BB17 Day 28

July 15, 2015

10:00-11:00 AM: Vanessa asked Austin if anything happened with Liz. Austin said that he doesn’t know if she wants him to be more forward or not. He said that he will put an arm on her when they are in bed but she doesn’t do the same. Vanessa told Austin that she feels bad because Steve thought that Liz liked him. She said that he is extremely naive with women. Austin hoped that Steve would not make a jealous game move over it. Vanessa told Austin that Steve is not mad at him or anything but he had a crush on Liz and she wanted Austin to know. Austin mentioned that Steve can go for Julia, though Vanessa pointed out that he has no realistic shot. Vanessa brought that early on Liz liked Jeff and Julia liked him, according to Julia. Now, Vanessa feels that Austin has a shot with either of them. She informed Austin that Liz seems more genuinely in to him this week, adding that she really digs his personality. Vanessa figured that Liz took longer to get to know Austin, so since Julia is more of a conversationalist. She did tell him that the whole girlfriend situation is something that is holding Liz back. Austin said that he may need to explain the real situation to Liz then.

11:00-12:00 PM: Austin and Vanessa discussed the possibility that Clay and Shelli could flip their votes and save Jeff. They ultimately decided that it’s best not to think that way, since it shouldn’t happen. Austin mentioned that they could always bring Jason and Meg in if Clay and Shelli flipped their votes, since he really believes that those two are voting to keep James. Vanessa told Austin that the secret alliance that Jeff is mentioning is between him, Jackie, Clay, Shelli and John. Vanessa said that it does not sit well with her that Clay and Shelli made that alliance last week without letting them know about it. They agreed that they can do the same thing without feeling bad about it. Austin thought that they could bring in someone from the other side, such as James or Jason. Vanessa pointed out that they would not have anyone left to nominate at that point.

Vanessa mentioned that bringing in Audrey can be a good option for them. She explained that both Audrey and Austin are viewed as scary players, so if they are in a group together it may deter people from coming after them, out of fear of the retaliation from the remaining members. They then talked about how Clay may have been lying to them about some things and may just have wanted to get Jeff out of the house. Despite that, they agreed that Jeff needs to go regardless. They feel as though Clay is more responsible for these things than Shelli is. Austin said that Clay and Shelli have made alliances that kept them safe with everyone. He told Vanessa that he would be fine with a Jason taking Clay out next week if he were to win HoH. They said that they will have to trust Clay and Shelli for now, though they do not expect that he will try to win HoH at this point. Austin figured that they will vote to evict Jeff, since they would be outing themselves and drawing a line in the sand if not. Austin told Vanessa that he may try to pull more information out of Jeff before he goes, trying to see who his votes are since he is claiming to have three.

12:00-1:00 PM: Austin told Vanessa that he has come to the conclusion that he needs to talk to Liz before things start growing on his end more than she will allow them to grow on her end due to the road block. He explained that the road block is that Liz does not know about the situation in his personal life. He felt that it needs to be cleared up so that things can continually to develop organically, otherwise there is a chance that things will be ruined between them. Vanessa agreed. Austin said that it’s a scary situation to put yourself out there like that, though he felt that he may have to talk to her today. Vanessa asked Austin if he would be okay if Liz left next week, since he is expecting that she will be targeted before him. Austin said that he would not be okay emotionally but he would be okay mentally. He said that there is nothing else that he can do, but he felt that that possibility made it more important for him to talk to Liz soon. Vanessa thought that they would be screwed if Liz left, since they are losing two numbers. Austin said that Clay and Shelli would then float away as well. They discussed that Becky and Jackie could be their backup plan for alliance members if the twins get evicted.

2:00-3:00 PM: Austin asked Liz when she thinks that she is switching out next. She said Friday morning. Austin told her that he wants to talk to her about something before she goes, because he wants to clear some stuff about him. Austin explained that he wants to clear things up about his girlfriend, because he feels as though they are connecting and he likes it but he does not want Liz to feel uncomfortable. Austin said that it was not a clearcut situation and he said coming in to the house that he had a girlfriend but he wasn’t expecting to do anything other than play the game while in the house. He told Liz that he enjoys the the time that he spends with her and getting to know her. Feeds cut to a different room at that point. Once feeds went back on Austin and Liz, they were talking game with Vanessa. Austin pointed out that having a better relationship with Meg is another way to get closer to James. Vanessa pleaded with Liz to win HoH. She said to go for it like hers and Julia’s lives are on the line. Liz said that they are on the line. Liz said that Clay and Shelli better be trying their hardest to win HoH as well. Austin headed out and Vanessa asked Liz how things are going. Liz said that Austin talked to her about his girlfriend. Liz told Vanessa that Austin was saying that he is not on good terms with his girlfriend and that they have been going on different paths for a while now. Liz said that Austin told her that he came in to the house saying that he had a girlfriend as a game strategy, because he didn’t want people to think he was looking for a showmance. Vanessa asked if he is in a relationship or not. Liz said that Austin is but he made an agreement with his girlfriend not to let each other hold each other back. She told Vanessa that she doesn’t know what to do, since Austin still does have the girlfriend back home.

