BB17 Day 60
August 16, 2015
2:00-3:00 PM: Liz told Austin that she hopes that Vanessa doesn’t brainwash John. She was concerned because John and Vanessa are stuck in the have-not room together this week. Austin said that John cannot be brainwashed, especially after he has a group of four telling him to go along with what Vanessa says but know that they have his back over more than Vanessa. Liz told Austin to guarantee John his vote. Austin figured that John already knew that he would be voting for him. Liz told Austin to do it officially. Liz also suggested that Austin tell John that he will throw HoH to him if it comes down to them, because John can then get Vanessa out.
3:00-4:00 PM: Liz told Julia that she is so over Vanessa. Julia said that she is annoyed with Vanessa as well. She told Liz that she feels bad about not treating Shelli better in the last days that she spent in the house. Liz pointed out that Shelli staying still would have been worse for their games. Vanessa then broke up the conversation. They began discussing which houseguest they would like to see return. Vanessa said that Shelli would be a number on their side, which is great. For that reason, Vanessa said that Shelli is by far the one that she would like to see return. On the other hand, she pointed out that Shelli is a good player and was very difficult to get out. Julia asked if Shelli was mad at Vanessa when she left. Vanessa did not think so. Vanessa figured that Jackie would work with Meg and James, as could Becky. Vanessa thought that it would be best to get James or Meg out next, since both Becky and Jackie would work with those two. She told the twins that she has no deals left, so she could win HoH and make the move. Vanessa was concerned that the jury members would all tell each other everything. She worried that Shelli would tell Jackie about her working with Austin, Steve and the twins. Vanessa told the twins that she trusts them more than anyone and she would never turn on them. Julia said that they have her back and are getting Becky out because she is after Vanessa. Julia mentioned that Becky has also won $10,000, which is more than any of them have won. Vanessa said that Becky will hopefully not come back.
7:00-8:00 PM: Becky checked in with Liz. She asked if the nominations will be staying the same. Liz said that they will be. Becky said that she expected that to be the case and that’s fine. Becky told Liz that she was nervous that John was going to win the veto, due to how well he has done in those competitions. Now that the veto competition is over, Becky said that she feels confident that she will be staying. Liz said that Becky now knows what she has to do. Liz pointed out that Becky or John could still come back if they end up going. Becky said it’s all good as long as she is still the pawn, because she realizes that pawns are necessary with so few people remaining. Becky later went to James and Meg to tell them that Liz did not talk to her between the nominations and the veto competition. She was concerned about the lack of reassurance. She also said that it was not good to hear Liz say that she will have a chance to come back.
Vanessa told Liz that Austin is acting weird towards her and is avoiding her. Liz assured her that nothing is wrong and that he has just gotten closer to James and Meg, now having a bromance with James. Vanessa then began crying to Steve, telling him that she wants to go because she is over it, is miserable and cannot do this anymore. Steve said that he is thoroughly confused and he is not understanding at all. Vanessa said that she is feeling incredibly lonely. She said that she feels like she is on the block again, cause everyone leaves the room whenever she enters it. Vanessa asked if she is getting backdoored and doesn’t even know it. She told Steve to let her know if she is going on the block. Steve said that she is not. Vanessa felt that people have been acting so weird to her and nobody will hang out with her. Steve said that he will hang out with her. Vanessa said that he never comes to her to ask to hang out and he is paranoid to be with her for more than two seconds. Vanessa pointed out that Steve has John, Meg and James have each other and then Austin and the twins are together, leaving her with no one.
Vanessa asked Steve why he didn’t warn her that she was being backdoored last week. Steve said that he only had strong suspicions, though Vanessa told him that the twins said that he told them that he knew. Vanessa told Steve that they should have had this conversation before hand so that they could figure out a way to prevent her from going on the block. Vanessa said that she finds it hard to believe that Becky will stay on the block if Austin is as close to James and Meg as he appears to be. Steve said that Liz has assured him that she is not using the veto. Up in the HoH room, Liz told Austin and Julia that she is concerned that Vanessa will take Austin out of the game if she stays another week. She discussed her conversation with Vanessa and how she is concerned about Austin acting weird with her. Julia said that they have to take out Becky this week and then next week Vanessa is gone. Austin said that’s scary though. Julia said that it’s not a good move to take Vanessa out this week. Liz said that she is scared for Austin. Austin said that they may have to talk to Vanessa and calm her down. Liz told Austin that Vanessa claims that he is avoiding her. Austin said that Vanessa is never up in the HoH room and all she wants to do is talk game, when there is nothing to talk about.
