BB17 Day 11 - Jace is nominated; The houseguests figure out Audrey's game
June 28, 2015
9:00-10:00 AM: Austin and Vanessa were awake before everyone else and took advantage of that by talking game in the backyard. Vanessa had clued Austin in on the plan to backdoor Jace last night. Vanessa said that James has been manipulated. They discussed that Audrey is trying to cover all of her bases. Vanessa likened Audrey’s game to Brian, saying that she is almost covering herself too much so at this point. Vanessa thought that it was best for them to simply let the blindside of Jace happen and play dumb to the fact that they are on the outside. She felt that their best bet was to not let Audrey, Clay, Jeff and Shelli know that they are on to them working together. Vanessa made it clear that she is not there to crown Audrey and Clay. Austin asked Vanessa who it is that he should be talking game with. Vanessa advised Austin to let people give him information. She said that he can mirror what they are saying. Vanessa filled Austin in on Jeff saying that he wants to kill Austin. Austin figured that people must be telling Jeff that he wanted to go after him.
Vanessa told Austin that she does not think that Da’Vonne and Jason are involved in all of this. Austin said that people have been talking about Da’Vonne as though she is a puppet master, so they must just be creating paranoia around her. They again talked about the game that Audrey is playing. Vanessa said that she would bet her life on it that Audrey’s main allegiance is to Clay. Vanessa mentioned that she was a professional gambler before being a DJ. Austin said that Vanessa must have a good read on this then. The two continued to discuss the expected nomination of Jace. Austin said that he could see Jace going nuts, screaming and calling out people like Audrey and Clay for having gone back on the alliance. Vanessa thought that James likely gave his word to Jason when they won HoH and cannot go back on that.
They begun to discuss who they could work with. Vanessa said that Becky is under utilized. She said that Becky is smart, trustworthy and good competitor, though they could not work with her for too long because she could win the game. Austin and Vanessa agreed that John is someone that they can work with. Vanessa also noted that Steve is a nice guy. Austin questioned if Steve is with Da’Vonne. Vanessa said that he may be but he is not with the other side. Austin asked if he should try building a relationship with Da’Vonne. Vanessa said that it cannot hurt. She explained that Da’Vonne feels bullied and alone in the house. Vanessa mentioned that you do not want to be the one that Da’Vonne goes off on. Austin pointed out that they are currently letting Audrey run the game and they are being afraid of her. Vanessa said that she is not afraid of Audrey but it is a long game and they have to wait for the right time to make their moves. Vanessa said that Shelli is also someone that they can work with in the long run, though not until Audrey and Clay are out of the picture. Vanessa said that she is going to work on her relationship with Liz. Austin said that Liz is trustworthy and will do what the two of them want her to do.
11:00-12:00 PM: Austin spoke to Audrey and discussed the possibility of Jace going on the block today. Audrey told Austin that if Jace does end up going it may be best for his game. Austin said that he agrees and that he will not flip out or try to get the votes for Jace if he is nominated, as he cannot sacrifice his own game for Jace. Austin thought that Jace will be shocked if he goes up and he may end up flipping out. Austin then brought up that Jeff seems to be acting weird towards him, as if he knows that he has been mentioning Jeff’s name. Audrey and Austin discussed people that they can work with moving forward. Vanessa’s name was brought up and Austin also said that he thought that he could get John on board.
Meanwhile, Jason filled Da’Vonne in on what happened last night. He told her about the new group that formed and includes the two of them, Meg, Jeff, James, Clay, Shelli and Audrey. Jason revealed that Jeff has figured Audrey out at this point, though James and Clay are still blinded by her. Jason said that he clued Jeff in on the fact that Da’Vonne and himself know what’s going on with Audrey as well. After her talk with Austin, Audrey began telling people that someone has leaked information to Austin. Audrey told Clay that she suspects that it was Vanessa that told Austin things. Audrey then told James that John is with Vanessa. James said that he knew it. Audrey told Da’Vonne that Vanessa has been the rat the whole time. Afterwards, she went to Shelli and said that she thinks that Clay is the one that is telling things to Vanessa. Audrey then questioned Clay about it. Clay denied it and said that he has not talked to anyone yet this morning. Audrey said that it’s suspicious that Austin is having all of these revelations this morning and didn’t come to her sooner if he hadn’t just found out about it.
