Big Brother 18 Day 25 - Bridgette wins the Power of Veto

July 9, 2016

10:00-11:00 AM: The houseguests had the have-not reveal. Corey, Nicole and Tiffany are the have-nots for the week because their team was the first to be eliminated from the HoH competition. In addition to slop, they can eat peanuts and popcorn. Up in the HoH room, Bridgette and Natalie discussed that they think Bronte will be okay this week. Natalie felt especially good about it because James said that she will be fine. They agreed that they cannot have Tiffany win the veto. Natalie said that she doesn’t feel confident if she has to go on the block but she is willing to take one for the team if Bronte is safe. Bronte joined them. They discussed that the three of them make a great team. Bronte is still worried that Paulie is gunning for her. She expects that she will be targeted if Tiffany wins the veto. Bronte feels that Paul is someone who would do Paulie’s dirty work so Paulie would want to keep him around.

12:00-1:00 PM: Frank encouraged Michelle to work on her social game. In particular, he wanted her to work on her relationship with Bronte and Natalie. Frank mentioned that one of those girls could win HoH and then nominate Michelle because they think that she doesn’t like them. Michelle said the girls will do whatever Frank tells them. Frank said hopefully but you never know. Michelle told Frank to get in their ears and tell them not to put her up. Frank asked why he has to do all of the work for her. Frank admitted that he is working on keeping himself safe first and foremost. He told Michelle not to be like Danielle and expect Dan to do all of the work for her. Frank went to Corey and said that he was busting Michelle’s balls about how he will make sure that she is the first to go from their team if she doesn’t step her social game up. Frank admitted that he would rather have Bridgette around than Michelle because she might win something. He pointed out that Bridgette listened to everything that he said. Frank figured that Michelle has been getting too complacent because she feels safe since they have the numbers. Frank said his mom told him not to be passive aggressive. He felt that Michelle has been acting that way with Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie. Frank said it’s not bad for them since if one of those girls wins HoH they can get them to send Michelle home. Players were picked for the veto competition. Bridgette, Bronte, Paul, Tiffany, Natalie and Paulie will be competing. Up in the HoH room, Bridgette told Bronte, Natalie and Paulie that the plan is to try to throw the competition to Natalie if possible. Down in the bathroom, Da’Vonne told Michelle, Nicole and Zakiyah that she expects Corey to be the next in line to go up if Natalie uses the veto on Bronte. Nicole said she is fine with Corey going up because she just doesn’t want to go up. Nicole revealed that Corey said Natalie was calling him sexy and saying she wants to feel his butt. Da’Vonne asked if Nicole told James that. She hadn’t. Michelle said she would do it. Nicole preferred that Corey tell James if anyone is going to do. .

1:00-2:00 PM: In the have-not room, Corey and James discussed potential replacement nominees. James figured that Corey would not nominate anyone from their alliance since they all know that he won the Road Kill competition. James asked who is left to nominate that doesn’t know Frank won the competition. Corey asked if Natalie knows. James said no. He told Corey that Frank will probably nominate Natalie then. James told Corey that it wont be good if Tiffany wins the veto. He said they could then send Paul home. Corey said they could send Bronte home too. Corey brought up that Frank has been messing with Michelle lately and telling her that he will send her home before Bridgette. James said they could suggest to Frank that he needs to throw the HoH competition next week so that they can get Michelle out. in the bedroom, Bronte and Natalie talked things over. Bronte believes that Paulie is the one behind trying to get her out of the house. She said that Paulie is doing a damn good job of it. Natalie said she will lose it if Bronte goes home. She figured that they should be alright since James knows that they are best friends and will be fighting for Bronte. Natalie told Bronte that she doesn’t want to start liking James a lot and have him do to her what Victor did to her. She mentioned that James could be faking liking her. Bronte did not think that that was the case. However, Bronte told Natalie to be careful because people will nominate her next to James when they decide to target James. Bronte suggested that they continue to play it off as though they are not threats and they just want to make it to jury. Bronte thinks that Tiffany will go this week if that’s what Frank wants. She expects that people will not want to start drama with Frank this week or else the plan to get him out next week will not be as smooth.

