Big Brother 18 Day 48 - Da'Vonne is the replacement nominee

August 1, 2016

10:00-11:00 AM: Paul briefly spoke to Da’Vonne. He asked if she knows that he wouldn’t do anything unless he quadruple checked first. Da’Vonne said yeah. Da’Vonne asked how Zakiyah reacted to being asked to go up. Paul explained that Michelle and Zakiyah said they would do it but don’t want to be up next to Bridgette. Paul told Da’Vonne he feels the most confident that she will not panic and freak out if on the block. After Paul left the room, Da’Vonne looked to the camera and said “game on”. Da’Vonne said it’s time for her to win HoH and let Victor know what the boys really think about him. Da’Vonne brought up that people are sitting really comfortable. She said that it’s time to change up the game a little bit. Out in the hammock, James asked Michelle if she is sad because she likes Da’Vonne. Michelle said Da’Vonne is not a threat to her. James said she is not a threat to him either. James said he thought that they were supposed to get Frank out first and then go after Bridgette. Michelle said she was promised that and that’s why she didn’t use the veto on Frank. Michelle told James that she wants Bridgette out because she is a threat to her. Michelle said Paul made a promise to take Bridgette out. She thought Paul still wants Bridgette to go but Paulie has been getting to him. Michelle told James that both she and Zakiyah volunteered to go on the block so they will have to see what happens. She let James know that Paulie was saying he wants to see how Da’Vonne reacts even though she has already been on the block. James asked if Paulie was the one leading the charge. Michelle said that’s how she saw it.

11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. Paulie used the Power of Veto on himself. Paul nominated Da’Vonne as the replacement nominee. Zakiyah asked Da’Vonne when the plan changed because she went to bed thinking that Paul was going to nominate her. Da’Vonne said she knew that Zakiyah was not an option and that she would be going on the block. Da’Vonne said all of the talks about asking Zakiyah how she feels about going up were smoke and mirrors. Zakiyah encouraged Da’Vonne to play it cool because there are still people wanting to get Bridgette out. Da’Vonne said she is chilling. Up in the HoH room, Paul told Nicole that he is frustrated with Michelle and Zakiyah. He said the trio they have with Da’Vonne is starting to irk him. Nicole said he didn’t realize how close they were until Michelle was willing to sacrifice herself in order to prevent Da’Vonne from going on the block. Paul said he doesn’t understand why those two are confident that they will stay but don’t feel the same way about Da’Vonne staying if nominated next to Bridgette. Paul said he will be playing dumb the whole week, saying he promoted all week that Bridgette is the target.

12:00-1:00 PM: Da’Vonne headed up to the HoH room to speak to Paul. Paul said he could have put anybody up but he felt that the overreaction would be ten times worse than what Da’Vonne is doing. He clarified that Da’Vonne is not overreacting. Da’Vonne said she would have thought that she would be the last option if they were as close as she thought they were. Da’Vonne called Paul out for having said he would nominate Bridgette and Natalie or Victor or Nicole beforehand and then changing the plan once he got in power. Paul explained that it changes once you are in power and have to really think about the move. Paul assured Da’Vonne that Bridgette is the target and she will go unless people are lying to his face. Paul said even though Michelle and Zakiyah volunteered to go up, he trusts the way that Da’Vonne behaves in a certain situation. As for Michelle, Paul said she is soft and he has not seen how she reacts on the block. Paul said all he can do is apologize. Da’Vonne said he doesn’t have to apologize for doing what he thinks is best for his game. Out in the backyard, Nicole told Corey and Paulie that it’s bizarre Michelle was going to sacrifice herself so that Da’Vonne didn’t go up. Nicole said that’s loyalty. Nicole said she hasn’t trusted Da’Vonne since she opened her mouth about their five person alliance with the three of them, Da’Vonne and Zakiyah. Nicole headed to the have-not room to talk to Michelle and Zakiyah. Nicole asked if Da’Vonne has said her name to them. Michelle said no. Zakiyah said Paulie is telling her that Da’Vonne threw her under the bus but she really wants to get Bridgette out this week, then they can worry about Da’Vonne. Michelle told Nicole that Da’Vonne’s plan as of a week ago was to go after Frank, Bridgette, Victor and Natalie. While both Michelle and Zakiyah said they want Bridgette out, Nicole said she will do what everyone else does. Michelle said she doesn’t get who would have been saying Da’Vonne is throwing Nicole’s name out there. Nicole said it doesn’t matter if it isn’t true. After Nicole left, Michelle said she feels as though the others are still going to try to vote Da’Vonne out. Zakiyah agreed, saying Corey, Nicole and Paulie are going to push hard for that. Michelle said she wishes they knew that Da’Vonne was not coming after them. Zakiyah thinks that Paulie is the one who told Nicole that Da’Vonne is after her, seeing as he said the same thing to her. Michelle pointed out that Paulie is no better than Frank since he is trying to get in Paul’s ear when this is Paul’s HoH. Michelle and Zakiyah discussed that Nicole wont talk game with them and wouldn’t share information about who said Da’Vonne is after her. They talked about excluding her from information sharing moving forward. Zakiyah said she wants to tell Nicole to leave her alone if she can’t keep it real with her.

