Big Brother 18 Day 47 - Da'Vonne finds out that she is the likely replacement nom
July 31, 2016
5:00-6:00 AM: James asked Corey if he has talked to Paul or Paulie if they know what they are going to do with the veto. Corey said that the plan is for Da’Vonne to go up. James mentioned that they are getting down a point where they are cool with everyone left in the house. James asked who Victor would send home if he were to win the double next week. Corey said Paulie was saying that Victor can go after Bridgette and Zakiyah. James pointed out that Paulie is talking about getting his own girl out. Corey didn’t get why Zakiyah has been acting the way that she has been of late. Corey thinks that Paulie wants Victor to take Zakiyah out for him. James said he would probably have to nominate someone like Natalie next to her in order to do it. James told Corey that Natalie would be a good person to take to the end. James threw out the idea of it being Corey, Paulie, Natalie, Nicole and himself as opposed to bringing people that can win.
6:00-7:00 AM: James told Corey he wants to talk to Paulie about how long he wants to work with Bridgette, Paul and Victor. Corey said Bridgette trusts he and Paulie the most right now and said that she will do whatever they want her to do. Corey said they can take her out whenever but he doesn’t think that she would ever come after either of them or Paulie. Corey said he thinks that Bridgette understands Frank had a big mouth and people didn’t like that, so she wont hold that move against James. Corey said he has some information that can hopefully make Bridgette go after a couple of people. Corey feels that Bridgette is hungry to get the girls out. He said Michelle is going to be good at those mental competitions down the road. Corey said Zakiyah wont ever win anything. James said she is floating. He said he explained to Natalie that she can’t be using not being able to win competitions as an excuse to not go on the block, because people are going to put her up. They discussed that the numbers are getting smaller and they only need 3 or 4 votes to stay after this week. Corey said they just have to make sure they don’t end up on the block together. Corey hopes that the double eviction is this week since a lot of people want Bridgette, Da’Vonne and Victor out, so it should be one of those people. James said you would have to backdoor Victor because he has a 70-80% chance of winning the veto. Corey suggested nominating Bridgette and Zakiyah. He thought that they could get Victor to do that. James said they would vote Zakiyah out if that’s what Paulie wants. Corey said Bridgette would probably go and then they could try to get Victor out the next week since he wouldn’t be able to play.
7:00-8:00 AM: Corey and James were in the kitchen, looking at the memory wall. Corey talked about how the people who have left up to this point were making a lot of deals. He said he is fine with being cool with a lot of people but the ones who are going around making official deals are seeing it blow up in their faces. James said he can say that he has never made a final deal with anyone in the house. James mentioned that around the Final 6 is when you start thinking about making those types of deals. Corey said a lot of them work really well together and they are really close. James said everybody is. He said there are only maybe three people who do not work well together. James told Corey that he would never put Corey, Paulie, Nicole or Natalie up.
12:00-1:00 PM: Once the other houseguests started to wake up, they spent some time around the pool. There was little game talk. Some of the discussion was focused on past seasons. Nicole brought up that she did not understand why the houseguests thought that it was a good move to let both of the twins enter the game last season. She also didn’t like that the people on the block chose who got to go home, such as when the twins did and when Clay and Shelli were nominated together. Michelle said Johnny Mac thinks that his season is one of the worst. Michelle hoped that this season would be good. She said there are a lot of big personalities and she thinks that casting wanted to step it up from last year.
1:00-2:00 PM: Michelle and Nicole continue to lay out in the sun and chat about Big Brother. Michelle admitted that she had no idea what Big Brother was until 2013. She thought that it was a show in which you compete with your siblings, particularly your big brother. However, she said that she got really into it once she started watching. She told Nicole that she watched Big Brother Australia and Canada seasons as well. Michelle asked Nicole if Paul knows who he is putting up as a pawn yet. Nicole said no. She asked if Michelle has heard anything. Michelle said that from the sounds of it, it doesn’t seem like Paul really wants to make the backdoor move. Michelle and Natalie then chatted. Michelle told Natalie that she has said some personal things about people that she wishes she hadn’t. Natalie told her that they have all said those things. The two agreed that they would do the show all over again. Michelle said she is living out her dream and it’s fun to be a part of something that she loves so much. Michelle worried that people on the outside would think that she is mean. Natalie said Michelle will have lots of fans and nobody will think that she is mean.
