Big Brother 18 Day 52 - James receives the care package
August 5, 2016
11:00-12:00 AM: While everyone else slept, Nicole spoke to the live feeders. She said that the house is so much crazier this time. Nicole thinks that there are a lot of gamers in the house and that it is a good cast. Nicole mentioned that Bridgette is a very sweet girl and she really likes her. On the topic of crying, Nicole said she does a better job in the house than in real life. She explained that she doesn’t let things hurt her feelings as much. Nicole said she played emotionally last time and it got her nowhere, since she left in 9th place and then in 7th place, so she didn’t come there to be emotional this time around. Nicole thinks it’s a good thing that she is not winning competitions yet, though she said she had better win if her butt is on the line. As for Corey, Nicole that not in a million years did she think she would find someone distracting or cute on the show again. Nicole said it is stressful because she is trying to stay focused. She believes that she is more focused than last time. Nicole said she loves Paulie because she loves how determined he is and how he gets things done. She said that she trusts him 100% with her Big Brother life.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole continued to talk to the feeders. She said there are a lot of pairs in the house. She mentioned that Michelle and Zakiyah have to be broken up. She also said Natalie would be a good one to get out since she is paired up with both Bridgette and James. Nicole called Paul and Paulie the strongest duo.
1:00-2:00 PM: Nicole told Corey that if the veto competition has prizes, she doesn’t want to win the veto but doesn’t want Michelle and Zakiyah to win it if they are on the block. Nicole thought that it would look bad if she chose a prize over the veto if Michelle or Zakiyah had the veto. Corey didn’t think it was a big deal. Nicole figured that she would have a good shot at going on the block as the replacement nominee if she were to do that. Nicole talked about how Natalie likely would have nominated the boys if she won. Nicole revealed that Natalie had promised her that she would never put her up because she would never go after the girls. Nicole told Corey that Natalie wants a girl to win and said she would vote for one to win the game. Nicole discussed a hair twirling incident. Corey said Natalie saw what Nicole had done. Nicole then decided that Natalie would put her up over that hair twirling. Nicole said she has to get Natalie out soon. Nicole told Corey that she realized last night that she would be cool with Victor taking her out but not with Natalie taking her out. Nicole said she would be good with Natalie leaving this week since Michelle and Zakiyah wouldn’t put them up. Corey argued that Natalie can’t win anything. Nicole said Natalie has a crush on Corey. Corey pointed out that that’s not a strategic reason for going after her. Nicole argued that it is since Natalie will nominate her because of it. Corey said Natalie likes James, but Nicole said Natalie was in love with Corey. Corey continued to say it’s not smart to get Natalie out. Nicole said she will get evicted if she is on the block next to Natalie, just like she did while up next to Victoria. Nicole said James is Derrick, Paulie is Cody, Paul is Zach, Victor is Caleb and Michelle is Christine. She questioned if she is supposed to sit there and let everything happened the same way that it did last time.
2:00-3:00 PM: Nicole told Corey she is completely okay with working with “Derrick”, “Cody” and “Caleb”. However, she said that she doesn’t want the Final 3 to be the same as last time by being James, Natalie and Paulie. Nicole told Corey that voting Zakiyah out is not good for them since they will be seen as more of a threat. Nicole said Paulie secretly wants to keep Zakiyah. Corey thinks Paulie wants Zakiyah gone. Nicole reiterated that Paulie and Zakiyah would have to be broken up before people see the tow of them as threats. Nicole said her life will be complete if she makes it to the Final 5, because she wants to do better than last time. She mentioned that it frustrates her how the girl who doesn’t know anything or win anything gets taken the furthest. She used Britney as an example during Big Brother 12. The houseguests went outside for the reveal of the second care package. James received it and has the ability to prevent two houseguests from voting at the next eviction. Paul went around saying that it will not matter since the vote is going to be unanimous anyway. Corey told Nicole he thinks America gave it to James because they fear Natalie will go up. Nicole said Natalie would have to be the favourite then, which is bizarre to her. Nicole wondered if America wants her out and that’s why she didn’t receive the care package. She figured they couldn’t be sure that she is safe with Victor. Nicole said she was happy until Corey brought up that America might be trying to protect Natalie.