12:00-1:00 PM: Clay went to the have-not room to speak with Austin and Liz. Austin discussed that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Jace go up today. Clay played along with it that they will have to find a way to save Jace if James turns on them and nominates one of them. After Clay left the room, Austin told Liz that Clay is a liar and is with Audrey but they need to play dumb and pretend that they do not know that. Clay then went back to Audrey and said that he doesn’t believe that Austin and Liz are working with Vanessa. Audrey told Clay that they are and that he needs to stop protecting Vanessa. Audrey informed Clay that she will be backdooring Vanessa if she wins HoH next week. Clay said that he is fine with that.
Austin and Jeff compared notes on who is telling them gossip about each other. They agreed that it is Audrey that is trying to turn them on each other and saying that they cannot trust each other. Jace entered the room and began to feel that he may be going on the block. Austin said that he likely will since he is the easy target. After hearing what was going on with Audrey, Jace said that she is controlling everything. After Jace left, Austin and Jeff continued their conversation and said that they cannot let any of this get back to Audrey. Austin wondered if they should try to flip this on Audrey right now and get her nominated. Jeff said that it’s too late at this point. Austin told Jeff to know that he is willing to work with him moving forward, even if Jace goes on the block.
Jeff then went to Da’Vonne to tell her that he thinks that Audrey is a big problem and is behind every bit of drama that is attached to his name. Da’Vonne agreed and said that it’s the same for her. Jeff felt that their alliance would never be strong with Audrey stirring the pot. Da’Vonne said that they will have to get rid of Audrey, though Jeff was concerned that it would be tough to do since people like Clay and James are brainwashed by her. Jeff said that they are not going to let Audrey be the Amanda Zuckerman. He didn’t understand how everyone could be so blinded by the fact that Audrey is playing them all. Da’Vonne said that she has seen it since Day 2. Jeff suggested that the two of them and Jason begin having meetings to talk things over. He said that they will need to puppet master things themselves in order to get Audrey out. The feeds then went down for the veto ceremony.
1:00-2:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. We found out that Steve used the Power of Veto on himself. James nominated Jace as the replacement nominee. After Jace got out of the diary room, he quickly spoke to Austin. Austin said that they would need Jason and Da’Vonne to flip in order for Jace to stay. Jace thought that there was no chance of that happening, though Austin disagreed. He said that they are very alone in this game. Austin explained that a lot of people are now connecting the dots and starting to realize things. He said that people like Jeff are even coming up to him and telling him things. Austin told Jace that Clay cannot be trusted anymore because he is the link. Jace then went up to the HoH room to talk to James.
James told Jace that people are telling him that someone is trying to flip things on him. Jace said that he has had James’ back since Day 1 and it doesn’t make any sense that he would go against the person in power. James explained that he made this move for game reasons, citing that he doesn’t want to compete against Jace in the Battle of the Block as reason for taking him out. Jace told James that he has a lot of liars around him and he messed up. James apologized to Jace but Jace was not buying it and said that James wouldn’t even look him in the eye for the past 48 hours. Jace said that they will not be friends after this, since James is trying to embarrass him. James questioned why Jace signed up to be on the show if he wanted everyone to be telling the truth. James said that he had to make a game move and if it only gets him through one more week he is fine with it. Jace said it sucks and no one wants to be the first one to go.
2:00-3:00 PM: Jeff went to James and told him that Liz threw Austin under the bus and told him that Austin threw Jeff’s name out there the other day. Jeff said that Austin is a big threat and that he is going after him because he needs him out of there. Meanwhile, Audrey confronted Vanessa. Audrey said that she is hurt that things that she has confided in Vanessa have gotten back to her. Audrey also said that Vanessa is telling people that she cannot trust her. Vanessa denied both accusations. Audrey said that Austin is questioning her integrity now and people are telling her that Vanessa went to Austin. Vanessa told Audrey that she did not say her name to Austin as the person that told her about the girls alliance rumour. They called Austin in to the room. Austin confirmed what Vanessa was saying, denying that they put Audrey’s name out there.