2:00-3:00 PM: Bridgette quickly checked in with Victor. She told him to let her know if she needs to do anything. She said she has the back of the guys. Victor told Bridgette that she should be fine as far as he knows. Back outside, the houseguests discussed Big Brother 16. Nicole said Caleb was very entertaining. Michelle said she really liked him. Natalie asked if Caleb was really that obsessed with Amber. Nicole said it honestly wasn’t that bad. Nicole wanted to know which houseguests that Michelle had a crush on from her season. Michelle said she thought Hayden was cute at first and she also really liked Zach. As for Big Brother 15, she said McCrae was cute. She said she thinks they expected her and Paul to be attracted to each other because they asked her about him.
3:00-4:00 PM: Paul told James that his goal is to get Bridgette out this week. Paul asked how James feels about Da’Vonne. James said she has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Paul said Da’Vonne will be the replacement nominee but it is not his objective to get her out, though he will respect the house’s decision if they want her out. Paul said he knows that both Da’Vonne and Bridgette want to go after Nicole. Paul feels that Bridgette is the bigger threat because she is a good competitor. James let Paul know that he is close with Da’Vonne and she does not bring Paul’s name up. Paul said he made it clear that he wants Bridgette out but it is out of his control once he makes the nomination. James said Paul could replace Paulie with someone like Natalie. Paul said he doesn’t want to do that. James said he doesn’t want that to happen either but the house will have no choice but to vote Bridgette out if someone other than Da’Vonne goes up. Paul asked James if he thinks that Da’Vonne will get voted out. James said he thinks a few people would vote her out. Paul didn’t think they would have enough votes to get her out. James said it would be close. James told Paul he is worried about him since his speech was very blunt with Bridgette. Paul said he could talk to her after the fact depending on what happens. Paul told James that Da’Vonne has said and done a few things that he is not too happy about for he or his friends. James said it’s Paul’s HoH. Paul said his goal is to get Bridgette, though he knows that Da’Vonne has said stuff about him in the past even though she isn’t saying anything now. Paul said Da’Vonne volunteered to go up and he wants to put someone up who is not going to freak out. Paul said it’s saying something if the house agrees to vote Da’Vonne out over Bridgette even after everything Bridgette has done. Paulie joined them. James said Michelle and Zakiyah want Bridgette out. Paulie said those are the only two votes against her. Paulie said Frank told Bridgette to trust he and Corey, so they can protect James and Paul with her. Paulie suggested that Bridgette could be used to get Victor out when needed. Paulie said Da’Vonne is the only one that can unite the girls. Paul agreed. Paulie discussed how Da’Vonne and Zakiyah are close. He told James and Paul that Zakiyah said they are floating under the radar. James asked if Zakiyah would put the two of them up. Paul said he wouldn’t be surprised. Paulie said he wouldn’t be surprised if she put him put either. Paul pointed out that they will continue to control the votes as long as they keep putting girls up. Paul said he knows what he will be saying to Da’Vonne. He mentioned not being happy that Bridgette will still be there but he trusts Paulie’s judgment. James said Da’Vonne likely wouldn’t take a shot at him but she would take a shot at Paul, Paulie, Corey or Nicole, so he wants to protect them.
