Big Brother 18 Day 51 - Da'Vonne is evicted; Victor wins HoH
August 4, 2016
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Julie congratulated the houseguests on making it to jury. Da’Vonne was evicted by a vote of 6-2. Da'Vonne whispered to Victor that they are planning to take him out during the double. She had a one way ticket, so she will not be returning to the game. Da’Vonne is the first member of the jury. The HoH endurance competition got underway before the show ended. Julie told the houseguests that the first three to drop out will be the have-nots for the week. Julie announced to the viewers that next Thursday will be a double eviction.
7:00-8:00 PM: The HoH competition continued on the live feeds. The houseguests were eliminated in the following order:
Bridgette and James (prior to feeds returning at 7:02), Corey (7:08), Michelle (7:17), Nicole (7:41), Zakiyah (7:53), Paulie (7:53). Bridgette, James and Corey are the have-nots for the week. Only Natalie and Victor remained. Natalie said this will be the only comp she gets to win. James told her to win it then. Natalie said her mom is going to be pissed if she doesn’t win it for her.
8:00-9:00 PM: Natalie and Victor continued to battle it out. Natalie said she will probably never win an HoH if she doesn’t win this one. Victor said he could say the same thing about himself. Victor told Natalie she is safe. Natalie said Victor is too but she wants to see her mom. After roughly 90 minutes, Natalie asked Victor to give it to her. Victor said he wants it just as bad as she does. He told her to remember that he was already evicted from the house. Natalie said Victor can win comps though. Paulie asked if that’s a valid argument at this point. Victor said he is going for it just like she is because who’s to say he will be around to win. At the two hour mark, Natalie asked Victor if he will put her up. Victor said obviously not, especially after she lasted this long in the competition. Natalie dropped. Victor is the new HoH.
9:00-10:00 PM: Paulie told Paul that they need to split Michelle and Zakiyah up. He said that Bridgette is with them. Paul suggested that they take Zakiyah out first. In the bathroom, Zakiyah told Michelle that her feelings were hurt that nobody told them about Da’Vonne leaving. They both said that they wouldn’t have told Da’Vonne if that’s what the others were worried about. Michelle told Zakiyah she thinks that she will be going on the block. She said Zakiyah is likely safe. The girls discussed that Paul apparently didn’t know that Da’Vonne was leaving. Zakiyah believed it. Michelle was upset that Da’Vonne didn’t give her a hug but gave one to James even though he voted her out. The girls agreed that it makes more sense why everyone was sucking up to Bridgette now. Michelle figured that Victor would nominate whoever Paulie tells him to. Michelle said she is not about to go kiss butt. Zakiyah said that she wont either.
10:00-11:00 PM: Paul told Corey and Nicole he is pretty sure that Michelle and Zakiyah are going up. Nicole headed to the bedroom to talk to Michelle. Nicole asked if she could talk to her. Michelle said she feels betrayed. Nicole said it hurts her that Michelle is hurt. Nicole explained that she did this because she spoke to Da’Vonne a couple of days ago and she told her that she had said her name and mentioned who she had said that to. Nicole said she gave Michelle so many chances to tell her that Da’Vonne had said her name. Michelle said Da’Vonne didn’t say Nicole’s name to her and she claimed that she was going to put up Victor and Natalie. Nicole then explained that Da’Vonne said she has information that would hurt her about what the people close to her have said. Nicole said she knows that Corey and Da’Vonne don’t talk to each other so that leaves Michelle and Zakiyah as the people she is close to. Nicole said it breaks her heart to see Michelle upset but she knew Michelle would not have given her permission to vote Da’Vonne out. Michelle said Nicole didn’t need her permission and she would have liked to know which way people were voting. Michelle let Nicole know that Da’Vonne said yesterday that she tried to make a Final 4 with Corey, Bridgette and Frank. Nicole said her feelings are even more hurt now. Nicole assured Michelle that she would never put her on the block and never do anything detrimental to her game at this point. Nicole apologized and said that Da’Vonne was not good for her game or for Corey’s or Paulie’s game. In the bathroom, Paulie and Victor asked Bridgette who she thinks needs to go first out of Michelle and Zakiyah. Bridgette said both are after her but Michelle won a comp. Paulie said Zakiyah outlasted her in the endurance competitions, is waiting for the mental competitions and she is good socially.
11:00-12:00 AM: Paulie and Zakiyah spoke in the safari room. Zakiyah said she doesn’t understand why everyone is coming up to her to say sorry. Paulie told her that they probably feel guilty. Paulie mentioned that James raised suspicions today by dropping out of the competition first and not caring. He said Paul and Victor seemed pissed about it. Paulie said he had planted the seed that James didn’t want to win the competition, then James went out and did that. Paulie told Zakiyah what Da’Vonne had whispered in Victor’s ear. Zakiyah said she didn’t know that Da’Vonne had said that. Paulie told Zakiyah that he is going to try to put the heat on her girl, referring to Michelle. Zakiyah said that was obvious and she would be shocked if Michelle is not nominated. Paulie said he plans to remind Victor that Natalie left him a disrespectful goodbye message. Paulie claimed that he would have nominated Michelle and Natalie, targeting Michelle. Paulie said he will push to get Michelle voted out if she goes on the block. He said Victor will now be wide open for next week, which is exactly what he wanted. Paulie said Victor will be gone again unless he has the round trip ticket. Paulie said he would not waste the double eviction on Natalie when he could get Victor out.
