Big Brother 18 Day 45 - Bridgette and Paulie are nominated
July 29, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Paulie and James spoke in the have-not room. Paulie told James that he volunteered to go on the block. Paulie said he feels comfortable up there next to Bridgette or somebody else. James brought up that Nicole said she would go up. Paulie explained that while she had offered to go up, she then came back and said people are questioning why Natalie is not going up instead. Paulie said that Corey also offered to go on the block. As for Victor, Paulie said that he straight up told Paul that he would be pissed if he went on the block. Paulie thought it was best to keep Victor close and on their side until they pick him off. Paulie let James know that Nicole was not happy about Natalie’s reasons for not wanting to go on the block. He also mentioned that she was upset that Natalie was saying those things while she was up there trying to have a serious conversation. Paulie told James that after Nicole asked Paul if he wants eight people mad at him for not nominating Natalie, he eventually agreed to be the pawn. James said Natalie is a good person to fill a spot on the block, but she is not someone that you want to rely on to win the veto. Paul had said he wanted someone up there who is a good competitor.
11:00-12:00 PM: The houseguests were informed about the America’s Care Package twist. Michelle said this will be a twist to see if America sides with her or with Bridgette. Michelle asked Reddit to send her something good. Michelle asked Zakiyah who she thinks will receive the care packages. Zakiyah said Corey, Da’Vonne, James, Michelle and she is not sure about the fifth one. In the bedroom, Da’Vonne said that even though people are hoping to get a care package, they should be careful since you never know what the next one might be. Michelle mentioned that one of them may be a have-not pass. Da’Vonne and Michelle agreed that Bridgette might get the first care package since she is expected to go home this week. Paulie said that getting sent the care packages is just like the Hunger Games. Da’Vonne mentioned that the fans already know what the five care packages are, so they will vote on them according to what the future ones are as well. James didn’t think that the first person would get the best care package. He said they will want to keep up the hype for later on. Michelle said she hopes America doesn’t like Bridgette. James said Michelle has to understand that America likes an underdog. Da’Vonne didn’t think that Bridgette is an underdog. Da’Vonne thought that it would be awkward when they have to open the care packages in front of everybody. Michelle said she is glad that it is not being done like the MVP twist where the same person was able to get it every week. It was then time to reveal who received the first care package. Natalie received the never-not pass. Natalie thanked America and said she loves America. Natalie said she is really excited because she didn’t think she would get anything.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole brought up that one of Natalie’s reasons for not going on the block was that she is a have-not, so that no longer applies. Nicole figured that Natalie received this care package because everyone else’s family wanted them to receive a better one. Paulie joined Corey, Nicole and Michelle. He said he keeps messing with Natalie by saying that now there is no excuse for her not to be on the block. Michelle said they as a group should go to Paul to tell him that Natalie should be on the block. Paulie said Zakiyah wants Natalie gone. Michelle said she wants her gone because she is getting on her nerves lately. Nicole said Natalie has changed and is cocky. Michelle asked if Paulie thinks that Paul would nominate Natalie if they all told him to. Paulie said yes. Michelle asked if Paulie wants them to talk to Paul. Paulie said he doesn’t care but if it was up to him he would be nominating Natalie every single week until it was time to cut her. Victor headed upstairs. He told Paul that Corey, Michelle, Nicole and Paulie are talking about how Natalie doesn’t do anything and they would like to see her on the block. Paul said he would talk to Paulie but he doesn’t care what the other ones think. Paul said he would nominate Natalie if Paulie doesn’t feel comfortable about going up.