4:00-5:00 PM: Paulie told James and Paul that Victor is not a threat to them as long as there are still girls in the house. James said he can become one as the girls start to leave. The other guys agreed, though Paul said he knows for a fact that Victor is not after any of them right now. He said Victor gravitates towards power and he is confident that they are in power and will continue to win. After, Da’Vonne headed upstairs to talk to Paul. Paul said he need to nominate someone who is not going to freak out. Da’Vonne asked about Natalie going up. Paul said that Natalie will freak out, and he wants someone to go up that he can trust to stay calm and not spread paranoia because Bridgette is going home. Paul said he doesn’t want to put Da’Vonne in that situation but he knows that she trusts him. Da’Vonne asked why he wouldn’t just put someone up who has not been on the block yet. Paul said they would get paranoid. Da’Vonne suggested nominating Nicole, Zakiyah or Victor. Paul shot all of those options down. Da’Vonne said the only reason she doesn’t want to go on the block is because she doesn’t trust Corey and Nicole. Paul assured her that Corey and Nicole want Bridgette gone. Da’Vonne told Paul that she is a pretty big target if she goes up. Paul said he doesn’t think that she is a target at all. He told Da’Vonne he hopes that she would trust the decision he makes, though his mind is not made up yet. Da’Vonne said it would suck to be the person who was happiest that he won HoH and then to go home during his reign. Paul said there is no way that Da’Vonne will go. Da’Vonne told Paul that people don’t look at the HoH as the HoH anymore once the veto ceremony happens, since their reign is over. She pointed out that people vote against the HoH wishes all the time. Ultimately, Da’Vonne asked Paul to let her know ahead of time if he plans to put her up.
Paul then spoke to Bridgette. He told her that the plan is pretty much done. Paul said Bridgette has to play her role because Da’Vonne is saying that she seems to be confident and comfortable. Bridgette said Da’Vonne has been approaching her about throwing Nicole under the bus. Paul told Bridgette that Da’Vonne just said Bridgette approached her about the same thing. Paul said Da’Vonne threw Zakiyah under the bus right away, trying to get her on the block. He pointed out that it shows he can’t rely on her to have his back. Bridgette said she wants to pick off the girls one by one, since she believes that they would be coming after her. Meanwhile, Da’Vonne told Zakiyah that it sounds like she is going on the block. She said it makes her feel as though she is not part of the group or she is at the bottom of it. Zakiyah said she is a vote to keep Da’Vonne but she doesn’t trust Corey and Nicole to be. Da’Vonne said she is not expecting votes from either of them. Da’Vonne went over her conversation with Paul, saying he had excuses for why all of the others couldn’t go on the block. Da’Vonne said it wasn’t adding up since Paul cared about them freaking out but didn’t care that she is freaking out. Zakiyah said she is pissed off because she thought that Bridgette was the clear target this week. They discussed the votes. They figured that Michelle and James would save Da’Vonne. Natalie was a question mark. Zakiyah thought that Paul would vote Bridgette out if it were to come down to a tie. Da’Vonne then asked Natalie which way she would vote if she goes up. Natalie said it would put her in a tricky situation but she would vote for Da’Vonne if she wants her to. Da’Vonne said she knows that Bridgette is Natalie’s friend, so she would understand if she wanted to vote for her. Natalie said Da’Vonne is her friend too.
5:00-6:00 PM: Da’Vonne told Zakiyah she doesn’t think that she will have Natalie’s vote since Natalie was saying that Bridgette was her first friend and it would put her in a bad spot. Da’Vonne then told James that she may be going on the block. Da’Vonne said Paul was ruling everyone else out because they would freak out, yet he is still considering putting her up even though she was freaking out. Da’Vonne feels as though Nicole is the one running around playing both sides, so she didn’t understand why Nicole wouldn’t be going up. When Da’Vonne left the room, James told Zakiyah that Da’Vonne thinks she will be going home if she is nominated. Zakiyah said that’s not fair. Zakiyah told James that even if both parties screwed her over, getting Da’Vonne out is benefitting somebody else’s game. Zakiyah said Da’Vonne would not be after James, Michelle, Natalie, herself or even Paul or Paulie. Zakiyah planned to tell Paulie that she will not be voting against Da’Vonne. Paul told James that he wants Bridgette gone but it’s up to the house. James told Paul that Zakiyah said she will be voting to keep Da’Vonne. Paul said they had already accounted for her and Michelle to vote that way. Paul asked what Natalie would do. James said she would probably keep Bridgette. James told Paul that Zakiyah said it’s not good for her game to get rid of Da’Vonne, then she said Da’Vonne is not after Paul, Paulie or himself. Paul said he didn’t like how she started the statement with “it’s not good for her game”. Paul said Zakiyah doesn’t know that Da’Vonne quickly threw her name out as an option to go on the block.
