Big Brother 18 Day 40
July 24, 2016
5:00-6:00 PM: Nicole informed James that Frank wants her to approach James along with him to get Da'Vonne nominated. She said she doesn't want to do it but isn't sure how to handle the situation. She then told Michelle that Frank’s plan is for Michelle to use the veto so that Da’Vonne can go on the block. Michelle said she knows. Nicole let Michelle know that Frank said he has a good talk with her and she is probably going to use the veto. Michelle asked if she is serious. Frank entered the room. He asked what they are doing this week. James said he has no control. Michelle said she will do whatever everyone else wants. James reminded Frank that he only has power if certain steps are made, such as the veto being used. Frank asked James and Michelle if they need him to get a group of people together to show them that they have the numbers. Michelle said she wouldn’t use it unless they have the numbers. She told him to gather everyone in a room that will vote with Frank. James suggested a meeting so that they don’t have to beat around the bush anymore. James asked for confirmation that Da’Vonne is the one they are talking about putting on the block. Frank said if James is down to do that, since that’s obviously what he wants. Michelle asked who Bridgette and Frank would go after next week if Da’Vonne were to leave. Frank said whoever the group wants. He explained that he and Bridgette don’t even want to win HoH. He said that they wont win as long as they don’t get put up again. Frank said he doesn’t think that he or Bridgette deserve to go before Da’Vonne. Michelle asked who Frank would nominate if he won a crapshoot. Frank said probably Victor and Zakiyah. Michelle told Frank to play for himself rather than make it a package deal with Bridgette. Frank said he was taught to play the game that way by Boogie. After Frank left, James said that nobody will stand up for Frank if they have a meeting. Michelle asked if he would really nominate Da’Vonne if everyone told him to. James said no. Both Michelle and Natalie said Da’Vonne trusts James. James pointed out that one of them may be the next to go if they keep both Bridgette and Frank around and promise not to put them up. Michelle briefly argued that Bridgette should be the one to go. James said that he, as HoH, wants Frank to go. Michelle said that’s fine since it’s his HoH. Nicole made her way back up to the HoH room. Nicole asked if they are really considering nominating Da’Vonne. Michelle said no. Nicole asked why they are telling Frank to call a meeting. James said it’s so that everyone can tell him no. Nicole said it would be very silly to change the plan at this point. She said Frank will get to the end if he can get himself out of this one. Nicole then asked Michelle if she is considering using the veto at all. Michelle said no. James said Frank is done.
6:00-7:00 PM: Da’Vonne entered the HoH room. James explained that he is telling Frank he will put her on the block if Frank gets a room full of people to agree. However, James assured Da’Vonne that he will not be putting her on the block. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t understand why they have to cater to Frank if he is going home 100%. Nicole agreed. Da’Vonne said it’s hard to sit back and watch as Frank continues to fight, thinking that he has a chance to get her put on the block. James said he can go tell Frank that he is not going to put her on the block. Da’Vonne told the group to do what they need to do. She said James doesn’t have to stick his next out but she needed to vent. James again told Da’Vonne to know that she is not going up. After Da’Vonne left, Nicole said Frank needs to go. Zakiyah said he is already gone in her mind. Paulie let Nicole know that Frank is saying the stuff he said to Da’Vonne during the HoH competition was true. Nicole started to discuss that she is frustrated that Frank is making things up. She continued to deny she had told Frank that Da’Vonne said she was going after him before Victor. She also denied having made a Final 2 with Frank like he had told Michelle that she did. The group discussed whether or not they should tell Frank that he is leaving. Frank interrupted to say they could have their meeting right now because everyone but Paul is around. James said Paul needs to be there for it. Down in the bedroom, Da’Vonne said she trusts James not to put her on the block but she doesn’t get why they have to entertain Frank. Paul said it’s annoying and he would rather tell Frank that he is leaving. Nicole joined them and said that Michelle swore up and down that she is not using the veto. Paul thought that there was a lack of confidence within their group since they hold all of the power but they are still playing afraid.
8:00-9:00 PM: Paulie told Corey he wishes that Michelle would tell Frank she is not using the veto. Paulie said he loves Frank but he and Bridgette need to be broken up because they are after too many people. Paulie told Corey that he wouldn’t mind Da’Vonne going home but this is not the week. He said the two of them will be chilling once Frank goes. Corey said Da’Vonne will be gunning for them so they need to make sure that she doesn’t win anything. Paulie told Corey that he wants to win the double eviction HoH so that he can nominate Da’Vonne next to Zakiyah. He said Zakiyah will not go home. Paulie told Corey the last thing he wants is Frank to know he is going and then he somehow turns the heat on the two of them. Paulie feels that they have done a good job of bringing everyone in close. He said nobody has any idea that they are close to James. James joined them. They discussed that Michelle isn’t going to use the veto. Paulie said the only way she would use it is if she could make sure that Bridgette gets sent home. However, Paulie said Frank is more dangerous. Paulie pointed out that Bridgette is likely to come to them once Frank is gone. James asked who they are going after next. Paulie said he would like to see Da’Vonne go. He mentioned letting Bridgette take a shot at her. It was also mentioned that Paul or Victor could do it. Paulie assured James that Bridgette is not after him, though he later said he would fight for HoH if Bridgette is still in the competition just to be safe.