Vanessa pointed out that Audrey did not even tell her who told her about the rumour, so she had no info on Audrey and she should not be hurt by it. Vanessa also said that she has every right to investigate when people are saying that she is in a girls alliance. Audrey had told Austin and Vanessa that she would get to the bottom of this and talk to the person that she heard it from. Should they continue to lie, Audrey said that she would bring them in to a room with Austin and Vanessa. Austin and Vanessa were fine with that but Vanessa advised Audrey not to stir up more drama. Audrey eventually asked to speak to Vanessa alone, telling her that Clay and Shelli were the ones that said that Vanessa told them that she cannot trust Audrey. Vanessa denied that. They continued to try to figure things out, since Vanessa could not understand how this all came about. Vanessa said that they should just create a group, air it all out and stick to it.
3:00-4:00 PM: Austin and Liz had a chat about Audrey. Austin wondered why they are letting Audrey run the game. He said that he would almost like to call a house meeting in order to call Audrey out for having made a Final 2 deal with him. Austin said that they need to out Audrey or else him and Liz will be the next to go. Austin also wanted to work on Jeff. He said that Jeff thinks that he is after him but it is not the case. Austin asked Liz to tell Jeff that Audrey is making things up with regards to Austin saying Jeff’s name. Austin suggested that they bring Da’Vonne in. He pointed out that Audrey and Clay are throwing Da’Vonne under the bus in order to deflect attention off of them. Austin said that he wants to create change in the house and will be able to flip the vote as long as Jason is on board with it. Austin and Liz both agreed that they need to get Audrey out of the house if they win HoH next week. Austin said that they should ask Audrey and Clay for advice, acting vulnerable and scared and making it seem like they trust them.
Audrey filled Clay in on the talk with Austin and Vanessa. She said that they are going to solidify something with Austin, Shelli and Vanessa. Audrey said that she wishes that Austin wasn’t involved but they can use that group to take out people like Da’Vonne on the other side when needed. When Audrey brought up that Clay told her that Vanessa said that she doesn’t trust her, Clay said that it’s untrue and that Audrey was the one that said that. Clay clarified that Vanessa told him that she trusts Audrey and has a lot in common with her. Audrey also voiced her concerns about Jeff. She felt that he has been pushing his own agenda about Austin. Audrey said that she will go after Liz, not Austin, if she wins HoH. Audrey also questioned Clay about whether or not he will pick her over Jeff when the time comes. Clay assured Audrey that his number one priority in the game is to work with her and Shelli. Both Audrey and Clay agreed that they do not trust Jackie.
Austin went to Steve to talk about how people are stirring things up and calling him into rooms to question him. Austin did not name any names but said that this person has also been talking about calling a house meeting. Steve seemed very surprised by all of this. Austin pointed out to Steve that there are 7 or 8 people on the outside that could join up and become the insiders if they figured things out. Austin informed Steve that people on the inside are trying to get him to target Da’Vonne. He said that they are isolating Da’Vonne and making her out to be some bad person. Steve said that Da’Vonne is a sweetie, which Austin agreed with. Austin said that if they can figure out which side Jason is on it could be huge. Should Jason be on the outside, Austin figured that they would really have the potential to flip things.
4:00-5:00 PM: Austin told Jace that he knew that he was going on the block since late last night, though he could not tell him. They discussed that Audrey and Clay are running the show. Austin said that he almost wants to call a house meeting. Jace felt that they should but Austin said that they need to hold off on it for now. Austin was concerned that he may have lost Vanessa now that Audrey scared her. Austin told Jace that he is not out of it yet and that he is campaigning hard for him. Audrey then got Austin and pulled him aside to tell him that everything is good with Vanessa and that they are going to create an alliance with Clay and Shelli. Audrey warned Austin that Liz cannot be trusted and that she is throwing Austin under the bus. After talking to Austin, Audrey went to Shelli to inform her about the five person group that they are going to form with Austin, Clay and Vanessa. Austin and Vanessa quickly met up to talk it over and said that they will be expendable within that group but at least they are aware of it. Both agreed that they trust Audrey more than they trust Clay. Austin said that Clay is harder to read. He also told Vanessa that it seems that Audrey is trying to set him up by making him not talk to Liz.
