Big Brother 18 Day 24 - Paul and Tiffany are nominated; Frank wins Road Kill
July 8, 2016
11:00-12:00 PM: The nomination ceremony took place. Bridgette nominated Paul and Tiffany for eviction. Zakiyah told Tiffany not to freak out. She said that she isn’t. Zakiyah assured Tiffany that they have her back and that everything will work out. Nicole then checked up on Tiffany. Nicole told Tiffany that she has them. Tiffany said that they just have to win the Road Kill competition. Once Tiffany was alone, she said that if she survives, she will be going after Frank with a vengeance. She also said that she would nominate Bridgette next to him. Up in the HoH room, Bronte told Bridgette that Zakiyah rolled her eyes after the nominations were made. Bronte figured that it was just for show because she is friends with Tiffany. Bridgette asked how Tiffany is handling it. Bronte said that Tiffany seemed okay but then seemed to get angrier and angrier. Bronte suggested that Tiffany knows that a lot of this came from Frank. Bridgette said that it really didn’t because she wanted Tiffany out too. Bronte then filled Bridgette in on what happened last night between Da’Vonne and Frank. She said that Frank has been slapping Da’Vonne and Zakiypah’s butts. She then said that Frank jokingly called Da’Vonne a slut and slapped her ass again so Da’Vonne went to the diary room to report him. Bronte figured that the backlash for this week would fall on Frank, not Bridgette. She told Bridgette that people in the house are more likely to side with Paulie over Frank so that may be Bridgette’s best bet as well. Back in the bedroom, Tiffany said that she needs to win the Road Kill in order to nominate Bronte. If Bronte wins the veto, Tiffany said that she would then nominate Natalie.
12:00-1:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Bridgette and Paul spoke. Bridgette clarified that Paul is not her target. Paul said that he knows and he does not take things personally. He asked if it will put her in a bad spot if he wins and uses the veto. Bridgette encouraged Paul to do so. Bridgette said she has an idea of who she would nominate if Tiffany wins the veto, but she did not name any names. Meanwhile, Frank told Corey that Da’Vonne is too paranoid and she will have to go eventually. Frank mentioned that what he did to Da’Vonne last night is something that he has done before. He said they always joke about it and laugh it off. Frank was irritated that Da’Vonne didn’t tell him she was offended by it the first time because then he would have stopped. Frank said he apologized this morning but doesn’t think that Da’Vonne took it well. He said if she wants to be like Tiffany, go for it. Frank told Corey that he can turn the votes against Da’Vonne quickly. Frank admitted he thought about getting Bridgette to nominate Da’Vonne but he wouldn’t actually have done it. As for people at home thinking that he is acting inappropriately, Frank said it’s the way he is.
5:00-6:00 PM: Feeds returned following the Road Kill competition. Frank won the competition. Frank let Corey and Nicole know that he won. He then told Da’Vonne. He said that he is thinking about not telling Michelle so that he can nominate her if Bronte wins the veto. Da’Vonne said Michelle is safe because she is on Frank’s team. Frank said he will have to nominate Natalie if Bronte wins the veto then. Frank then informed James, Michelle and Zakiyah that he won and plans to nominate Bronte. Afterwards, James, Michelle and Zakiyah discussed that Frank has to go. They were talking about how strong he is in competitions and that’s why he has to go now as opposed to later. They agreed that they have to win the veto to keep the nominations the same because they don’t trust Frank to not try to backdoor one of them. Paulie joined them and said that Frank is a beast. James asked who they are going to try to send home this week. Paulie said that he wants Tiffany to go. Paulie proposed an idea that people in their alliance tell Frank that they want to backdoor Paulie next week so that Frank will throw the HoH competition. They would then target Frank. James said that he could try telling Frank that he will nominate Corey and Paulie if he wins HoH.
