Big Brother 18 Day 27 - Bridgette decides not to use the Power of Veto
July 11, 2016
11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Bridgette decided not to use the Power of Veto. Bronte, Paul and Tiffany remain nominated. Da’Vonne and Tiffany discussed that either of them have to be the one to win HoH and get Frank out of the house. Up in the HoH room, Bridgette and Bronte discussed that they are confident that they have the votes. They have been worried about Paulie being against Bronte, but Bridgette let Bronte know that Paulie reassured her that she will be safe this week. Either way, they figured that they would have the votes this week.
12:00-1:00 PM: Tiffany asked Da’Vonne and Michelle if they think that she needs to campaign. Da’Vonne told Tiffany that she has got to do what’s best for her game. Michelle said she doesn’t think that Tiffany has to campaign. Tiffany said she is unsure about which way James and Natalie will vote. Michelle told Tiffany that James has her back and will vote with the group. Tiffany asked Da’Vonne if she can find out which way Frank is voting. Da’Vonne said that Frank will vote Tiffany out in order to scare her a bit. Michelle thinks that Frank cast the lone vote to evict Bronte last week. Tiffany said she now knows why Audrey told her that this is a waiting game, because the game is long. Da’Vonne asked what Audrey told Tiffany about her. Tiffany said that Audrey didn’t say anything but Vanessa told her to trust Da’Vonne. Tiffany said she finds it funny because Da’Vonne said that she did not trust Vanessa. Da’Vonne said she didn’t but she really wanted to. Da’Vonne told Tiffany that when she got out of the house, everyone including her family said that they knew she would team up with Vanessa. Tiffany mentioned that Da’Vonne has a knockoff version of Vanessa to work with this season. Tiffany then headed outside and asked Paulie if she should campaign. Paulie said he would definitely see where people’s heads are at and present a case to them. Tiffany asked if Paulie thinks that she has the votes. Paulie said he does. He told Tiffany that he will be voting Bronte out because he likes Paul more than Bronte. Tiffany asked Paulie what his plan is for next week if he happens to win HoH. Paulie said that backdooring Frank is everyone’s plan. Tiffany asked what she should do with regards to her initial nominations if she wins. Paulie said that he would put Bridgette up there with someone else. Paulie and James then spoke in the bedroom. Paulie said that James and Corey are the only two that he will bounce strategy off of. Paulie let James know that Corey had brought up getting Bronte out but he told Corey that Tiffany is way more dangerous. Paulie said Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie wont side with Frank once they find out about Frank winning the Road Kill in weeks one and three. James said Natalie is a lot closer to her than she is to Frank, so he didn’t think that Natalie would side with Frank or support Bronte or Natalie doing that. Paulie said he doesn’t think that anybody will do anything for Frank.
1:00-2:00 PM: In the bedroom, Da’Vonne and Tiffany discussed the vote. Tiffany asked what the girls want. Da’Vonne said that they want Bronte out but she doesn’t get why they are so scared of her. Tiffany asked if she is the safest of the three. Da’Vonne said yes but suggested that Tiffany try to make nice with Frank. Tiffany thinks that she has been doing that of late. Tiffany called James a wildcard and suggested that getting James to trust them the most would be beneficial because he would go after the showmances. Da’Vonne pointed out that they will never have Nicole and Zakiyah 100% while Corey and Paulie are still in the house. They discussed getting Corey out but Tiffany said that Paulie is way more dangerous than Corey. Da’Vonne didn’t think that the houseguests would vote Paulie out. Tiffany thought that they would have to nominate Zakiyah as well since she is an automatic vote for Paulie. Tiffany called Nicole a little sketchy. Da’Vonne said that she will refocus once Corey is gone. Tiffany thinks that this year’s showmances are not on the same level as Clay and Shelli or Austin and Liz. Da’Vonne disagreed and said that Paulie and Zakiyah are. She said that they cuddle and she doesn’t believe that they have not yet kissed. Tiffany said Bridgette is someone who could help them get the showmances out once Frank is gone, because she would be playing solo at that point. However, Tiffany said she does not trust Bridgette and she could side with anyone. Tiffany told Da’Vonne that she and Michelle are the only two people that she could never personally send home.
2:00-3:00 PM: Paul spoke to Bronte about how everyone is sick of Frank. He let her know that Frank will be the next target, which means that they will all be on the jury. Paul said they should be good for the next 3-4 weeks as long as they don’t mess anything up. He explained that Frank will be gone as long as he doesn’t win HoH or play in the veto competition. Paul told Bronte that he threw the veto competition once Tiffany was out of it. He said that he let Bridgette take it because she put a bigger target on herself. Paul said he likes Bridgette but she did put him on the block. He acknowledged that Bridgette nominated him because Frank was in her ear. Moving forward, Paul advised Bronte to lay low but not play stupid. He mentioned Natalie as someone who is making people concerned by playing stupid about certain things, such as saying that she wouldn’t want to nominate anybody.
