BB17 Day 22
July 9, 2015
Last night, Julia revealed to Vanessa that she is Liz's twin. They discussed who to align with and how to try to make the twins seem less suspicious. Details on that here (2-3 AM).
9:00-10:00 AM: First thing this morning, Julia and Vanessa got out of bed. Julia headed up to the HoH room to introduce herself to Clay and Shelli. Vanessa waited in the bathroom to talk to Austin. Julia told Clay and Shelli that she has been in the house since Monday afternoon. Julia said that the twins have to survive five evictions in order for them to enter the game. Clay said that hopefully they can keep deflecting the target on to someone else until that point. Julia said that they would be an extra vote and would be very loyal if they can get in to the game together. Julia said that Austin and Vanessa are the only people that they have been loyal to, which is why she told Vanessa last night. Clay and Shelli filled Julia in on the inconsistencies in the stories in order to help Julia and Liz cover their tracks. Julia said that she knows that she is skinnier than Liz and needs to put on some weight. Clay said that Liz is more bubbly. Julia said it’s because she is not Liz. Clay told Julia to try to stick around one of them, Austin or Vanessa when she can, since they can help out when people are grilling her about details that she doesn’t know. Julia said that she will be switching spots with Liz at some point today.
Austin met Vanessa in the bathroom. Vanessa told Austin that Jeff cannot be trusted, because he is targeting Austin as soon as next week. She also said that they are done with Audrey, since she is trying to flip the house to save Da’Vonne and then place the blame on the two of them and Liz. However, Vanessa said that they cannot let Audrey know that they do not trust her. Vanessa revealed that Liz is a twin and that she confirmed it to her last night. She explained that Clay and Shelli know and it will be the two of them, Clay, Shelli and the twins working together. Vanessa said that they will have a Final 4 set up with both pairs within that alliance. Vanessa mentioned that it could be a lost cause with the twins but they are going to try to protect and help them. Vanessa also assured Austin that her Final 2 deal with him is legit, adding that he is in every single one of her alliances. Vanessa told Austin not to talk to Liz about any of this stuff, since people are always watching her.
Austin then made his way up to the HoH room to talk to Clay and Shelli. He said that he heard that he cannot trust Jeff. Shelli said that Jeff knows too much about too many people and he can use that against them. Austin asked if he needed to be worried about Jeff targeting him this week. Clay didn’t think so, expecting that he would go after Audrey first. There is some concern that Audrey and Jeff are working together though. They discussed that they need to get Audrey out this week. As for the twin reveal, Austin said that Julia looks a lot different now that he thinks about it, but he didn’t ever think that it would be possible that there were twins. Austin wondered why she didn’t come to him sooner, as he could have helped her out by filling her in on what happened while she wasn’t in the house.
10:00-11:00 AM: Audrey spoke to Austin and told him that Da’Vonne tried talking to her again last night, saying that everyone thinks that she has the power and that everyone wants her out. Audrey said that Da’Vonne offered not to come after her if she keeps her. Both Audrey and Austin said that Da’Vonne told them that she has four votes and they would be the fifth one, though she would not say who her votes are. Audrey said that it makes more sense for her to go along with it than to have Da’Vonne blow up on her. Audrey mentioned that Liz told her that she is voting to keep Da’Vonne. Austin assured Audrey that Liz will not do that. Audrey then went to Clay and Shelli, telling them that Da’Vonne is telling people that everyone thinks that she has the power and that she has five votes to stay. Audrey said that Da’Vonne asked her to be a backup vote but would not say who had the power or who her votes are. Clay said that Da’Vonne confronted Liz and asked her if she told Audrey that she has her vote, and Liz said no. Audrey said that she wants to confront Liz in front of people but she doesn’t want to start something. Audrey said that she doesn’t get why Liz would lie. Clay said that Da’Vonne doesn’t have the votes, so sit back and let her go. Shelli asked why Audrey is so concerned about the Da’Vonne thing when she should be the person that wants her out most. Audrey said that’s why she is concerned. Shelli told Audrey that people are saying yes to Da’Vonne’s face but they aren’t actually voting for her.