3:00-4:00 PM: Vanessa continued to question Liz about Austin, asking her what she wants out of this. Liz explained that she likes Austin but does not want to hook up with him on TV. She said that she really liked Jace but she would not have even kissed him. Liz said that she likes how things are now and she does not want people to think that they are the next showmance and target them. Liz pointed out that Julia is her #1 and she has to do whatever it takes for her, which takes away her ability to focus on a showmance. She reiterated that she is not there to fall in love. Liz did say that Austin has the best personality ever, though it is in the back of her mind that her parents don’t like long hair or tattoos on a guy. Vanessa assured Liz that her parents will be fine with whatever makes her happy. Vanessa then informed Liz that Steve came to her and said that he thinks that she likes him. Vanessa said that she explained to Steve that Liz is just a flirty person in general. Liz thanked her and said to get that idea out of Steve’s head. Vanessa said that she doesn’t want Steve’s feelings to get hurt, so keep that in mind when interacting with him.

Audrey, Austin, Liz and Vanessa chatted in the HoH room. Audrey said that she would be mind blown if Jeff managed to stay in the house. Austin said that would mean that too many people backstabbed and it would rock the boat. Audrey pointed out that it would confirm who is on Jeff’s side. Audrey asked if Steve promised that he would vote the way that Vanessa wanted. She said yes but that doesn’t mean anything. Audrey mentioned that if Jason votes the other way they will know that it was him and not Steve, but if both vote that way they will know that Steve lied to them as well. Audrey asked Vanessa if she should mention Sleeper Cell in her goodbye message, despite Liz being in the room and not part of the alliance. Austin, Liz, Steve and Vanessa later went over the votes. They discussed that Jackie and John are votes for Jeff to stay, while everyone else but Becky should be votes to evict Jeff. They were unsure about which way Becky would vote. There were some questions about Audrey as well. Vanessa figured that the third vote that Jeff is claiming to have could be from America’s Player.

4:00-5:00 PM: Once Austin and Vanessa were alone, Vanessa filled him in on her talk with Liz. She said that it went well and Liz felt better about it. Vanessa said that Liz seems to have an issue with kissing in front of the cameras but he seems good aside from that. Austin asked if Liz seems like she is in to him. Vanessa said as far as she can tell. Vanessa pointed out that Audrey mentioned Sleeper Cell in front of Liz. Vanessa said that it’s the first mistake that Audrey has ever made. They agreed that Liz did not catch on. Vanessa then brought up that Audrey is definitely America’s Player and she is trying to pin it on Steve. They discussed that Audrey said that if a vote doesn’t go their way then it is going to be Steve that flipped. Austin said that they have got to replace Audrey. Vanessa said that they may need to do something about Audrey next week, since they cannot count on her vote. Vanessa then questioned if there could be Team America again, since Audrey, Clay and Shelli would definitely be America’s choices. Vanessa quickly dismissed that idea, though they both said that they feel strongly that Audrey is America’s Player. Vanessa told Austin that she thinks that they need to get Audrey out, since she is an x factor that they cannot control. Austin said that they will need to bring someone else in to the alliance. Vanessa suggested that Liz could be brought in to Sleeper Cell. Austin said that they already have that with Sixth Sense. He suggested bringing in someone with Steve. They agreed that John might be the one. They also said that they like Becky.

