BB17 Day 55
August 11, 2015
11:00-12:00 PM: Vanessa told Shelli that she finds Becky to be a really cold person. She said that she is not warm at all and has no kindness. Vanessa pointed out that Becky was so cold to Audrey and she has ice around her heart. Vanessa said that Becky let the people in her group tell her what to do and then she made up an excuse that makes zero sense to justify the move. Vanessa then told Julia that she cannot stand Becky and she does not want to be around her. She said that she finds Becky so cold and she cannot fake it. Vanessa said that Becky owes her an apology, cause the way that she treated her yesterday was so not cool. Julia said that being put on the block and being backdoored deserves an explanation. She pointed out that even James had the decency to talk to Shelli.
12:00-1:00 PM: Vanessa asked Steve if she has his vote. Steve said yeah but he has to find a way to cover it up. He explained that John and Shelli think that he is with them right now, since they are a part of the three that are on the outside of the eight. Steve told Vanessa that he does not want to burn any bridges with John and Shelli. Vanessa told Steve that she can let him know if she has the votes and then he can vote the other way if she doesn’t have them within two hours of the eviction. Vanessa asked if she can count on Steve. Steve asked if he can have until tonight. Vanessa said that she doesn’t have a choice. Steve mentioned that he could say that he made a two week deal with Vanessa while she was HoH, so he has to vote for her. Vanessa said that she is the only person that has given him information since the beginning. Steve agreed. He said that he wants Vanessa to stay but doesn’t see how it can happen. Vanessa said that she believes that it is really possible. Vanessa explained that the whole house will know that her target is Becky and only Becky. She figured that she could get someone from the James, Jackie and Meg group to flip. Steve then went to John to ask if he is sure that Jackie, James and Meg are all voting against Vanessa. John said 100%. Steve brought up that he made a two week deal with Vanessa and he wants to stick to it if his vote doesn’t make a difference. John said that he wouldn’t do it but he has done it in the past, so he understands. Steve wondered if Shelli would be upset. John said that that’s the concern. Steve said that he would talk to Shelli and then it will upset her too much he is not going to do it.
1:00-2:00 PM: Jackie, James and Meg continued their discussion from last night, that it is best for their games to get rid of Shelli. They understood that it is better for Becky’s game to keep Shelli, but it is not the same for them. James said that he doesn’t think that Becky will want to change her mind. Jackie said absolutely not. James asked if Becky would hold a grudge afterwards. Jackie said no. Meg figured that Becky would understand, since it is a logical move. Meg said that people will be more likely to nominate Vanessa than Shelli moving forward. She thought that they should talk to Austin to see which way him and the twins are leaning towards. She said that those discussions cannot happen until tomorrow night. Once Jackie headed to the diary room, James told Meg that it has been confirmed that Shelli took Clay’s sweater back. He said that he was grilled about it in the diary room. Meg said that James is an idiot for sending Shelli’s man home and then wearing his clothes. They agreed that it was childish of Shelli to do. James said that he would have given it back no problem had Shelli asked. They then continued discussing the vote. Meg said that she likes Becky but not enough to risk her own game by keeping Shelli. James asked how long Meg thinks that Becky was working with the other side for. Meg said a long time, since Becky has not been close to them until recently. Med pointed out that Becky admitted that she had questions about them as recently as last week.
2:00-3:00 PM: Meg said that they are not betraying Becky by evicting Shelli, since it’s not like they are trying to vote her out or nominate her. Meg said that they need to talk to Austin. James was annoyed that the decisions always come down to Austin and his allies. Meg figured that Steve would be able to be convinced to keep Vanessa, since he has been feeling bad for her. James asked if Meg thinks that Shelli an Becky are still really good friends. Meg said 150%. Meg said that if Becky really cared about working with the four of them, then she would not send anyone but Shelli home this week. Meg told James that they need to be careful about what they say about Becky in front of Jackie. Meg said that Becky needs to go sooner than later. James agreed. Meg revealed that her ideal eviction order would be Shelli, Vanessa, Liz, Becky, Austin, John and Julia.
4:00-5:00 PM: Vanessa told Julia that Steve has no loyalty. She explained that Steve said that due to the eight person group, Steve doesn’t want to lose Shelli. She said that Steve figures that his chances of going on the block are greater if Shelli is gone. Vanessa told Julia that John, Shelli and Steve made an alliance. Julia wondered how they found out about the eight person group. Vanessa said that they probably found out from Becky. Julia asked if Shelli is mad at them for being in the group. Vanessa said that she explained it to her that she would have the votes to stay based on how the group was set up. Vanessa also mentioned that they were the last ones pulled in and they had no choice but to say yes to the eight person group. Vanessa figured that her only chance to stay was to get Jackie, James or Meg on board, cause then Steve will consider voting for her. Vanessa thought that they could tell Steve that the deal was for last week and it ended once she was nominated. Vanessa that it will now be 3 (Austin, Liz, Julia), 3 (John, Shelli, Steve) and 4 (Becky, Jackie, James, Meg), which is stupid. Vanessa mentioned that Steve may feel the need to vote for her if Austin and the twins make it clear that they will be upset if he doesn’t keep her.