2:00-3:00 PM: Da’Vonne and Nicole had a quick chat in the bathroom. Nicole brought up the possibility of Corey going on the block. Da’Vonne said that they would have the votes to save him. Da’Vonne asked who they are going to vote out if Bronte and Tiffany both remain on the block. Nicole said she would prefer to get Tiffany out. She said that Tiffany scares her and she doesn’t think that Bronte is after her anymore. Da’Vonne said she is on board with that. Da’Vonne mentioned that Tiffany cannot know that she is going home or else she will blow up the Fatal Five. Da’Vonne and Nicole then discussed how they are working together but keeping it secret. Nicole said that she doesn’t like to be seen with those who she is closest to and who she wants to be at the end with. She feared that they would be nominated together if that happens. Da’Vonne feels that the houseguests see her as being with Zakiyah, while Nicole feels that people think she and Michelle are super close. Da’Vonne revealed that she will try to get the girls to target Paul in the event that Tiffany wins the veto. Corey came by and told the girls that Frank was saying that he is sick of Michelle running her mouth and he would rather have her there over Bridgette. Corey said that Frank mentioned getting Michelle out next week. The three of them discussed that they could pretend to go along with that plan in order to get Frank to throw the HoH competition next week.

6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. Bridgette won the Power of Veto. In the bedroom, Da’Vonne asked Frank what he thinks Bridgette will do with it. Frank said she will either leave the nominations the same or use the veto on Bronte. Frank said that Natalie will go on the block in Bronte’s place if she uses it.

7:00-8:00 PM: Paul asked Frank if he is sure that people don’t like Tiffany. Frank said 100%. He told Paul that he wouldn’t worry one bit if he were him. Bridgette returned from the diary room. She is on crutches due a sprained ankle that she got when Frank accidentally landed on her. Up in the HoH room, Natalie told Bridgette that she is a powerhouse. Bridgette said Tiffany is going home. Bronte said that she wants to come off of the block. Bridgette asked if Natalie is okay with potentially going up. Natalie said it’s fine if she has to. She said she knows for a fact that she will be nominated but she is willing to take one for the team. Bronte told Natalie that she doesn’t want her to get nominated. Natalie said it is what it is. Natalie explained that she is seen as a pair with Bronte and therefore they will nominate her. Bridgette said they can feel out the house and then make a decision. After Natalie left, Bronte asked Bridgette if she thinks Natalie knows who won the Road Kill competition. Bridgette said she can’t tell with her. Bronte pointed out that nobody cheered Tiffany on. Bridgette said that’s good for their game but it’s sad. Bronte headed downstairs to talk to James. She asked James if he knows who won the Road Kill competition. James said he might. Bronte said she doesn’t want Bridgette to take her down if Natalie will go up in her place. James said it likely would be Natalie who goes up. Bronte said she will tell Bridgette to leave the nominations the same then. Bronte spoke to Natalie about her decision. Natalie assured Bronte that she will not be upset if Bronte is taken down. Bronte said it’s best that the nominations stay the same because once you are nominated, people will continue to nominate you. Frank then told Natalie that it doesn’t matter who is up on the block because Tiffany is leaving no matter who is on the block.

8:00-9:00 PM: Paul told Bridgette that the chances are Natalie is going on the block if Bronte is taken down. He then said that Tiffany came up to him after the veto competition and said that she needs Natalie to go up next to her. They didn’t understand why she would say that. Bridgette said she would like to use the veto but Natalie will end up on the block. Paul told her that it may be best not to use it. Paul said that Tiffany is a very paranoid person and she will sink her own boat. After Paul left, Bronte told Bridgette that they cannot trust what Paul is saying. However, Bronte said she believes that everyone does want Tiffany out. She told Bridgette to leave the nominations the same because she does not want to put Natalie through the stressful situation. Bronte figured that James may have told Natalie who would go up as the replacement nominee. Bronte said she is willing to show America that their group will sacrifice for each other. Paulie told Corey, Nicole and Zakiyah that Bridgette didn’t need to win that competition and all it did is give them reason to go after her before Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie. Michelle asked if they would have a problem nominating Bridgette now that she is injured. Corey and Zakiyah said that they don’t care about that. Michelle said that Bridgette needs to be on the block next to Frank so that she cannot campaign for him.