9:00-10:00 PM: Bridgette spoke to herself while alone in the safari room. She said they took away her friends one by one. Bridgette said she is not very good with people or at faking her emotions. On the other hand, she said that she is really good at caring too much and at isolating herself. Bridgette headed to bed for a short bit. She then said she had her moment, needs to get it together and make things happen. Bridgette headed upstairs to the HoH room where most of the houseguests were. She said she is going to overcome her social anxiety and blend in with the others. James went to the bedroom to let Da’Vonne know that everyone is on the same page and they all want Frank out. He told her to trust that the HoH has got her back. Da’Vonne said she trusts him. She then asked what they are going to do about Nicole. James said Nicole’s argument is that the stuff she said was common knowledge. He said he didn’t think that Nicole would target them. Da’Vonne then asked about Victor. James said Victor seems happy to be back. Da’Vonne suggested that they let him have HoH next week so that he can get Bridgette out for them.
11:00-12:00 AM: Corey told Nicole it’s funny that no one wants to win HoH next week. Nicole said she wants to win so that she can get Da’Vonne out. She said she will likely have to backdoor her. In the bathroom, Victor asked Paul who will be targeted once Frank leaves. Paul said that Bridgette will go home. Victor wondered if it’s best to go after Bridgette or Da’Vonne. He said Paulie told him that he is going to nominate Da’Vonne and Zakiyah if he wins HoH. Victor explained that Paulie knows those girls would want one of the guys to go. Paul said he will ask the house what to do if he wins HoH, and he expects that people will want Bridgette to go next. Victor said he wouldn’t mind Bridgette getting HoH. Victor thought that the two of them and Paulie are good with Bridgette. Paul said you never know. Paul told Victor that Bridgette was talking crap about all of them.
12:00-1:00 AM: Bridgette and Natalie had a quick chat in the have-not room. Natalie said Bridgette is safe. Bridgette said she knows that but doesn’t know what moves she has left if Frank goes. Natalie asked if Bridgette would want to talk to Michelle. Bridgette said she has tried but Michelle doesn’t want to talk to her. Natalie mentioned that Michelle will be scared that Bridgette is going to win HoH and put her up, so Bridgette has pull and it is a good time to talk to Michelle. Bridgette said she kind of wants to be the one to go if Michelle doesn’t use the veto. Natalie encouraged Bridgette to stay because she can go far in the game and possibly even win it. Bridgette explained that it’s tough because she will have to work with the people who have looked her in the eye and lied to her. She said she doesn’t know how to feel about James after he told her that she was safe and that he would nominate Paul and Victor.
1:00-2:00 AM: Natalie let James know that Bridgette would trust him moving forward. She said James would just have to talk to her more in order to regain her trust. Natalie figured that James wouldn’t care but said it could help in the event that she wins HoH. James thinks that Bridgette would nominate two girls and then put him up if her target is taken off of the block. Natalie brought up that Nicole doesn’t want a house meeting and that she looked so scared when one was being discussed. She said Nicole is playing all sides of the house, being cool with everyone, while pretending that she is not. James asked if Natalie wants him to nominate Nicole. Natalie said she is not saying that but she wants James to see what she has been observing. James asked for help with Bridgette. He wants Natalie to tell her that he wanted her to stay all along. James said he will not put Bridgette back up even if the house tells him to do so. Natalie asked James to make sure that Frank goes home. James said he will. Natalie brought up that Frank has been telling Bridgette not to talk to Michelle because he doesn’t want her to get the veto for herself. James and Natalie agreed that Bridgette thinks she will be able to stay if Frank comes off of the block. James said Bridgette would be sent home if that were to happen. James told Natalie that it’s really cute that she is getting into the game now and is talking about it 80% of the time. Natalie said it’s because she now understands it and she is getting information. She said she is still not good at it but it’s fun. Natalie let James know that she is going to work on Victor this week since she gave him a mean goodbye message. She didn’t want James to worry about the two of them getting back together. James said he trusts her.
