BB17 Day 26 - Jeff is nominated in John's place

July 13, 2015

10:00-11:00 AM: Feeds went down briefly. The houseguests took part in a luxury competition. Meg won. As a result, Meg will be taking a cruse on Gronk’s party ship in February.

11:00-12:00 PM: John spoke to Jason about voting James out. He said that he is going to do so because Jeff has had his back and has done a lot for him in this game. He wanted to know what the best way to approach that would be. Jason said that what he did with Da’Vonne was make it clear to the entire house that he would be voting to keep her. John said that he would start talking to the houseguests about his vote, beginning with James. He did not want James to think that this vote means that he is against him. John then spoke to Clay about how he plans to vote. John said that it may create some separation between them and throw some people off of their alliance. John then brought up that Becky could be a good replacement for Jeff in their alliance. Clay said that himself and Shelli feel good about Becky and are on the same page that he is. Clay and John agreed that Jeff’s downfall in the game was that he talked too much. John also believed that part of this decision was made due to Vanessa playing emotionally. He said that Vanessa was only making the move in order to be a good person.

Vanessa spent the morning worrying about her speech. She did not know what to say when she nominates Jeff. She asked Julia for help and then spoke to Shelli. Shelli told her that she should not be too harsh, since there are some people in the house that do not want Jeff to be nominated. Shelli said that Vanessa needs to make it clear that the move is being made because the lie that Jeff created could have made her a target. Shelli informed Vanessa about how Austin is acting like buddies with Jeff now. Vanessa said that that’s not okay. Shelli felt that Austin needed to realize that what he is doing is making Vanessa a bigger target. Austin then came up to the HoH room. Vanessa said that she wants everyone to share the responsibility of this move. She told Austin that she is bathing in blood and agreed to remain HoH this week to protect the alliance and mainly him. Vanessa told him not to make it seem as though he is a victim of what she has done. Feeds then went down for the veto ceremony.

1:00-2:00 PM: John used the Power of Veto on himself. Vanessa nominated Jeff as the replacement nominee. John went to Vanessa and told her that he will be voting to keep Jeff because Jeff has not done anything to him personally. Vanessa said that she appreciates John’s honesty but she thinks that it is best for his game if Jeff is out of the house. John said that he would not feel right voting Jeff out when he did not throw his name under the bus. Vanessa said that he didn’t to her but he may have to others. John said that he would reconsider if he ends up hearing differently from someone else. Outside, Jeff was talking to Jackie, Jason and Meg about how the one thing that he didn’t want to have happen was to be backdoored. Jeff said that the whole fight that he had with Vanessa had nothing to do with her and she is trying to make it relevant in order to justify things. Jeff called Vanessa a hypocrite for saying that she does not want to send innocent people home and then she is sending him home. Jackie said that Vanessa is destroying her game and that everyone will be going after her and her friends that have yet to be nominated.

Jeff campaigned to Austin, saying that he felt it was better for Austin to keep him around in order to have someone to fight for him. Jeff said that as of now he has Austin, Jackie and John for sure. He said that Jason and Meg are torn. He thought that he would have Becky and he can hopefully get Clay and Shelli as well. Austin asked Jeff to keep reporting back to him so that he knows if things flip. Austin said that he feels as though Vanessa is being manipulated by someone but he does not think that Audrey is the one behind it all. Jeff agreed. Jeff said that somebody seems to be a rat. He thought that Jason could be someone that is shady, while Steve is someone that is playing the game a lot harder than people think. Jeff thinks that Steve tries to listen in on conversations and then uses what he hears against people. Jeff said that he will be forever indebted to whoever helps him.

Clay and Jason were discussing the vote. Both agreed that they are close to James and Jeff but James the more trustworthy of the two. Meg came by and told them that she does not know what to do. Jason said that James is more trustworthy in the long run. Meg pointed out that Jeff is so against Vanessa’s side now that he would definitely be after them. Meg questioned whether or not James would still be a target for the other side. She said that he is someone that will win the game. Jason said that he believes that James is still a target but Vanessa saw Jeff as the bigger threat. Clay then went to Shelli to say that they need to reinforce that James is the more trustworthy of the two. Shelli told Clay that she feel as though Steve could be the one leaking information to Audrey. She said that they need to keep an eye on them. Becky quickly came by and said that she is game for getting Jeff out if they are too. They agreed to talk more later about it. Shelli explained to Clay that Jeff has been trying to blame her for creating the alliance that he started between the two of them, Jeff, Jackie and John. She also said that Jeff is going around saying that he is going to expose stuff. Shelli admitted that her vote was up in the air prior to finding out about all of this from Vanessa, but now she feels no sympathy towards Jeff.

