Big Brother 18 Day 41 - Michelle decides not to use the Power of Veto
July 25, 2016
9:00-10:00 AM: Bridgette told Michelle that things are really awkward. She asked if they have had a conversation about what she apparently said about her eyebrows. Michelle said she doesn’t know. She asked if Bridgette really didn’t say it. Bridgette said she doesn’t know if she said it. She told Michelle that she thinks she is judging her whole personality based on one comment. Michelle said Bridgette rolls her eyes at her too according to people. Bridgette said people have told her that Michelle has said and done a lot of things too. Bridgette told Michelle that she has been told it makes Michelle want to vomit whens he walks in a room. Michelle denied having said that. Michelle admitted that she is very self-conscious about her eyebrows and she didn’t know if Bridgette was trying to take a jab at her. Bridgette assured Michelle that she has nothing against her eyebrows. She said she doesn’t know why Michelle would hold on to something that is so silly.
10:00-11:00 AM: Bridgette pointed out that she was there for Michelle when she fainted. She said people were making fun of Michelle but she and Natalie had her back. Michelle said that at the time she wasn’t even close to the person who told her about the eyebrow comment, so she doesn’t think that they would have made it up. Bridgette again said she doesn’t know whether or not it was said. She apologized for if she did say it. Michelle said if someone crosses her, she doesn’t want anything to do with them because it makes her angry. Bridgette said she has been nice to Michelle. Michelle said who knows what she says behind her back. Michelle told Bridgette that her voice changes around different people and it seems like strategy to her. Bridgette said it’s so unfair to hold that against her when her voice changes when she is more excited and comfortable around people like Frank. Michelle said it’s not just that. She said Bridgette came in the first day and pretended not to know anything about Big Brother, acting all sweet, then all of a sudden she starts cursing and showing another side to her. Bridgette said she has tried to have a conversation with her so many times. Michelle said it’s hard for her when she knows Bridgette is saying mean things about her. Michelle told Bridgette that she has never insulted her on a personal basis. Bridgette said she has been nothing but nice to Michelle and it’s not fair that she is holding on to a grudge. She said it sucks that Michelle will not even give her a chance. Michelle felt that she had given Bridgette a chance. Michelle told Bridgette she is a threat to her. Michelle explained that she was tight with Frank but then Bridgette swooped in. Bridgette asked what else she is holding against her. She said she got close to Frank cause Frank is someone that is easy for her to be herself around. Michelle admitted that she got jealous. Bridgette said she should have told her and they could have all been friends. Michelle said she couldn’t be after the eyebrow comment. Bridgette said she feels attacked by Michelle. Then Michelle said she feels attacked by Bridgette by making it sound like she is the sole person saying these things. Michelle accused Bridgette of going up to the HoH room with Frank to talk crap about people. Bridgette said that’s a big assumption. Michelle said Bridgette is playing the whole innocent act. Bridgette again brought up that she stepped up with Natalie and told people not to make fun of Michelle’s appearance. Michelle wanted to know what was said. Bridgette said she wont say but they called her a name that was not fair. Bridgette said Michelle is friends with the person and they are a nice person, so she is not going to throw them under the bus. Bridgette said she doesn’t need Michelle to like her but she would appreciate if she would stop talking crap behind her back. Bridgette reiterated that she defended Michelle. Michelle said Bridgette wont tell her who said anything so she is going to assume that Bridgette made it up and did not defend her. Bridgette said thanks and said at least she tried to talk to Michelle.