5:00-6:00 PM: James spoke to Austin about the vote. He said that Jackie and Meg don’t really care who goes home and they are more concerned about the double eviction. James said that it’s a toss up between Shelli and Vanessa. Austin said that it comes down to what is the safest scenario for their group. James agreed but said that he does not know what that is. Austin pointed out that Becky decided that she doesn’t want Vanessa there, though he could make a case for either side. Austin said that he is cool with both Shelli and Vanessa but Vanessa has been kind of mad at him lately. James mentioned that Clay and Shelli tried to get Austin nominated. Austin said that it makes him skeptical of Shelli but Vanessa did the same thing two weeks earlier. Austin said that Vanessa has been acting like Audrey the past couple of days. James said that he is screwed if Shelli wins HoH. Austin told James to hear out what Vanessa has to say, then they can talk about it. Austin wondered if Becky would be upset at them if they kept Vanessa. James said that he is not mad at anybody when they flipped the vote on him last week.
6:00-7:00 PM: Vanessa spoke to James. She said that she has been put in this position because she gave her word and stuck to it, while other people chose not to. Vanessa began exposing Becky’s game. She told James that Clay and Shelli brought Becky into a meeting with her and Becky said that she had been waiting for that to happen. Vanessa told James that Becky said that she is shifting from night crew to day crew, she is going to change beds and sleeping patterns. Vanessa mentioned that Becky wanted to target James and she said that he is a sexist. Vanessa revealed that Becky was taking all of information that she got during James’ HoH reign and bringing it straight back to Clay and Shelli. She said that it gets her blood boiling, since that was rat behaviour and Becky should not get to play both sides. James asked if Vanessa can get Austin and the twins on board with keeping her. Vanessa said yes. James told her to get Austin to talk to him if so, because he believes that he could get Jackie and Meg on board. James then went to Austin and told him that he just found out that Becky called him a sexist. He pointed out that he had Becky’s back when she was upset about Audrey calling her a racist, yet she goes around calling him a sexist. James said that he doesn’t see Vanessa as the type of person to make that stuff up.
Vanessa made her way to the backyard, where Austin and James were chatting. She explained that Steve basically told her that he is now aligned with John and Shelli because they were left out of the group of eight. Vanessa said that she doesn’t know if Becky told them about it or how they found out. Vanessa said that Becky will have ties to that group if Shelli is the one that stays this week. She added that Becky is protected with all of the groups in the house, so she is an opportunist and is not someone that you can trust. Vanessa assured James that she will stick to their deal and that she would keep him and one other person safe if she wins HoH. Vanessa made it clear that Becky is her target. She said that either John or Steve would go on the block with her. James told Vanessa that she has sold him on keeping her. Austin said that he is sold as well. Austin told Vanessa to make the same pitch to the twins. Vanessa then went to Liz and Julia, telling them that they can no longer talk strategy with Steve, since he is aligned with John and Shelli. Vanessa then told them about “The Generals” alliance, saying that Becky tried to form it but her and Shelli rolled their eyes and weren’t on board.
7:00-8:00 PM: James got Jackie and Meg caught up on some of the things that Vanessa told him. He said that he knew that Becky was a snake in the grass. James told them that Becky was the one telling Clay and Shelli everything. Jackie said that it was probably both Becky and Vanessa. He told Jackie that Vanessa says that Becky wanted Clay to take out Jackie for her, since she couldn’t do it herself. Jackie asked Austin who he would be after if he won HoH. He said that he is now very worried about John and Steve. Meg pointed out that Becky fully expects them to vote her way and evict Vanessa. Austin said that Becky is safe on all sides and she is in with each group of three. Jackie said that Vanessa is doing the same thing. James mentioned that Vanessa has much more info for them. Jackie questioned why she has so much information. She said that that’s not good either. Meg agreed and said that they can’t keep her around for long either. Austin, Jackie, James and Meg agreed that this could be their last shot to get Shelli out. They discussed telling Becky that they are flipping their votes but they wanted to hold off on that until Thursday.
