Big Brother 18 Day 49
August 2, 2016
8:00-9:00 AM: While the others slept, Corey and Paulie were in the kitchen chatting. Paulie told Corey it’s selfish for Michelle and Zakiyah to want what’s best for their game by keeping Da’Vonne. Corey said they already gave them what they wanted a couple of weeks ago by getting rid of Tiffany, so the girls can’t go run around crying every time they don’t get their way. Paulie said they wanted Tiffany out the week prior but the girls cried then too. Corey said Victor is a piece of work. Paulie suggested that he will only be around for a bit longer. Paulie said the crazy part about Michelle and Zakiyah is not only are they doing what they are doing with regards to this week’s vote, but they are also already saying who they want to be the next person to go too. Corey asked who they want out. Paulie said Victor. Paulie said if they can take care of Michelle this week, they can get Bridgette and Victor out in the two weeks after that. Paulie said his ideal eviction order is Da’Vonne, Michelle, Bridgette or Victor, Zakiyah and Natalie, leaving himself, Nicole, Paul, Corey and James at the end. Corey asked Paulie if he would nominate Zakiyah if he wins HoH. Paulie said he would nominate Zakiyah and Michelle. They discussed that nominating Natalie and Michelle is another good option. Corey mentioned backdooring Victor if he gets the chance to do it. Paulie said Zakiyah will stick to them once Michelle is gone. Paulie worried that Michelle would take a shot at him due to the way that she has been acting this week. Corey said he thought that Michelle would nominate Victor and Bridgette. Corey suggested promising Michelle that they will get Bridgette out next week, explaining that Da’Vonne is going after them.
9:00-10:00 AM: Corey headed to the safari room alone to talk to the live feeders. Corey said Michelle is going to be really mad at them because they are getting Da’Vonne out, so they have to do some damage control. Corey said they have to do things the right way so that Michelle doesn’t put he and Paulie up if she wins HoH. Corey said Da’Vonne has to go because she is the girl version of Frank. Corey said Zakiyah has got to go because she has an attitude. He hoped that Paulie would be able to keep Zakiyah close for now. Corey doesn’t think that he is in danger for next week but he said he wants to start winning competitions. Corey said Victor is a good guy and means well but he rubs people the wrong way. Corey called James a good dude but he thinks James wont want to win anything for a while. Corey said James is playing a really good game with a good social game. Corey mentioned that the whole house was mad at him the first week for not taking HoH and going after the returnees. Corey said he doesn’t regret it since he is in a good spot. Corey said he secretly hopes Bridgette wins HoH and nominates Michelle and Zakiyah. Corey said it would be really cool to be at the end with Paulie, Nicole and James in the Final 4. Corey pointed out that people like Paul a lot because he is hilarious. He had thrown Paul’s name in the mix for the fifth person in addition to his ideal Final 4. Corey said Paul will win 100% if he makes it to the Final 2. If he makes it to the Final 3 with Nicole and Paulie, Corey said he would probably throw the HoH because he wouldn’t want to have to choose between them. Corey thinks that both Nicole and Paulie would take him to the end over each other.