Vanessa told Da’Vonne that she feels like she is getting caught in the middle of some major thing. Vanessa said that she is very afraid but she may be able to help her with the votes to stay. Da’Vonne said that she knows who has the power and Meg is not going to stay. Vanessa said to tell that person to cancel out her vote then. She said that as a person she wants to vote for Da’Vonne but she doesn’t want to get caught in the middle and create a target on her back. Da’Vonne said that the person already locked in the votes that they are cancelling out, cause Vanessa confirmed her vote yesterday. Vanessa said that she did not confirm it and told Da’Vonne that she is scared. Vanessa explained that she is being forced in to situations where she is going to have to lie and it will hurt her game. Da’Vonne said that Meg will not do anything in this game. Vanessa pointed out that it’s the people that are with Meg that she is afraid of, not Meg herself. Vanessa asked Da’Vonne to give her a reason to keep her. Da’Vonne told Vanessa that she will fight for her and be a vote for her, unlike Meg who will stick to the other side. Vanessa said that they have no reason to come after her right now unless she flips the vote. Da’Vonne said “that’s what you think”, adding that her and John aren’t as safe as they think.
2:00-3:00 PM: Da’Vonne spoke to Meg and said that she asked for votes but did not slander Meg in any way. Meg said that she did the same thing and knows that Da’Vonne did not say anything bad about her. They agreed that it sucks to be on the block together. Da’Vonne said that she is 1000% sure that she is out of there. Meg said that she is not. Da’Vonne asked Meg to please look out for Jason, cause the two of them are all that he has got. Meg began crying, saying that she does not even know how she will get through a speech tonight. They hugged before ending their talk.
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction show, it was revealed that Da’Vonne cancelled out the votes of Becky, Jackie and Jeff. Da’Vonne was the evicted by a vote of 7-2. Audrey and Jason were the two votes to evict Meg. Rob Gronkowski announced that there will be a week long party and that there will be no have-nots. The HoH competition then took place. The houseguests played “Gronk Pong” and got one shot, with the two with the highest scores becoming HoHs for the week. The scores were as follows:
Austin 28, James 23, Liz 23, Vanessa 23, Audrey 17, Jeff 14, Clay 6, Meg 1, Becky 0, Jackie 0, Jason 0, John 0, Steve 0.
Tiebreaker Round: Vanessa 52, James 35, Liz 22.
Austin and Vanessa are the two new HoHs for the week.
7:00-8:00 PM: Jason told Meg that he knows that he will be one of the nominees, since the two HoHs are the people that he has not talked game with. Jason told Meg that all of his eggs are now in her basket, since he knows that he is at the bottom of the alliance with her, James and Jeff. Meg said that those guys will cut her for each other as well. Jason said that Meg is her Da’Vonne now. A short while later, Jason was speaking to Clay and Meg and said that he wonders if there is a way to expose the twins if it looks like one of them is going to be the target. He added that after his most recent diary room session, he knows for a fact that it is true that Liz is playing with a twin. Jason told Clay and Meg about how Audrey went in to the diary room last night and then returned trying to save Da’Vonne. He thought that she could be America’s Player and have been given instructions to save Da’Vonne. Clay asked if the argument between Audrey and Da’Vonne was staged. Jason said that it was definitely not, since Da’Vonne doesn’t play those games.
Austin mentioned to Clay that Jeff was so depressed when he won, even though they were supposed to be boys. Julia then spoke to Austin and asked if he knew about her being a twin. Austin said that he knew something was different since he has different connections with them both, but they fooled him. Julia said that she cannot believe that no one filled him in on the rumour. Austin said that makes him even more suspicious of what is going on. Julia said he knows what is going on. Austin then said that he feels like Jeff is the one guy trying to get him out of there. Julia agreed, saying that Vanessa told her that last night. Austin said that he wants to backdoor Jeff, not Audrey. He didn’t understand why Jeff is coming after him when they could have worked together. Jeff checked in with Austin, who assured him that they will be good this week. Jeff said that he was a bit unsure about what Vanessa would do, since he doesn’t talk to her much. Jeff hoped that Audrey and Steve would be the targets.
