Big Brother 18 Day 59 - Victor nominates Corey and Paulie
August 12, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Natalie and Michelle discussed that they really hope Victor goes through with the plan to nominate Corey and Paulie. Natalie said she is proud of them. Michelle said Paulie would have been safe this week if not for them exposing him. Natalie said she wishes that she had won HoH because her speech would have been epic. Natalie said she would have congratulated Nicole for making it on to the block for the first time this season. She then wanted to bring up that Paulie said James is blinded by her boobs, so he must always be thinking about them because he is always talking about them. Natalie said Paulie thinks she is fake but he shouldn’t mistake her kindness for weakness because kindness can also kill. Natalie told Michelle that she would have went off on Nicole, calling her a snake and telling her to keep slithering in the dark. Natalie feels as though she made numerous attempts to be friends with Nicole but Nicole was not open to it. For that reason, Natalie said she is done playing nice with Nicole and also with Corey and Paulie since she had tried to be their friends. Michelle said she didn’t like Nicole much on her season because she didn’t really do anything and just stuck to Hayden. Michelle said Nicole apparently doesn’t like girls, so she expected that Nicole would not be a fan of her since they are both from Michigan and have glasses. Michelle told Natalie that Nicole said in her Big Brother 16 interview that girls don’t like her for some reason. Michelle said there is a reason. Natalie said girls that say that are making an excuse and are the ones that have the problem.
11:00-12:00 PM: The third America’s Care Package was delivered. Nicole received “Super Safety”. She is safe for the week but she will have to wear a costume. Nicole thanked America numerous times, saying that she is so happy. Paulie told Nicole that it worked out perfectly and fits in with his plan. Paulie had been talking to Paul about exposing that the five guys are together after nominations. Paul asked what they will do about Nicole knowing. Paulie didn’t care. He said he can say whatever he wants now that Zakiyah is gone.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole told Corey that people are pissed about her receiving the care package. Corey said it is so good for their game and he was hoping that Nicole would get it. Nicole said Corey doesn’t have anything to worry about this week, but she was afraid. Nicole told Corey that the big thing is that it makes her feel good that people want her safe. Nicole mentioned that Victor does not look happy. Corey said that’s just because he will have to nominate a guy if someone comes off of the block. He expects Michelle and Natalie to be nominated later today. Corey pointed out that getting Michelle out could be best since Natalie has already won a care package, making it easier for he or Paulie to receive the next one. Paul told James and Natalie that Michelle already said she will go up as a pawn if Corey or Paulie win the veto. James said it’s done that either Corey or Paulie is going home. Paul agreed. Natalie said it’s 5 against 2 as long as one of them leaves this week. Paul questioned why they are afraid when they have the numbers. James said Corey or Paulie need to go because if it’s not them, one of their own will be leaving next week hands down.
1:00-2:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Victor told Paul that Paulie is going to be so blindsided. Paulie had just finished telling Victor about what he plans to say to Michelle once she is on the block. Paul said he trusted Paulie a lot. Victor said he did too. Paul said Corey and Paulie dont care about them and they would be stupid not to see it. Paul mentioned that Paulie claimed he didn’t care who left last week but then he went nuts once Zakiyah left. Victor told Paul he found out that Da’Vonne whispering to him that he was the double eviction backdoor target was true. Victor pointed out that Paulie already evicted him once before. Paul said he was the backup plan that week. Victor said Corey and Paulie know that they will clip them when they have the chance. Paul said that is why they have to take the shot this week. Paul guaranteed that America will send them a care package if they take the shot at Corey and Paulie this week. Paul said they will be in the Final 5 if they successfully get Corey, Paulie and Nicole out. Victor asked if Paul thinks they can make a Final 4 deal with James and Natalie. Paul said yeah but they agreed to wait until they get those three out first. Both guys agreed that they need to take Natalie to the Final 3 over James. Paulie joined them. He said America may have worried they were going to target Nicole over Michelle. Paulie said he thinks that he and Nicole would be the only ones to get that care package after everything that transpired this week. Paulie said sending Michelle home is the best thing they can do. He then backtracked and said it’s up to the guys. Paulie brought up nominating James if Michelle or Natalie save themselves. He said James will be showing his cards to the boys if he uses the veto on Natalie because it would force a guy to go up. Paulie assured the guys that he is fine with losing to them in the end, just like Cody was fine with taking his boy and losing. Paul went downstairs to let James know that Paulie said he cannot win the veto because he would save Natalie. Natalie hoped that Victor would go through with the plan to nominate Corey and Victor. Both James and Paul reassured her that Victor will.