2:00-3:00 PM: Corey, James, Nicole and Paul spoke in the safari room. They discussed that it may be a double eviction. James said he would nominate Bridgette and Victor. James and Paul agreed that they cannot see Bridgette forgetting about them nominating her. They agreed that Bridgette has valid reasons for nominating them. Paul wants to get Bridgette out next since his plan was originally to get her out this week. James said Da’Vonne would nominate Corey and Nicole if she stays. Nicole asked James if he is okay with getting Da’Vonne out. James said yeah. Nicole said she wasn’t sure since James is close with her. James said he is close to Da’Vonne on a personal level. Nicole said they can get Bridgette out next week. Corey threw Victor’s name out there as another option. Nicole asked if they are going to blindside Da’Vonne, Michelle and Zakiyah. Nicole worried that Da’Vonne would find out that she is leaving if they tell Michelle and Zakiyah. Da’Vonne popped into the room briefly but immediately left. Nicole felt she was being sketchy. She said Da’Vonne is always trying to make her feel like she is doing something wrong. James said they are doing something wrong by talking about evicting her. Nicole argued that it’s a strategic move. Corey thought that they should tell Michelle about the voting plan because she cried the last time that she didn’t get her way. Paul joined them. Nicole asked for his opinion. Paul said they cannot let Michelle or Zakiyah know. Nicole agreed. Nicole brought up that she was blindsided prior to a double eviction, along with two others, then the three of them were the first three out of the HoH competition. Paul said they should use that to their advantage. They discussed that Paulie wants to talk to Michelle about the plan. Paul said he doesn’t get why Paulie wants to take it upon himself to do it. Da’Vonne then entered the room. Paul said they are discussing what to do during the double eviction. Da’Vonne asked what they have came up with so far. There was a long pause before anyone said anything. James then said they decided on “B and V”. Da’Vonne pointed out that B (Bridgette) shouldn’t be there if she is staying this week. James said he meant that Bridgette would be going first. They then discussed who to nominate next to Victor. James suggested nominating someone strong to beat him in the veto competition. Paul questioned what would happen if Victor won. They talked about nominating someone who would definitely go then.
3:00-4:00 PM: Da’Vonne head to her bedroom. She said she is so glad that she walked in on that conversation. She said “people be trying it”. In the storage room, Natalie told James that Nicole is trying to throw her under the bus with everything. James said he feels that too and that’s why he is going to take Nicole out if he wins HoH. James told Natalie that Nicole doesn’t see it coming yet. Natalie said she will be doing the same thing. She said she is taking Nicole out over Victor. Natalie asked about this week’s vote. James said it will be 6-2 to evict Da’Vonne. Natalie said she feels bad for Da’Vonne. She brought up that she has told Da’Vonne multiple times that she will have her vote. James said Michelle and Zakiyah will be voting for her but if it’s 5-3 it will be obvious that Natalie did too. Natalie said that she hasn’t made up her mind as of yet. She explained that she wants Bridgette to stay for her game but she is sad about Da’Vonne leaving. James told Natalie that Da’Vonne is going to be mad at him if anyone, seeing as they were on the same season together and have been close. Natalie suggested that she could talk to Paul about voting Bridgette out, then Da’Vonne will think that James did it. Natalie headed up to the HoH room to talk to Paul about her vote. She said that she is torn. She explained that she loves Da’Vonne to death. She said the fact that Da’Vonne is a mom and is sweet to her gets to her. Paul said he wouldn’t necessarily consider that Da’Vonne is a mother when deciding which way to vote. Paul asked which move feels more right. Natalie said keeping Bridgette. Paul told her to keep Bridgette then. Paul advised Natalie to do what is strategically best for her. Natalie said her mind is now made up. She wondered if she should tell Da’Vonne that she is not voting for her. Paul originally said no but then told Natalie to do what feels right to her.
5:00-6:00 PM: Da’Vonne asked James what they were talking about earlier when she walked in. James said they really were talking about plans for the double eviction. Da’Vonne said James made her nervous when he mentioned nominating Bridgette and Victor. James said he thought they were talking about who would be evicted during the double. Da’Vonne pointed out that Nicole turned red like she was busted. Da’Vonne told James that she will not freak out if she finds out that she is leaving. James said he knows that since she is a game player. James told Da’Vonne that people probably wouldn’t let him know if they were voting her out. She asked if she has his vote 100%. James said yeah. He said Natalie is likely voting with him too. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t want to get blindsided. James assured her that he will let her know if he catches wind of a plan to get her out. Da’Vonne said she would like to enjoy her last few days if she knows that she is leaving.