5:00-6:00 PM: Vanessa spoke to Becky about her vote. Becky said that she heard from multiple people this week that Jeff has been throwing her name around as a target in the near future. She said that that is all that she needed to hear in order to make her decision about her vote. Vanessa then brought up her theory about Audrey being America’s Player. Vanessa explained that Audrey somehow concluded that if there is an extra vote thrown Jeff’s way that it will be from Steve. Becky said that she thinks that Audrey is just crazy and likes to create paranoia. Whether or not she is America’s Player, Becky did not know and said that it doesn’t matter to her game. Vanessa mentioned to Becky that they need to make it through a couple of more weeks and then they can solidify an alliance. Afterwards, Vanessa spoke to both Clay and Shelli about her theory that Audrey is America’s Player. Vanessa said that she wants to work with Audrey but she is genuinely concerned that she is America’s Player and cannot control her vote. Clay said that he loves Audrey as a person but she makes him nervous as a game player, so he doesn’t want Shelli or Vanessa to get too emotionally attached to her. Vanessa said that Audrey was off of her game today and mentioned Sleeper Cell in front of Liz. Vanessa also discussed that she was transparent in her attempt to blame Steve in advance for a potential extra vote given to Jeff. Clay said that he would talk to Jeff to try to figure out who the third vote is that he thinks that he has. Elsewhere, Jeff checked in with John to see if he had heard anything new. John said that people really like James and it is not looking good for Jeff.

6:00-7:00 PM: Vanessa told Clay and Shelli that Audrey has been trying to make her paranoid about working with them. Shelli said that Audrey did the same with her in regards to work with Vanessa. Vanessa said that Audrey mentioned that she had a deal with Clay and Shelli before Sleeper Cell was made and that she knows that she has no shot at getting to the Final 2 with them since they are a showmance. Meanwhile, Liz told James that keeping Jeff around is not good for her game. She said that James will have her vote this week but she would like to make a deal for the next week that James does not come after her. James promised that he would not nominate or backdoor Austin, Liz or Vanessa next week. He said that he has bigger fish to fry. Liz said that she cannot trust Jeff and she has not heard anything about James to make her feel the same way about him. Liz suggested that they may be able to work together, since James does not have a big mouth.

Clay asked Jeff if anyone else has confirmed that they are voting for him, aside from Jackie and John. Jeff said that Becky is voting for him as well. Jeff told Clay that he believes that his Liz would vote for him but she is terrified of Austin. He mentioned having a good conversation with Steve last night too. Jeff said that Steve is someone that they can work with and trust if he stays in the house this week. Clay asked Jeff to admit to him that he has entertained the idea of getting him or Shelli out. Jeff said that he did entertain the idea but the idea never came from him first. He said that it originated from Jason. Clay said that Jeff still should not have went along with it and should have deflected it on to others. Jeff then admitted to being invited in to an alliance with James, Jason and Meg. Clay said that Jeff should have brought that information to him. Jeff said that he doesn’t like to spread things unless he believes that it will immediately impact the people that he is with. Jeff did say that being on the block has made him realize that he needs to play the game differently and give the people in his group his 100% trust. Jeff pointed out that Audrey has made bigger mistakes than he has and Clay and Shelli have forgiven her. Jeff clarified that he does trust Shelli and is not threatened by Clay and Shelli being together, since he has been hiding the fact that he is with Jackie. Jeff said that he trusts Jackie 100%. Jeff told Clay that he wouldn’t even be upset if Clay took Shelli to the Final 2 over him, since he has Jackie in the house.

8:00-9:00 PM: Vanessa asked Austin if he is 100% sure that Jeff is not making any moves right now. She said that she is getting a weird feeling that something is going on. Austin assured her that Jeff is done. Austin then began discussing that he feels that James can be trusted and could be a good person to bring in to the alliance in place of Audrey if they confirm that she is America’s Player. Steve spoke to James to ask him for two week’s safety in exchange for his vote this week. James agreed to that deal, so Steve said that James will have his vote tomorrow. James said that he would not have nominated Steve even if they didn’t make a deal. He also said that he does not want to nominate John again.

9:00-10:00 PM: Clay spoke to Shelli and Vanessa about his talk with Jeff. He said that Jeff talked about having votes from Jackie and John, then he also talked about Becky and Steve but neither one of them have promised him a vote. Clay thinks that Jeff only has two votes. Vanessa asked if Audrey has promised Jeff a vote. Clay said that there was no mention of that. Shelli asked if Jeff thinks that Clay is voting for him. Clay told her that he said that he would have to talk to Shelli. Clay then mentioned that he is 90% sure that he is voting Jeff out. Vanessa was not happy to hear that and told him that he better be 100% sure. Vanessa said that her trust with them will be blown if they do not vote Jeff out, after she put Jeff up because the group wanted her to. Clay and Shelli said that they will vote Jeff out but Shelli clarified that they did not make her nominate Jeff.