6:00-7:00 PM: Paul told James he does not like that Da’Vonne went and relayed information. James said Da’Vonne really does trust him though, which is making him feel like crap. Paul asked why James wasn’t in the Final 4 that Da’Vonne mentioned last night if she trusts him. The Final 4 consisted of Da’Vonne, Paul, Paulie and Zakiyah. James worried that he would be on the block if Bridgette wins HoH. Paul explained that he told Bridgette it was a move against Frank, not her. He said she understood but isn’t sure if she can trust James fully yet. That made James think that he could still go up if Bridgette were to win. Paul said she claims to be after Nicole and either Zakiyah or Michelle. Paul told James that he too could be taking a risk by keeping Bridgette and trusting the judgment of others. James said he is trusting Corey’s and Paulie’s judgment. Out by the hot tub, Zakiyah told Paulie that Da’Vonne is expecting to go up after her talk with Paul. Zakiyah told Paulie that she thinks they should be straight up with Da’Vonne if she is going to go. Paulie said 100%. Zakiyah asked if Bridgette is coming after her if by chance she stays and wins something. Paulie said no. Da’Vonne spoke to Paulie. She said that Paulie, Paul, Zakiyah, Michelle and James are all she has got in this game. She told him that going on the block would make her feel like she is on the bottom of that totem pole. Paulie said he didn’t even know that was a group. Da’Vonne said those are just the people she trusts. Da’Vonne questioned why she is worth the sacrifice when it’s possible that people may decide to keep Bridgette since she is injured and alone. Paulie said he completely understands where she is coming from because he felt the same way when Nicole put him up the first week. Da’Vonne let Paulie know that Bridgette asked her for advice so she told Bridgette to go give up any information she has on the alliance she made with Nicole and Frank. Da’Vonne said she then questioned why she is helping the group out by getting Bridgette to offer information when she is getting put on the block anyway. Da’Vonne clarified that she trusts the group but it’s going to suck being on the block, especially after the veto competition has already been played. Da’Vonne asked Paulie to let her know when her time comes, as she would expect to hear it from him on a personal level. Paulie said he has got her.
7:00-8:00 PM: Da’Vonne told James that she doesn’t know what to do. He said they will have to fight for the votes if it comes down to it. Da’Vonne then told Zakiyah she feels as though she will be going on the block 1000%. Da’Vonne said she will be hurt if something happens but she has always said “God, let your will be done”, so she will have to accept it if it happens. In the storage room, Paul told Paulie that the way Da’Vonne is showing her cards is only making him realize even more so that she needs to leave the house. They discussed that Victor needs to learn to shut his mouth. They said he keeps talking about alliances and deals, which may result in people thinking that they are on the outside of something. Paulie told Michelle that they are getting annoyed with Victor. He mentioned not going after him until after the tickets expire on August 18th. Michelle said she was thinking about backdooring him during the double eviction, which she expects to be this week.
8:00-9:00 PM: Zakiyah and Michelle discussed the plan to get Da’Vonne out. Zakiyah said Paulie is adamant about it even though Da’Vonne is not coming for him. Michelle asked who the votes are. Zakiyah said it seems like the only people they can get to vote Bridgette out are the two of them and James. Michelle said it’s not fair that Da’Vonne has to go because the guys are afraid of her, when she is afraid of Bridgette. Michelle brought up that she could have used the veto to ensure that Bridgette left last week, but she was told that Bridgette would be going this week. Michelle said Bridgette will nominate them both if she wins HoH. Zakiyah said this will be the dumbest move of the summer. She told Michelle that Paul’s loyalty lies with Paulie. The girls discussed that Nicole doesn’t talk game with them anymore. Michelle said she hates how the boys are going behind their backs now and aren’t telling them anything. Michelle said Paulie is becoming the new Frank. She said Paul and Victor have taken their spots. Both girls agreed that they do not like Paul anymore. Michelle wanted to talk to Paul but Zakiyah said it’s like talking to a brick wall.