1:00-2:00 PM: Da’Vonne asked James if the guys are talking about switching the vote. James said no, they talking about her freaking out. He said he explained that Da’Vonne is on the block. He told her that she is good so far but it’s not 100%. Da’Vonne said it’s weird that it’s not 100% when everyone wanted Bridgette gone. Nicole reported back to Paul on her conversation with Michelle and Zakiyah. She said they were asking her who told her that Da’Vonne is after her. Nicole said Michelle is super paranoid now and wont make eye contact. Nicole told Paul she is not going to give those two any names. She worried that she will go up if they win HoH, though Nicole and Paul agreed that Bridgette would probably be the target for those two if she stays. Nicole said she cannot believe how much Michelle and Zakiyah are protecting Da’Vonne. Nicole told Paul that she will be super thankful if they can get Da’Vonne out, so she will do whatever Paul wants. Paul mentioned that he still wants Bridgette out sooner rather than later. He said what concerned him about Da’Vonne is that she threw her ball last in the HoH competition and was actively trying to win, yet she said she just didn’t want to be a have-not. He also thought that she had been acting weird. Nicole said everyone should have been happy when Bridgette didn’t win PoV. Paul agreed.

2:00-3:00 PM: Out by the pool, Corey, Paul and Paulie spoke. Paulie said if Bridgette wins HoH, she will 100% take a shot at Michelle. Paul said they will clip Bridgette if she doesn’t win HoH, because then she is of no use. Paulie said they can get Victor to go after Michelle and Zakiyah if he wins. Paulie said Michelle and Zakiyah think they are slick, think they are playing the game an figuring stuff out, so they will clip them before they have the chance to take a shot. Paulie said if this week is a double eviction, Michelle and Zakiyah will be so shellshocked that Da’Vonne is gone that they will crumble. He told Corey and Paul that he will get Bridgette to go up to those girls before the competition to tell them that she is coming after them. Paulie said he too may even rattle them by saying he knows that they have been doing. Paulie mentioned that Zakiyah thinks she has him so, like a puppy dog, by throwing her body around. Paulie thinks Zakiyah has feelings for him but he said it’s a game. Corey brought up that Nicole told him Zakiyah said she wants to have Paulie’s babies. Paulie thought that if Zakiyah likes him, she will like him outside of the house because he always says this is a game and not real life.

3:00-4:00 PM: Paulie told Corey that they should tell Michelle, Nicole and Zakiyah that they are looking out for the five by getting Da’Vonne out, since she has said things about Corey, Nicole and himself. He also wanted to tell Michelle that Da’Vonne is saying she can’t tell Michelle things because she talks too much. Paulie said the fact that Michelle and Zakiyah are trying to cover for Da’Vonne makes her not trust them even more. Paulie said it’s fine because they have James, Paul and Nicole on their side. Corey and Paulie agreed that they are sitting in a good spot. Corey said they need to keep Michelle and Zakiyah level headed for a little while. He told Paulie that they should tell the girls they got Tiffany out for them and now it’s their turn to get someone out that they want. Elsewhere, Paul told Nicole that his plan for the week is to pretend that he is upset, then after Da’Vonne goes he will go to Michelle and Zakiyah to act like he didn’t want it to happen. Paul said he will attempt to get information from them. Nicole said she will hang out with Michelle and Zakiyah, playing dumb. Paul told Nicole that those girls will not trust her. Nicole said she will say that she is voting Bridgette out for now.

6:00-7:00 PM: Da’Vonne told Zakiyah that something is weird because Paulie has not said one word to her since the ceremony but he has been laughing, joking and smiling with Bridgette. Zakiyah suggested asking him where his head is at. Da’Vonne said she is trying to think of what she did that would make them want to flip if that’s what is going on. Zakiyah said maybe he is being cordial because Bridgette is going to jury. Da’Vonne said she thought about that too. Zakiyah brought up that she hasn’t been talking much game with Nicole because Nicole only comes up to her when she needs something these days. Da’Vonne headed to the bedroom. She told the feeders that she is going to take a nap because she has a feeling everybody is going to be up all night. She wanted to be able to stay up all night as well. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t know what the hell is going on. She wondered if she should stop being stubborn and go talk to people. She said she doesn’t think she is being stubborn, then said she only is a little bit. She said she thinks that Paulie thinks he is running the house, which he probably is, but she doesn’t kiss anybody’s ass. Da’Vonne said she has to figure something out because she cannot go home.