6:00-7:00 PM: Paulie told Zakiyah that they have their five person alliance but Da’Vonne is trying to get the two of them in an alliance with Paul, Natalie and James because she wants to go after Corey and Nicole. Zakiyah didn’t think that had happened. Paulie brought up that Da’Vonne has said his name, Corey’s name and Nicole’s name, just like Bridgette has said the names of the three girls in their alliance. Zakiyah said Da’Vonne has never said Paulie’s name to her. Paulie told Zakiyah that the fact Da’Vonne is trying to say that he is playing Zakiyah is enough reason for him to want her out, because she is trying to create that separation. Paulie said Da’Vonne does that and then suggests going after the person once she feels that the separation has been created. Zakiyah said she gets it and knows that Paulie wants Da’Vonne out but she really wants Bridgette out. Paulie said it’s fine either way. Afterwards, Zakiyah spoke with Da’Vonne. Zakiyah said she doesn’t know who she can trust other than Da’Vonne. Da’Vonne asked what Paulie was talking about. Zakiyah said nothing, which is the problem. Da’Vonne asked when he started doing that. Zakiyah said since today. Da’Vonne said she thinks they are going to try to take her out this week, because things are really weird and Paulie gets quiet whenever she walks up. Da’Vonne figured that nobody is plotting against Zakiyah but they are keeping her out of the loop while plotting against her. Zakiyah said she is going to pull a Rachel Reilly and do this on her own if Da’Vonne leaves.
7:00-8:00 PM: Da’Vonne told James she thinks they are going to take a swing at her this week because people shut up when she walks up on conversations, which wasn’t happening prior to her being on the block. She mentioned walking up on conversations between Nicole and Paulie, Bridgette and Victor, and Corey and Nicole. Da’Vonne said she wishes somebody would just tell her. James asked if she wants him to find out by straight up asking and saying he is on board with it. Da’Vonne said it’s sad but true. Upstairs outside the HoH room, Zakiyah told Nicole that Paulie wont talk to her and she doesn’t get if he is accusing her of something or what. Zakiyah cried and said if there is something Paulie needs to know, she will tell him. She said she is being loyal to the people she said she would be loyal to and she doesn’t get if she is doing something wrong. Nicole said she is doing a good job. Zakiyah said she feels in the dark. Nicole suggested that it could be because people think she is close to Da’Vonne. Zakiyah said she is not but Da’Vonne feels that way towards her. Nicole said it is fine if she feels that way about Da’Vonne. Zakiyah said she feels stupid when it comes to who she trusts. Nicole said she is playing a phenomenal game and is the strongest female. Nicole told Zakiyah that she thinks Zakiyah is feeling weird about Paulie because the two of them want different people out this week. Zakiyah said she wants to be able to tell Da’Vonne she is leaving if indeed she is. Nicole asked if she needs to be the mediator. Zakiyah said yeah cause she needs to know if they are on the same page or if Paulie is using her and playing with her feelings to get her to do what he wants. Nicole said Paulie says great things about Zakiyah. She said Paulie needs to see Zakiyah like this when she is so pure and genuine. Zakiyah figured that Paulie would be pissed off if he knows that she is crying. Nicole said he doesn’t have to know and she wont tell him.
8:00-9:00 PM: Paulie and Zakiyah met in Paris to talk things over. Zakiyah said she doesn’t know what is going on with anything anymore. Paulie said he gave Zakiyah two chances to say information that he knew were facts. Paulie told Zakiyah that he trusts her 100% and five 100% but he put her on the spot for two pieces of information that she didn’t give to him. He said it makes him wonder where the information that he gives her is going. Paulie said he is talking about the stuff that he tells her is only for her. Paulie told Zakiyah that there was no reason to lie about what Michelle said in the room and if there was anybody in the room. Michelle had told Zakiyah that Corey, Nicole and Paulie have been whispering together. Zakiyah said Paulie is making it seem like she did something. Paulie said she lied about two things. Paulie said Zakiyah lied about what Michelle said yesterday and lied about there being two people in the room because he knows there were three since the information came from the third person that was in the room. Paulie said she brought it up before that James was in the room and what James is saying Michelle said does not line up with what Zakiyah is saying. Paulie told Zakiyah it’s not hard to understand why it’s not good for Michelle to be talking to her about the other three people in their group while someone from outside of the group is in the room.
