Coaches Twist
Julie informed the houseguests that four of the best houseguests in Big Brother history will be returning to the game to coach them. Julie explained that each coach will pick three houseguests that they will guide all summer long. She revealed that the coach of the winning player will receive $100,000.
One at a time, Dan, Britney, Boogie and Janelle then entered through the front door.
Draft
Round 1: Shane (1st overall - Team Britney), Frank (2nd overall - Team Boogie), Wil (3rd overall - Team Janelle), Kara (4th overall - Team Dan).

HoH Competition - “Mattress Madness”
The houseguests are playing in teams. One at a time, each houseguest will make their way across the mattresses to the large bin on the opposite side. They will then bring back a teddy bear. If they fall at any point, they must return to the end that they last left. The first team to get all three bears on to their bedroom shelf and turn off their night light will win the competition. At the 20 minute mark, each coach may make one substitution.
The coach of the winning team will decide which one of his or her players will become the first HoH. The coach of the last place team will send one of their players home tonight.
Results: 1st - Team Britney, 2nd - Team Janelle, 3rd - Team Boogie, 4th - Team Dan.
Britney chose Willie to be the first HoH.
Eviction
Because his team finished last in the HoH competition, Dan had to evict one of his players. Dan chose to evict Jodi.
Coaches Competition - “Big Brother Derby”
The competition is played in heats. Two coaches will battle in Heat 1, followed by the other two coaches in Heat 2. The winners will face off in Heat 3. The houseguests will race around the track in the same direction, trying to catch the horse in front of them. They must yank off the tail of their opponent to win. The winning coach will earn the right to keep one of their players safe from eviction this week.
Heat 1: Boogie vs Britney. Boogie won.
Heat 2: Dan vs Janelle. Janelle won.
Heat 3: Boogie vs Janelle. Boogie won.
Boogie won the coaches competition and chose to save Ian from eviction this week.
The coaches each had to choose one of their players to be the have-nots for the week. The four houseguests that are the have-nots are Ashley, Danielle, Ian and Shane.

Veto Competition - “Loose Change"
Veto Players: Willie, Frank, Kara, Danielle, Shane and Wil.

On go, the houseguests must race through the soap suds to find a coin. They will then bring the coin back to their vending machine and must toss it into the coin slot from behind the laundry basket. The first person to throw the exact change totalling $1.30 into their vending machine will win the Power of Veto.

HoH Competition - “Big Brother Break-In"
The houseguests were woken up during the night in order to watch videos. Julie will ask a series of questions based on what the burglar did in those videos. If you answer correctly you will stay in the game. If you answer incorrectly you will be eliminated. The last houseguest standing will become the new HoH.
Question 1: The burglar is accused of stealing a carpet tile. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Guilty. Everyone answered correctly.
Question 2: The burglar is accused of taking a total of two bites of food while in the storage room. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Not guilty. Shane answered incorrectly and was eliminated from the competition.
Question 3: The burglar is accused of shaving his right leg. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Guilty. Ashley, Danielle, Ian, Jenn, Joe and JoJo answered incorrectly and were eliminated from the competition.
Question 4: While attempting to steal a sneaker off of the shelf, the burglar is accused of not wearing a hat. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Guilty. Everyone answered incorrectly.
Question 5: After drinking the milk, the burglar is accused of not putting the cap back on the container. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Not guilty. Everyone answered correctly.
Question 6: While doing the robot dance, the burglar is accused of not wearing gloves. Guilty or not guilty?
Answer: Guilty. Wil answered incorrectly and was eliminated from the competition.
Frank won HoH.
Julie announced that the winner of the next Coaches Competition can either choose to keep one of their players safe or trade one of their players for another coach’s player. Everyone is eligible to be traded except for the HoH.
Coaches Competition - “Phat Stacks”
The coaches must transfer all of their cash from one side of the balance beam to the top of the pedestal on the other side. They may only take one stack of cash at a time. If their cash hits the ground, they are out of the game.
If they touch the ground, they are also out of the game. The first coach to transfer all of their cash and then come back and hit the buzzer will win the competition.
Janelle won the coaches competition and chose to save Ashley from eviction this week.
Janelle chose Ian, JoJo, Shane and Willie to be the four have-nots for the week. The have-not menu for the week is pork rinds and pudding.
Expulsion
After Willie made contact with Joe, the producers instructed him to go to the back bedroom and told Joe to not follow him. Shortly thereafter, Willie was called to the diary room.
Producer Allison Grodner then asked the rest of the houseguests to gather in the living room. She said that violence is not tolerated in the Big Brother house, so Willie has been removed from the game.