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole brought up that one of Natalie’s reasons for not going on the block was that she is a have-not, so that no longer applies. Nicole figured that Natalie received this care package because everyone else’s family wanted them to receive a better one. Paulie joined Corey, Nicole and Michelle. He said he keeps messing with Natalie by saying that now there is no excuse for her not to be on the block. Michelle said they as a group should go to Paul to tell him that Natalie should be on the block. Paulie said Zakiyah wants Natalie gone. Michelle said she wants her gone because she is getting on her nerves lately. Nicole said Natalie has changed and is cocky. Michelle asked if Paulie thinks that Paul would nominate Natalie if they all told him to. Paulie said yes. Michelle asked if Paulie wants them to talk to Paul. Paulie said he doesn’t care but if it was up to him he would be nominating Natalie every single week until it was time to cut her. Victor headed upstairs. He told Paul that Corey, Michelle, Nicole and Paulie are talking about how Natalie doesn’t do anything and they would like to see her on the block. Paul said he would talk to Paulie but he doesn’t care what the other ones think. Paul said he would nominate Natalie if Paulie doesn’t feel comfortable about going up. Paulie headed up to the HoH room. Paul said everyone hates Natalie but if they were to play it smart it would still be Paulie going on the block. Victor said he doesn’t want his boy on the block. Paul said he doesn’t either but he wouldn’t put him on the block unless he was sure that Paulie would be safe. Paul clarified that he still wants Bridgette to go but he is fine with Da’Vonne leaving as well. Paulie said he is comfortable with going on the block. Victor worried that Da’Vonne would try to flip the votes to save Bridgette if nominations stay the same. After Victor left the room, Paul asked Paulie if he is comfortable with going up. Paulie said yes. They discussed that Victor will do whatever they say for now. Both agreed that they are fine with keeping him around for a bit. Paulie said that Michelle is the only girl he is afraid of after Da’Vonne and Nicole are gone. Paulie said he will get another strong girl out next week if he wins HoH. Victor said he would nominate Natalie and Nicole. He wants to be the one to get Natalie out because she said he is disrespectful to women in her goodbye message. In the safari room, James told Natalie that Paulie told him Nicole went upstairs again last night to ask why Paul isn’t nominating Natalie. James said Nicole will smile in their face saying she was volunteering to go up even though she was trying to get Natalie up there. James said Nicole is the type of person that will be cool with them until her back is against the wall, then she will throw them under the bus 100%. However, James said they have to take what Paulie said with a grain of salt. Both James and Natalie agreed that they could see Nicole saying that. James said Paulie might have been going up all along and just wanted to look like the hero though.
1:00-2:00 PM: Paulie told Bridgette that it looks like the two of them will be going on the block together. Paulie explained that there is a plan in place to have the veto used so that somebody else can be nominated and evicted. Bridgette asked if the target is Da’Vonne. Paulie said that’s what he wants. Bridgette said she does too. Bridgette admitted that she expected to go up as a pawn since she used Paul as one. Paulie said people wanted her to go on the block as well. Bridgette asked if they have the votes to send Da’Vonne out over either of them. Paulie said yes. He mentioned that everyone but Da’Vonne is likely to use the veto on either of them. Paulie threw Nicole’s name out there as a target for either next week or the week after. He also said that Natalie may go next week because Michelle and Zakiyah want her gone. Bridgette asked Paulie who the votes against Da’Vonne would be. Paulie said whichever one of them comes down, Victor, James, Corey and Natalie. Paulie said Nicole also wants Da’Vonne gone. Paulie said the two of them and Paul have seven competition wins between them, so no one is going to beat all three of them.
2:00-3:00 PM: Paulie told Bridgette that Da’Vonne will say and do whatever she needs to. He said weak minded people will fall for it, especially when you are running on little sleep. He explained it becomes easier for things to sink in and for you to be manipulated when that happens. Paulie said there will be no such thing as an alliance this season for as long as Da’Vonne is in the house. Paulie mentioned that everyone bashes Cody’s season because there was an alliance that actually stuck together and picked everybody off. Bridgette said Big Brother 16 was one of her favourites. Paulie said it got the highest ratings. Paulie told Bridgette that Da’Vonne came into the game with a chip on her shoulder because everyone told her she would have won had she been able to keep her mouth shut. He figured that she now wants to prove them right. He said he is not going to let that happen. Paulie then said he has no problem calling Da’Vonne out and telling her that she is not going to win, if she ends up getting picked to play in the veto competition.