5:00-6:00 PM: Jace told Vanessa that his only move may be to call a house meeting to blow everything up. Jace said that Audrey is behind everything and she needs to go. Jace then made his way outside and talked to Audrey. Audrey said that she had nothing to do with his nomination. Jace said that he does not believe her. He said that everything that he tells Audrey has gotten out to other people. Jace said that Audrey can act innocent but he knows that she was behind his nomination. Audrey asked why he feels that way. Jace said he isn’t going to tell her anything since everything that he does tell her gets back to the rest of the house. Jace said that he is disappointed in Audrey because he thought that they were friends. Audrey continued to deny a role in it. Jace said that it’s really annoying that she is still trying to manipulate him. They eventually calmed down a bit and Audrey asked Jace which votes he has. Jace said that he doesn’t think that he has anyone at this point. He then began discussing how he has nothing to go home to because he had to give up his jobs and his house. Austin had told Jace yesterday that it would be best to create a sob story.
Austin told Liz that Audrey said that she threw him under the bus. Liz said that Audrey is a liar and that she didn’t even talk to anyone but Jeff. Austin said that Audrey doesn’t understand the bond that they have. Austin then told Liz about the alliance with Audrey, Clay, Shelli and Vanessa. He told her that it’s fake and he is loyal to her over it. Austin also told Liz that he has made a side alliance with John and he is trying to bring Steve in to it as well. Austin and Liz said that there is no one in the house that can be trusted right now. They began to question Da’Vonne again, wondering if she went to Audrey to tell her about the conversation that they had a couple of days ago. Liz figured that Da’Vonne did indeed do that. Meanwhile, Clay and Shelli talked about how it is concerning that Liz may find out about the alliance from Austin.
6:00-7:00 PM: Jace spoke to Clay and Shelli and continued on with his story about having nothing to go home to. He asked them if they are voting with the house. Clay said that they will have to but they will be with him if he has the votes. Shelli advised Jace to talk to James. Jace said that he has already said his piece to James and he will not talk to him again after he turned his back on him. Jace told them that he wants to know who stabbed him in the back. Shelli said that this was James’ idea. Jace told her that James did not say that. James told Jace that two people came up to him to say that Jace was turning on him. Elsewhere, Da’Vonne, Audrey and Jason were discussing the need to break up the couples before jury. Da’Vonne pointed out that Shelli would be a lost puppy without Clay. Jason said that Clay may be the more trustworthy one and therefore be the better one to keep around. Jason said that he trusts Clay and Shelli more than Jackie and Jeff and might be fine with keeping both of them until jury, while getting rid of both Jackie and Jeff.
Austin told Liz that Jace’s only way of staying may be to call Audrey out in front of everyone. Austin also continued to talk about the alliance that Audrey wants to make with him, Clay, Shelli and Vanessa. Austin believes that they are playing him and that Audrey and Clay are making similar alliances with everyone. Austin then spoke to Jace, who said that he feels strangely in power right now. Austin said that Jace should blow this whole thing up if he is going home. Jace that he will but not today. Austin suggested a public call out of Audrey and all of the alliances that she has made. Austin thought that it could be best to call a meeting with the entire house except for Audrey and Clay. He told Jace to sleep on it and come up with a plan.
7:00-8:00 PM: Jace went up to the HoH room to talk to James. He told James that he has thought things over and realizes that there would be no reason to go after James if he stayed, since there were people getting in James’ ear. Jace asked if there is anything that can be done to make James change his mind and be willing to help him out. James said that the only thing that he can do is interrogate the people that hold him things a bit more. Jace explained that he was the one telling the truth and that the people that lied to James are the ones that are safe. Jace said that he is willing to swear on his life or the bible that he will stick with James if James helps him get through this week. Jace said that there is a rat in the house and he has to figure out who it is. James’ only piece of advice for Jace was that the people that he trusts the most are the ones that he needs to watch out for.