Veto Competition - “Memory Chip”
Veto Players: Frank, JoJo, Shane, Ashley, Ian and Wil.

Hidden in the bowls of guacamole, salsa, cheese and beans are menu items. On go, the houseguests must build a menu that exactly matches the master menu on the other side of the yard. Once the houseguests think that they have all of the menu items in the correct order, they must close their menu and ring the dinner bell to lock in their time. The person who gets the most menu items right in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto.
Ashley rang in sixth and got 13 of 16 menu items correct.
Wil rang in fifth last and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.
Frank rang in fourth and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.
JoJo rang in third and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.
Ian rang in second and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.
Shane rang in first and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.
Shane won the Power of Veto.

HoH Competition - “On Thin Ice”
One at a time, each houseguest will step up and take their shot. The goal is to get your ball into the slot with the highest number. Any ball that does not make it into the slot will result in a score of zero. The houseguest with the highest score will become the new HoH.

Coaches Competition - “Feel The Burn”
The coaches will face off against each other at the first workout station in Round 1. On go, they will have two minutes to do as many reps as possible. The coach with the least amount of reps will be eliminated. This process will continue at the subsequent workout stations until only one coach remains. Each eliminated coach gets to open one locker and claim what’s inside.
Round 1 Reps: Boogie 267, Janelle 241, Dan 233, Britney 221.
Britney was eliminated from the competition.
Britney got Locker #1 and had to choose two houseguest to be have-nots for the week. Britney chose Ian and Joe.
Round 2 Reps: Janelle 205, Dan 201, Boogie 194.
Boogie was eliminated from the competition.
Boogie got Locker #2 and was given $10,000 to split between him and any two players that he wishes to share it with. It is divided into three amounts, those being $6,000, $3,000 and $1,000.
Boogie took the $6,000, gave Ian the $3,000 and gave Jenn the $1,000.
Round 3 Reps: Janelle 105, Dan 47.
Dan was eliminated from the competition.
Dan got Locker #3 and was awarded a private sushi and cocktail party for him and five guests. Dan chose Boogie, Britney, Janelle, Danielle and Shane.
Janelle won the coaches competition and chose to save Wil for the week.

Veto Competition - “The Juggler”

Each houseguest must roll two balls, each ball on a different ramp, at the same time. When your ball hits the ground, you are eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.
Order to drop out of the competition: Wil, Joe, Frank, Danielle, Ashley.

America’s Vote
With Joe and Frank nominated on eviction night, Julie informed the houseguests that it was time to put all of the theories about the coaches to bed. She explained that all week America has been voting on whether they would like the coaches to be offered the opportunity to enter the game as players or to have them remain as coaches.
Julie revealed that America voted to offer the coaches the opportunity to enter the game as players. Julie then explained that if the coaches entered the game they would be resetting the game right now, with everyone competing as individuals and with neither Frank nor Joe being evicted tonight. However, if the coaches choose to remain coaches, then some evicted houseguests would have the chance to return to the game next Thursday.
Julie told the coaches that they will enter the diary room one at a time, where they will find a reset button. If even one of the coaches hits the button, the game resets and all of the coaches will enter the game as players.
Britney hit the reset button.
Boogie did not hit the reset button.
Dan hit the reset button.
Janelle hit the reset button.
As a result of the reset button being pushed, the game has been reset and there will be no eviction tonight.
HoH Competition - “Walk The Plank”
The houseguests must hang on to remain in the competition. If you fall off of the plank and into the water, you will be eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest standing will become the new HoH.