Shelli spoke to Clay, telling him that he cannot be making comments like he is 90% sure that he is voting Jeff out. Shelli told Clay that he needs to pick a side and stick with it. She suggested that the strong alliance is the one with Vanessa, not with Jeff. Clay clarified that he said that because he makes his decisions along with her and he wanted to be sure that she was not having any doubts. He said that he never doubted that Jeff needs to go. Meg then joined them and was questioned about who she trusts more, James or Jeff. Meg said that she trusts them both but trusts Jeff a bit more. However, she said that she knows that Jeff talks a lot and she understands what is going on. Clay informed her that Jeff said that the talks about splitting up him and Shelli originated from James, Jason and Meg. Clay also said that Jeff told him that those three approached him to work together. Shelli said that she expects to be the target for Jason, since she took out Da’Vonne. Meg assured her that Jason wants to work with them and has not mentioned targeting them at all to her. The conversation ended with everyone having an understanding that the plan as of now is to evict Jeff, though nobody flat out said it.

10:00-11:00 PM: Clay checked in with Vanessa to assure her that she has nothing to worry about with regards to his vote. He said that he doesn’t know why he said the “90%” thing. Vanessa made it clear that it cannot happen again and that Clay and Shelli would have been upset had she said that she was 90% sure that she was evicting Da’Vonne last week. Vanessa went up to the HoH room and told Austin and Liz that she got in a huge fight with Clay, since he had the audacity to say that his is 90% sure that he is voting Jeff out. Austin questioned what Clay was hesitating over. Vanessa said that it’s because he is friends with Jeff. Austin didn’t understand why this is an issue after he said that he would vote Jeff out all week. Vanessa said that she knows every aspect of Clay and Shelli’s games and she will out them if they cross her. Austin mentioned that Audrey, Clay, Shelli and Jackie are together in a room and may be doing something that they don’t know about. Austin said that Clay and Shelli are aligned with everyone and need to be exposed. Austin threw out the idea of nominating Audrey and Clay if he wins HoH, bringing James, Jason and Meg on board since they are more trustworthy. Audrey joined the others in the HoH room and asked what is wrong. Vanessa told her about Clay saying that he is 90% sure about evicting Jeff. Audrey said that she knew that she was getting a weird vibe from Clay. Shelli made her way up to the HoH room and got questioned about what Clay meant when he said 90%. Shelli assured them that Clay will be voting to evict Jeff, though she went and got Clay so that they could talk to him themselves. While Shelli was gone to get Clay, the others discussed that they believe that Shelli is on board with the plan but they are concerned with Clay. Clay came upstairs and told everyone that he is on board with the plan to evict Jeff.

11:00-12:00 AM: Shelli spoke to Jeff and told him that she wanted to work with him from the start but she felt that he excluded her and only wanted to talk to Clay. Jeff said that he did not want to make Clay feel as though he was stepping on his toes. Jeff admitted that he made a mistake in assuming that it was okay to use Clay as the middle man in their conversations. Jeff admitted that he has made some other mistakes, such as talking too much and to too many people. He told Shelli that if he stays he will go back to his initial strategy, which was to find a group of people and roll with them. Jeff also opened up about how he no longer wants to pretend that he didn’t come in there to play the game with Jackie. Jeff said that if Clay and Shelli want to put in the effort to fix the broken component, him, then he can help them get far in the game. Jeff said that him and Jackie will be ready to go to battle with Clay and Shelli. Should Shelli want to send him home, Jeff said that he has made some mistakes and it would be justified. Jeff began tearing up. Shelli hugged him and said that she has a lot to think about tonight.

While Shelli spoke to Jeff, Clay went upstairs to talk to Vanessa. They cleared things up about his 90% comment and then Clay revealed that he has been really irritated tonight because of Audrey. He said that Audrey continuously makes comments in a joking manner that actually reflect her true feelings. He said that Audrey keeps talking about backdooring him and splitting him up from Shelli. Clay felt that the way that he feels about Audrey is the way that Shelli feels about Jeff, since they are trying to free the other up to work alone with them. Clay said that Audrey feels indebted to Shelli for being the one person to stand by her, yet she knows that Shelli will not feel that same way towards her as long as Clay is in the game. Clay and Vanessa agreed that Audrey will need to go but they discussed that she can be used for the time being. Shelli joined them and was filled in on how Clay was feeling about Audrey. Shelli talked to Clay and Vanessa about her talk with Jeff. She said that she cares for him on a personal level but on a game level it is too late.
