Cliques Twist

Julie announced that cliques will rule the game, as each of the houseguests will be playing the game as part of a familiar high school clique. She clarified that they are still playing as individuals and will be nominated and evicted as individuals. However, if a member of your clique becomes HoH then no one in your clique can be evicted.

The cliques are as follows:

Athletes: Jeff, Natalie and Russell.
Brains: Chima, Michele and Ronnie.
Offbeat: Casey, Kevin and Lydia.
Popular: Braden, Jordan and Laura.

HoH Competition - “The Wedgie”

The houseguests must hold on to their toilet seat for dear life. If you let go of your seat you are out of the competition. The last houseguest holding on will be the winner. The winning clique will have a distinct advantage. However, no one in the yard will be HoH.

Julie then revealed four past houseguests to the viewers, one for each clique. The past houseguests were Jessie (Athletes), Brian (Brains), Cowboy (Offbeat) and Jessica (Popular). Julie informed them that only one of them will get a second chance at the half a million dollars. The past houseguest whose clique wins the HoH competition will be moving in to the house and will become the first HoH.

Order to drop out of the competition: Michele, Ronnie, Lydia, Jordan, Kevin, Jeff, Chima, Casey, Laura, Braden.

The Athletes won the HoH competition, seeing as Natalie and Russell were the last houseguests remaining.

Jessie got to enter the house and is the HoH.

Veto Competition - “Pop Goes The Veto”

Veto Players: Jessie, Chima, Lydia, Jeff, Natalie and Russell.

On the oily face are enormous zits. On go, the houseguests will have 10 minutes to pop the pimples. Inside of them are tiles with different letters on each side. The letters must be used to spell a word. The houseguest that correctly spells the longest word will win the Power of Veto.

Jessie spelled CONTINOUSLY, an incorrectly spelled 11 letter word.
Natalie spelled LAST, a correctly spelled 4 letter word.
Chima spelled SUPER IALITY, an incorrectly spelled 11 letter word.

Big Brother fans were polled and were asked a series of questions based on the cliques in the Big Brother house. Standing in their cliques, one member from each group will step up to the podium and try to guess how the majority of America answered the question. The answer will either be Athletes, Offbeats, Popular or Brains. Answer incorrectly and you are eliminated from the competition. Answer correctly and you stay in the game and can eliminate someone playing in that round. The last houseguest standing will become the new HoH.

Veto Competition - “Big Brother Mint”

There are piles of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. In each round, Big Brother will ask you to collect a certain dollar amount. You will only have two minutes to collect your change. The houseguest who is furthest from the targeted amount will be eliminated from the competition. The winner of the round will have a decision to make. There are three money bags. They contain $5,000, a slop pass and nothing. You may claim a bag but you will be eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.

One at a time, each houseguest will step up to the Big Brother launcher and shoot a single ball in to the honeycomb target. The outer rings are worth between one and seven points. The centre is worth ten points. Your ball’s final resting place will be your score. The houseguest with the highest score will become the new HoH.

Results: Jeff 6, Jessie 6, Kevin 5, Russell 5, Michele 4, Chima 3, Natalie 2, Casey 1, Jordan 1, Lydia 1.

Veto Competition - “When Pigs Fly”

Veto Players: Jessie, Jordan, Michele, Casey, Chima and Jeff.
Host: Natalie.

Hidden in the mud pit are a pigs favourite delicacy, truffles. Each one has a different point value ranging from 1-10. You will use your rope swing to fly into the mud pit to collect truffles. Once you find a truffle, bring it back to your platform to reveal its value. If you think it’s high enough, lock it in. If not, discard it. You may only keep four truffles. Some truffles will contain a prize. At the end of five minutes, the houseguest whose truffles add up to the highest points wins the Power of Veto.

At the conclusion of the five minutes, the houseguests were offered a temptation. They were offered the chance to take an envelope which may add points or deduct points from their score.

Michele chose Envelope 5, Casey chose Envelope 6, Jeff chose Envelope 2 and Jessie chose Envelope 1.

Coup D’Etat Announcement

Following Casey’s eviction, Julie announced that the cliques no longer exist. She also revealed that one of the houseguests will soon be granted a mystery power that can be used in the next two weeks and could completely change the course of the game. Julie then told the viewers that they will be voting for someone to receive the coup d’etat, which will give the winner the ability to overthrow the HoH by replacing one or both of the nominees at either of the next two evictions.

HoH Competition - “Big Brother Graduation”

If you fall, you will be eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest hanging will become the new HoH. The first five houseguests eliminated from the competition will be able to choose a graduation from the table.