2:00-3:00 PM: Audrey told Shelli that her and Vanessa are the two people that she trusts the most, though she doesn’t feel like she can completely trust Vanessa. Audrey explained that Vanessa asked her yesterday if she would choose her over Clay and Shelli at the end, so she had to say that she would take Vanessa. Audrey felt that Vanessa has it in her mind that people will break up Clay and Shelli. She also thought that Vanessa was not going around clearing her image like she claimed that she would. Shelli said that it’s hard to expect anyone to do that, seeing as how dangerous it would be for their own game. Audrey also thought that Vanessa has set herself to have a side alliance with Jason and possibly Meg. Audrey said that she doesn’t think that Vanessa will work against them but they need to keep these things in mind. Audrey then brought up that Austin is becoming the new Jeff, planting seeds that there is a couple in the house and that Shelli nominated Da’Vonne. Shelli argued that Jeff did these things strategically and Austin does so without even realizing what he is doing. Audrey said that she feels as though she is the only one that will genuinely work with Audrey and Clay until the Final 3. Audrey said that she is fine with fighting it out at that point, because she thinks that she can win the last HoH competition. Audrey felt that Clay has made it evident that he only cares about his game and Shelli’s game. On the other hand, Audrey felt that Shelli had shown signs of looking out for her and thus she feels indebted to Shelli.

4:00-5:00 PM: Meg told Jason that she fears that James will win the game if he gets far. Jason agreed but said that everyone in the house has that potential. Jason felt that it was to their benefit that someone was striking at Jeff before they have to pull the plug themselves. Meg said that’s true. Jason mentioned that numerous people feel that there is something going on between Jackie and Jeff that they do not know about. He figured that the BB Takeover twist that brought them in to the house didn’t end at that, because they could have picked any random paid from The Amazing Race to be there. There have been theories about them dating or being exes. Jason also brought up the theory that they could get an additional prize for making it to the end together. Jason also felt that this move will bring them closer to Clay and Shelli. He said that they could use that foursome for the time being, though both agreed that Clay and Shelli cannot be left together for too long. Meg feels more uneasy about Shelli, while Jason feels uneasy about Clay.

Up in the HoH room, Audrey and Vanessa were talking. Clay came up there and made a loud comment when he opened the door and saw Audrey. This started a back and forth between the two. Clay said that she lives up in the HoH room. Audrey said that she doesn’t but Clay gets people talking about it when he makes comments and draws attention to the room. Clay said that Steve was the only one inside at the time and that he wouldn’t have done it otherwise. Audrey also did not like that Clay had called her the new Steve in front of Jason and Meg yesterday. Once Vanessa left, Audrey, Clay and Shelli spoke. Audrey said that she feels as though she is the only one that will stay true to them and go to the Final 3 with them. She pointed out that others will be nervous about the couple and will not want to leave them in the game that long. Clay said that he has a hard time trusting Audrey, though he wants to and wants to get back to what they had before. Audrey said that she feels the same way about Clay, since he stood by Jeff even though she tried to warn him about Jeff. Audrey said that her actions in week one were never against Clay or Shelli and that she was only trying to ensure that Clay saw what was going on with Jeff and realized that his loyalties should be to her and Shelli ahead of Jeff. They continued to talk it over and Clay said that he did not realize this until now. Shelli said that Audrey is making good points, such as when she said that Clay did some similar things when he said that he would cut Shelli if needed, even though he didn’t mean it.

