BB17 Day 25 - Jeff is the target
July 12, 2015
11:00-12:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Vanessa spoke to Liz about everything that went down last night. She explained that she first confronted James about lying to her, saying that the plan to backdoor Jace did not come about until the last minute when Audrey took advantage of the situation and got Jace nominated. Vanessa said that she told him that she doesn’t want to be the person to take out the transgender person only to find out that she was not behind anything that people are accusing her of, while she does have evidence that James is lying to her. Vanessa said that James then admitted that he lied and said that he will understand if she targeted him. Vanessa said that she respected how James handled it and it was the only thing that he could have said to get her to forgive him. Vanessa said that Jeff then thought that it would be a good idea to run to Clay and say that Austin is behind all of this and they need to take him out next. Vanessa said that Austin asked for her permission to go off, but she wanted Clay and Shelli to confront Jeff about saying that he wants to break up Clay and Shelli. Austin said that he asked James if Jeff is throwing his name under the bus and James told him that he can’t lie and that Austin has to watch his back with Jeff. Austin said that he then confronted Jeff about it and Jeff said that James is the one throwing him under the bus. Austin said that Jeff then denied saying that they have to go after Shelli. Vanessa then explained that she entered the room and Jeff accused her of trying to start an alliance with her, when it was really Jeff that tried to start it. Vanessa told Liz that she said that she let Jeff know that he sealed his fate and then she walked away. Vanessa said that she later confronted Jeff about whether or not he lied and he admitted to it.
12:00-1:00 PM: Steve made his way up to the HoH room and was filled in on everything by Vanessa. Steve then went outside to ask John how much he knows about last night. John said that it seems like the script has flipped and Audrey is safe. Steve suggested that John talk to Vanessa later because she wants the house to know what’s going on. Steve said that basically Jeff is throwing everyone under the bus and calling people out left and right. Steve said that Jeff got caught by multiple people that he was telling conflicting stories to. John asked if any of it involved him. Steve said not that he knows of but Jeff’s pecking order is Audrey, him and Becky. John told Steve that he is good and all that he has to be beware of is the “creep status”. Steve told John that he will have some enemies if he does not use the PoV, so he asked him to please use it. Steve figured that Jeff may approach John and try to talk him in to not using it.
2:00-3:00 PM: Vanessa told Shelli that last night’s blowup accomplished exactly what they wanted. Vanessa pointed out that Jeff now has no credibility at all, since everyone knows that he lied and he also threw everyone in the house under the bus except for John. Shelli mentioned that throughout the conversation with Jeff he made eye contact with Clay for 95% of it and was barely speaking to her. Vanessa said that it’s because Jeff wants her out of the picture so that he can play with Clay. Shelli agreed. Shelli informed Vanessa about the alliance that was formed between her, Clay, Jackie, Jeff and John during her HoH. She said that they have not gotten back together since but Jeff and John have a connection so they may not have John’s vote. Vanessa said that they have Steve’s vote and they will get Becky’s as well. Shelli continued talking about Jeff, saying that last night he tried to claim that he said that herself and Clay need to be broken up just because he was trying to protect the alliance. Shelli said that it makes no sense that he would be doing that to protect an alliance that has only met once. Jeff came up and asked to talk to Vanessa. She asked him to come back in 15 minutes. Vanessa told Shelli that she will hear Jeff out but there is nothing that he can say to change her mind. She said that she doesn’t even think that he is a good person anymore.
Jeff spoke to Vanessa and said that he was confused as to what was going on when they were attacking him last night. Vanessa told him not to accuse her of attacking him, otherwise he can leave right now. Vanessa said that Jeff attacked her and she defended herself. Jeff said that she is right about not attacking him. Vanessa went on to explain how well James handled things when she confronted him about having lied to her. As for Jeff, she pointed out that he severed her trust last night and she heard him throw his best friends under the bus. For that reason, Vanessa said that she feels okay with sending him home, while she didn’t feel okay sending Audrey home. Vanessa pointed out that Jeff threw her under the bus and she doesn’t know of anything that Audrey has done to her. Jeff admitting to having a deal with Clay. He said that the things that he did were being done in order to protect his alliance by deflecting. Vanessa said that he chose to give her a persuasive argument for splitting up Clay and Shelli, so what kind of job is he doing protecting them if he is suggesting that she target them. Vanessa said that Jeff is her number one target after what he did last night, despite not being on her radar before that.
3:00-4:00 PM: Jeff told Vanessa that he was excited about potentially working with her and he asked that she speak to Austin. He explained that he used Austin as the go between rather than talking to her directly, since Austin and Vanessa are linked. Jeff said that he was after Austin at one point but they squashed things and then Austin has been one of the people that he trusts the most ever since. Jeff brought up Audrey’s name as someone that could be manipulating this situation. Vanessa assured him that Audrey had no part in it and did not ever bash Jeff to her. She said that Jeff should blame her for doing her due diligence or blame himself for his paranoia. As for Audrey, Vanessa said that she could not send the transgender person home without solid evidence against her, being that Vanessa is a gay person and supports her cause. Jeff told Vanessa that he pinned things on her last night because they were in a group setting and the very people that he was trying to protect were there. Vanessa told him to stop lying, because she knows that he threw her under the bus preemptively to cover himself and it had already gotten back to her. Jeff said that’s fair enough.