8:00-9:00 PM: Vanessa told Austin that she feels like she knows what they should do. She said that she has some really good ideas and they will only need about 10 minutes to talk. Austin said that he is worried about the Jeff situation. Vanessa said that he is a target. She thought that it would be best if she were the one to nominate him, though she said that it would need to be a backdoor. Vanessa said that her plan involves making sure that James, Jeff or Jason leave this week, with Jason being the third option. Austin asked who her number one target is. Vanessa said if she is playing personally it would be James but if she is playing strategically then it is Jeff. Austin said that he doesn’t want to nominate Steve or John, because he only wants to put people up from the other side. Vanessa agreed. Vanessa said that she wants to find out who had the power of the last laugh. She said that Jason will know and they will make him a deal that if he tells them they will not nominate or backdoor him. Vanessa thought that it would be a good idea for her to stay HoH if possible, since Austin could compete again next week. Austin agreed. He also said that it would let him continue to pretend to be buddies with Jeff and James, since he can act surprised if Vanessa goes after one of them. As for Audrey, Austin felt that they needed to sit her down and tell her that she needs to stop what she is doing. Austin said that she is making it really easy for them to target her but it would be stupid of them to do so. Vanessa agreed. She said that Audrey would not be likely to put them up, plus she is someone that is actually trying to win competitions. Vanessa told Austin that they can get really far in the game with their new alliance. She said that Clay and Shelli are great allies to have since they are going to win things. Austin agreed.
10:00-11:00 PM: Audrey spoke to Vanessa and said that she is concerned about Clay being more with the other side than with them. She said that she does think that Clay will do what Shelli wants, and Shelli definitely likes their side the most. Vanessa said that she feels a loyal vibe from both Clay and Shelli but it doesn’t mean that they aren’t going to build relationships with other people. Audrey asked if Vanessa has any advice for her this week. Vanessa said that they don’t want to give people any more reason to throw her name around, so Audrey needs to take this week to breathe easy. Vanessa said that Audrey is safe this week. She did say that there may be a backdoor plan in place and she will let people believe that it is Audrey that is being backdoored. Austin chimed in and said that they will be the next to go if Audrey leaves, so they obviously don’t want that.
Liz returned to the house. She headed straight up to the HoH room with Austin, Clay and Vanessa. They all began telling Liz about the differences that people are noticing between her and Julia. Liz was excited that Austin and Vanessa are in power this week, saying that she can finally breathe this week. Liz said that Jeff is the last person that she wants to talk to. Julia filled her in on how Jeff has been questioning her in order to try to catch her. Liz said that she will be weirded out talking to people now. Vanessa suggested that she not talk to too many people tonight. Austin told her that she can stay in the HoH room. Austin spoke to Liz alone and asked why she didn’t tell him about being a twin. Liz said that when everything got crazy the other day, Julia was crying to her in the diary room and said that she wants to tell Austin but wants Liz to be the one to do it. Both Austin and Liz agreed that they have a stronger connection with each other than Julia has with Austin. Liz told Austin that she will need his help. He assured her that he will do whatever he can to protect her.
11:00-12:00 AM: Shelli made her way up to the HoH room to talk to Liz. Shelli said that this is so awesome. She told Liz that she met her sister. Liz thanked her for what she did for them, because Julia called her a life saver. Shelli told Liz that she cannot wait to hang out with the two of them together. Liz wondered how to handle the situation, questioning if she needs to tell people anything. Everyone told her that she cannot tell anybody and that she has to lie if she is questioned about it. Shelli asked Austin and Vanessa if Audrey is the target this week. Austin said no way and that there is a bigger plan in place. Shelli questioned why they are not targeting Audrey. Austin said that they will be the next targets if Audrey is gone. Austin told Liz, Shelli and Vanessa that he wants their alliance with Clay and Julia to be called “The Sixth Sense”. After people started clearing out of the room, Liz told Vanessa that she wants James and Jeff gone. Vanessa said that the good news is that they do too.
12:00-1:00 AM: John spoke to Becky, James, Jackie and Jeff that he noticed a while back that Liz has a crown on her “#9” tooth. He said that he wants to get a close look at this Liz in order to see if she has it, because he has noticed some differences at times. The guys then headed up to the HoH room and were staring Liz down. Vanessa eventually started up the game talks. She told John that she is not targeting him and she could see them working together. John mentioned that he could do something for Vanessa if she needs. She pointed out that he had done something last week. John said that he would prefer that over being put in the same situation that Meg was put in. In the other HoH room, Austin and Jason discussed some theories about a possible America’s Player. They have been questioning Audrey on that note. Austin eventually told Jason that he will not be nominating him this week and hopefully Vanessa wont either. They then switched rooms. Austin told John that he does not want to use him as a pawn. John was happy to hear that. He told Austin that targeting Audrey is the easy move to keep people happy this week. Austin agreed but said that he is worried about what will happen after that.