5:00-6:00 PM: Jason told Clay that he is expecting “Helga” (Liz) to return to the house shortly. Clay asked what the play is when it comes to the twins. Jason said at this point the twins seem to have fallen off of the radar and they will have to deal with them both being in the house. Clay said that the good thing is that they aren’t big game players. Jason pointed out that they wont be as strong as long as people are picked off from the other side before they enter the house. Shortly thereafter, Liz made her way back in to the house and headed up to the HoH room. Shelli and Vanessa were in the HoH room and quickly told her about a few things that Julia did over the past 24 hours. Audrey and Austin then entered the HoH room. Shelli said that she had a revelation that Jeff was the first to tell her that she cannot trust Audrey. Vanessa said that Jeff was the first to tell her that as well. Austin said the same. Vanessa mentioned that both Audrey and Jeff wanted to get close with Clay and Shelli, making them both have concerns about each other.

6:00-7:00 PM: Jeff told Jackie and James that he feels as though this was all planned for longer than people think and that it was not a last minute decision to nominate him. They discussed that they would be fine with getting Vanessa out next if they cannot get rid of Audrey. Jeff said that it says a lot that Vanessa believed Audrey more than she believed everyone else in the house. Jeff said that it was embarrassing that Audrey had to pull “that card”, in reference to the transgender card. He said that it is something that must be looked down upon. He explained that it should be about equality and that using that card is the opposite of equality. James likened it to what would happen if he pulled the race card. Jeff gave Jackie some advice about who to work with. If clay and Shelli voted him out, Jeff said that she should work with John, Becky and Meg. He also listed James and Jason as possible options. He also mentioned that Austin likes Jackie and she should deal with it and work with him anyway.

7:00-8:00 PM: Austin asked Liz how long she thinks that she will be in the house for. Liz said that she will be there until Friday morning, since she has not competed in an HoH competition since the first night. Jeff then made his way over to talk. Liz left. Jeff said that he is expecting this vote to be split voted, based on what he is hearing from people. He told Austin that people are upset with Vanessa and are not listening to her on this one. That being said, Jeff told Austin that he would still not target Vanessa if he stayed. Jeff said that he definitely needs to talk to Liz about her vote. He figured that James hasn’t built any rapport with her. Jeff said that this Liz is different and is not the one that is good to talk to. He said that he is still skeptical of the twin things. Austin said he feels the same way and it may be because you don’t want to be made a fool of. Jeff said that he has backed off on it and is done with it, cause he really doesn’t care that much. Austin said he has bigger fish to fry.

9:00-10:00 PM: Austin, Liz and Vanessa were up in the HoH room discussing making deals with James. Vanessa told Austin that he can make a deal for the two of them, offering his vote in exchange for James keeping them safe next week. Vanessa said that Liz can make the same deal. Liz said that she wants to go after James next week. She said that it would be a perfect time for her to win and have all of the cockroaches come up to her to plead their case. Outside, Clay and Jeff were discussing that the twins seem to have switched today. Jeff said that he would have to look in to it, since the one that was there was the one that doesn’t like him. Jeff then begun campaigning to Clay. He said that he feels confident that he has Clay, Shelli, John and Jackie on his side. He told Clay that he hopes that he stays, because he will be changing up his game and only sticking with the people in his alliance. Clay told Jeff that him and Shelli have lost some trust in Jeff and have backed off a bit. Clay said that he believes that James would own up to things before Jeff would. Jeff mentioned that James did throw Clay and Shelli under the bus when he called them a power couple, and it was not the first time that he has done that. Jeff told Clay that it says a lot that he made a Final 2 with him over Jackie, so he wants Clay to remember that. Jeff said that he trusts Jackie with his entire game and told Clay that she is someone that is good for Clay and Shelli. Clay said that he would think about things and will let Jeff know when he decides what he is going to do.

10:00-11:00 PM: James said that he feels as though there is a group forming between Liz, Austin, Vanessa and John. Jason said that Steve is in it as well. James thought that Audrey could be in on it too. Jackie and James figured that Becky would be on their side more so than the other side. Jeff brought up that this Liz is different than the other one. Meg and Jason confirmed that she switched today. Jackie questioned if it was the fat one. Jason said the thicker one. Jackie did not think that she looked big. Jason said that he will be his whole game on it that the twin twist is a fact. Jason figured that Liz’s alliance knows about it and is using it to their benefit in order to have an extra number when the second twin comes in. Jason suggested that they need to get as many people out from that side as possible for that reason.