The object of the game is to earn three points. To earn a point you must win a round. For each round, Big Brother will ask a question about one of the items. You will write down what you think is the correct amount and then everyone will reveal their answers. You will then have two options, stay or fold. If you fold you cannot earn a point but you will remain in the game. If you stay you can earn the point if your answer is closest to the actual amount. If you stay and are furthest from the answer you will be eliminated. The first houseguest to three points will win the Power of Veto.

Julie will ask a series of questions based on the advice that haunted their dreams last night. The houseguests must determine if the quote that Julie reads is true or false. Answer correctly to stay in the game. Answer incorrectly and you will be eliminated. The last person standing will become the new HoH.

The houseguests must use their fingers to lift an egg up the fence and out of the hole at the top. They must then cross the bacon and place the egg on the egg stand. The first player to get 12 eggs in to the egg stand will win the Power of Veto.

Jeff used the Coup D’Etat. Jeff decided to take Lydia off of the block, replacing her with Natalie. Jeff decided to take Russell off of the block, replacing him with Jessie.

HoH Competition - “Hit The Road”

Two at time, the houseguests will face off at the podium and answer a question based on previous competitions that have taken place this summer. The answer to the question will be one of the following: “HoH”, “Have-Not” or “Veto”. Buzz in and answer correctly to stay in the game. Answer incorrectly and you will be eliminated. The houseguest that advances will then choose the next two houseguests to face off. The last houseguest standing will become the new HoH.

Matchup 1: Kevin vs Lydia.
Question: In this competition you may have let out a groan if you didn’t land in to the honeycomb.
Answer: HoH. Kevin answered correctly.

Matchup 2: Jeff vs Russell.
Question: This competition didn’t have a cabana but it did dress Casey up like a giant banana.

Matchup 3: Chima vs Natalie.
Question: This competition swept you off your feet as you clung to a hanging toilet seat.

Question: This game could have been a major bummer if you despised being a glow in the dark plumber.

This competition was both complex and simple if you had the nerve to pop a pimple.

Expulsion

Allison Grodner gathered the houseguests in the living room to inform them that Chima has been expelled. Chima destroyed her microphone by throwing it in to the hot tub and violated multiple rules. It was later announced that Michele’s duties as HoH are considered over and that a new HoH Competition will take place.

HoH Competition - “HoH Invitational Golf Tournament”

In each round the houseguests will get one putt. If you sink your ball, you will get a hole in one and a score of one which is the best score for the round. If you miss it, your ball will land in one of the sections of the giant windmill. You will get the point value indicated. The lower the score the better. The houseguest with the highest score at the end of each round will be eliminated. The eliminated houseguest will earn a prize, one of which is the HoH key. Each subsequently eliminated houseguest may keep their prize or trade it for one of the prizes that has already been revealed.

Round 1: Jeff 1, Kevin 1, Russell 1, Natalie 2, Jordan 3, Lydia 6.
Lydia was eliminated from the competition. Lydia’s prize was the HoH key.

Round 2: Jeff 1, Jordan 1, Kevin 1, Russell 1, Natalie 7.
Natalie was eliminated from the competition. Natalie’s prize was a Hawaiian vacation.

Round 3: Jeff 1, Kevin 1, Jordan 5, Russell 7.
Russell was eliminated from the competition. Russell’s prize was a phone call from home. Russell traded it to Natalie for the Hawaiian vacation.

Round 4: Jeff 1, Jordan 4, Kevin 5.
Kevin was eliminated from the competition. Kevin’s prize was $5,000.

Round 5: Jordan 4, Jeff DQ.
Jeff was eliminated from the competition. Jeff’s prize was a spa experience in which he would enjoy a massage in the backyard. Jeff traded it to Russell for the Hawaiian vacation.

Jordan’s prize was spending a week dressed as “Captain Unitard”. Jordan traded it to Lydia for the HoH key.

Answer incorrectly and you will be eliminated. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.

The houseguests must pick soda cans from the barrel behind them and then drop the cans in to the tubes below them. The first houseguest to stack 24 cans in to their tubes will become the new HoH. If nobody has 24 cans in their tube by the end of the hour, the winner will be the houseguest with the most cans stacked in their tube.

The two houseguests with the fewest cans in their tubes will be the have-nots for the week.

Jeff won HoH.

Veto Competition - “OTEV The Ape”

Veto Players: Jeff, Kevin, Natalie, Jordan, Michele and Russell.

In each round, Casey will rap a riddle about a houseguest. Once he is done, you must find the banana with that houseguest’s name on it. The last houseguest to bring back the correct answer in each round will be eliminated. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.

Round 1: You couldn’t contain the big smile on his face when he walked outside dressed as a princess from space.
Answer: Ronnie. Jordan was the last to return with the correct answer and was eliminated from the competition.