9:00-10:00 PM: Zakiyah told Paulie she is getting frustrated. She asked what she is doing to him. Paulie said nothing. Zakiyah started to cry and said she always says she trusts him but he is acting this way toward her and making her feel weird. Paulie said he gave Zakiyah three chances to tell him what happened. Zakiyah said if he is doing that it makes it seem like he doesn’t trust her. Paulie said he asked her three questions and she lied about all three of them. Zakiyah said Michelle told her that Victor was sitting next to her and they were picking on the fact that Corey, Nicole and Paulie were whispering together. Zakiyah told Paulie that she said no one was in the room cause she didn’t realize James was sleeping a few bumper cars away. Paulie told Zakiyah that she seems phony if she is questioning why he is withholding information when she is lying to him. Zakiyah cried some more and said she is phony. Paulie said seeming like something and actually being it are two different things. Zakiyah said Paulie doesn’t trust her for whatever reason. He said he was questioning one single situation. Zakiyah said she always tells people that she trusts him 100%. Paulie asked if she is implying that his answer is something different. Zakiyah said no. Zakiyah said this could all be strategy on his end. He pointed out that he had his arms around her last night, and if she wants to think it’s strategy then go ahead. Zakiyah said she is sorry if Paulie feels betrayed by her. Paulie said betrayed is a word that nobody said. Paulie said he is very logical and matter of fact, so he moves forward. He told Zakiyah that she is trying to make this something a lot more complex than it is. Zakiyah told Paulie not to tell her what she is trying to do. Paulie said the conversation is over. He then left the room. Zakiyah told Nicole that the whole thing with Paulie just backfired. She said the conversation didn’t go anywhere and Paulie snapped on her. Zakiyah mentioned that Paulie cut her off. Nicole said Paulie has her back in the game. Zakiyah said she would never betray Paulie but he made it seem like he has to be careful of her moving forward. Zakiyah told Nicole that the conversation was so bad that she told Paulie to get rid of her if he thinks that is best. Nicole said it’s not like that. She said Paulie is protecting Zakiyah. Zakiyah said Paulie walked all over her ass during the conversation and he was able to get loud but she would get cut off when trying to say things. Nicole said this is obviously getting to Paulie and his emotions are playing into it or else he would have finished the conversation. Meanwhile, Paulie told Corey, James, Paul and Victor about what happened with Zakiyah. Paulie said he still thinks that Michelle needs to be the next to go. He said Bridgette isn’t after any of them. Paul disagreed that Bridgette is not after him. Paul didn’t think that Bridgette would waste an HoH on one of the girls.
10:00-11:00 PM: Da’Vonne encouraged Zakiyah to get back to the chick who walked into this house on Day 1. He said that chick was fired and wanted to win. Zakiyah agreed. Da’Vonne said Zakiyah had a distraction but was able to see it before she was too far into it. Da’Vonne told Zakiyah that she is not too deep into the game to make adjustments. Da’Vonne explained that if what Zakiyah and Paulie felt was real and genuine, it will be able to pick up again after the game ends. After the talk, Da’Vonne went to the bedroom and spoke to the camera. She said she thinks that she might have got her girl Zakiyah back and she may not be distracted anymore. Da’Vonne said Zakiyah’s feelings are hurt so she might be able to get her to help take out Paulie. Da’Vonne said she might be able to win this thing if she doesn’t get sent out this week. Natalie told James that Da’Vonne really trusts him. She let James know that Bridgette made a comment about there not being any saran wrap. She said it was directed at James, cause James had used it up yesterday during a prank. Natalie asked James what happens if Bridgette wins and puts him on the block. She pointed out that Da’Vonne would not do that to James. Natalie agreed. Natalie told James that Da’Vonne will be crushed if he goes against her. James told Natalie that they don’t have the votes and that it would only come down to a tie.
