Big Brother 16 to Feature a Two-Night Premiere Event

June 12, 2014

Big Brother 16 kicks off on June 25th with a pre-show on CBS.com, hosted by Jeff Schroeder. The event, which will focus on discussion about the houseguests and twists for the upcoming season, will take place from 7:00-8:00 PM ET. The first episode airs immediately after the online event (8:00-9:00 PM ET), and is the first half of a special two night move-in event. Part two airs the following the night, June 26th, from 9:00-10:00 PM ET. The regularly scheduled time slots for this season are Sundays and Wednesdays from 8:00-9:00 PM and Thursdays for live eviction shows from 9:00-10:00 PM, beginning with the first live eviction on July 3rd. This year, the Big Brother house has been upgraded in order to allow for both the show and the live feeds to be broadcast in HD.

As for the live feeds, they will also begin the night of the second episode, with a scheduled start time of 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT. Jeff Schroeder will partake in a “Big Brother All-Nighter”, live tweeting the happenings on the live feeds for the first 16 hours that the feeds are turned on. Live feeds can be purchased here, and are still available at the early bird discount of 20% off ($23.99 for the season) off if you sign up now. The live feeds can be watched on mobile devices, by going to cbs.com/bblivefeeds/ after subscribing.