3:00-4:00 PM: Paulie told Corey his mind is still going because James, Natalie, Paul and Michelle keep meeting in the bedroom. He also observed that Victor is acting weird towards them. Nicole said they are going to be okay this week. She added that she has a really good feeling about the week ahead. Paulie worried that Paul may have told Victor that he was going to backdoor him. Paulie still believed that the plan is to nominate Michelle and Natalie. He told Corey and Nicole that they have to win the veto and leave the nominations the same. Nicole said she would never use it no matter what she was offered. Nicole thinks James hates that she got the care package because he has been playing for America. Corey said James went against America’s side. Paulie agreed that America likes them. Nicole said she wouldn’t switch sides just to be on the side that America likes, because she is being strategic. Nicole said James hurt her heart. Paulie said his heart feels like he went through a breakup after the move that James made against the three people that he was closest to. Paulie said they should vote Natalie out over Michelle to get back at James. Nicole wasn’t sure that it would be the smart thing to do. Both Paulie and Nicole agreed that Michelle is Victor's target this week.
4:00-5:00 PM: Nicole told Corey that keeping Paulie around is good for them because he is a huge target, he wins a lot of competitions and he is on their side. Nicole asked when she is getting cut. Corey told her that she would be the last girl to go based on his knowledge. Nicole asked if Corey wants to get rid of her. Corey said no and told her that he and Paulie would never put her up. Corey thought that James would want to go after Paul and Victor next. Nicole said that would be the strategic move. Corey told Nicole that Paul or Victor need to go next. The two discussed that they, along with Paulie, will control the votes if they don’t go up. Corey said they had better not put one of them up. Nicole said she is going to be pissed if Corey goes on the block. She said at least Paulie deserves to. Nicole encouraged Corey to remind Victor that he had the perfect opportunity to backdoor him and didn’t even think about it.
6:00-7:00 PM: Victor nominated Corey and Paulie for eviction. Victor told Paulie it was straight strategy. Paulie said he gets it. Victor bought up that Paulie put him on the block and sent him home. Paulie said he did put Victor up but he didn’t expect him to go home. Paulie said he was on the outside of an eight person alliance. Victor told Paulie that he will understand if Paulie takes himself down and comes after him. Paulie said he wouldn’t do that because he is not about that. Paulie asked Victor who said he was going to backdoor Victor. Victor said he heard it was part of a meeting with Da’Vonne. Victor reminded Paulie that he didn’t even give him a chance to play in the veto competition, unlike what he just did to Corey and Paulie. Victor said he wasn’t bitter when he got put up and he hopes they aren’t bitter now that they were put up. Nicole mentioned that Corey could have backdoored anybody yesterday. Victor said he could have put Corey up the time before too. Victor explained that he feels Corey and Paulie are closer than anyone else there, dragging Nicole along. Victor said they are stronger than the others. Paulie asked if they are stronger than James. Victor said yes. Victor brought up the alliance that Paulie had with Corey, Nicole, Michelle and Zakiyah. Paulie said they already talked about that. Victor said that doesn’t make it go away. Paulie brought up how he was loyal to the five guys and that’s why he left Zakiyah up on the block for the taking. Victor said Paulie left her on the block because he knew she would stay, so those are two very different things. Paulie said people should have spoke up if they wanted Zakiyah to go. Victor said he did make it clear that he wanted Zakiyah to go but he couldn’t keep pushing it when it was not going to happen. Victor said Paulie pushed for Zakiyah to stay both in group and individual settings. Paulie said he would have listened to Victor’s opinion on it. Victor said his opinion doesn’t mean as much when he doesn’t have a vote. Victor added that sending Bridgette home was not good for his own game either. Paul said all five of them cannot win the game, so this was bound to happen. Paulie asked if the plan is to vote one of them out if the other comes down. The guys said they haven’t thought about it yet. They played it off as though they just found out about all of this too. James said his vote will not be going to whoever makes the most hostility. Paulie said he thinks that was aimed towards him. Paulie said he will be cool. Paulie said props to Michelle for for manipulating the hell out of the house. Michelle said she thought that she didn’t blow up his game. Paulie was not happy with the comment. He brought up that he never thought his own alliance member would turn on him. Michelle said Paulie did that to her. Paulie said she did it to herself. Paulie told Michelle she blew up a lot of his game but the one piece she misses is that the five guys had something. Paulie got upset that Michelle was laughing. She said she doesn’t know what Paulie is trying to do by coming in there and coming at her. He said he wanted to have a normal conversation and talk things over but then this happened. Paulie asked Paul to be straight up with him. Paul said he didn’t know so don’t ask him ten times. Paul said Paulie told him their beef was squashed yet he still went around asking people things about him. Paul said he had no doubt about things and just wanted to know what happened. Paul said it’s a slap in the face when he has done nothing but had Paulie’s back. Paulie said he still had Paul’s back with everyone. Paul questioned why Paulie would talk about the five guys alliance in front of Nicole. He asked why she would be okay with it. Paulie said she is safe right now. Paul told Paulie to focus on the veto. He advised Paulie not to hold any animosity towards Victor. Paulie said he will not.