9:00-10:00 PM: James told Da’Vonne that Natalie knows who won the Road Kill competition. He said that he felt he could trust Natalie. James said it was the ultimate test to see if she could truly be trusted. James told Da’Vonne that Natalie still has not told Bronte up to this point. Da’Vonne and James compared notes on some others. Da’Vonne said that she trusts Paulie but knows that he has a Final 3 with Corey and Zakiyah. James knew that Corey and Paulie were tight but did not know about Zakiyah being the third. Da’Vonne wants to get Corey out so that they can reel Nicole back in. Paulie then joined them. He said that Tiffany would be dangerous if she stays. Da’Vonne figured that Tiffany knows that she is going because you can see it in her face. Both Da’Vonne and Paulie agreed that Tiffany will not go down without a fight.

10:00-11:00 PM: Michelle and Frank had a quick chat. Michelle is worried that Tiffany will try to throw them all under the bus. Frank said that he is not worried about it because it is too late for that. Frank thought that Tiffany may try to expose things in hope of getting Bridgette to use the veto on her. However, he said that they can tell Bridgette that if she saves Tiffany then they will send her friend Bronte home.

11:00-12:00 AM: In the have-not room, Corey and Nicole discussed comments that Natalie made towards Corey. Previously, Nicole said that Natalie told Corey she likes him. Nicole said James would be really upset if he knew that. Corey didn’t want to tell James. Nicole let Corey know that Da’Vonne wants them to tell James. Corey said he wants to send Natalie home because she is causing problems for him and did the same thing when Victor was there. Corey told Nicole that he likes James and is wondering if he should tell him what Natalie has said. Corey admitted that he feels even worse because he thinks that James liked Nicole too. Nicole said that James uses her to get Natalie jealous. Corey thinks that Natalie is using James. Nicole pointed out that James already got hurt last season and she does not want him to throw his game away again this season. Tiffany joined them. Nicole asked how she is feeling. Tiffany said it sucks to be on the block. Nicole said it will make Tiffany stronger. Tiffany asked if people are going to want to get Bronte out. Nicole said yeah. Out in the kitchen, Frank told Paulie that he would prefer to keep Bridgette around over someone like Michelle. They discussed that Bridgette can be used to take a shot at somebody that they themselves cannot take a shot at. Frank mentioned going after Bronte next. Hoping to get Frank to be willing to throw the HoH competition, Paulie said they could put the heat on Michelle and try to target her next. Frank preferred that they win the competition so that they can be safe for the week.

12:00-1:00 AM: Nicole headed out to the kitchen and told Paulie and Frank that she told Tiffany people are after Bronte this week. Nicole said she doesn’t want to bilndside Tiffany. She suggested letting her know a day before. Frank said that something that could hurt him is if Tiffany tells Bridgette that he nominated her in week one. Frank said they shouldn’t tell Tiffany that she is going. Nicole agreed. Frank and Paulie then continued to chat. Frank said that the ideal scenario would be that they win Road Kill next week and nominate Da’Vonne. Frank wants Da’Vonne out before jury. He explained that Da’Vonne could turn the jury against them if she feels at all that they were responsible for getting her out. Frank thought that they could make it happen by giving Michelle HoH and then having Bridgette, Bronte, Natalie and the two of them vote Da’Vonne out. After Frank went upstairs, Paulie informed James that Frank said he wants to take a shot at Da’Vonne next week. He also said that Frank confirmed that Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie don’t know that he won the two Road Kill competitions. Paulie suggested that James talk to Frank about targeting him. Paulie hoped that Frank would be on board with targeting him because it would mean that he would have to throw the HoH competition to make it happen. James thought that they could also try the angle that Frank’s team has won three HoHs now and they need to let someone else get blood on their hands. Paulie thought that they could bring in Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie by having James tell them about the Eight Pack and say that Frank lied to them. He then wanted James to say that Paulie is on the outside of it and can be used to protect them as well.

3:00-4:00 AM: Frank told James that Tiffany taking all of the heat and being the target this week gives them a better shot at staying longer. James said Paulie doesn’t want her around because she is playing like Vanessa and he watched their season. James said that Tiffany is downplaying her strengths. Frank said he doesn’t think Tiffany is that smart or that good under pressure. Frank and James discussed that Bronte told Bridgette not to use the veto so things are locked in for the week. Frank mentioned that after Bronte and one or two others go, they can go after some big targets like Corey and Paulie and then the four returnees will be the only big targets left.