12:00-1:00 AM: Austin told Liz that he would like to blindside Jeff with the vote, just because he wants him to be shocked for some reason. They discussed that they may need to bring someone else in as their own side person. Austin suggested Becky, which is someone that Liz was fine with including. They debated whether or not they should tell Becky about the twins and make it seem as though she is the only other person that knows. Austin thought that they could wait until after the HoH competition to do it. He said that they could bring both Becky and John in, which would give them a solid group of five once both twins are in the game. As for the vote, Austin expects that it will be a landslide to evict Jeff. He said that they should still approach James on Thursday and tell him that Jeff has the votes if they vote for him, so they need James to make them a deal to keep them safe if he wants their votes.

1:00-2:00 AM: Vanessa told Steve that Clay and Shelli did not want him to know that they know about the twins at this point. This concerned Steve but Vanessa assured him that those two are not targeting him, though they may be planning on using him as a pawn. She said that she knows who they are targeting. Steve said that he is really nervous about those two. Vanessa asked if he would target them. Steve said that it’s a big move and he does not know. Vanessa suggested that Steve make a one week deal with Shelli. She figured that she was more likely to win HoH than Clay would be, since Clay may throw it. Steve also brought up that Liz is flirting with him. He told Vanessa that he can’t get in to a showmance, because it will put a target on him. Vanessa pointed out that Liz is likely a flirty person and is doing that with everyone.

2:00-3:00 AM: Vanessa and Audrey spoke in the HoH rom. Audrey said that she could see the Clay and Shelli showmance working out to their benefit since it can be a shield for them, though she figured that Jason would be the only one that may target them. Audrey figures that John will want to stick to a guy over the girls. They discussed that Austin may have to be the one to approach him. Vanessa discussed the best game players in the house with Audrey. Vanessa suggested that they are two of the best and would be a good combination. Vanessa felt that Jason is the person that they need to worry about being a strong strategic game player. Audrey said that he has a really strong social game and is calculating. Vanessa said that Jason will either be someone to work with or a big threat. Audrey said that Jason is likely connect to James and Meg, two people that she didn’t see as threatening. Vanessa asked why Jason hates her so much. Audrey figures that it is because of Da’Vonne and what she has said about her. She thought that Jason’s loyalty to Da’Vonne would prevent him from ever aligning with her. Vanessa said that they can keep him in mind as someone to try to work with if their other allies get targeted.

Vanessa told Audrey that there has never been a female Chilltown and she thinks that they have what it takes. She pointed out that Clay and Shelli would never pick them over each, nor would Austin and Liz. Audrey said that she completely sees the benefit of working with someone like Jason but she doesn’t know if he will see it. Vanessa said that she can work on it. Vanessa thought that Meg would also not be the worst person to work with. Vanessa asked what kind of person Audrey would want to get to Final 3 with. Audrey said that she wouldn’t want to get there with a Jason but they would be in a good spot if they got there with a Meg or a Liz. Vanessa thought that James was possible and could be a good option. Audrey thought that he was too likeable and they could not beat him in the Final 2. Vanessa asked what Audrey thinks about starting another alliance outside of Sleeper Cell if the other members don’t know about it but Sleeper Cell remains their top priority. They both agreed that Clay and Shelli are doing that. Audrey pointed out that it’s not not strategic of Clay and Shelli to be so obvious about how close they are. Vanessa agreed. Both agreed that Clay and Shelli are loyal to them but they need to keep in mind that they will choose each other at the end of the game.

Liz told Vanessa that she doesn’t know what to do, because she doesn’t want Austin to get mad at her if she sleeps with James again. Vanessa told Liz that she needs to figure out if she likes Austin or not, because he is crushing hardcore. Vanessa said that it needs to go one way or another. Liz said that she doesn’t want Austin to not be there. She said that he has the best personality of any guy there. Liz mentioned that she does not like long hair or a beard though. Vanessa said that he would shave the beard, though Liz figured that the hair was there to stay. Liz said that she is in love with his personality. Liz was concerned about Austin having a girlfriend and also that they are on national television. Vanessa said that it’s a very casual girlfriend. Austin then made his way up to the HoH room and broke up the conversation. Vanessa asked them if they could choose between working with Clay and Shelli or Steve and another person, what would they choose. Austin said Steve and someone else, since Clay and Shelli have their own agenda. Austin said that he trusts Shelli more than Clay.