Meanwhile, Vanessa asked Jason if he knows who had the last laugh power. Jason said that Da’Vonne had it. Vanessa questioned why she didn’t cancel out James’ vote. Jason said that James promised Da’Vonne a sympathy vote. Vanessa said that she may have gotten that, though Jason explained that he thinks that Audrey was the one to do it, since she seems to be an America’s Player. Jeff pulled Austin aside and told him that Liz mentioned that Austin noticed that he was concerned when Austin won HoH. Jeff clarified that it was not that at all. He said that he is worried about Vanessa, not him. Jeff then told Austin that there is a conspiracy theory going around about Liz. Jeff hesitated but then told Austin that the theory is that Liz has an identical twin. He told Austin that half of the house believes it is true. Austin acted shocked. Jeff went over all of the evidence. Austin agreed with Jeff on nearly all of it, making it seem like he agreed that Liz has a twin. Austin did mention that they could use it to their advantage, since Liz would be scared and would be grateful that they protected her. He also said that she would be an extra vote. Jeff agreed.
1:00-2:00 AM: Becky and Vanessa made a deal not to target or nominate each other, at least until jury. Vanessa also brought up that Shelli likes Becky and it may be possible for the three of them to work together down the line. Becky agreed. Downstairs, Jeff told Austin that it’s cool that they have been able to bond over the podcast. Jeff suggested that they need to think about who they want to work with moving forward. Jeff mentioned Austin, Vanessa, Jackie and Liz as options. Jeff then went to John to tell him that Liz is on to them and knows that they are acting weird around her. He said that the whole house has made it too obvious. Vanessa spoke to Steve and asked him about what was going on with him and Da’Vonne. Steve admitted that they both idolized Danielle Reyes and it led to them creating a Jason and Danielle type alliance on Day 2. However, Steve later found out that Da’Vonne told people about it. Steve asked who Vanessa is targeting. She said that she has a couple of targets in mind. Steve suggested that targeting Audrey would not be the best option, since there are bigger fish to fry. He felt that targeting someone from the inside group would be better. There were discussions about going after Jeff or James. They also talked about potentially working with Jason in the future. Both were on board with that.
2:00-3:00 AM: Austin told Liz that part of him wants to trust Jeff and Jackie and work with them, while part of him thinks Jeff needs to go this week. Liz reminded Austin that if Jeff or Jackie had won HoH this week it would be completely different. Austin then went to Vanessa and told her that Jeff is either really good or he is coming over to their side. Vanessa said that Jeff is the male Audrey and pointed out that these people are not on their side. Austin said they sound so nice though. Becky then took her turn talking to Austin. He told her that there is a 0% chance that she goes up. Austin said that he would like to work with Becky. He mentioned that taking out Audrey would be exactly what the insiders want them to do, so he has to take that in to consideration. Becky said that she wants Audrey out but will support the decision that he makes. Austin said that James and Jeff seem to be trying to manipulate the house and breaking them up will change everything.
3:00-4:00 AM: Austin and Vanessa discussed their nominations. Austin said that he could nominate Jason and Meg, saying that they were in on the plan to backdoor Jace in week one and he does not want to nominate people that were not in on it. Vanessa agreed. She said that she could nominate James and John in that case. Vanessa mentioned that they also could put James and Meg together. Austin thought that they could win the Battle of the Block then. He preferred to have James with John, since John may be willing to not try. Vanessa said that in the worst case Jason would go home. Austin said that does nothing for them, while Vanessa said he is not with them. She did admit that she is cool to work with Jason if he does end up staying. If James and John remained nominated, they figured that they could get the votes to evict James from Austin, Liz, Clay, Shelli, Becky and Steve. Austin said that they need John to throw the Battle of the Block. They discussed sending James home if those two remained nominated, possibly backdooring Jeff if they get the chance. Vanessa wondered what they can offer him. She thought that they could offer him the truth about the twins and protection a couple of weeks in to jury. Austin mentioned that John is doing something with Jeff, so that could be a problem. Vanessa then said that they could say that Audrey is going to be backdoored. Liz said that she is really worried that John is catching on to the tooth thing. They figured that it may be best to offer him the truth in exchange for him throwing the competition. Liz was concerned that John is working for the other side and will tell them, since he was so obviously trying to get her to smile to see her teeth. Austin discussed that they need to solidify an alliance with Steve tomorrow as well. They begun talking about nominations again, throwing around different combinations of the previously discussed four nominees. They ended up circling back to Austin nominating Jason and Meg, with Vanessa nominating James and John, though options continued to be discussed. Vanessa said that she wants to talk to Clay and Shelli about the plan. She said that they will not be happy that they are not taking Audrey out but they started it by targeting Da’Vonne.