3:00-4:00 PM: James told Corey and Paulie that Da’Vonne wants HoH because she is freaking out after hearing that Frank is after her. Paulie figured that she would nominate Bridgette and Bronte originally. Paulie said that Frank would be sealing his own fate if he were to win the Road Kill and nominate one of them. Paulie told Corey that Da’Vonne would never nominate the two of them next to each other. Corey brought up that he doesn’t fully trust Da’Vonne because she has lied about a bunch of things including about Tiffany. Corey didn’t think that Da’Vonne would lie about Frank being after them when she knows that they are already after Frank. Paulie did say that he would like to get Da’Vonne out sooner rather than later if the opportunity arises. Corey agreed. Paulie suggested that Paul could be the one to do it for them.
4:00-5:00 PM: Frank and Nicole discussed the plan for next week. Nicole said she doesn’t think that Bronte is after her anymore. Frank said she isn’t a threat either. Nicole said a backdoor may be best. She said she knows that Frank is thinking Corey or Paulie. Frank said maybe but told her that he isn’t worried about them because he knows that they are never going to nominate him. Nicole said she is worried about someone sneaky. She implied that it is Da’Vonne. Frank asked her to say the name. Nicole wouldn’t say Da’Vonne’s name but she said that it is a female returnee. Frank was thinking the same thing and said that even though he doesn’t think that Da’Vonne would put him up, he doesn’t know 100%. Frank let Nicole know that Da’Vonne told him to make a Final 2 with Nicole because she worried about James and Nicole being tight. Frank clarified that he didn’t make the Final 2 with Nicole for that reason. He said he did it because she wanted the best to go up against the best. Nicole said she has felt in her gut since Day 3 that Da’Vonne is going to strike. Frank said he doesn’t trust Da’Vonne but he does trust Zakiyah, which is another reason to want to get Da’Vonne out. They discussed that Da’Vonne could be nominated as the third nominee next week. Nicole did not want anyone to know that she is considering making that move. Before the talk wrapped up, Frank told Nicole that Bridgette now knows about him winning the two Road Kill competitions. Frank then suggested to James that Bronte is not much of a threat. They talked about going after Corey or Paulie next week. James said that his team or Da’Vonne’s team will need to win HoH to do that. Frank asked James if Da’Vonne would do anything shifty. James said no. He told Frank that she would likely nominate or backdoor Corey or Paulie. James said he would put them both up so that one of them will go. Frank asked if they need to worry about getting another girl out first. James said no. Frank agreed but pointed out that Bridgette said Natalie was not happy about Tiffany going up because she wanted another guy to go. They discussed that they may have wanted Corey out. Nicole informed Corey that Da’Vonne asked Frank to make a Final 2 with her. She suggested that keeping Frank in for another week so that he can help them get Da’Vonne out would be a good idea. Corey brought up that Frank is telling Da’Vonne to nominate both he and Paulie. Nicole said that Da’Vonne wouldn’t actually do it though. Elsewhere, Michelle told Da’Vonne that she is brainstorming and wondering if Frank would go after Tiffany again next week if they were to vote Bronte out. Da’Vonne said that he wouldn’t because he would try to win HoH and figure out what happened. Da’Vonne admitted that it crossed her mind to keep Tiffany as well, seeing as Tiffany can’t stand Frank and she would give up anything to get him out. Da’Vonne said that Tiffany has calmed down a lot. Michelle agreed. Da’Vonne questioned what the point of sending her home is when she is calm and not coming after them.
5:00-6:00 PM: Da’Vonne and Tiffany spoke in the bathroom. Da’Vonne brought up that maybe the five doesn’t exist anymore. Da’Vonne said that everything in the house changes at the drop of a hat. She told Tiffany that it’s important that they start to mix and mingle with the others. Tiffany said she knows that right now she is fine. She mentioned that it’s almost like Nicole doesn’t want to be close to her. Da’Vonne said they may have got in with the wrong people. Tiffany said that Natalie is really looking for a group of girls to work with. Tiffany suggested that Natalie may feel good about it if it’s the two of them, James and Natalie. Tiffany asked who the next target would be. Da’Vonne said it would have to be Paulie after Frank because he is going to be the toughest to get out. Tiffany said she is on board because she doesn’t trust him. Tiffany figured that it would all change if Paulie were to leave because Zakiyah would be alone and Corey wouldn’t be smart enough to do anything on his own. Tiffany said she is starting to see who has really got her back and it’s just Da’Vonne. Da’Vonne said that she will be pissed if Thursday comes and something happens but she was out of the loop because they see the two of them talking. Da’Vonne noted that people get quiet when either of them walk up.
7:00-8:00 PM: Tiffany told Michelle about the alliance between Da’Vonne, Corey, Nicole, Paulie and Zakiyah. She explained that she feels on the outs and so does Da’Vonne. They hoped that the Fatal Five is still intact but Michelle said that the other alliance must be real if Nicole and Zakiyah did not tell her about it. Tiffany suggested that Da’Vonne, Michelle, James and herself could work together in addition to the Fatal Five alliance. Michelle was on board with that. Michelle hoped that the girls would choose them over Corey and Paulie. Tiffany told Michelle that they have a plan for that anyway. Tiffany said she didn’t want to freak Michelle out but rather she wanted to share information with her cause she wants her to be one of the people she can trust. Tiffany asked Michelle to keep up the facade of trusting the group 100%. Michelle said she can do that because she has already been doing that with Frank.
