BB17 Day 29 - Jeff is evicted; Liz and Shelli win HoH

July 16, 2015

10:00-11:00 AM: Jeff spoke to Liz and said that Austin obviously hates him and has been throwing him under the bus hardcore. Jeff told Liz that he is 90% sure that he will be leaving tonight, because he thought that Austin would vote for him but it’s clear that he will not. Jeff said that he wanted to clear things up with Liz, because he never talked bad about her like she had heard through the grapevine. Jeff clarified that he said that he would prefer to work with Liz over Austin, since Austin squealed on his friends immediately. Jeff then told Liz that he is 100% convinced that she has a twin. Jeff said that it’s fine because he is leaving anyway and it was not something that would impact his game. Jeff told Liz that she is the nicer twin and her sister is cool but not as down to earth. Jeff wished the twins the best and told Liz that there is no reason for her to admit to anything. Jeff said that nobody will have the balls to confront her about it. Jeff mentioned that he has been studying Liz for a while, looking for any marks that cannot be replicated. He brought up that John has been talking about one of the twins having a crown on her tooth. Jeff then told Liz that she has been fun to flirt with and that he would have done it more if not for the psychopath that is clinging to her. Liz said that it sucks because she does not feel the same way about Austin. Liz told Jeff that she wants him to stay over James, since he would want to keep her around. Jeff warned Liz to watch out for Vanessa, saying that she is shady.

6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Jeff was evicted by a vote of 7-4. The votes to evict James were Jackie, John, Liz and Steve. The HoH competition then took place. Liz and Shelli won HoH.

7:00-8:00 PM: When feeds returned, Austin was telling Liz that Becky voted against James because she is part of a trio with Jackie and John. Liz asked who the fourth vote was. Austin said that it came from Audrey because she had to do it, implying that she is America’s Player. Austin, James, Meg and Liz were then in the living room discussing the votes. They all assumed that Audrey would have been one of the votes to evict James. Austin suggested that Becky was the other vote. Meg said that would make sense. In the bedroom, Jason told Audrey that she should be fine this week. Audrey said that she isn’t sure about what Liz will do. Jason said that she will likely come after him because he has been talking about the twin thing. Audrey questioned what the twin thing was, asking if he meant discussions about people switching in and out of the house. Jason confirmed that that’s what he is talking about.

Clay and Austin briefly discussed the votes. They figured that Audrey is America’s Player. They discussed who their biggest threat is. Austin mentioned breaking up the trio of Becky, Jackie and John that voted against James. Clay thought that Jason is someone that is dangerous. Austin pointed out that Jason is after Liz. Shelli then spoke to Clay and said that Audrey is definitely America’s Player. Liz told Vanessa that she doesn’t want to switch places with Julia, like she is supposed to be doing tomorrow morning. She said that she wants to be HoH all week. Vanessa told Liz that they have a lot to talk about because she is almost positive that she knows what happened with the votes. Vanessa told Liz to keep an open mind and she will tell her about it later. Audrey mentioned to Austin, Liz and Vanessa that Jason’s theory is that the votes to evict James were from Becky, Jackie, John and Steve. Audrey thought that he may be deflecting attention away from himself and Meg. Vanessa said that it could be but she doesn’t think that those are the most likely scenarios. She said that it’s concerning that people lied to her face and those people better hope that she never finds out who those votes were.

8:00-9:00 PM: Clay went to Vanessa and told her that he doesn’t want her to think for one second that he voted to evict James. Vanessa said that she doesn’t think that. She suspects that Audrey voted James out and that the fourth vote was from either Becky or Steve. Vanessa told Shelli that she thinks that one vote to evict James was from Audrey. She figured that the other was from Becky or Steve. Vanessa explained that her gut is telling her that it was Becky but her ability to read people is suggesting that it was Steve. Vanessa said that she plans to question Steve again to see if she gets the same read from him. Liz quickly told Shelli that she is switching with Julia tomorrow after nominations. Vanessa asked Audrey if she would wink or something if she is America’s Player, then they could work with that. Audrey swore on her life and her fate that she is not America’s Player. Vanessa told Audrey that a good argument in her favour as to why she is not America’s Player is that she voted last tonight. Vanessa pointed out that there would have been no suspense in that vote since America would have known which way Audrey was voting. Austin and Liz then joined Audrey and Vanessa, revealing that Jeff told each of them that they can trust Becky, Jackie and John. That led to more speculation that Becky voted to evict James.