11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Michelle decided not to use the Power of Veto. Bridgette and Frank remain nominated. Up in the HoH room, James told Da’Vonne that he was going to nominate Nicole if Michelle used the veto. Da’Vonne said Bridgette cracked last night, telling her everything. Da’Vonne let James know that Corey and Nicole were working with Bridgette and Frank. James asked if Bridgette is cool now. Da’Vonne said Bridgette doesn’t trust Nicole anymore. James said Frank told him the same thing. James asked what Bridgette will do now. Da’Vonne told James that Bridgette is trying to latch on to her. Outside, Michelle remained upset that Bridgette is trying an innocent act with her. Natalie told Michelle to put the pieces together. She asked if Michelle really thinks that Bridgette stuck up for her. Michelle said no. Natalie said she was the only person to stick up for her, so she is getting heated now that Bridgette is saying she did too. Michelle said she doesn’t want the stigma of a mean girl on her. Michelle told Natalie that she is in a very sour mood and she is scared about the possibility of Bridgette winning HoH. Elsewhere, Frank told Bridgette that he is not even making eye contact with Corey or Nicole. He said he doesn’t want to be fake with Corey. Not long after, Corey spoke to Frank. Frank told Corey that he could have clued him in a little bit about what was going on. Corey said he has been straight up with Frank the whole time. Frank said Nicole has been sketchy. Frank told Corey that Nicole would probably stick with him but he wouldn’t trust her too much. Frank explained that certain things have gotten out that only Nicole knew, so she had to have said something. Frank pointed out that Da’Vonne got so upset during the HoH competition when he told her about Nicole because Da’Vonne and Nicole were really close. Frank said Nicole is playing dirtier this season. Frank thanked Corey for talking to him. Corey said Frank hadn’t looked at him all morning and it was breaking his heart. Corey apologized to Frank. Frank said it’s fine because he gets to go home this week and he would rather leave this week than next.
12:00-1:00 PM: Back outside, Michelle continued to talk about the Bridgette situation. Natalie suggested that Michelle should hash it out with Bridgette. Michelle said she feels as though Bridgette is painting her as the leader of it all. Da’Vonne said Tiffany painted the picture that she is the ringleader. Michelle admitted that she thought about using the veto on Frank so that Bridgette would go home. However, Michelle said she wouldn’t have done that to James. James said he had a plan in place for if that were to happen. Paul came outside. Michelle asked him if he said that she looks like Buzz Lightyear. Victor had clarified the comment that had been made. Paul said he may or may not have. Paul called Buzz Lightyear a good looking toy. He clarified that the comment was made because she has big blue eyes just like Buzz Lightyear does. Michelle said it’s fine and she just wanted to know why it was said. Paul got heated over Bridgette bringing that up. He said Bridgette was the one that said she will resuscitate Michelle and shave her eyebrows off. Natalie told Michelle she has a bad memory so Bridgette may have tried to defend her. Paul said he is not going to say that she didn’t defend Michelle but he doubts that she did. Up in the HoH room, James told Natalie that she probably knows what he would have done if Michelle had used the veto. James was implying that he would have nominated Nicole. Natalie said she would have respected it. James mentioned that Nicole is trying to lay low because she knows that her name has been thrown around. He said Nicole is playing all sides of the house, so she was afraid of getting blown up about working with Bridgette and Frank. Natalie said Nicole was nervous about the house meeting last night. James said that’s why Nicole hid under the covers during it.
1:00-2:00 PM: Paulie told James that the troops are rallied and they are going for the win in the HoH competition. Paulie said Frank had Da’Vonne in a room for a very long time and then Da'Vonne was talking to Bridgette for about three hours. James said he doesn’t know how to handle a situation because it has to do with one of their own troops. Paulie asked who it is. James said Corey was supposedly working with Frank, Bridgette and Nicole in a foursome. He said Bridgette had a breakdown, told Da’Vonne and then Da’Vonne told him. Paulie said that’s not good because he has given a lot of information to Corey and he is the only one that knows about the three of them. James said Frank told him he doesn’t trust Nicole because she is really flip floppy. Paulie wondered if Da’Vonne is trying to turn them on Corey. James said he isn’t sure. James told Paulie that he saw Bridgette and Nicole leaning on each other, staring at the memory wall. He said he definitely feels that Bridgette and Nicole had an unspoken thing. Paulie brought up that Derrick said “you see a girl getting too close to one of your boys, what do you do?”. James said that’s true. James clarified that he is not saying that he wants to gun after those people but it’s something that is out there. Paulie said they will find out in time. Paulie told James that he does think Nicole is playing a different game than during her season and she might be doing something on the side. Paulie said it will be time to clip Zakiyah once Da’Vonne is gone. Paulie compared Natalie to a Victoria, saying he is not really worried about her. Paulie mentioned that Zakiyah may be a Victoria as well. Paulie said Nicole is smart and catches on to stuff as time goes on, and his thing is to clip the strategists and the strong competitors. Paul joined them and said he thinks that Bridgette needs to go before Da’Vonne. Paulie said he would feel comfortable nominating Da’Vonne and Bridgette. Paul said Da’Vonne has not won one competition. James said she almost did. Paulie said she will. Paulie was concerned that Da’Vonne would get in Bridgette’s ear. He said she will also get in Michelle’s ear and Zakiyah’s ear. Paulie figured that they could control the information that goes to the girls once Da’Vonne is gone. Paulie told Corey that Da’Vonne went to James and said that the two of them are getting too close because they were in the pool together. Corey said they should say the same about Da’Vonne and Zakiyah.