8:00-9:00 PM: Michelle and Tiffany continued their chat from earlier. Michelle had become worried about what Tiffany had told her. Tiffany reassured Michelle that they are still in an alliance with Nicole and Zakiyah. She said it’s just good to be aware of the other alliance that those two have. Michelle said Da’Vonne is probably not even in the alliance. She asked if Da’Vonne is in it only because Zakiyah trusts her. Tiffany said yeah. Tiffany told Michelle that Da’Vonne has complete trust in her and said that the only three who are genuine in their responses to her are the two of them and James. Michelle said Nicole and Zakiyah will obviously pick Corey and Paulie over them. Tiffany told Michelle that they don’t know that. Michelle said they wouldn’t tell them that even if it wast their plan. Michelle questioned why the girls wouldn’t have told them about the alliance if the Fatal Five wasn’t a higher priority. She figured that the boys probably know about the Fatal Five. Tiffany said that they do not. Tiffany said the good thing is that Da’Vonne is telling her stuff and she can tell Michelle stuff so that they remain in the know. As she had told Da’Vonne earlier, Tiffany told Michelle that she and Da’Vonne are the only two people that she would not nominate.
9:00-10:00 PM: Michelle told Tiffany that she believes Frank cast the vote against Bronte. The logic behind thinking that is that Frank did it in order to put a target on her with the girls on the other side or to put a target on Paul by blaming one of them. Michelle said Frank knows that she is a threat and she is on to him. Michelle asked Tiffany how she gets Da’Vonne to tell her stuff. Tiffany said that Da’Vonne trusts her because she told Da’Vonne that she and Michelle are the only ones that she trusts. Tiffany also pointed out that Da’Vonne knew she could gain her trust by being the only one to tell her that Frank was after her last week. Tiffany then brought up that Corey and Paulie are always together. Tiffany said she is 99% sure that they have a Final 2 deal. Tiffany told Michelle that she would love to have a Final 3 with Da’Vonne and Michelle. Michelle said that it would be awesome to have three girls at the end. Tiffany said she doesn’t like to see Michelle upset. Michelle said she is just hurt but she is glad that Tiffany told her about everything. Tiffany said Michelle is still in a better spot than her and the others might rope Michelle in and send her home. Michelle assured Tiffany that she would not let that happen to her.
2:00-3:00 AM: Da’Vonne told Michelle that she feels horrible and it’s hard for her to isolate Tiffany. Michelle agreed. Da’Vonne said that she doesn’t want to lie to Tiffany so she tries to tell her that she is voting with the house. Da’Vonne told Michelle that she has gotten to a point where she is going to vote for Tiffany to stay because she is her friend. Da’Vonne said they have got two days to convince five people to keep Tiffany. Da’Vonne explained that she will subtly bring it up but she doesn’t want to try to do too much. They discussed that Tiffany has asked them whether or not she should campaign. Da’Vonne said that she told Tiffany to fight for her life if she feels the need to. Michelle asked if Da’Vonne is fine with sending Bridgette out after Frank. Da’Vonne was fine with it because she thinks that Bronte is not coming after her. She said she is not coming after Michelle or Nicole either because all she is worried about is getting to jury with her BFF. Da’Vonne headed to the bathroom. Tiffany spoke with her. Tiffany informed Da’Vonne that she has seen Corey and Nicole talking with Frank twice today. Tiffany said she questioned if Frank is trying to flip the vote but Nicole assured her that she is fine. Tiffany asked if Da’Vonne knows anything. Da’Vonne said that to her knowledge people want Bronte out. Da’Vonne told Tiffany that she came her to play the game for herself so she needs to campaign if she feels like her life is in jeopardy. Tiffany said that they will lie to her either way. Da’Vonne suggested that she talk to people anyway so that they cannot say they voted her out for not even campaigning to her. Da’Vonne asked if Tiffany has talked to James. She said no. Tiffany asked Da’Vonne to do it. Da’Vonne said that she can plant the seed but Tiffany has to water it. Tiffany said it would be really stupid for them to get her out but she is worried because of all of the whispering that is going on.
3:00-4:00 AM: Tiffany told Da’Vonne that she will chill tomorrow and maybe talk to a couple more people. Da’Vonne suggested that she be fun Tiffany, crack jokes with people and laugh. Da’Vonne said that if anyone is thinking about flipping, being the fun Tiffany and being a person that can help get the plan to target Frank in motion can help her. Tiffany said that she doesn’t have a very good team and that is hurting her. Tiffany told Da’Vonne that Nicole seems fake and that something about her rubs her the wrong way. Tiffany asked Da’Vonne how she would feel if they blindsided her by voting her out and not letting her know. Da’Vonne said she would realize she is at the bottom of the totem pole and she would have to win HoH. Tiffany said it wouldn’t be fair because she didn’t do anything to anyone. Da’Vonne told her that’s Big Brother. Da’Vonne then headed back to bed.