Vanessa began questioning Steve again. She asked him if he knew who the two people that voted to evict James were, in addition to Jackie and John. Steve said no. She then asked if he knew even one of them. Steve again said no. Finally, Vanessa asked if Steve had any evidence or reason to think that it was anyone in particular. Steve said that he could start guessing but he doesn’t know. He pointed out that it doesn’t make sense to have voted that way when you knew that you weren’t going to be in the majority. He questioned what the people thought that they were going to get out of it. Vanessa suggested that it was a loyalty thing towards Jeff, though the person also felt some loyalty towards her and had to lie. She said that the other person is likely America’s Player and had no choice. Vanessa told Steve that she does believe him that he voted to evict Jeff. Steve said that he would have been foolish not to, since Jeff was throwing his name around. Vanessa told Audrey that she doesn’t think that Steve voted James out, because he pushed for Jeff to be backdoored instead of Audrey. Vanessa figured that Becky had to be the one that voted James out.

9:00-10:00 PM: Audrey told Clay that Vanessa is swearing that Steve was not the vote to evict James, but she really thinks that it was. She explaiend that she has a gut feeling and last night Steve was being really sketchy about his meeting with Jeff in the have-not room. She pointed out that Vanessa’s stories are also changing, since she told her a few days ago that Steve said that the would evict her or anyone from the inside, yet now she is saying that Steve didn’t ever say that he would vote to evict her. Clay and Vanessa then went off to the have-not room to chat. Vanessa said that due to the America’s Player vote being uncontrollable, you need to have two people on the block that you are happy with leaving. Vanessa then said that she is almost 100% sure that Becky is the one that lied. Vanessa mentioned that Becky tried to convince her not to campaign for James. She also said that Becky tried to convince her to convince James not to campaign for himself either.

Clay and Vanessa also both agreed that Audrey is America’s Player. Clay said that she always tries to deflect that blame on to Steve. Vanessa told Clay that the one good thing is that Audrey is always tips her hand every week as to which way she is required to vote. She explained that Audrey always gets paranoid around Monday and it becomes obvious who she will vote for. Vanessa said that she would be able to convince Liz to backdoor Audrey if they wanted, but she does not think that it is the best time for it. Clay thought that James, Jason and Meg needed to be broken up before they targeted Audrey. Vanessa said that she would be fine with that. They agreed that Audrey is a number for them even though she makes them nervous. They talked about how they should bring John in this week. Clay said that it’s the perfect time since John trusted him most after Jeff. Vanessa said that John is more trustworthy than Becky, who is not true to her word and is more calculating than she seems. Clay said that his #1 target this week would be Jason. Clay figured that Shelli would be okay with nominating him. Vanessa said that Liz can nominate Jackie. She also thought that both James and Meg needed to be on the block again. Clay and Vanessa thought that the best case scenario would be for Shelli to get dethroned this week.

10:00-11:00 PM: Austin, Liz and Shelli spoke in the HoH room. Austin said that he likes Jason but he is worried that he will come after Liz. Liz pointed out that Jason helped Da’Vonne spread the rumours about her being a twin. Austin was also concerned that Jason would be someone that is willing to break up the duos and make a big move. Liz and Shelli discussed that they do not really want to nominate John again, though Liz pointed out that it would be the least amount of blood on their hands since everyone has done it. Jackie is someone that Liz wants to nominate, since she feels as though Jackie would do the same to her. Austin and Liz brought up that Jeff told them to trust Becky, Jackie and John, which led to speculation that they are aligned. Austin said that Becky and Jackie are a dangerous combination, which Liz and Shelli agreed with.

11:00-12:00 AM: Liz asked Austin and Shelli what they think about Audrey. Austin said that nominating her is an easy move for everyone and could end up being a big waste. Liz said that she feels as though Audrey is gravitating towards their side. Austin agreed and said that her only problem is that she gets too paranoid. Shelli agreed with that. Clay joined the others in the HoH room and said that he thinks that they need to target Jason this week. He also mentioned that he does not trust Jackie. Clay mentioned that Audrey needs to go sooner than later but they should be more concerned about getting the other side out. Liz thought that it would be better to backdoor Jason if he is the target. Austin told her that she could nominate Jackie and Jason or John and Jason, having John throw the competition. Liz said that John would be so frustrated and it’s sad to her that he keeps being nominated. There was more discussion about Audrey being America’s Player. Shelli told the others that Audrey may have gotten Steve to vote James out along with her, so that she could blame the votes on her and Clay if needed. However, they had been talking about Becky being the other vote along with Audrey for most of the night.

12:00-1:00 AM: Clay asked Audrey who her #1 target is. Audrey said Jason. Clay said that his is the same. Audrey suggested that the way to get the least amount of blood on your hands is to nominate Jason with Meg. She felt that the other side could have Becky and Steve on the block. Audrey figured that Jason either has to go up with a weak person or not at all. She suggested that it would not be smart to nominate John, since trust would be lost with him. Clay asked Becky who she thinks voted to evict James. Becky said that Liz spent a lot of time with Jeff, particularly today, so she has been unsure about Liz’s vote. Clay then asked James the same question. James said that he believes that Audrey was one of the votes but he does not know the other. He brought up that Steve shook his hand and told him that he had his vote. Clay didn’t think that Steve would do that and then vote him out. James told Clay that it doesn’t matter to him if Audrey stays or goes. Clay agreed.