Jeff told Vanessa that he doesn’t believe that the vote will be clear cut, so he will continue to play and see what he can do. In the event that he stays, Jeff said that he would not hold this against Vanessa and would be open to working together down the line if she is able to regain her trust in him. Vanessa said that it would take a while but a sign of his trustworthiness would be to stick to his word about not holding this against her and not coming after her if he stays. Jeff went outside to tell Jackie that Vanessa is not willing to send Audrey out, due to being lesbian and Audrey being transgender. Jeff said that he is 99% sure that he is going to be nominated. He told Jackie that this may be his final week in the house. Jeff said that he should have went along with Vanessa’s alliance when she approached him about it. Jeff asked Jackie if she thinks that he can get the votes over James. Jackie said that people are telling her that it is not looking good but he will have her vote.
4:00-5:00 PM: Jeff spoke to Austin, telling him that he wanted to work with him and Vanessa but the people in his alliance wanted to wait until Audrey was out of the picture to bring them in. Jeff said that he will give Austin more information on this alliance as the week goes on, which will hopefully clear some things up. They then began discussing the situation that Jeff is now in. Jeff said that he feels as though Vanessa was looking for any reason to put someone other than Audrey on the block. Jeff admitted that he screwed himself by being too friendly with too many different people. Austin asked Jeff if he will have the votes if he votes for him. Jeff said yeah. Austin informed Jeff that the told James that he would vote for him last night in the heat of the moment, though he said that he would think about it. Jeff asked if the whole confrontation last night was pre-planned. Austin said that it was not unless he got played. Jeff said that something felt very off. Austin agreed that all of the dominos seemed to suddenly fall in to place. Jeff said that he will have to do some serious damage control, because Vanessa wants him out of the house.
5:00-6:00 PM: Jeff talked to Austin and Clay, saying that he is going to blow up some games if he is about to get sent home. Jeff said that he doesn’t want to go against James but he has too much info not to. Jeff questioned Clay about him and Shelli turning on him, because both Vanessa and Jackie hinted at that. Clay said that that’s not the case. Jeff pointed out that Clay and Shelli can trust him to help their games more than they can trust James to do the same. Jeff said that he doesn’t know if he will have the votes or not. Clay said that it will likely be split. After Jeff left, Clay told Austin that James told him that Jeff was talking about getting him or Shelli backdoored just yesterday. Clay said that he believes what James told him. Austin brought up that Jeff is telling him that there is an alliance that he is in with Clay but he wont name any names. Clay said that Jeff brought him, Shelli, John and Jackie in one night but they did not make up a name and have not met up since. Clay asked Austin if the conversation with Jeff did indeed happen, in which Jeff told him that they cannot bring Clay in until Shelli is out of the picture. Austin said that it definitely did. Clay said that’s all that he needed to hear.
Jeff told Audrey that everyone is telling him that he is the male Audrey. She said that it’s a bit of an insult and they could have come up with something better than that. Jeff let her know that he knows how she has been feeling now and how hard it has been on her. Audrey told Jeff that she thinks that there are some opportunists in the house that targeted her may be the same ones at work against her. She said that she understands how Jeff feels and that it is a hard thing to recover from. Audrey advised Jeff to lay low because there is a lot of attention on him right now. Jeff agreed. He said that he is now starting to question some of the people that he has put trust in. Audrey assured him that Clay and Shelli were not against him. Outside, Clay, Jason and Meg discussed what they think will go down if James and Jeff end up on the block together. They agreed that James will stay over Jeff and that James is the more trustworthy of the two. Meg said that James does not deserve to go home.
6:00-7:00 PM: Shelli went to Vanessa to tell her that Steve knows about the twins. She said that Julia slipped up and said to her that Steve calls them “Miss Nolan” because he does not want to call them Liz if it is not actually Liz. Vanessa said that she will handle it and will ask Julia if she has told anyone else, which Shelli said would let them know if they can trust her. Vanessa then went to Julia and told her that she slipped up to Shelli and that she now knows that Steve knows about the twins. Julia said that she cannot believe that she said that. They decided that they will tell Clay and Shelli that Julia told Steve this morning because he was on to her. Vanessa then reported back to Clay and Shelli. Clay said that everyone knows and it’s just a matter of it coming directly from her mouth, so it doesn’t seem like a big deal to him. Vanessa suggested that they tell Steve that Clay and Shelli know as well, explaining that she found out and just told them about it now. Clay said that he doesn’t think that Steve needs to know. He figured that Steve would put it together and figure out that they are working together. Vanessa said that Liz and Julia make mistakes and will slip up about them knowing. Clay still didn’t back down from his stance, saying that Steve does not need to know. They then discussed that Jason needs to be the next to go.