7:00-8:00 PM: Paulie told Corey that he may not use the veto on himself if he wins it. He said he may use it on Corey. Paulie was crying while speaking to Corey. Paulie said if there is any way to keep both of them there, it will be happening. Corey said he will be mad if Paulie uses the veto on him. They both said they love each other before wrapping up the talk. Nicole asked James if he knew that this was going to happen. James said he thought Natalie was going up. Nicole asked if Victor did this on his own. James said he guesses so. James told Corey and Nicole that he knows Paulie was talking about getting him out this week or next. Nicole told James that he broke her heart. James said it’s nothing towards Corey and Nicole. He explained that everything that happened was between him and Paulie. James said he would go after everybody but Corey, Nicole and Natalie. Nicole spoke to Victor and said she felt like it would have been her going up if she didn’t have safety. Victor said no. He said he has someone else in mind who would have been the replacement nominee even if Nicole weren’t safe. Victor explained that the five guys were supposed to steamroll all of the girls in the house but then Paulie started making other alliances. Victor mentioned Nicole is involved in one of those Final 3s. Nicole denied being in one. Nicole asked if Corey is the target. Victor said Paulie is the target but one of them will be going home. Nicole said she understands where Victor is coming from and she is glad that she wasn’t his target.
8:00-9:00 PM: Paulie told Victor that if both he and Corey are able to make it out of this week, they can still be a loyal group. Paulie said he is open to continuing on with their three person alliance and their five person alliance. Victor told Paulie he got confirmation from James that Corey, James and Paulie had a Final 3. Paulie said James came to them about that on Day 20. Paulie said it’s funny that James started in and then ended up throwing them under the bus. Victor explained that Paulie was spreading himself out by being in numerous circles, whereas he only had one circle. Victor felt that it gives Paulie the opportunity to move around to different alliances when convenient. Paulie asked if a girl will be the replacement nominee and the target if he wins the veto. Victor said Michelle will go up but he doesn’t know how the vote will go. Paulie said they are so shocked about this move because of how loyal they were. Victor said that’s easy to do now. Victor reminded Paulie that he left by a 9-1 vote so he doesn’t owe anything to anyone or have any sympathy for anyone who is put on the block. Victor told Paulie that he backdoored him and didn’t even give him the chance to play for veto, so he can preach loyalty all he wants. Paulie assured Victor that he will not be the first person he comes after if he stays. Paulie said he will not go after James, Corey or Paul either.
9:00-10:00 PM: Natalie and Paulie had a long talk with each other, clearing the air on some issues including what Natalie did with Zakiyah and on comments that have been made about Natalie’s fake boobs. Natalie ended up apologizing for hurting Paulie’s feelings. Paulie said the same to her. Natalie asked if the guys had a guys alliance. Paulie confirmed that they did, telling Natalie that it was called The Executives. Paulie explained that what James did to him hurt him because they were so tight. Paulie said Cody would gather information from everyone and then bring it back to those who he was closest to. Paulie said he was doing the same thing and would share the information with James. Natalie encouraged Paulie to talk to James. Natalie headed back to talk to James first. She told James that Paulie is full of it, thinks he is perfect and thinks he makes no mistakes. Natalie said it was all a lie. She brought up Paulie saying that he has a mask in this house and it is not really him. Natalie questioned why she is then considered fake when she too has a strategy. Natalie told James that Paulie has lost his mind. Paulie joined them and told James his loyalty was undying when it came to Corey and James. Paulie said he would have protected them all the way to the end. Paulie explained that what James did was a gut shot since James was the one person he did not expect it to come from. Paulie said he will do everything he can to keep Corey safe if he takes himself off of the block. Paulie said he is cut from the same cloth as his brother and he is all about keeping the team together. Paulie assured James that he is fine with sticking with the guys even if they put him up time after time.