After Austin left the room, Jackie, James and Meg agreed that they trust him. Jackie pointed out that he has the same intentions as them. James said that it’s pretty much settled that Vanessa is staying. Jackie said that they need to nominate her if they win HoH. In the bedroom, Vanessa told Julia that Steve is the reason that she is on the block. She said that Steve now feels so guilty and that’s why he is scampering so hard and sticking to her. She believes that Steve fed John the info and then he went to Becky with it. Vanessa said that she read it on Steve’s face that he was lying to her and sold her out, when she asked him before the veto ceremony if he knew what was going on. Vanessa said that Steve did this because he wanted to keep Shelli in the game, since he is worried about the group of eight. Vanessa told Julia that Steve should thank her for his whole game, since he would not have any information or any alliance if not for her. Austin joined them and said that the double eviction will be so easy now. He said that they will all be safe and John will be going home. Vanessa said that the there are now three targets; Becky, John and Steve.
8:00-9:00 PM: Steve approached Shelli and told her that he had made a two week deal with Vanessa and he doesn’t want to break his word to her. Shelli asked if the deal specified that he had to vote for her. Steve said no. Shelli said that he doesn’t have to worry then, since Vanessa uses that type of wording in her deals all of the time to get out of things. Steve said that his thought process was that Shelli would be staying no matter which way he votes. Shelli said that Steve does not know that. He then brought up that he got the vibe from her that she was concerned about him yesterday when she questioned him about his targets. Shelli said that she was just making conversation. She said that Steve is someone that she trusts and that she wants to play this game with. Shelli asked if Steve is being pressured by Austin to vote for Vanessa. Steve admitted that he was. Shelli asked if the twins were doing the same thing to him. Steve said no and that Austin speaks for the twins. Steve told Shelli that there is no doubt in his mind that he needs her there more than he needs Vanessa. Shelli said that that’s what he should be basing his decision off of then.
Shelli explained to Steve that the group of eight will stick with their plan if Vanessa stays, which means that John and Steve will be targeted. She felt that it was best to take someone out from that group in order to weaken it. Moving forward, Shelli suggested that they could take out Austin, which would free up the twins to work with them. Shelli told Steve that she would nominate Austin and one of the Goblins. Afterwards, Steve told John that they need Shelli in the game, since they need to break up the eight person group. Steve said that Shelli brought up making a deal with Austin and the twins. John agreed that they need to pick one of the groups of three to work with, though he did not think that it mattered which side they chose. By the hot tub, Jackie, James and Meg talked about nominating John and Vanessa if they win HoH. They said that Steve would be nominated if the veto is used. If Vanessa wins HoH and nominates Becky and John, James said that they would need to vote John out.
9:00-10:00 PM: Shelli spoke to Becky about the votes. She said that she hopes that people are not flipping. Becky assured her that everything is good so far. Becky said that people realize that Vanessa is having the same conversations and making the same deals with everyone, so they want her out. Out at the hammock, Austin, Liz, Julia and Meg discussed that Steve has been freaking out today. Austin said that it’s because Steve finally slipped up today. They also discussed that John is sketching them out. Austin and the twins all said that they would like to get him out. They didn’t understand why he is being called to the diary room so often when he is not doing anything in the house. They wondered if he was in on a twist. Austin suggested that the best case scenario would be getting John and Steve nominated and having them remain nominated after the veto ceremony. Meg said that they need to convince Becky that they would be nominating Vanessa. It was brought up that they could pretend that it was a failed backdoor plan and nominations stayed the same.
10:00-11:00 PM: Austin told Liz and Julia that this all has brought them closer to Jackie, James and Meg. He said that during his talk with James they made it clear that the six of them need to really protect each other. Austin said that those three are more on their level intellectually and they have a better shot against them than they do against anyone else. Austin pointed out that Becky and Vanessa continuing to go after each other will make those two targets ahead of them. Shelli spoke to Austin, Liz and Julia. She said that she knows that they are voting for Vanessa and she understands. She asked that if she does stay, that things aren’t awkward between them. Shelli said that she still wants to work together. Austin and the twins assured Shelli that they are still good. Out at the hot tub, Vanessa spoke to Jackie, James and Meg. She told them about Becky wanting to work with her, Clay and Shelli the week that she got Jason out. Vanessa brought up that Becky said that James is her target and she also said that Jackie needs to go but she cannot be the one to make that move. John came by and broke up the talk.
11:00-12:00 AM: Shelli told Becky that Austin and the twins are voting for Vanessa and she is concerned that they are trying to get more votes as well. Becky said that Jackie and Meg want Vanessa out. She figured that James was still on board but she said that Vanessa has been talking to her today. Jackie told Becky that even if something happens, Vanessa will go next. Becky said that she doesn’t want Vanessa to be next and she needs to be first to go. Shelli spoke to Jackie and Meg. She said that Becky has told her that they are voting Vanessa out. Shelli said that she appreciates that. She asked that the girls let her know if their minds change, because she wants to be prepared. Jackie said that Shelli is staying as of now but Vanessa is definitely trying to talk to them. Shelli mentioned that she is assuming that Austin and the twins are going to be voting against her. Vanessa told Steve that he is not on the block and he needs to chill out. She said that he has a loyal group in the Freaks and Geeks. Vanessa asked how John and Shelli found out about the eight. Steve said that Becky told them. Vanessa said that Becky is good and that will be her target if she stays. Vanessa let Steve know that he needs to be loyal to her, cause she will turn her back on someone fast if they turn on her.