8:00-9:00 PM: Julia said that Liz is overthinking things with Vanessa. Liz said that she just wanted to let Austin know what was going on. Liz felt that Vanessa has been bugging out. Austin told Liz to let Vanessa know that there is nothing to worry about, which is why they are not talking much game. Austin told Julia that he is worried that Vanessa will out the Freaks and Geeks. Julia said that everyone knows that Vanessa is crazy and they are going to take her out next week. Austin wondered if she would do something crazy if she wins the next HoH. Julia said that she and Liz would tell Vanessa that they will be after her if she tries to take Austin. Vanessa spoke to Liz and said that she feels like the fourth wheel with her and the twins. She said that it’s terrible and she feels lonely. Liz said that she doesn’t know how long Vanessa has been feeling this way, but Austin is just happy that they are safe and in power this week. Vanessa said that she doesn’t know what kind of things Becky has put out there about her. She asked Liz and later Austin to tell Steve that she was not the one to create the eight person deal to get Shelli out, because that’s what Becky is telling Steve. Steve was there by this point and said that they have already talked about it and it is not an issue.
11:00-12:00 AM: John spoke to Steve about the vote. Steve said that he would be flabbergasted if the votes flipped against John this week. He said that whatever conversation John had with Austin and the twins, it went really well. John said that he made it clear that they are not his target and that Vanessa is. John was concerned that he and Steve would be the next targets, since nobody will finish the job and go after James and Meg. John thought that people would be less threatening to others now that they are just a duo. Steve asked John what he is proposing that they do. John said that he would have to think about it. Steve pointed out that the twins are obviously going to take each other to the end, which means that Austin has to know that he cannot go to the Final 3 with them. Steve asked if Austin and the twins reacted positively to him saying that he would target Vanessa. John said yes, which confirmed to him that there is no Final 2 deal between Austin and Vanessa. Steve wondered who Austin would have a Final 2 with then. John said that he doesn’t know and that Austin may just be lost.
12:00-1:00 AM: Julia and Meg discussed the breakdown that Vanessa had earlier in the evening. Meg was concerned about what Vanessa would do if she won HoH. Julia figured that she would be going after John. Meg said that she cannot have Vanessa take out Austin or James. Julia thought that Vanessa would be the target for everyone next week, since they are all on to her. She explained that Liz cannot make the move to take Vanessa out right now. Meg understood. They then discussed the plan to target Becky. Meg revealed that Becky is feeling that she is not 100% safe, though she is playing it cool. Out at the hammock, Austin told John that he has his vote 100%. He also said that John has Liz’s tie breaking vote if it comes down to it. Austin said that hopefully John will be on the same page as them next week. John told Austin that he knows what page he is on. Austin said that they need to bring Vanessa up to the HoH room this week and make her feel really good about things, hopefully ensuring that she will throw HoH. Austin said that there would be a massive blow up if he took out Vanessa, but he is willing to do it. Austin told John that he would probably throw HoH to him if it came down to the two of them.
1:00-2:00 AM: James told Meg that they have a strong team with Austin, Liz and Julia. He said that he feels so comfortable and tight with them. Meg wondered what Austin’s game plan was for later in the game. James said that he may have a Final 2 with Vanessa. Meg thought that Austin could not go to the Final 3 with both of the twins. She figured that it was more likely that he would take one twin and one other person. James said that he did not want to be the one to take the twins out, since they were loyal and did not put them up this week. Meg said that someone has to go after them. James said that he knows that but it’s too early. Meg agreed. James thinks that Vanessa will be targeted as long as she does not win HoH. Meg mentioned that John and Steve also have to go. James preferred to get Steve out first, since he is so smart. Meg asked what they are going to do if Jackie gets back in the game. James said that they can go after the twins then. Austin and John discussed that Vanessa comes up with the dumbest reasons to make her moves.
John said that his reason will be good if he gets the opportunity to go after Vanessa. He said that he will explain that Vanessa said that there was nothing going on up in the HoH rom, then she later said that there was an eight person alliance formed to come after him, which he later found out was started by Vanessa. Austin said that Vanessa is denying that she created it, saying that she was the last one in the room. Austin told John that she is going on a technicality, since she was the last one pulled in but James brought everyone in because Vanessa wanted it to happen and he wanted to get it over with. John figured that the whole point of it was for Vanessa to get the Goblins on her side. Austin agreed. Becky told John that she is wondering if Liz will use the PoV on him in order to nominate Meg and ensure that she goes home this week. John did not think that it would be used. John said that he is screwed for the upcoming weeks unless he wins an HoH and makes things happen. John said that he feels as though Vanessa has lost all of her power now, since she is looking so defeated. Becky said that it’s part of her strategy, because she can use that to make it seem as though nothing is her fault.
2:00-3:00 AM: Becky told John that she knows her fate this week. She said that she is not giving up but she feels as though her best play is to go out quietly and the fight to come back and put herself in the best position to not get sent immediately back out. Becky said that she will play well with the other children and play summer camp like they want. She said that she is good enough in competitions that she will have a decent shot at returning. John said that he plans to do everything that he can to send Vanessa out next week. Becky mentioned that Austin, Liz and Julia may keep Vanessa around as a target, because they could then stay a trio.