9:00-10:00 PM: Nicole joined Michelle and Zakiyah. Zakiyah asked if she had heard about the new plan. Nicole said she has been trying to get some time with Paul to find out. Zakiyah said the plan seems to be to nominate Da’Vonne. Nicole acted as though she thought it was going to be Natalie. Zakiyah asked if Nicole is on board to get Bridgette out. Nicole said yeah, since she doesn’t want to make people angry. Michelle brought up that the guys don’t tell them anything anymore. Nicole told the girls that they need to chill. Michelle said she doesn’t want Bridgette staying. Nicole suggested staying calm until they see what Paul does, because they don’t want to make people angry prior to the veto being used. Michelle said that Paul getting in people’s ears about backdooring Da’Vonne is bad for him. Nicole said she hasn’t heard about that in a while. Nicole said she thinks that Bridgette is going. After Nicole left, Michelle said Nicole seemed to know stuff and now she is going to run to Corey to tell him what they said. Nicole did exactly that, heading outside to talk to Corey and Paul. She informed them that Michelle and Zakiyah said the boys are being sketchy and not telling them anything. She said the girls were talking about wanting to keep Da’Vonne. Nicole claimed to have been cornered and asked about how she is going to vote. Nicole then told Paulie what the girls had said. Nicole told Corey and Paulie that they have to make Michelle and Zakiyah think that Bridgette is going home. After that, Paulie told both the girls that he doesn’t care who goes home but he would like to see Da’Vonne on the block in order to see how she reacts. He mentioned that she has thrown his name out there and also said she is going after the couples. Paul stopped by. Michelle told Corey, Paul, Nicole and Zakiyah that she is willing to go on the block. She said she would like to think that they would vote Bridgette out. Paul said he has already talked to Da’Vonne about it a bit. Michelle said she will go up but Paulie wants to see how Da’Vonne reacts. Paul said all he knows is that Bridgette is going home.
10:00-11:00 PM: Paulie told Corey, Michelle, Nicole, Zakiyah and Paul that he would like to have Bridgette and Da’Vonne on the block together so that they can see what happens over the next three days. Michelle said if anyone wins the double and puts Da’Vonne up, they have her vote but she wants Bridgette gone this week. Zakiyah said she feels the same way. Michelle called Bridgette a loose cannon. She said Da’Vonne would nominate Victor and Natalie. Zakiyah said she gets that impression from Da’Vonne as well. Michelle said that Bridgette is a threat to win HoH if it’s a double eviction, because the competitions are mental.
11:00-12:00 AM: Zakiyah asked Nicole how she feels about everything. Nicole said she feels good now that the guys talked to them about everything. Zakiyah asked if Nicole would like to see Bridgette gone. Nicole asked why not, saying she has no ties to Bridgette. Zakiyah said it was good to hear Paul’s perspective since she didn’t know he felt that strongly about getting Bridgette out. Zakiyah said she feels like she can breathe once Bridgette is gone. Zakiyah mentioned that she will be a have-not and be on the block if Paul puts her up. Michelle said she is fine with going up too. Zakiyah said she would put Victor up. Michelle asked if the boys have something. Zakiyah said she thinks so. Nicole said no, then said she doesn’t know. Zakiyah said she doesn’t think Victor is involved but she thinks that they have something. Michelle said they have spent a lot of time locked up in the HoH room together. Zakiyah said they can have guy time as long as they know the girls are going to have girl time.
12:00-1:00 AM: Zakiyah told Michelle that she is really glad Paul is not trying to get Da’Vonne out this week. Michelle agreed. Zakiyah said she isn’t even worried if she goes on the block because she trusts that she will have the votes. They wondered who Paul would end up putting on the block. Zakiyah pointed out that Natalie should go up since she is the only vote for Bridgette. Zakiyah said she is going to tell Paul that in the morning.