9:00-10:00 PM: Da’Vonne checked in with Victor to ask if they are still good for Thursday. Victor said 100%. He told Da’Vonne that they are going with the plan as far as he knows. Da’Vonne then headed to the bedroom. On the way, she asked Corey, Michelle and Nicole if they are voting Bridgette out on Thursday. Nicole and Corey said yeah. Michelle said you know it. Da’Vonne told them that she had to double check.

10:00-11:00 PM: Natalie asked James who is going home this week. He said Da’Vonne. Natalie asked if she is really leaving. James said he doesn’t know but probably. Natalie said it’s better for her game to have Bridgette around. Natalie asked James what his alliance is. He said he isn’t in one. Natalie said she just needs to know one thing. She asked if he is in an alliance with Nicole. James said he is not.

12:00-1:00 AM: Michelle asked Da’Vonne if she knows which way Natalie is voting. Da’Vonne said she is pretty sure she is voting for Bridgette. Michelle questioned why. Zakiyah said she wants everyone to let her know how they are voting. Da’Vonne said she thought there was no question. Zakiyah said Da’Vonne has her vote and Michelle’s vote for sure. Da’Vonne thinks that James will vote for her 100%. Michelle wondered if James would be able to talk Natalie into voting for her. Da’Vonne asked who they are afraid wont vote for her. Michelle said Paul wants her to stay and everyone they have talked to says they want Bridgette gone. Michelle and Zakiyah told Da’Vonne that they would be done with Corey and Nicole if they vote Da’Vonne out. Zakiyah brought up that Bridgette is acting so comfortable. Da’Vonne said the others are making her feel comfortable by having so many conversations with her and laughing with her. Michelle said she will talk to Paul but she believes him when he says he wants Bridgette out. Da’Vonne said she believes him too but knows that he can be influenced. Meanwhile, out in the backyard, Victor told Paulie that Da’Vonne asked them if they are good. Victor said he told her 100%. Victor said he doesn’t want Da’Vonne getting paranoid and wreaking havoc. Paulie said he thinks Da’Vonne respects the game and would get it, so she wouldn’t do that. Paulie said he loves Da’Vonne but this is a strategic move on his part because she has wanted each and every one of them out at some point.

1:00-2:00 AM: Zakiyah told Da’Vonne and Michelle that she was pissed with Nicole earlier and thinking that if she is not going to keep it real, she should get out of her face. Zakiyah explained to Da’Vonne that Nicole approached them to ask if her name has been brought up, but she wouldn’t give them any information. Da’Vonne said she didn’t get a legit answer as to why she is on the block. They wondered why Da’Vonne was chosen out of all of the people to volunteer. Zakiyah said she doesn’t think that Natalie is going to vote her friend out. Michelle thought that they may be able to convince her. Zakiyah said Natalie claimed that Bridgette was her first friend and she made a promise to her. Michelle said she will talk to her about how voting against the house will put a target on her back. Michelle told Da’Vonne she is pretty confident that she will be safe. Zakiyah said Da’Vonne will have to gun for HoH. Da’Vonne said she will be and will also be gunning for PoVs now that it’s apparent she will be used on the block.

2:00-3:00 AM: Da’Vonne, Michelle, Natalie and Zakiyah were chatting in the bathroom. Michelle asked how many votes they need for this week. They said 8. Da’Vonne asked if Natalie has figured out what she is doing, then followed that up by asking if she is voting for Bridgette to stay. Natalie said they will see. Michelle said she shouldn’t do that. Natalie told Da’Vonne she already knows. Michelle asked if she is voting for Da’Vonne. Natalie said she wants her to stay. Michelle pointed out that Bridgette might put James up if she stays, while Da’Vonne is not going after either of them.

4:00-5:00 AM: Zakiyah told Paulie she wants to know where his head is at. Paulie said he doesn’t care but he did want to talk to Zakiyah and Michelle about how he was pushing for Da’Vonne to go because he knows she is coming for him. Paulie pointed out that Da’Vonne has said she will come after him and after Corey and Nicole, so that’s three of their five as opposed to five of five. Paulie then said Bridgette has also brought up Nicole’s name so it’s three out of five either way. Zakiyah said she just wanted them to be on the same page. Paulie said he doesn’t care either way and thinks that they are. Zakiyah told Paulie that he wants Bridgette out because she doesn’t care for the girl.