6:00-7:00 PM: Da’Vonne asked Frank who they are going to send home if Bronte and Tiffany remain on the block. Frank said Tiffany. Da’Vonne mentioned that some of the girls really want Bronte out. Frank listed off numerous people who are on board with getting Tiffany out. Up in the HoH room, Bridgette told Bronte and Natalie that she would never put them up. Bridgette revealed that Paulie had tried to get her to nominate Bronte but she told him that she wouldn’t do it. Bridgette wanted to know how the girls feel about Frank. Natalie didn’t want to say much out of fear that it would get back to Frank. After pressing some more, Bridgette was able to get Natalie to talk about what happened last night. Natalie explained the incident that took place between Da’Vonne and Frank. Bridgette then told the girls that she plans to nominate Corey if Tiffany wins the veto. She figures that she can get the girls on board with getting Corey out if that happens. She asked them not to tell anyone because she hasn’t even told Frank since he will not be on board with it. In the have-not room, James asked Paulie and Zakiyah if they can call themselves the Gladiators. James said that they are fighting for their freedom. He said that they can say “strength and honour” to each other whenever they walk by each other. Paulie said that would be a bit of a giveaway. James said they can play it off as an inside joke. In the bedroom, Natalie told Bronte that she would prefer to have Paul go home over Bronte and Tiffany. They discussed that getting another guy out would be beneficial. If Paul saves himself, they wanted to get Corey out. Bronte said she wants to be able to say that she tried to unite the girls if she ends up going home. If it doesn’t work out, Bronte wanted to know that it wasn’t for a lack of trying. Bronte said it’s disappointing to hear that the girls are threatened by her when she wants to work with them. Bronte told Natalie that they need to make it clear that they are votes for the girls in jury.
7:00-8:00 PM: The Road Kill ceremony took place. Frank nominated Bronte for eviction. Bronte told Natalie that she feels like she is going to have a breakdown. She said she needs to start talking to someone. she was about to tell Natalie something when Zakiyah came in the room. Bronte told Zakiyah that it’s totally fine because she expected to go up. Bronte reiterated that she is a girls girl, she wants a girl to win and she would never vote for a guy to win over a girl. Zakiyah told Bronte that she has her vote. Bronte said she thinks that she came off as intimidating when she didn’t mean to be. Afterwards, Tiffany told Nicole that is the best case scenario. Tiffany figured that Paul may have nominate Bronte because he was asking her who is best to go up in order to keep them both safe. Elsewhere, James and Paulie discussed working together. James told Paulie that as long as they are in the game together, he will never nominate or backdoor Paulie. Paulie said that he can say the same. James said he is not out there trying to make side deals with four or five other groups. Paulie said that he needs just one solid. Paulie explained that the Eight Pack is basically nothing if Tiffany and Frank are out the door so he wanted to try to find a person to work with. Paulie said he wants to be able to battle for somebody and have them battle for him. James mentioned that people want to get him out because he has a kid or they are threatened by him. Paulie said the kid thing doesn’t bother him just like it didn’t bother Cody that Derrick had one. Paulie said if they go to the end then they both give their speeches and see what happens. Paulie told James that he thinks they can do some damage once they get to the point of jury starting. James agreed and said he doesn’t think that too many people would think they are that close. They agreed that they could keep heat off of each other. Paulie said they could always grab some people. He mentioned Corey as someone who he would like to work with.
8:00-9:00 PM: Bridgette told Bronte that she asked Nicole what she thinks of Bronte being on the block. Bridgette said Nicole claimed that she hadn’t heard Bronte’s name at all. That led Bridgette to wonder if Paulie was lying about the girls wanting Bronte out. Bronte felt that the best bet would be to make sure that there is a guy on the block so that they can rally the girls together. Bridgette let Bronte know that she is upset she is on the block and her goal will be to keep her safe. Bridgette wondered if they would be able to get the votes to evict Corey if he ends up on the block. They were unsure about a number of votes. Bronte said that even if Corey goes up and stays, she doesn’t think that there would be bad blood. Bronte worried that she doesn’t have much chance of staying over any replacement nominee. She thought that the only option would be to rally the girls. Bridgette said that she would have to nominate a boy but not tell Frank because he would not be happy about that. Bronte said the best case scenario if she remains on the block is to have Paul up there with her. Bridgette told Bronte that she will use the veto on her if she wins it. While Tiffany previously thought that Tiffany going home was a safe bet, she figured that it all changed last night due to Frank’s behaviour. They discussed shifting the target from Tiffany to Paul in hope of getting the girls to keep Bronte. Bridgette was concerned about Tiffany coming after her next. Bronte said the girls will be going after Frank. Bronte said they need abandon the Frank ship and campaign to get Paul out. Bronte thought that they could work on getting Da’Vonne and Zakiyah to vote with them by pointing out that it will be easier to get Frank out if Paul is gone. She suggested making an offer to those two that they will throw HoH to them so they can target Frank if they get Paul out and keep Bronte in the house this week.