2:00-3:00 PM: Corey told James and Paulie that Nicole is scared Da’Vonne is going after her because Frank is telling people that he had a Final 2 deal with Nicole. James let Corey know that he heard from Da’Vonne that Bridgette feels she cannot trust Nicole because she is flip floppy for going back on the foursome that they had. Paulie said he thinks that Da’Vonne and Frank and then Bridgette and Da’Vonne were talking for so long to decide which information to throw out there. Corey pointed out that he and Nicole could easily have voted Da’Vonne out over Tiffany to go along with Bridgette and Frank but they didn’t. Paulie suggested that Paul infiltrate Da’Vonne like he did with Frank. James said Da’Vonne trusts him 100% and tells him everything. They discussed that Da’Vonne and Nicole are supposedly working with Frank and Bridgette. James said Da’Vonne came to him first thing this morning to say that Corey and Nicole are working with Frank and Bridgette. James went on to say that Da’Vonne said they cannot trust Nicole. Corey brought up that Frank told him earlier that he suspects Da’Vonne and Nicole are really tight. Paulie said they have to have each other’s backs and get both Da’Vonne and Bridgette out. Paulie then filled Victor in on what happened. He said that there is information that leads them to believe that Da’Vonne and Frank have been working together the whole time. He said he believes the Da’Vonne stuff but not the stuff about Nicole.
4:00-5:00 PM: The monitor in the living room played a message. It said Clues to the secret are all around you. You may want to keep it to yourself…”. The houseguests immediately started to look around the house. Before long, they were looking at the four clues on the walls that Julie showed us on Friday night. Minutes later, James attempted to dial a number on the phone upstairs. Natalie told James that the airplane says “Flight 211” on it and that is the number of the flight to Paris on the departure board. Bridgette pointed out to Frank that there is a word in green on each of the signs. Michelle woke up and said maybe there is a secret room. She said they could try dialling the numbers on the phone. However, she decided to stay on the couch rather than try it. Paul said he thinks that he has figured it out. He then ran to each of the clues. James asked him if he realized that each room has a sign. Paul said yeah and told James that he might have figured it out. In the HoH room, Paulie and Zakiyah were trying to figure out where Paris is, since that flight is listed as departing on the departure board.
5:00-6:00 PM: Michelle looked around in the phone booth and saw stuff beyond the wall when she crouched down and looked through a crack. She showed Zakiyah and Da’Vonne as well. Michelle then told Paul that she saw something. Elsewhere, both Natalie and Da’Vonne pointed out that Paris is departing now. Paul correctly dialled the number. A recording played and congratulated him for finding the secret destination. He was given instructions on how to reach the secret room. He was told that the tunnel will open in five seconds unless he leaves the phone booth. He was informed that he could leave the phone booth and return when the coast is clear, again calling Paris to open the tunnel. Paul ran out of the phone booth and told the others that he doesn’t think it has anything to do with the phone. Paul let Corey and James know that he thinks he has it. He said he needs everyone to disperse so that he can figure it out. Paul asked to be left alone but nobody would leave him alone. Paul told Corey and James that once he figures it out, they can pull Paulie in and make a decisions as a guys group. Not long after, Paul headed back into the phone booth. Both Bridgette and Natalie asked him to give them a chance to dial. Paul decided to go for it. He called Paris, listened to the recording and entered through the tunnel even though others were watching. Once inside of the secret room, Paul found out that there are 12 envelopes to choose from. Paul was able to choose one. Inside of 11 of the 12 envelopes are one way tickets. Inside one is a round trip ticket. Once evicted, the envelope will be opened on stage. If you have the round trip ticket, you will go right back into the house. Paul chose his envelope and left the room. He told the others that Paris is hidden upstairs. He said he had to pick one envelope that may reward him with a round trip somewhere. Paul said he won’t find out if he got anything until he leaves the house, because he is not allowed to open it. Victor questioned if someone else could go up there. Paul said he doesn’t know. Da’Vonne pointed out that Paul said there are more cards. Natalie said she thinks someone else can still get in there. Victor agreed, saying that multiple people can go up and grab the cards until they are all gone.