11:00-12:00 AM: Zakiyah filled Michelle in on her talks with Paulie and Nicole. Michelle said she doesn’t want anything to do with them. Michelle said Nicole has been shady to her all day. Zakiyah hoped that Natalie and James would stick to getting Bridgette out. Michelle didn’t think that Paul would even if they do. Zakiyah mentioned that Paulie was making it seem like they are voting wrong if they vote Bridgette out. Michelle said that’s because Paulie would not be safe. Michelle thought that Paulie may put her up if he wins HoH. Michelle said it’s because she is on to him. She said that Paulie shouldn’t make what he is doing so obvious. Zakiyah thinks that Paulie did what he did with her in order to end the emotional connection. Michelle said she doesn’t want to see Zakiyah continually going back to Paulie. Zakiyah assured Michelle that she will not. Zakiyah said there will not be a physically connection again. Both girls agreed that they don’t want Paulie to win the game and they will not be voting for him to win it.
12:00-1:00 AM: Da’Vonne told Natalie that she thinks she is really going to need Natalie’s vote based on how the house is going. She pointed out that Natalie should know she would not come after her or after James. Natalie said she knows that. Da’Vonne said it would suck if some people flipped and Natalie was the one vote that could have saved her. Da’Vonne brought up that she was giving Bridgette advice in order to help her stay, but she wouldn’t have done that had she known that she would end up on the block next to her. Da’Vonne said she hopes that being nice doesn’t cause her to go home. Da’Vonne headed upstairs to check in with Paulie about the plan for the week. Da’Vonne asked if Paulie is voting for her to stay. Paulie said he will vote Bridgette out cause that’s what Paul wants. Da’Vonne questioned if that’s what Paulie wants. Paulie said he will stick to the plan. Da’Vonne asked why he is taking in riddles. Da’Vonne explained that she had been feeling uneasy for a number of reasons including that people were not being friends with Bridgette until she got put on the block. Da’Vonne said it could all be block paranoia, so if Paulie is saying it’s her then she will get her life. Paulie told Da’Vonne that they can always talk. Da’Vonne said one day they will have a conversation and Paulie will not talk to her in riddles. Paulie and Zakiyah started talking again. Paulie told Zakiyah he has to talk to Da’Vonne in order to tell her that it was him who pushed to have her on the block even if Bridgette is leaving. He said Da’Vonne should understand since she is a game player. Paulie said he has no problem voting Bridgette out but he knows that Da’Vonne blows Bridgette away when it comes to game play. Zakiyah said Da’Vonne genuinely seems to trust Paul and Paulie. Paulie mentioned that Da’Vonne told James that they need to break up the couples and told Michelle that there is a power upstairs while he was HoH. Zakiyah reiterated that she would like to see Bridgette leave this week.
1:00-2:00 AM: Da’Vonne told Michelle that that she and James are the only people that she can talk to about making big moves. Da’Vonne said everyone else is scared as hell. Michelle admitted that she isn’t sure about James anymore because he told someone else something that she had said. Michelle said it was about some people whispering. Da’Vonne said she caught James, Nicole and Corey in the safari room with the door closed multiple times today. Da’Vonne asked how Michelle feels about Nicole. Michelle said she has been sketchy lately, she hasn’t been talking game with her and she is always around Corey and Paulie. Da’Vonne let Michelle know that both Bridgette and Frank told her that Nicole approached them about making a Final 4 deal with Corey. Michelle said she believes it. Da’Vonne said Corey and Nicole were in on it when Frank and Bridgette wanted to get her out. Da’Vonne said she wont be surprised if she gets sent home on Thursday. Michelle said she would be damn surprised and pissed off. Michelle asked if she thinks that they would like to her and Zakiyah. Da’Vonne said yeah. Michelle asked if she thinks that James is in on it. Da’Vonne told Michelle that she keeps trying not to think like that but she wont lie and say the thought hasn’t crossed her mind. Michelle didn’t get why people wouldn’t be upfront with her since there is nothing that she can do. She suggested asking James flat out. Da’Vonne said she tried but James is saying that he hasn’t heard anything. Michelle said that might be the truth then.