12:00-1:00 AM: Nicole told Corey that she has something to tell him but she doesn’t want him to hold it against her. She revealed that the girls did try to make an alliance. She said she did not come up with the name or hold true to it. Nicole said there was a Fatal Five. Corey said he knows and they all know. Nicole said it was a joke. Corey said he believed everything that Tiffany said. Nicole then revealed that Michelle came up with the Advancemen in order to blame it on Tiffany. Corey said they knew one of the girls had made it up. Nicole explained that she was scared to admit the Fatal Five was real because it wasn’t a big deal. She said she proved that she wasn’t with them by voting two of them out. Nicole said the idea wasn’t hers and she had no choice but to say yes to it. Corey asked Nicole why she lied about the Final 2 with Frank. Nicole said it wasn’t legit.
1:00-2:00 AM: Victor told Paul and Paulie he is thinking that his best play is to nominate Michelle and Zakiyah. Paul said they could take Bridgette out if Zakiyah wins the veto. Victor said he doesn’t want to send Bridgette home. Paulie said they could nominate Natalie and send Michelle home if needed. Paul brought up that he found out why Da’Vonne said they are going to take Victor out on the double. He said that was the cover story that was used whenever Da’Vonne was around. Paul told Victor that James threw the HoH competition. He said it was a selfish move. They talked about potentially getting James out in the event of a double eviction. Paulie said they can go after Zakiyah this week, then take out Bridgette or Michelle next. However, he left the door open for discussing taking James out too. Paulie and Paul discussed keeping Natalie longer than James even though James is in their “Executives” alliance that consists of the four of them and Corey. Victor told Paul and Paulie that they are the three strongest in the game. They decided to call themselves “The Board” since they are running the Executives. Meanwhile, Michelle asked Zakiyah if she is still going to cuddle with Paulie. Zakiyah said she will use him for all he is worth. Michelle asked if Zakiyah thinks Nicole told Corey about the Fatal Five. Zakiyah said she would punch Nicole in the face and get evicted if so. Michelle worried that the Advancemen would get back to her. Zakiyah figured that Nicole would not shoot herself in the foot this early in the game by revealing those things. Nicole then interrupted the talk. She spoke to Zakiyah to explain why she voted Da’Vonne out. She used the same points that she had earlier on in the evening with Michelle.
4:00-5:00 AM: James asked Michelle why she is upset with him and asked if she is going to treat everyone like crap. Michelle said no but other people apologized to her. James said Michelle didn’t ask him which way the vote was going so it’s not the same thing as asking then him lying to her. Michelle asked how James would feel in her shoes. James said he would be thankful for still being there and then them for not putting her up. Michelle said that is definitely not how James would feel. Michelle said she would have voted with the house if someone had told her how the vote was going. James played it off as though he didn’t know which way people were voting. Michelle didn’t believe it. James said he voted Da’Vonne out because he is cool with Bridgette. Michelle pointed out that he and Da’Vonne were fine too. James said Da’Vonne was dropping his name. Michelle agreed. Michelle said part of the reason people didn’t tell her is probably because James was dropping her name. Michelle said she guarantees that she and Zakiyah were the only ones not to know which way the vote was going. James said his vote is his vote, and there is no reason to keep Da’Vonne when she told him that she wants to target the couples. James assured Michelle that he didn’t mean anything in a malicious way. Michelle said it seems like it because now everybody hates her and she is likely to go up and go home. James said he is still cool with Michelle even though she is not cool with him. Michelle said she didn’t say that but she is pissed off.
5:00-6:00 AM: James went to Paulie to relay his conversation with Michelle. James said he explained that he voted Da’Vonne out because she dropped his name. Michelle said she knows but she kept saying that she is out of the loop and probably going to get nominated. James said he stuck to saying that everyone voted how they wanted. James told Paulie that Michelle said she would have voted with the house if she knew. James said he was trying to protect Paul, saying that he didn’t know. Paulie said he is trying to figure out which of the two, Michelle or Zakiyah, is best to get out. Paulie said Paul and Victor are worried about Zakiyah as a competitor but he and James would have nothing to worry about with Zakiyah there. Paulie pointed out that Zakiyah would have nothing else without Michelle there. Paulie said that Michelle is a loose cannon if she wins HoH. James said Bridgette wants Michelle out so bad. Paulie said the two of them and Corey need to think strategically. Paulie said he will be voting Michelle out if Zakiyah is up there. James advised Paulie to stay out of things if Zakiyah is up there since you don’t want to make her feel like you are trying to get her out. Paulie said Zakiyah is the stronger competitor but that doesn’t hurt them. Paulie let James know that Victor wants to get it down to the five guys and then take Corey and James out first.