3:00-4:00 PM: Victor’s plan remains to nominate Michelle and Zakiyah. Paulie told Corey that Paul is the one who wants Zakiyah out because he wants to reel Michelle in. Paulie said Paul is playing a really smart game. Paulie pointed out that it will be tough for them to get Da’Vonne or Michelle’s jury votes if they are at the end with Paul. Paulie suggested that they should keep Victor around long enough to let him win another HoH and take another shot at someone. Corey said Michelle can go this week, then Bridgette can go next week. Paulie said he wouldn’t mind being at the end with Corey, James, Paul and either Nicole or Zakiyah. Paulie brought up that Nicole and Zakiyah will not go after them. James joined them. Paulie let him know that they are thinking of taking a shot at Bridgette during the double. Corey told the guys that Natalie is 1000% sold on never putting a girl up and on making sure that the girls win. Paulie said Nicole has been the most levelheaded of the girls. He mentioned Paul being petrified of Nicole. Paulie thinks that Nicole would only nominate Paul and Victor out of the guys. The guys talked about getting Victor out sooner than later once they thought about it. Paulie suggested waiting until there are just three girls left, but not letting it get down until the Final 5 of guys. Corey said they should not pass up a shot at Victor even if it’s during the double next week. They talked about selling Victor on the “Executives” alliance. Paulie suggested telling him that they can go down as the best alliance ever. Paulie said they have a solid five and can pick Victor off at the right time since they have the girls on their side. Paulie said it’s time to plan out how to get to the Final 3 together.
4:00-5:00 PM: Nicole asked Paulie what he wants to see happen this week. he said he is fine with either Michelle or Zakiyah to go but he wants Michelle gone. Nicole said James would likely be happy with that because Michelle has said she wants Natalie out. Paulie told Corey and Nicole that Paul wants to keep Michelle so that he can bring her closer. Nicole worried that Zakiyah may nominate her. Corey said Nicole and Zakiyah will be brought closer if Michelle leaves. Nicole asked if Victor is going to be the target for the double. Paulie suggested taking a shot at Bridgette since Victor will always go after Natalie as long as she is still in the house with him. Paulie headed up to the HoH room. Paul pushed for Michelle to stay and Zakiyah to go. Paul said Zakiyah would make a strategic move if she were to stay. He added that she is the stronger of the two and should go first. Paulie agreed with him that Zakiyah is stronger than Michelle. Paulie told Victor he is on board for whatever and he has said from the beginning that he wants to be with the boys, make a solid alliance and make another smaller alliance within that alliance like they have with The Executives and The Board.
6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned following the nomination ceremony. Victor nominated Michelle and Zakiyah for eviction. Michelle was crying in the safari room. Many of the houseguests gathered around her in attempt to calm her down. She was upset that Victor had called her mean in his speech. Natalie told Michelle she is always there for her. Michelle pointed out that she didn’t tell her how the votes were going to go. She said said she knew she would be going up and she bets everyone knew she would be going up too. Michelle brought up that she wasn’t the one who nominated and backdoored Victor. Michelle continued to cry. She said there is nothing she can do and she is going to go lay in bed all day. Big Brother then called her to the diary room. Paulie told Zakiyah that comments like the one Michelle made about not being the one who nominated and backdoored Victor are the reason he wants her gone. Paulie told Zakiyah that he will get James to eliminate the votes of anyone who is voting against her. Paul stopped by the HoH room to tell Victor that this reaction is exactly why they need Michelle to stay. He then went to Nicole to tell her the same thing, saying that Michelle is an emotional wreck and will never win anything.
7:00-8:00 PM: Paulie told Paul that James, Corey and Nicole are set on getting Michelle out. Paul said that’s a problem. He said they will need to get James to cancel other people’s votes out because they need to be voting. Meanwhile, Natalie told James that she needs to get Michelle to not be mad at her. James said it doesn’t matter since Michelle is going home. James explained that they will get Zakiyah to take a shot at Victor next week. Natalie said the guys are scared of Victor and want him to think they are on his side if he returns. Natalie said she will go after all of the guys if Victor returns and put her on the block.