2:00-3:00 AM: James told Da’Vonne that he let Michelle know one of her friends said something about he and Paul floating by socially. Da’Vonne tried to find out who it was. James wouldn’t give a name. Da’Vonne then told James and Natalie that she is going to need them to have her back come Thursday. James brought up that Paul will be Da’Vonne’s man because it could come down to a tie. Da’Vonne explained that she has a shot if James and Natalie vote for her but not if they don’t. James said he would have to talk to Paul in order to see if he would keep Da’Vonne. If not, James said he would have to talk to Da’Vonne about his vote. Da’Vonne said it would really hurt her feelings if James were to vote against her. She said she knows that he has to do what he has to do for his kid but it would really suck. James and Natalie headed to the storage room. Natalie said Da’Vonne really trusts them. James agreed but said it will make no difference if they vote for her since Paul wants to vote her out. James said he will be blowing his game up if he votes Bridgette out and goes against the other four. Natalie asked why Paul wants Da’Vonne out. James said because Paulie wants her out. James and Natalie agreed that it is best to vote Bridgette out but James questioned what he can do about it. James figured that he could convince Paul to keep Da’Vonne if he really pushed it, though he said that would leave a bad taste in people’s mouths. James told Natalie that the game move is to keep Bridgette but the personal move is to keep Da’Vonne. James explained to Natalie that Da’Vonne is a sinking ship. He told Natalie that voting with the house will build trust. On the other hand, he said that voting rogue and not winning competitions would make someone of no use to the group. Natalie said the guys are going to use Bridgette to get the girls out. James said probably so. Ultimately, Natalie said she will vote with James to evict Da’Vonne. Natalie mentioned that Paulie, Paul, Corey and James are running the house, like guys run the house every season. Moving forward, Natalie said she would like to nominate Nicole and Victor.
3:00-4:00 AM: James and Zakiyah spoke in the safari room. James admitted to having told the group about Michelle’s comment that Corey, Nicole and Paulie are whispering a lot. Zakiyah then addressed the comment she made about James. She said if she said something about James being a good player, it’s because she thinks he is a good player. Zakiyah clarified that it wasn’t done maliciously. Zakiyah told James that she said he is doing great and she forgets that he is there sometimes. Afterwards, Michelle asked James if he has ever went to someone right after she has said something. James admitted that he did. James explained that he wanted to help out the group, telling them that if Michelle is even noticing that they are whispering, the other people in the house will pick up on it too. Michelle told James that she hopes he wouldn’t name drop when he says that he doesn’t. Da’Vonne told Michelle and Zakiyah that she doesn’t understand why Paulie would tell James that she called him a social butterfly. Da’Vonne, Michelle and Zakiyah said it’s imperative that they win HoH. Zakiyah said she is not afraid to make moves. Michelle said the same. Zakiyah said Nicole’s loyalty lies with Corey and Paulie these days. Michelle said maybe with James too. Da’Vonne said that’s scary. Michelle mentioned that maybe Jozea was right about Nicole. Michelle asked where they think Paul’s loyalties lie. Da’Vonne said she is hoping with his Big Sister teammates. Michelle said she thinks he is tight with Paulie. Da’Vonne it’s Paulie going to Paul but she rarely sees Paul going to Paulie. Da’Vonne said that Paulie is starting to talk like Paul and he cut his hair to look like Paul. After Michelle left, Da’Vonne asked Zakiyah if she would take Paulie out if the opportunity were to present itself. Zakiyah said she wants somebody else to take him out. Da’Vonne asked Zakiyah if she would vote Paulie out if her vote was necessary to make the move. Zakiyah said she would have no choice if that’s what everybody else does. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t think anyone will take the swing but they are playing for second place if not. Zakiyah asked who wouldn’t take a shot at him. Da’Vonne said Corey, Nicole, Paul and James wouldn’t because they are scared. Da’Vonne mentioned that she thought Victor would but apparently not even Victor will. Da’Vonne told Zakiyah that she wont be sitting in the Final 2 with Paulie because Paulie will not take her. Da’Vonne thinks that Paulie will take Paul. Michelle and Zakiyah think that Paulie would take Corey.