9:00-10:00 PM: They Spy Girls met up in the HoH room. Bridgette and Bronte let Natalie know that the plan is to pick her to play in the veto competition. They said that they will throw it to her if possible so that all three of them will be safe. Bronte started to cry. She told Bridgette and Natalie that she knows she is at the bottom of the barrel and she is very thankful that they have fought for her. Bronte said she has a secret to share with them that she had not planned to tell anyone. Bronte said she is the secret nerd who is about to get her second degree. Bronte went on to say that she is an aspiring mathematician and it is her dream to use the product of prime numbers to fight against hackers for the NSA. Bronte explained that her whole life revolves around math and it has been so hard not to tell anyone. Natalie then revealed her secret, saying that she was an NFL cheerleader for a number of years. Bridgette said that her boyfriend is a doctor but she did not want people to think that she doesn’t need the money because she will marry him for money, so she kept it a secret.
10:00-11:00 PM: While Bronte was in the diary room, Bridgette and Natalie discussed that Paul has got to go this week. Bridgette pointed out that Tiffany going after Frank is even more reason to keep her around. Natalie suggested that Bridgette have a conversation in private with Tiffany. Bridgette didn’t want to tell Tiffany the whole plan but said that she can ask Tiffany to trust that they have a common goal in mind. Natalie informed Bridgette that she has heard the guys are becoming concerned about the possibility of an all girls alliance. Natalie said she has tried to start hanging out with the guys more and hanging out with Bronte less since hearing of that. Natalie think that Paul is someone who will do whatever he needs to in order to make the guys happy. She said he is also easy for them to manipulate, which makes him dangerous to the girls.
11:00-12:00 AM: Natalie used the phone to call down from the HoH room. James answered. Natalie told James that she doesn’t want Bronte to go home. James assured her that Bronte will not be leaving. He advised Natalie to tell Bronte to stay calm and not freak out. Natalie wondered who won the Road Kill. She threw out the names of Paulie and Zakiyah. James told her that it was neither of them. Natalie concluded that it was Frank. James confirmed it without using Frank’s name. Natalie asked how they can get Bridgette to see Frank’s true colors. James explained that once Frank is locked in as a final nominee, everybody will blow him up. Natalie asked if everyone is voting Tiffany out this week. James said yes. Natalie said she is fine with Tiffany going because she doesn’t care as long as it’s not Bronte. James told Natalie that he is telling her this in confidence and that the plan for this week or next cannot get out.
12:00-1:00 AM: Natalie told Bronte that Bridgette cannot open her mouth to Frank about anything. She let Bronte know that she will be safe for the week as long as Bridgette shuts up. Bronte asked how Natalie knows that she will be safe. Natalie said that Tiffany is the target. Bronte then asked if James is voting Tiffany out. Natalie told her that James didn’t say anything but a lot of people are on board to get Tiffany out.
1:00-2:00 AM: Paul asked Bridgette what she will do if she wins the veto. Bridgette said that she would use it on Bronte because she feels as though people are saying her name. Paul was surprised to hear that. Bronte said that the general consensus is to send Tiffany home. Bridgette told Paul that he will be staying this week as long as everything goes according to plan. Bronte told Paul that she will go home over him if Tiffany wins the veto. Paul doubted that but Bridgette agreed with Bronte that she would leave over Paul. Looking ahead to next week, Bronte told Paul that he is good if she wins HoH next week. Bronte said that she will go after the head honcho as long as she knows that she is going to jury even if she leaves the following week. Bronte said there are people in the house who deserve to go home and she will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens.
2:00-3:00 AM: Bronte and Natalie told Bridgette that people are on board with sending Tiffany home. Natalie said that she got new information and they have to go along with the plan. Natalie suggested that Bridgette continue to do whatever Frank says for now, sticking to the original plan. Natalie said they just cannot have Tiffany win the veto. Bridgette said the best case scenario is that Frank and Natalie play in the veto competition. Bridgette said she is overwhelmed right now. She was confused as to why the plan keeps changing. Natalie said that new information came to light and it has nothing to do with her changing her mind. Bridgette told Natalie that she is scared of James like Natalie is scared of Frank. Bridgette also pointed out that the girls only have Bronte and Natalie’s back but not hers. Bridgette said she trusts Frank for now but worries that Frank has the same deal with Paulie as he does with her. Bronte said that if she wins HoH she would love to take a shot at Paulie. Bronte said she would give up the half a million dollars to show America that a woman has the balls to go after a player like Paulie.