In each round you will get one shot to launch your ball into the baseball diamond target. At the end of each round, the player with the lowest score will be eliminated. Each player will claim a prize once eliminated. The players eliminated after you have the option of keeping their prize or claiming yours.

Frank’s prize was $5,000. He traded Wil for the Power of Veto.
Danielle’s prize was a “spiritard”, which has to be worn for the entire week. She traded Frank for the Power of Veto.

Two at a time, you will face off at the podium. You will hear a short song that will describe a competition that was played this summer. Your goal is to be the first to identify if it was an HoH competition, veto competition or a coaches competition. Answer correctly to stay in the game and choose the next two houseguests to face off. If you answer incorrectly you will be eliminated. The last houseguest standing will become the new HoH.

Last year the houseguests helped Zingbot find his bride. This year it’s up to the houseguests to bring Baby Zingbot to life. Baby Zingbot is in the Zingcubator. To bring him to life, you must build a pipeline from the Zingtonium chamber to the transformer.
Your pipeline must go through all six gateways. Once you have completed the pipeline, use the special tool to guide a Zingtonium orb through the pipeline and into the transformer. The houseguest who does so first will bring Baby Zingbot to life and win the Power of Veto.

The houseguests will fill up their cup with as much liquid as they can and transfer it across the yard to their jug. As the jug fills, the cork will rise. The first houseguest to fill the jug to the point where they can remove the cork will become the new HoH. There are also two smaller jugs, one for one week’s safety and one for $10,000. The first to fill up either small jug would win the associated prize.
Boogie won $10,000 and Britney won safety for the week.

The object of the game is to earn three lollipop points. The houseguests will be asked questions about the candy displays. You will write down and then reveal your answer. After hearing everyone’s answer, you will choose to stay or fold. If you stay and are closest to the actual answer, you will earn a point. If you fold, you wont earn a point but you also will not be eliminated. If you stay and are the furthest from the correct answer, you will be eliminated. The first player to earn three lollipop points will win the Power of Veto.

The houseguests will run across the yard and search for two clovers in the pot of gold at the end of their lane. After they have found their clovers, they must bring them back to their podium one at a time then retrieve the veto sign that hangs above it. The first person to do so and buzz in will win the Power of Veto.

HoH Competition - “Pull Some Strings”
Each houseguest will use the strings to raise the bar in order to try to get their ball in the highest score possible. After one round, the houseguests will be ranked and will face off in head to head matchups to determine who will become the new HoH.
Scores: Shane 17, Joe 10, Danielle 8, Britney 7, Jen 6, Frank 5, Dan 1.
For the head to head matchups, the houseguests will play simultaneously on two identical game boards. The first houseguest to get their ball into the hole marked with the arrow will win the matchup and advance to the next round.

Matchup 3: Frank vs Britney. Frank won.

Pandora’s Box
Frank received Pandora’s Box. He was warned that opening Pandora’s Box could release something bad upon the opener or upon the rest of the house. Frank was tempted with a room full of boxes with dollar signs on them. The next card told him that behind the door is a guarantee that he will leave richer than he came in.
Frank decided to open Pandora’s Box. Once inside, Frank was told that he has the chance to win up to $10,000 by opening three cubes of his choosing. He was also told to get comfortable because he will be locked in the room for an hour.
The three cubes that Frank chose contained $1.05, $7.11 and $3,333.33, for a total of $3,341.49.
Veto Competition
The rest of houseguests, aside from Frank, were let outside. They were informed that Pandora’s Box has been opened and that as a result of that a second veto can be unleashed in to the house. The houseguests were told that in order to make an attempt to win the veto they will need 50 cents.
Plastic balls then began raining down in the backyard, some of which contained coins inside. The houseguests needed the quarters in order to active the machine in the arcade room. They must then successfully retrieve the veto ball from inside of the machine.
Ian won the veto ball.