8:00-9:00 PM: James let Natalie know that Corey said she is all about girl power, she does not want to go after the girls and she wants a girl to win the game. Natalie said that’s a lie. She pointed out that she was quick to want Nicole out when she was talking crap about her. Natalie said Corey is so annoying. Natalie told James she would vote for him to win over Bridgette. She also said she would vote for Paulie to win over Nicole since Nicole has not been nice to her. Natalie claimed that she will vote for a girl to win if they have been mean or catty to her. Natalie said Nicole is playing so dirty this season, since she is the one who talked to her about wanting a girl to win. Natalie said Nicole told her how many girls have won the game and she was talking about wanting another to win. Natalie said she is sure that Nicole took charge of the girls alliance, whereas she was not even in one. Natalie called Nicole a snake and Corey a gossiping girl. Natalie said Corey tells the guys everything he hears. Natalie explained that Nicole will talk to people when it’s time for nominations so that she is on their good side, then she only talks to Corey once nominations are done. James said he can take Nicole out if he wins HoH. Natalie questioned how Corey even knows anything about her. James said because Nicole tells him things. Natalie said Corey gets under her skin, is mean to her, makes fun of her and thinks that he is God’s gift to earth.
9:00-10:00 PM: Zakiyah asked James if he would use the veto on her if she chooses him. James said yeah. He said they are all taking her down. James then asked who would go up. Paul said exactly. James then changed his answer, saying he would not want to go against he HoH, so he would do whatever the HoH wants. After James left, Zakiyah mentioned that James just said he doesn’t go against the HoH but the HoH wanted Bridgette out last week. She said she is confused. Michelle and Zakiyah chatted in the have-not room. Michelle said she will tell Victor that he didn’t get the jester hat in his HoH room for no reason, then she will say he’s a fool if he thinks these people want him in the house. Michelle went on to say that she would tell Victor that Paulie didn’t drop for no reason, since he wants to play in the double eviction in order to get Victor out. Zakiyah figured that Paulie convinced Victor to put her up. Zakiyah said Paulie claimed to have no idea. Michelle said it’s BS because there is no way Victor could keep his mouth shut. Michelle also called BS on Nicole saying that she would use the veto on her. Michelle said if she is on her way out, she will tell everyone to watch out for Nicole and Paulie because they are playing everyone. Michelle assured Zakiyah that she would campaign for her if she manages to save herself.
10:00-11:00 PM: Paulie told Zakiyah that he will sway the votes in order to get Michelle out if the nominations remain the same after the veto ceremony. He encouraged her to focus on winning the competition. Paulie said the four of them can finally chill if Michelle is gone. Elsewhere, Michelle told Natalie that she has her vote to win the game if she is in the end with one of the guys. Michelle asked Natalie if she would use the veto on her if she were to pick her to play. Natalie said yeah. She told Michelle she is not the best in competitions but she will give it her all. Zakiyah told Michelle that she plans to pick Paulie to play because it would at least show her that Paulie is with the others if he throws the competitions or chooses not to use the veto on her.
11:00-12:00 AM: Paulie told James that Paul and Victor are still dead set on getting Zakiyah out. Paulie thinks that Paul put it in Victor’s head that Zakiyah needs to go. Paulie told James it would be best for their game and for Corey’s game if they kept Zakiyah around. As for Paul and Victor, Paulie said it would be best for them to get Zakiyah out. Paulie thinks that Zakiyah would go after Bridgette, Victor and likely even Natalie before she would come after them, while he is not so confident that Michelle would do the same. Paulie called Michelle jealousy driven and attention driven. For that reason, he said Michelle will not go after anyone who is giving her attention. However, Paulie said he believes he could pull Michelle in closer than the others could even if she were the one to stay. James brought up that he thinks Nicole has been involved in more than they think she has. He said Nicole has been able to cover it up since they have been evicting anyone who has doubted her. Paulie said he could totally see that being the case. He pointed out that Tiffany was gone before she could give anything up, Frank dropped stuff about Nicole before he left, and then Da’Vonne was gone before she could give anything up. Paulie thinks that Nicole would take a shot at Victor. He told James that Victor is a buffer for if Nicole or Zakiyah win HoH.