Clay and Vanessa talked about how Audrey needs to realize that they cannot be seen together all of the time. Clay also said that they need to be smart about knowing when to cut Audrey. They agreed that evicting her during a double eviction would be ideal. Clay said that he doesn’t want Shelli or Vanessa to get their emotions involved when it comes to Audrey. Clay believes that Audrey will win the game if she makes it to the end, after everyone hated her the whole time. Audrey then interrupted them. Vanessa told her that people are starting to say that they are working together with Austin. Vanessa explained that it will be tough but her and Audrey cannot be seen together all of the time if she is going to successfully clean up Audrey’s image. She said that she needs to seem unbiased for that to work. Should people continue to see them together all of the time, Vanessa said that people will feel that she is being biased towards Audrey and that it will no longer work.
8:00-9:00 PM: Jeff told James that he is feeling as though people are ignoring him. James agreed that things are weird. James told Jeff that he has told Jackie to vote for Jeff. Jeff said that he figured that Jackie would have done that anyway but he is going to tell her that she needs to do what its in her best interests. Meanwhile, Vanessa was up in the HoH room talking to Becky about everything that happened last night and why she is going to nominate Jeff. Becky asked if Vanessa wants her to vote to evict Jeff. Vanessa said yes and she expects it to be a near unanimous vote. Vanessa told Becky that it should be easy for her to vote him out since he is gunning for her. Jeff then spoke to John, who told him that things are not looking good. Jeff said that it seems like Vanessa was nitpicking, looking for anything that she could use to nominate him. John assured Jeff that he will have his vote and that he will make that public if Jeff ends up on the block. Jeff hoped that he could get votes from Clay, Shelli and Jackie. He said that John could possibly talk to Becky and that he could talk to Austin. John advised Jeff to not do too much talking at this point.
10:00-11:00 PM: Clay and Shelli were out by the hot tub. John joined them and discussed possibly giving Jeff a vote. Jeff then came by and said that he feels like once again Audrey is winning and he doesn’t understand why. He then told the others about his conversation with Audrey. He said that she came up to him and said that this week is so poetic due to the irony of it all. He also said that Audrey was questioning him about having staged his fight with Jason. Jeff told John that Audrey threw him under the bus, saying that he told her that Jeff was planning on rallying a group to head up to the HoH room and threaten Vanessa that she needs to backdoor her or else she will be next. While this was going on, Audrey and Meg were inside clearing the air about what happened yesterday during their chat with Vanessa and also last week when Audrey approached her about votes possibly switching. Meg said that she knows that Audrey was trying to save her when she came to her, so she doesn’t want things to be weird between them. Audrey agreed.
11:00-12:00 AM: The houseguests played a game of truth or dare. The live feeders were given the option between making them play truth or dare or making them play charades. All of the houseguests decided to take on dares. They each took one turn accepting a dare.
12:00-1:00 AM: Audrey went to Clay and Shelli to clarify some comments that were made during her talk with Jeff. She said that Austin told her that Clay was upset about them. She told them that Jeff claimed to be her biggest advocate and that he saved her along with Clay and Shelli. Shelli laughed at that. Shortly thereafter, Jeff told Clay and Shelli that if he leaves they should consider pulling Austin in. Jeff discussed that he has been put in a bad position and he didn’t want to campaign against James. Jeff mentioned his talk with Audrey and that he helped Audrey to stay. Shelli questioned how he did that. Jeff said that he was part of the group that decided to let her continue on in the game. Shelli told Jeff that he didn’t really have a choice, given that she didn’t put Audrey on the block. She said that Jeff would have voted her out if she was on the block, so he can’t really argue that he saved Audrey.
Jeff had a talk with Austin, trying to get him to help him get through to Vanessa and possibly change her decision. Austin said that he would go talk to her. Vanessa said that Jeff is nuts if he thinks that he has any chance of not going up. She said that she will never change her mind. Jeff asked Jackie if she thought that he should talk to Vanessa again. Jackie said that it can’t hurt. Jackie thought that they would need to find something that Audrey has said about Vanessa. Meg figured that it wouldn’t matter, since Vanessa doesn’t want to believe anything anyway. Jeff pointed out that he hasn’t done to Vanessa what Audrey has done to Vanessa. After Jeff left, Jackie and Meg discussed that Jeff will not have the votes if he ends up on the block.
1:00-2:00 AM: Jeff went to Vanessa to make another campaign pitch. He said that Audrey called a 6 AM meeting one night in order to tell people that Vanessa is America’s Player and is the one causing the chaos. Vanessa said that Audrey told her about all of that the day after and that they squashed it. Vanessa said that she won HoH and is the one that has to live with the consequences, so she is going to make the decision. Vanessa explained that Jeff is almost as guilty as Audrey when it comes to all of the things that she is accusing her of. She said that he publicly slandered her name and attempted to frame her for something that he did. Jeff questioned if getting him or James out is really better for Vanessa’s game than getting Audrey out. Vanessa called Jeff a brilliant and great player, so it will help her game to get him out. Jeff understood and said that he couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t try one last time. He asked Vanessa if she would be okay with him staying over James. She said that she 100% would. She wished Jeff luck.
