BB17 Day 96
September 21, 2015
11:00-12:00 PM: Vanessa asked Liz if Steve has talked to her at all about anything game wise. Liz said no. Vanessa asked if Liz gives her word that Steve has not talked to her. Liz said a million percent. Liz told Vanessa that it means that Steve is obviously talking with Vanessa, since he hasn’t said anything to her. Vanessa pointed out that Liz gave her word that she would not tell Steve about their deal and she is good for that deal. Vanessa said that Liz just cannot know about the deal. She explained that Liz knows the deal that they have, regardless of what get said over the next couple of days. Vanessa gave her word on her girlfriend Mel that she is good for their deal. Vanessa said that her word is only as good as the person that she is giving it to. She mentioned that Steve has betrayed her in this game multiple times, more than Liz knows. Vanessa said that Steve doesn’t deserve that level of loyalty from her. Vanessa then explained that she has to make a deal with Steve that he will take her to the end if he wins HoH, so she hopes that Liz understands that. Liz said that she understands that 100%. Vanessa felt that she was the favourite to win HoH. Vanessa let Liz know that Steve is going to want them both to go to Liz and say that they are not taking her. However, Vanessa again gave her word on Mel that she is not taking Steve to the Final 2 if she wins HoH.
Vanessa said that she is praying to God that she has Liz and Julia’s votes if Steve beats her and takes her to the end. Liz said a million percent. Vanessa told Liz that people don’t realize how much she played and how many moves she has made, so she will likely lose no matter who she is up against. Liz said that Vanessa deserves it the most and she wants her to win. Liz said that she road the coattails of Austin and Vanessa, while Vanessa worked her ass off for this. Liz said that Vanessa reminds her of the Derrick of the season and she is the Cody. Liz swore on Julia that Steve has not come up to her to make any type of deal or anything with regards to the Final 2. Vanessa said that Steve assumes that he has a Final 2 with her because it was her and Steve in Scamper Squad along with the trio of Austin, Liz and Julia. Vanessa told Liz that if it wasn’t for her, she would have been gone. Vanessa said that Steve would have had her out if he got his way, and he does not realize how much she took it to heart that he tried to replace her with Johnny Mac. On the other hand, Vanessa said that Liz has had her back and has earned her loyalty. Vanessa again told Liz that she has her word on Mel that she will take her to the end. She let Liz know that she knows that they will be friends on the outside and she would never do her dirty like that. Liz said that she wanted to win Part 2 so bad and is mad that it even has to come to this. Liz said that she took it bad and was bawling on her own late at night while making turkey burgers.
Vanessa said that she has the perfect speech ready to evict Steve with and she really really wants to beat him in Part 3 so that she can use it. Vanessa said that her speech will kill it. She said that Steve is a good kid but he was so selfish and only looked out for himself this whole game. Vanessa brought up how Austin and the twins campaigned for her to stay over Shelli but Steve did not do anything. Vanessa also said that it would make her really happy to have two girls in the finals. Liz said that Steve has not tried talking to her and will not take her, since he thinks that she still hates him. Vanessa figured that Steve would have to know that he would have Austin’s, Julia’s and her vote against him if he took Liz to the Final 2. Vanessa said that Steve would then have to get 5 of the 6 remaining votes in order to win the game. Vanessa pointed out that Austin, Liz and Julia will be voting against her if she takes Steve, so she would have three votes against her no matter what and she will therefore take Liz. Vanessa told Liz that she will take her, give her best speech and hope for the best. Vanessa said that those that were good to her in this game are going to have a Merry Christmas. Vanessa told Liz that Part 3 is about understanding people and she has to be a favourite to win that. Vanessa felt that it was all about making a read on someone, which was her job when she was a professional gambler. Liz said that it would be the worst thing in the world if Steve won and she will hate this season if he does win. Vanessa said that she does not think that Steve will win. Liz said that Steve is not getting her vote. Vanessa said that she has to pray that Austin is over it.
11:00-12:00 AM: Steve asked Vanessa at what point tomorrow they should have their talk with Liz, telling her about their Final 2 and that they will be taking each other over her. Vanessa said that they can feel it out unless Steve is needing an exact time. Steve said that he is not. He told Vanessa that he expects it to be really awkward afterwards. Vanessa agreed. Steve said that he feels that night time is better, such as around this time tomorrow. Vanessa was fine with that.
12:00-1:00 AM: Steve went to the hammock room alone to practice his Final 2 speech. He has told the live feeders that he plans to take Liz over Vanessa, so his speech was made within the context of that Final 2 pairing. Steve said that there are four factors that he wants people to considering when casting their vote. The factors are the twin twist, social game, competitions and strategic game. With regards to the twin twist, Steve said that the game was made easier for Liz due to the twin twist. He pointed out that she was only there half of the time during the first 43 days, even though they may be tempted to vote for her because the twin twist made her a target. Steve said that Liz got three weeks off during the game to sit in a hotel room and she also had someone that she could trust no matter what in this game. Steve brought up that no one else had that. As for social game, Steve began to list off various things that he knows about his fellow houseguests. Steve brought up that he went after Jackie, who was the strongest competitor in the alliance opposing his. Steve said that he was the first person to man up and make the big move against Austin and the twins. As for Vanessa, he said that she is probably the most influential and strongest player in the game. Steve pointed out that Becky tried to get Vanessa out but he was the one to do it. Steve went on to say that Johnny Mac said a line that made a lot of sense to him once he thought about it. That line was that “Vanessa is Derrick”. Steve said that he has been HoH four times, while Liz has only been HoH three times and was dethroned one of those times. As for PoVs, he said that he has won two as opposed to Liz having won one.