12:00-1:00 AM: Becky told Meg that it is a huge deal for her to have Vanessa go this week. She pointed out that Shelli is not as big of a social threat. She said that she gets the feeling that Jackie, James and Meg are indifferent but she is not. Becky said that she is done if Vanessa stays. Meg said that it’s not true, since she would need the votes to get her out. Becky said that she made all of her moves this week under the assumption that Vanessa would be leaving, since their group was on board. Becky told Meg that she will be extremely upset if that changes and Vanessa now stays. Meg said that her, Jackie and James are going to be the only ones playing HoH to get Shelli out. Becky said that you could say the same thing for Vanessa, since she has stronger relationships with Austin, Liz and Julia than Shelli does. Meg said that they all have Becky’s back and Vanessa is only one person. Becky said that Vanessa is so good and had her convinced that Jackie was after her, even though she is not someone that is easily persuaded. Becky let Meg know that Vanessa is one person that is very capable of turning others. She told Meg that if the group wanted Shelli out, she wishes that they would have said that beforehand. Meg told Becky that she doesn’t need to freak out about it, since things don’t happen until Wednesdays. Becky went to Shelli and told her that Jackie, James and Meg are concerned that she will go after them in the double eviction. Becky said that they want some kind of a deal if they are going to keep Shelli, so think about that. Shelli said that she had just talked to them and they didn’t say anything. Becky let Shelli know that they want her to initiate it.
1:00-2:00 AM: Meg told Jackie and James that Becky is set on sending Vanessa out over Shelli, since she would have handled things differently if she knew that they wanted Shelli out. Meg said that Becky is freaking out and her conversation with her did not sit right. Jackie and James questioned why she needs Vanessa out first so badly. Jackie and Meg discussed that Shelli did not offer them anything and she is definitely going after the three of them. James said that the decision is not up to Becky and pointed out that things did not go his way last week. Becky joined them and said that they had five days between Thursday and Monday to tell her that they wanted to change the plan and she would have been 100% on board with it. Now that she set this in motion and handled the situation this way, Becky said that Vanessa has to go. She said that they can work a deal with Shelli. Meg said that Shelli has no desire to work with them. Becky said that she will not be okay if anyone in their group votes Shelli out. Becky said that she would have explained to Vanessa that she is just a pawn and that nobody wants her out if she knew that they were evicting Shelli. Jackie said that Shelli needs to tell them that they are safe, since Vanessa has done that. Becky said that Vanessa is just telling them what they want to hear. Jackie and Meg said that that is better than nothing.
Meg told Becky that they have her back and they are trying to figure out the best way possible to get both Shelli and Vanessa out. Becky said that she doesn’t feel that everybody is friends with Shelli, while everyone is friends with Vanessa. Meg disagreed. Meg told Becky that Vanessa will nominate her with John and then she knows for a fact that Becky would have the votes to stay. Becky pointed out that Vanessa is so manipulative and that Austin, Vanessa, Liz and Julia are a group of four. Meg said that she doesn’t see it that way. Becky told them that Shelli is only with John, yet Vanessa has a group of four and has the ability to manipulate. Meg said that Shelli could take one of them out in an instant. Becky said that Vanessa could too. Meg said that Vanessa will not, which Becky disagreed with. Becky figured that it would have been true that Vanessa was not after them until on Monday when she put her up and made it clear that they are willing to lie to and backdoor Vanessa. Jackie said that they need to figure out what benefits the group the most. James said that he is voting however the group wants him to. They discussed that they should evict whichever of the two has the fewest people going after them next. Becky thought that two people would not go after Shelli and three people would not go after Vanessa. No conclusion was reach as to which way to vote.
2:00-3:00 AM: After Becky left, James told Jackie and Meg that she did not sell them on keeping Shelli. James said that all that he heard was “me me me me”. Jackie and Meg said that Becky didn’t even say a word when they brought up that one of them could go home if Shelli stays. James got Vanessa and brought her in to talk to them. Vanessa gave her word that she would be going after Becky and that James, Jackie and Meg would not go on the block. Vanessa said that she would nominate Becky and John, using Steve as a replacement nominee if one is needed. After Vanessa headed back to bd, James said that if Becky really was a rat then that cannot be excused. Jackie said that at least they know Vanessa’s game plan and who she is going to put up. Meg figured that Becky would have Shelli come to them to offer a deal, so she will not believe it now. Jackie and Meg agreed that they have to get rid of Shelli.