Round 2: He was cut like a diamond but he fell like a tree, and he couldn’t spell the word continuously.
Answer: Jessie. Natalie was the last to return with the correct answer and was eliminated from the competition.

Round 3: After losing “BB Mint”, it was all she wrote. This person went home by an 8-1 vote.
Answer: Laura. Russell was the last to return with the correct answer and was eliminated from the competition.

Round 4: Was on his way to the top before he got the boot, was the first ever houseguest that left as a fruit.
Answer: Casey. Kevin was the last to return with the correct answer and was eliminated from the competition.

Round 5: Walking around the house no shirt, leather coat, this dude was evicted by a tiebreaker vote.
Answer: Braden. Michele was the last to return with the correct answer and was eliminated from the competition.

HoH Competition - “The S’more The Merrier!”

On go, the houseguests will make their way across the graham cracker and retrieve their mug. They will then make their way back across the graham cracker, reach in to the mug and fill their mug with hot chocolate. They will then bring the hot chocolate back across the graham cracker and pour it in to their bowl.

The goal is to transfer enough hot chocolate in to the bowl so that you can remove the marshmallow from the bowl. The first to do so will become the new HoH.

Kevin won HoH.

Pandora’s Box

Kevin was told that opening Pandora’s Box could release something good or something bad upon the opener or upon the house. Kevin was tempted with a message that said that he could release $10,000 by sticking his hand in to the hole. Kevin decided to open Pandora’s Box.

Kevin stuck his hand in to the hole and his hand was then locked in to the box. Money then begun raining down in the backyard for the rest of the houseguests. Kevin was told that the key to his release is hidden somewhere in the house.

Jeff found the key and unlocked Kevin.

Winnings: Jeff $3,181, Michele $2,563, Natalie $1,904, Jordan $1,726, Kevin $626.

Veto Competition - “Martians Are From Mars, Houseguests Are From Veto”

Veto Players: Kevin, Jeff, Michele, Jordan and Natalie.

One at a time, the houseguests were called out to the backyard to compete. Alien faces will be shown on the screen. You must decide which two houseguests make up the alien. The player who correctly identifies the houseguests that make up all six houseguests in the shortest amount of time will win the Power of Veto. The winner will also get a 55 inch HD TV, sound bar and DVD player.

Results: Michele 1:52, Natalie 2:55, Jeff 3:01, Kevin 3:05, Jordan 5:09.

Julie will make a series of statements. The houseguests must decide if the statements are fact or fiction. Each correct answer is worth one point. The houseguest with the most points after seven questions will become the new HoH.

Pandora’s Box

Natalie was told that opening Pandora’s Box could release something good or something bad upon the opener or upon the house. Natalie was tempted by being shown her boyfriend on the screen. Natalie was told that if she decides to enter Pandora’s Box to meet with her loved one she would not be able to compete in the final veto competition.

Natalie decided to open Pandora’s Box. Once Natalie was inside of Pandora’s Box her boyfriend proposed to her. She said yes.

Veto Competition - “Ain’t No Party Like A Veto Block Party”

Veto Players: Jordan, Kevin and Michele.

Each houseguest has a station with 20 clues, 10 on the left side and 10 on the right side. They also have 10 blocks with the names of houseguests written on all four sides. On go, find a block that matches both clues and match it up correctly. The first houseguest to correctly stack all 10 blocks and buzz in will win the Power of Veto.

Kevin won the Power of Veto.

Final HoH Competition - Part 1 - “Log Jam”

The houseguests must hold on to their key for dear life while balancing on a rolling log. Let go and they will be eliminated from the competition. The last person holding on to their key will win Part 1 and will advance to Part 3 of the Final HoH Competition.

Order to drop out of the competition: Jordan (3 hours 33 minutes), Natalie (3 hours 58 minutes).

Final HoH Competition - Part 2 - “Heads Will Roll”

In front of the houseguests is a giant game board with holes numbered 1 through 10. The goal of the competition is to place the Heads of Household in the correct order from first to last, with the first hole representing the first HoH of the summer. The houseguests will have two minutes to roll the balls up the ramp and in to the correct order. The houseguest who gets the most correct answers will win Part 2 and will advance to Part 3.

Results: Jordan got 9 correct in 1:42, Natalie got 5 correct in 1:58.

Final HoH Competition - Part 3

Julie will read the beginning of five statements made by each member of the jury while in the jury house. Julie will give the choice of two possible endings. It is up to the houseguests to decide how they think that the juror completed that statement. The houseguest with the most correct answers at the end of five statements will become the Final HoH.