6:00-7:00 PM: The feeds returned following the nomination ceremony. Paul nominated Bridgette and Paulie for eviction. Up in the HoH room, Paul told Victor to keep doing what he is doing. Paul said to lay low and keep being fun, because Victor is off of people’s radars. Paul offered up one piece of advice, telling Victor not to spend so much time around him this week. He said he doesn’t need Victor to reassure him that they are good. Bridgette then headed upstairs to speak with Paul. Paul apologized if his speech was harsh. He said he had to play a part. Bridgette looked for reassurance that Paul is not planning to get her out. Paul said he would have told her she is going home if that were the case. Paul told Bridgette that Michelle and Zakiyah are the only two people that Da’Vonne may be able to get on her side. Paul asked Bridgette to trust him, telling her that things will go the right way if she does that. If not, Paul said he will not have control. Down in the have-not room, both Michelle and Nicole told Paulie that they would the veto on him if they were to win it. In the kitchen, Da’Vonne told Bridgette that she needs to push for Nicole to go on the block. Bridgette said the first step is to win the veto because she has to come off of the block. Bridgette then headed to the storage room. She told herself that she just has to win and then she will be fine.
7:00-8:00 PM: Michelle asked Paul who he plans to pick to play in the veto competition if he draws a houseguest’s choice chip. Paul said that he would probably pick Victor. Michelle asked if he would use the veto. Paul expects that Victor would use it on Paulie. After the room cleared out, Paul told Paulie that Bridgette said the two of them are such straightforward, good dudes and she trusts the two of them the most. Paul said PP is kicking it. Paulie said they can just have fun. Paul said he will put homegirl (Da’Vonne) up, then whichever one stays they will turn to them and say trust them. They discussed that Michelle wants to nominate Natalie. Paul said leaving her off the block was a good idea since it will make the girls want to go after her more. Michelle and Nicole attempted to sneak off to the Paris room. Corey and Paulie followed not long after. Michelle asked who Victor wants out next. Paulie said Da’Vonne and Natalie. Michelle said it wouldn’t be bad if he won HoH then. Paulie agreed.
8:00-9:00 PM: Bridgette was alone in the bedroom. She looked to the camera and said the whole house is against her. She said she doesn’t have Frank and needs to win the veto. Bridgette said it’s pretty lonely for her. Later, Da’Vonne was alone in the bedroom and spoke to the camera as well. Da’Vonne said she is playing the game the best way she knows how. She admitted that some moments are really ugly. Da’Vonne asked that people keep sending her positive energy and pray for her. She said she will try to pull the win out but it’s going to be hard. Da’Vonne said she is by herself, surrounded by showmances and friends duos.
10:00-11:00 PM: Michelle told Paulie she thinks she needs to be careful about what she says about Natalie around Da’Vonne. She worried that Da’Vonne would tell Natalie. Paulie said Da’Vonne’s game is to tell anybody anything. Paulie said he doesn’t trust Da’Vonne at all. Paulie mentioned that Da’Vonne is saying a lot about Nicole, so he thinks Nicole must have a lot of stuff on her and therefore has become Da’Vonne’s target. Paulie said Da’Vonne would leave if it’s up to him. Paulie told Michelle that Da’Vonne wanted Nicole on the block. Michelle asked if it was as a pawn. Paulie said no and told Michelle that’s why he ultimately volunteered. Paulie said Da’Vonne has been doing the exact same thing Frank has been doing. Michelle said she trusts Paulie’s judgment more than anyone in the house and she has his back. Paulie said he sees Da’Vonne as the bigger threat because Bridgette has no one and is not going to hurt anybody. Paulie thought that Da’Vonne would be the first one to rally the floaters in order to take someone out that she wants out. He said Da’Vonne is clearly trying to form something to blow up other things that are going on, seeing as she has told James about it. Michelle said Da’Vonne can go this week or during the double. Paulie wants to get her out this week. Michelle was pissed off about Da’Vonne wanting Nicole up so badly. She thought that Natalie should have went up. Michelle said she is down for whatever this week. She asked that people have her back next week if Bridgette wins HoH.