8:00-9:00 PM: James told Audrey that Jace was catching on to her but he tried to deflect the attention on to others by telling Jace to question those close to him. Audrey confronted Austin and said that she is hearing that him and Jace have been pulling people aside to campaign and saying that they will target her. Austin said that that is untrue. Audrey advised Austin to lay low since it appears that people are trying to get her fired up at him. Audrey then confronted Jace about saying that he is coming after her. Jace said that hasn’t mentioned anyone’s name and is just saying that he wants to find out who backstabbed him. Jace said that he will reveal his thoughts on the house during a house meeting. Audrey said that’s good and later encouraged Jace to start the house meeting. Jace asked Audrey to start it with him since she keeps coming to him with these issues. Audrey refused to do so.
Audrey said that she does not want to take the fall for this. Jace pointed out that he is the one going home. They continued the back and forth, raising their voices at each other. Things eventually calmed down. Jace told Audrey that he likes her and this is tough for him. He pleaded with Audrey to tell him who is telling her things, because that may be the person that is screwing him over. Audrey refused to name names. She suggested that Jace speak to everyone one on one in order to see what is going on. Afterwards, Jace told Jason that he doesn’t think that Audrey is the one that is telling everyone everything and pretending to be his friend, though he did not know who that person is. Austin later told Jace that he still thinks that Jace needs to blow Audrey’s game up if he can do so without exposing him or Liz.
10:00-11:00 PM: Audrey, Austin, Clay, Shelli and Vanessa found time to meet up in the HoH room to solidify their alliance. They discussed that they cannot let it get out that they are working together. Vanessa said that there should be no issue until late in the game, as there are so many people outside of the alliance to target. Vanessa said that she badly wants this alliance because she need to know who will be loyal to her. Vanessa created the alliance name “Sleeper Cell” for them. After people cleared out, Clay told Audrey and Shelli that he still sees their core as the three of them, Jeff and Meg. He figured that they should stick together at least until Da’Vonne is gone.
11:00-12:00 AM: Jeff and Liz chatted in the storage room. Jeff said that he doesn’t want Liz to talk to Audrey about anything he says, because he doesn’t trust Audrey. Liz said that she is not working with Audrey and that she has not even been approached by her. Liz said that Austin is working with Audrey. She also said that Jeff already knows that Austin said Jeff’s name, so she is not even going to lie about that. Liz told Jeff that she hopes that she can trust him, cause she doesn’t think that she can trust Austin anymore. Jeff said that he believes that Audrey is the reason that Austin doesn’t like him but it is too late to fix it and he can only help one of them out, so he chose Liz. Jeff said that he will do what he can to keep Liz off of the block but he will need Liz to do a favour for him at some point down the road, even if it comes at the expense of Liz’s best friend. Liz agreed.
12:00-1:00 AM: James had come up with a song for his veto ceremony speech to Jase. He chose not to use it. However, Jace found out about the song. When Audrey, Meg and James were chatting in the HoH room, Meg revealed that Jace knew about it and told it to her. James was concerned by that and wants to know who the snitch is. James said that if he finds out that it was Clay he will make it his mission to send him back to Texas. Clay, Da’Vonne and Jason were eventually brought up to the HoH room and filled in on the situation. James said that someone in the group is a rat. He pointed out that he took bullets from Jace, not throwing anyone under the bus, so he doesn’t understand why it’s so hard for others to do the same. Clay and Da’Vonne denied having told Jace anything. While some suggested that it may be smart to ask Jace who told him, Audrey kept saying that they should not do so. She said that they just got a clean slate this morning and should not mess with the numbers that they have. Jason eventually spoke to James alone and told him that it was Audrey that did it. Meg joined them and agreed that it was Audrey. They didn’t know what they should do about it. James said that he will tell Audrey that he is dropping it, trying to make her less concerned. That is what he eventually did, though Audrey felt that people were still acting weird around her.