Veto Competition - “Draw Something”
Veto Players: Frank, Dan, Danielle, Britney, Jenn and Shane.
Host: Ian.
The houseguests will have to try to identify the word that the artist was trying to convey in their “Draw Something” drawing. The houseguest with the most points after all ten works of art are shown will win the Power of Veto. Each word is a clue to a punishment. If you answer correctly, you will have to accept the punishment to be rewarded the points. Players are not allowed to assist each other at any point in the game. If you do so, you will be eliminated from the competition.
Round 1 - 2 points - Frank correctly answered “avocado”. Frank dyed himself green in an avocado bath in order to earn the points.
Round 2 - 5 points - Dan correctly answered “hunger”. Dan ate “ick sticks” and “veto sushi” in order to earn the points.
Round 3 - 4 points - Jenn correctly answered “clock”. Jenn took off her clothes and burned them to earn the points.
Round 4 - 6 points - Britney correctly answered “shackle”. Britney agreed to be shackled to Danielle for 24 hours to earn the points.
Round 5 - 7 points - Frank correctly answered “shower”. Frank agreed to a chum shower every time an alarm sounds over the next 24 hours to earn the points.
Round 6 - 3 points - Frank correctly answered “carrot”. Frank agreed to wear a carrot suit for one week in order to earn the points.
Round 7 - 10 points - Frank correctly answered “bench”. Frank agreed to sit himself out of the next eligible HoH competition to earn the points.
Round 8 - 6 points - Danielle correctly answered “spots”. Danielle agreed to allow her fellow houseguests to splatter her with paint for two minutes to earn the points.
Round 9 - 8 points - Dan correctly answered “trip”. Dan agreed to take a 24 hour trip to the solitary dance party to earn the points.
Round 10 - 11 points - Britney buzzed in and Frank whispered the answer “summer” to her. Frank was disqualified. A new drawing was then shown. Jenn correctly answered “ticket”. Jenn took slop for the rest of the summer to earn the points.

HoH Competition - “Soak Up The Sun”
The last houseguest standing on their disc will become the new HoH. The first houseguest to fall will have to open the box that sits next to Frank. While the houseguests were told that it could be a prize or could be a punishment, America voted to make it a punishment.
Joe dropped out first and received a punishment of 24 hours of hula hoop boot camp. Every time the music plays he must hula hoop until it stops.
Order to drop out of the competition: Joe (2 minutes), Jenn (5 minutes), Danielle (34 minutes), Dan (42 minutes), Shane (1 hour 56 minutes).
Ian won HoH.
Pandora’s Box
Ian received Pandora’s Box. He was warned that opening Pandora’s Box could release something bad upon the opener or upon the rest of the house.
Ian was tempted with a room that had a Christmas tree and plenty of presents. Ian was told that he may enter and have the best Christmas ever, but with every temptation comes a consequence.

Meanwhile, Jessie from Big Brother 10 and Big Brother 11 entered through the front door. Jessie brought gifts to the houseguests, consisting of healthy foods. Jessie then took all of the junk food out of the house.

OTEV told the houseguests that he needs corn to fuel his ship back to planet veto. The houseguests were told that they will be given a riddle in each round, and then they will slide down the ramp and search for a corn cob that has the answer to the riddle. They will then make their way back up the ramp and kneel on a vacant sack. The last person to bring back the correct answer will be eliminated. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.

Ian decided to open Pandora’s Box. He was congratulated and told to enjoy the message of love recorded just for him. Ian’s message was from Big Brother 13 winner Rachel Reilly. Meanwhile, the other houseguests got messages from their families.

Veto Competition “Time Flies”
Veto Players: Ian, Jenn, Shane, Dan and Danielle.
The houseguests must fly from their puzzle to the timer and hit the button, which will magnetize the puzzle for 20 seconds. If you don’t fly back and hit the button before the clock hits zero, the board will demagnetize and you will have to start over. The first person to have a complete puzzle and fly back and hit the button will win the Power of Veto.
The winner of the veto will also win a special luxury prize.
Shane won the Power of Veto.
Shane was informed that he will get the chance to see some of the stars of the biggest event of the summer. Shane got to choose one houseguest to bring with him. He chose Danielle. They got to go to the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, watching the US Women’s Gymnastics Team from the London 2012 Olympics.

The houseguest who does so in the quickest time will win Part 2 of the Final HoH Competition.