11:00-12:00 AM: Michelle told Nicole she would like to win the double eviction HoH since there is no time for the votes to flip. Nicole asked who she would put up. Michelle said Bridgette and Victor if Bridgette doesn’t go this week. Nicole asked if people are wanting Da’Vonne out. Michelle said she thinks so. Nicole said that’s fine with her. Michelle said she doesn’t think that Da’Vonne would ever win HoH. Nicole said she cannot imagine what Da’Vonne would do if she were to get in power. Michelle asked what happened between Da’Vonne and Nicole. Nicole mentioned that she a gut feeling about her since Day 3, then she cannot trust her after everything that Tiffany told her. Nicole told Michelle that all the boys, including James, want Da’Vonne out. Michelle asked how close Nicole is to James. Nicole said they don’t talk a lot of game but it would be hard for them to backstab each other. Michelle said James rubs her the wrong way at times, such as when he breaks promises. Nicole asked how Michelle feels about getting Da’Vonne out. Michelle said she is on board but she is definitely afraid that Bridgette will win and put her up.
2:00-3:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Paulie told Zakiyah he thought that they had decided he would be sleeping up there and Zakiyah would be sleeping downstairs with Michelle. Zakiyah asked when she said that. Paulie said he thought that’s what went down earlier when said he would sleep with Paul. Zakiyah said no but that’s cool. She then left. Zakiyah went to Michelle and questioned what she did to Paulie. Zakiyah said she will tune him all the way out. Michelle said she wants to punch Paulie because she doesn’t like when guys treat her friends bad. Zakiyah said she doesn’t deal well with attitudes like that. Zakiyah claimed that she doesn’t like Paulie anymore and doesn’t find him attractive anymore. Michelle said Paulie has Paul but Zakiyah has her and Nicole. Zakiyah started crying. Michelle told her not to since she is there for her and to win $500,000.
3:00-4:00 AM: Zakiyah headed up to the HoH room. The lights were out so she headed back downstairs. Paulie came downstairs to ask her if she is good. Zakiyah asked if Paulie is okay. Paulie said he is fine but doesn’t like little comments that she makes such as one asking if Natalie can do Paulie’s nails. Paulie brought up that she said she went in on her diary room session. Paulie said Zakiyah made a comment about professional athletes. He explained he was one and therefore he takes it personally when she does. Zakiyah said he is assuming so much because it was not directed towards him. Zakiyah then said the comment about the nails should not be an issue. Paulie told Zakiyah she made it an issue a couple of days ago. Zakiyah questioned why Paulie didn’t talk to her when the comment was made earlier tonight. Paulie said he is focused on the competition. Zakiyah said they don’t have to act like this because it is making her uncomfortable. Paulie told her to not even bring up uncomfortable when a girl can’t even look at him a certain way or touch him a certain way without her getting upset. Paulie said if she is trying to put this on him and say he is making her uncomfortable, he will end the conversation right now. Zakiyah said she is not going to go back and forth with Paulie. Zakiyah said she doesn’t want to go to bed feeling like this. Paulie said he wants to go to bed because there is a competition tomorrow. Paulie pointed out that he went on the block because Zakiyah didn’t want to and was the only one that didn’t want to. Zakiyah cried and said he is making her feel bad for no reason. Paulie said he is going to step out then, because he is not trying to make people feel bad. Zakiyah said the two of them are not effective communicators. Paulie asked how many times they have to have the same conversation over and over again. Paulie didn’t like that Zakiyah said he made her uncomfortable. She changed it and said she had her feelings hurt. Paulie said he can apologize if that’s the case but this is high school stuff. The back and forth continued for a while until they hugged it out and headed to bed.