1:00-2:00 AM: Shelli spoke to Jackie and said that Jackie is good on her end and will not be nominated by her. Jackie said that she would understand if Liz put her up, since the two of them have not talked any game. Shelli then spoke to Becky, telling her that Audrey is not off her radar as a potential target. Becky said that she was going to reach out and tell Shelli that if her and Clay are wanting to work with Audrey, she will understand if Audrey is not the target and will have to work on altering her mindset. Becky asked for advice on dealing with Audrey. Shelli told her that opening the lines of communication would be a good idea because Audrey would be willing to make a deal. They then discussed the votes and twists. Becky said that she would prefer to have the twins in the game than have an evicted houseguest return. In terms of America’s Player, Becky thought that Steve could be it because America loves his type of person. She pointed out that they loved Ian. As for the votes, Becky discussed her theory that Liz may have been the vote to evict James, since Liz spent so much time with Jeff.

2:00-3:00 AM: Shelli spoke to Vanessa and told her that they need to be very careful about Austin, since he went to Jackie to tell her that Liz may nominate her. Vanessa didn’t think that it was necessarily as big of a deal as Shelli did. Shelli told Vanessa that Becky heard from Jeff that he would catch Liz up on things that she missed while out of the house. She mentioned that Becky therefore believed that Liz could have had enough trust in Jeff to want to keep him around and vote for him. Vanessa suggested that Becky could be trying to deflect attention away from herself. Vanessa told Shelli that she has been thinking it over and she feels as though it may be best for Shelli to remain HoH since it will be tough for Liz and Julia to catch each other up on things. They then discussed nominations. Vanessa asked Shelli who she wants to nominate with Jason. Shelli asked if she can nominate Steve. Vanessa said that she could if it’s all that she has. Vanessa also brought up James as another option.

Clay asked Liz if she wants to remain HoH. Liz said that she does but it will be difficult for Julia to come in there and take over. Vanessa then asked Liz who she wants to target. She said that she is torn between James and Jason for her main target, with Jackie being a secondary target. Austin and Vanessa agreed that James is more trustworthy than Jason. Vanessa said that Shelli is planning to nominate Jason, so Liz could nominate James. Meanwhile, Steve told Shelli that he is sick of everything being his fault. He said that he doesn’t think that there is an America’s Player, because someone could just be throwing a vote out there anyway. They discussed their options for the week. Steve said that targeting Audrey would keep the blood off of Shelli’s hands. Shelli was undecided as to whether or not she wanted to go that route or to stay HoH and make sure that someone leaves that would target her later. When they wrapped up the conversation, Steve asked if Shelli will be nominating him. Shelli said no.

3:00-4:00 AM: Shelli asked John if he had any alliances with Jeff other than the one that she was in with them. John said no. They then discussed Audrey. John brought up that Audrey said that people will make you feel that you are on the inside but you are not. Clay questioned if she was implying that she would target them. John said that she was a little bit. John pointed out that Audrey had a dream about him winning the game and she seems to be after him because of it. However, John said that he thinks that Audrey trusts him. Shelli said that Audrey doesn’t throw John’s name out there. In the other HoH room, Austin, Liz and Vanessa were talking about nominating Becky and Jackie together. James informed Austin that Jackie is downstairs saying that he is untrustworthy. This led Austin to say that he would almost rather have Becky and Jackie remain nominated. Vanessa spoke to Clay and Shelli, relaying that information to them.

4:00-5:00 AM: Austin, Clay, Liz, Shelli and Vanessa met up to discuss the final plans for nominations. Liz had settled on nominating Becky and Jackie. Shelli said that she is no longer sure about nominating Steve after her talk with him. Shelli brought up something that Audrey had suggested before, having her go on the block alongside Becky in order to win the Battle of the Block and be safe. On the other side, they discussed nominating Jason with Jackie. They would then ask Jackie to throw the Battle of the Block. Vanessa was concerned that this plan was aggressive and if they try to control too many things and it gets out it could look bad on Shelli’s part. Vanessa suggested that they go the route of nominating four Becky, Jackie, Jason and Steve, not asking anyone to throw the Battle of the Block. The discussion continued to go in circles before they decided to reconvene in the morning. Shelli spoke to Clay alone and told him that she would like to see Austin get backdoored, though she figured that Liz would be upset with her. Clay said that the other side is down and they should kick them, taking out Jason. Shelli ultimately ended up being undecided on her plan, before heading to sleep.
