BB17 Day 84
September 9, 2015
12:00-1:00 PM: Heading in to today, the plan is for Liz to stay and Julia to be evicted. The twins reached that decision yesterday and informed the others of what they want to have happen. Liz and Julia discussed their speeches with each other. Meanwhile, John asked Austin if anything went down last night after he went to sleep. Austin said not really. He told John that Steve asked if there is anything that he can do for the twins. Austin said that let Steve know that he should respect what the twins want. John confirmed that that is still sending Julia out. He said that he is on board with it because he doesn’t see much of a difference between them in competitions moving forward. Austin pointed out that they don’t even know what the competitions will be. He said that he doesn’t see this decision impacting many people’s games, since they will target the same people. Austin and John reassured each other that they are keeping each other safe next week. John said that he needs to start making decisions based on who he can actually beat at the end. John suggested that the jury will not be bitter and that they will say that Vanessa played really well. He told Austin that Becky said that she would vote for Vanessa over him. Austin agreed and said that Vanessa has played perfectly, though she wants people to think that the jury will not like her. Austin said that he probably would not be able to beat Liz at the end either, so he needs John. John agreed and said that he would be in tough against Steve, since Steve has better relationships with people.
1:00-2:00 PM: Vanessa told John that she is scared about what is going to happen tomorrow. John said that they have got to kill it and that there is no being scared. Vanessa told John that she will give it her all but she is definitely giving the HoH to him if it comes down to the two of them. John was on board with that.
3:00-4:00 PM: Vanessa asked Austin how things are with him. He said that he feels like they are in a good spot right now. He said that he believes that they will be in the Final 3 at the very least. Austin pointed out that the way that he could be in trouble is if he is on the block next to Liz and she wins the PoV. Vanessa said that it’s better than him being the target over Julia. Austin told Vanessa that if they are in the Final 3 with Liz, he will have to let Vanessa have the HoH and make the decision. Vanessa said that it’s automatic that she would take him. Austin said that he cannot go against either one of them, so he would have to let her do it. Vanessa said that she is a good read of people and could tell that Liz did not like the deal. Vanessa said that it’s a risky move to keep someone in the game like Liz, since she can win, but it’s not if they stick to the deal. Vanessa said that John and Steve have to go on the block together, since they are always taking each other to the end. Vanessa said that she wont have anything to worry about unless Steve wins the veto, but Austin will either be the vote or the tiebreak.
While Austin and Vanessa were chatting in the bathroom, Steve was watching the spy screen and noticed them both go in there. He was going over scenarios out loud. He said that the showmance will be going on the block if John or Vanessa win HoH, then it wont even matter if one of them wins the PoV. If Austin or Liz win HoH, Steve said that the best case scenario is that whichever of himself, John and Vanessa is not nominated, needs to win the PoV, use it and force Austin or Liz to nominate each other. Steve felt that he would be safe as long as he does not end up on the block next to Vanessa. Steve said that he trusts Vanessa even though he has been saying that he doesn’t. He mentioned that she does not have a Final 2 with Austin or with John, so he is her only Final 2 in the house. However, Steve said that she would not hesitate for a second to throw him under the bus if they are nominated together on eviction night. Steve said that he believes that he is the Cody to Vanessa’s Derrick. The whole time, Steve realized that Austin and Vanessa were in the bathroom chatting. He said that this just reaffirms to him that he cannot be on the block next to Vanessa or else he will go. He felt that the Austin and Vanessa connection is deeper than he had thought. Steve said that he cannot beat Vanessa in the finals either, despite what she says about having enemies. He brought up how Becky had told him that she would vote for Vanessa. Liz entered the bathroom and Austin then exited. Steve found that suspicious. He said if Vanessa is still in the bathroom, she is busted. He then went downstairs and found Vanessa in the bathroom.
4:00-5:00 PM: Liz told Julia about how John let Austin know that Becky said that she would vote for Vanessa if she got to the end. Julia wondered if John would then take Vanessa out if he wins HoH. Liz wasn’t sure but she said that anyone would be a fool to believe Vanessa. Liz said that she would be going after Vanessa if none of this stuff with Steve had taken place. However, she said that she definitely needs to go after Steve. Julia said that’s what she wants. Julia told Liz that Vanessa has to go if Steve wins the PoV. She said that Vanessa would have a very good chance to win the game if she makes it to the Final 3, while John will not be as strong in those competitions. Liz told Julia to have a talk with John tomorrow, letting him know that the twins and probably Austin had a Final 2 deal with Vanessa, so she is playing everyone. Julia was concerned that John may bring that information to Vanessa and then Vanessa would target Liz, though Liz did not think so.
8:00-9:00 PM: Julia told Austin that Steve is acting weird and said that he is going over things in his head. She worried that he would try to flip the vote. Austin said that Vanessa would screw her own game up with them, so she would not take that risk and flip the vote. Steve pulled Liz aside. Steve thanked Liz for telling him which way the twins wanted the vote to go. He told her that she has every right to nominate him if she wins HoH. However, Steve said that John and Vanessa promised to vote how he wanted, so he would like to ask a small favour in return for having them keep Liz. He asked that if Liz wins HoH next week and is the tie breaking vote, that she vote to keep him. Liz said that she can do that. Steve said that the chances are that it wont even play out that way with him on the block and Liz as HoH, but he wanted to ask for something small. Liz said that it’s a deal and she shook on it. Steve then went to Austin and informed him that he is endorsing Liz staying but made a deal with her that she break the tie in his favour if she is the HoH next week. Austin said nice. Liz told Julia about the deal and said that she was going to say whatever she had to say. Julia said that Steve is still going next week if Liz wins.
12:00-1:00 AM: After a couple hours with little game talk, due to games of pot ball and chess, Austin and Steve had a quick game talk. Austin told Steve that he feels good about John heading into the HoH competition. Austin felt that he may end up on the block and need Steve’s vote however, since there are so few people left. Austin mentioned that the three guys could likely make something work if John wins HoH. Steve asked if Austin understands why he had to nominate him next to Liz. Austin said yes, since he could have won the veto and used it on her. Steve said that it was likely the same reason that Austin nominated him next to John. Austin said that everything is good between them. Austin suggested that he could influence Liz’s vote moving forward and keep Steve safe. He said that it was good that Steve already spoke to Liz about a potential tiebreaker vote earlier. If Vanessa wins HoH, Austin figured that she would still go after John. He said that John claims not to trust Vanessa, though he does not know if John is just saying that. Austin pointed out that Vanessa did not nominate John during her last HoH reign. Austin figured that he would be nominated next to one of the girls if he goes on the block. He asked Steve for his vote in those situations. Steve said yeah. Austin told Steve that he would have his vote as long as he is not nominated next to Liz.