6:00-7:00 PM: The other houseguests attempted to enter the secret room. Before long, Victor successfully made his way in. Feeds then went down. When they returned, Michelle was in the secret room. She grabbed the final envelope, meaning that everyone else must have made it into the secret room while the feeds were down. Da’Vonne said that of course Big Brother does this the week that Frank is set to go home. Paulie said they know that there no possibility of craziness once Bridgette and Frank leave. Paulie asked if they should try to convince everyone to open their envelopes at the same time so that they are all void. James and Paul said Bridgette and Frank would never do that. In the safari room, Nicole spoke to Victor about how she is upset that Corey didn’t tell her the code to the secret room as soon as he found out about it. Victor was the one to tell Nicole. Nicole asked Victor if he would have pulled someone aside to tell them if he liked them. Victor said yeah. Nicole said Natalie told James right away so she doesn’t get why Corey didn’t tell her right away.
7:00-8:00 PM: Outside, Nicole asked Corey if he is mad at her. Corey said he is not. Nicole said he is. Corey asked if Nicole wants to talk. Nicole said yeah. She told Corey she expected him to do exactly what Natalie did with James. She said it’s fine though and is not a big deal. Nicole said she would have pulled Corey aside immediately to tell him. Corey said he did that, telling her to “come here”. He said it’s weird that Nicole doesn’t trust him with it when he tells her everything. Corey said he isn’t sure why he is in trouble when everyone else figured out the code on their own. Nicole told Corey that she is the sole reason he woke up since she had to talk Paulie into waking him up. Corey said he would have found out about it anyway. Nicole said her feelings were hurt that Corey didn’t come out and tell her right away. Corey said he didn’t want to say it in front of the guys in case they would get mad at him for doing so. Nicole insisted that she is not mad about it. Corey said she was mad about it. Up in the HoH room, Da’Vonne said she is tired of going back to pre-jury. She said she is ready to move forward. Paulie said if Frank returns on Thursday, he will make everyone open their envelopes right away before a swap can be made. Big Brother then cut the feeds.
8:00-9:00 PM: In the storage room, Zakiyah told Paulie that Frank asked her who she trusts. She said she replied by saying she trusts Paulie and Nicole. She said Frank then told her that she should only be trusting one of the two. He then mouthed that Paulie is the one she should be trusting. Paulie figured that Frank was trying to throw things out there in order to give Bridgette the best shot at staying moving forward. Zakiyah said the stuff that Frank said seemed legit since he threw out a bunch of different things that included Nicole. Not long after, Michelle let Zakiyah know that Frank told her not to trust Da’Vonne. At that point, Zakiyah said she is not going to believe anything Frank or Bridgette have to say.
9:00-10:00 PM: Nicole was still upset about Corey not telling her the code right away. She told Corey that she would have told him it as soon as she found out. Corey said he didn’t like how she reacted. He apologized to her anyway. Nicole said it’s okay, she understands and she is over it. Corey said she sounds like she is on edge still. Nicole insisted that it was nothing and that she is not mad. Nicole worried that they would air a segment about it. They then talked a bit of game, with Corey telling Nicole that Frank said Da’Vonne and Nicole are really tight. Nicole said that’s the furthest thing from the truth. Meanwhile, in the bedroom, Paul told Paulie that Nicole is slowly digging her own grave. Paulie said they should let it happen. Paul suggested that they fuel the fire.
10:00-11:00 PM: Corey came out of the diary room. He let Nicole know that they made him talk about what happened between the two of them. Nicole was not happy about it. She asked Corey if he thinks she overreacted. Corey said she did overreact a bit. Nicole didn’t think that she was a brat. Corey questioned why they are still talking about it when it was not a big deal at all. Corey informed Nicole that Bridgette told Da’Vonne they have been working with Frank and Bridgette. Nicole said she cannot believe how much Frank outs everybody, telling everyone everything. She said Frank plays a dirty game, using anything he can to make people mad at each other. She didn’t understand why Frank was going around telling people that they had a Final 2 deal. Nicole mentioned that Frank has no idea everyone has been trying to get him out but she and Corey had his back. Nicole told Corey that she is sick of getting glared at all the time when she didn’t do anything. She started to cry when she brought up that Frank calling her out during the HoH competition will definitely air on TV. Nicole said she will look like a snake when she isn’t one.