2:00-3:00 AM: Frank told James that Da’Vonne will not leave him alone in a room with anyone. He said she is paranoid but she knows what he is up to. Frank said it’s shocking that she has not called him out yet. Frank asked if James is going to nominate Da’Vonne. He said Michelle would have to use the veto but it seems like everyone is wanting Da’Vonne to go up. Frank headed inside to speak to Michelle. He asked if she is going to use the veto. Michelle said no one has told her anything yet. Frank pointed out that she has been sleeping. Frank said James told him that everyone is throwing Da’Vonne’s name out there but he cannot do anything if she doesn’t use the veto. Frank explained that Paul, Paulie, Corey and Nicole are on board. He encouraged Michelle to speak to them and to Victor and James so that she is not just taking his word for it. Afterwards, Michelle reported back to James, Paul, Paulie and Da’Vonne. They discussed that they may have to tell Frank that nobody is voting Da’Vonne out. James told Michelle that the two of them should not have to be the ones to tell Frank since they already put the work in. He wanted the house as whole to let Frank know.
3:00-4:00 AM: Paulie, Paul and Victor discussed pulling Frank aside to let him know that the veto is not going to be used. They were about to pull him aside when James decided to leave the HoH room and call a house meeting. Everyone headed up to the HoH room. They awkwardly sat around, not talking game, for over five minutes. Da’Vonne then asked if there was supposed to be a house meeting. Frank said not the whole house. Da’Vonne said everyone except for her and maybe Zakiyah. Frank said he is not denying that. Paul pointed out that there is a veto ceremony tomorrow and everyone knows everything, so they should come to a conclusion as a group. Frank said he wants the veto used and he wants Da’Vonne nominated in his place. Michelle asked who wants Da’Vonne out. Frank said nobody will admit to it with her in the room. Da’Vonne said there is only one truth so they need to bring out the actual truth. Da’Vonne let Frank know that she respects what he is doing. Frank asked why Da’Vonne is trying to squash all of his meetings if she knows that the veto is not being used. Da’Vonne said Frank is making people feel uncomfortable. Frank said he would stop campaigning if people tell him that he is making them uncomfortable. Da’Vonne said nobody will say it with him in the room. Frank brought up that the only two people talking are the two that are going after each other. Paulie decided to step up and say it since nobody was talking. Paulie explained that they were going to pull Frank aside and talk to him. Paulie let Frank know that his efforts will not result in anything. He said that either Bridgette or Frank will be going home. Frank said that’s fine and it means that people cannot shoot straight with him. Frank thanked Da’Vonne and Paulie for having backbones. Michelle said she is sick of people saying they are going to vote Da’Vonne out when it’s not the case. Frank said it’s fine. Frank headed down to the kitchen. Paulie joined him. Frank asked who is going home. Paulie let Frank know that they want him out. Frank said it’s fine because he expected it and he would rather go home this week before jury. Zakiyah and Frank then spoke in the kitchen. They cleared the air about Frank going after Zakiyah. Frank asked if Da’Vonne believes what he told her while she was up on the wall. Zakiyah said she doesn’t even know what was going on. Zakiyah asked if it was true. Frank said yeah. Zakiyah asked if Nicole is untrustworthy. Frank said she is not trustworthy.
4:00-5:00 AM: Da’Vonne and Frank headed to the bedroom to talk. Frank said he wants Da’Vonne to believe what he told her at the end of the HoH competition. Frank said Nicole is obviously trying to play both sides. Frank suggested that Da’Vonne not keep her around. Da’Vonne admitted that she cried when Frank told him about Nicole during the HoH competition because she was pissed. Frank let Da’Vonne know that Nicole and Corey said they wanted to work with he and Bridgette. Frank said he will tell Bridgette to nominate Corey and Nicole if she wins HoH. He also said he will tell her to work with Da’Vonne moving forward. Frank called Bridgette someone who is as loyal as anyone can be. Da’Vonne said she has been watching and she knows that. Frank brought up that he was hearing Da’Vonne was dragging his name because he slapped her butt. Da’Vonne said she had her moment but then it was water under the bridge. He then mentioned hearing that she said he called her a slut. Da’Vonne said he did indeed do it but it was while they were going back and forth at each other. Da’Vonne said she did not put it out there in a manner that made it seem they were mad at each other when the comment was made. Frank explained that once he heard all of this and it seems that Da’Vonne was coming after him personally, his mindset changed when it came to her. Da’Vonne said it makes sense now as to why he suddenly was after her. Frank said Bridgette will never trust Corey, Nicole or James again. He again told Da’Vonne to work with Bridgette and befriend her. He said he will find Da’Vonne if he leaves and she screws Bridgette over. They hugged it out before ending their conversation.
