Big Brother 18 Day 64 - James informs Corey that Paulie is campaigning
August 17, 2016
9:00-10:00 AM: Paulie let Natalie know that he thinks he has another person interested in hearing him out. Paulie said he would like to get them all in a room at the same time at some point. Paulie told Natalie that he spoke to James yesterday about how his game is done but something he has to offer is competition wins. Paulie said he is willing to take a shot at Victor, since it would be bad for James’ game and Natalie’s game to take that shot in case they miss and have him coming after them. Paulie told Natalie that he would be willing to leave himself open after taking that shot. Paulie explained that he can be used as a weapon in order to be someone else to compete on their side. If he wins HoH, Paulie said he would then be on the block the following week. Natalie asked Paulie to keep her in the loop. Paulie said he wants to get people together because he got similar vibes from someone else that he did from James and Natalie. Paulie claimed that he would stay loyal to his word and to the word of his family. Paulie thanked Natalie for hearing him out. Natalie thanked Paulie for talking to her. Natalie told James that it sucks since she is going to get put up on the block because she cannot compete to save herself due to her pulled neck. James told Natalie that she doesn’t know that. He said he is more likely to go on the block than Natalie is. James asked why people would piss them off when there are big targets left to take out. James said if he were Nicole, Corey, Paul or Victor, he would not come after the two of them. James told Natalie he feels like they have one more week of safety but he is going to try to win the competition anyway.
1:00-2:00 PM: Victor asked Michelle if Paulie has campaigned to her yet. Michelle said that he has not but apparently he is going to campaign to her, James and Natalie. Michelle brought up a potential speech to Corey and Nicole if she gets the chance to nominate them. She mentioned that they love laying in bed together all day and now they can be on the block together. She added that it will be fun watching them fight for their lives when they know that the other is going home. She said she would tell Corey that it’s obvious he has been throwing competitions and tell Nicole that she is sneaky, she is a liar and she likes to play dumb. Michelle said she may be getting a villain edit. While she did not think she had said much about Corey and Nicole, she worried about things she said about Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie early on. In the kitchen, James told Corey that he didn’t want to say anything to him since he knows which way he is voting, but Paulie has been campaigning for votes. James let Corey know that Paulie plans on asking Nicole for a sympathy vote in order to try to stack the votes for him. Corey asked James if there is any chance that he will vote him out. James said none. Corey then asked about Natalie. James suggested that Corey speak to Natalie because he tells her to vote whichever way she wants to. Paulie then came out of the diary room and broke up the conversation. Corey woke Nicole up to tell her that James said he is not voting him out but he needs to talk to Natalie. Nicole said it’s weird that Corey has to talk to Natalie since she will do whatever James tells her to do. Corey then let Nicole know that James said Paulie has been trying to get votes. He warned her that Paulie plans to ask for a sympathy vote. Nicole said she will not be giving Paulie a sympathy vote. She said she has no sympathy for someone going around saying that they are going to walk out of jury. Nicole told Corey that nobody else would do that. Nicole said she now cannot wait for her conversation with Paulie, since she is mad that he is going around campaigning. Nicole thinks that Corey has her vote, James’ vote, Michelle’s vote and Natalie’s vote, so he should be good to go. She said James would not vote Corey out even if he wants to because he would look bad. Nicole mentioned that Victor is always kissing Michelle’s butt. She said Michelle, Paul and Victor have a strong group of three.
3:00-4:00 PM: James informed Natalie that he had a talk with Paulie earlier today. He said he told Corey to talk to her because she make her own decision in terms of which way to vote. James also revealed that he told Corey about Paulie campaigning and planing to ask Nicole for a sympathy vote. James said Corey went straight to the have-not room to talk to Nicole afterwards, likely telling her what he had said. Natalie asked if James thinks it will get straight back to Paulie. James said he doesn’t care because Paulie is going home anyway. Paul joined them. James and Paul encouraged Natalie to tell Corey that she feels bad for Paulie. James said to throw in that Paulie has been offering her sweet deals.
5:00-6:00 PM: Paulie told Paul that he spoke to two others about getting three voters in a room in order to hear him out. Paul asked if it was James and Natalie. Paulie simply said "two more people". Paul said it can’t hurt to try to get them all together. Paulie said he has a feeling that James said something to Corey about him campaigning. Paulie told Paul that he feels bad and might tell Corey. Paul said it’s Paulie’s call, but he could let Corey know what he is doing and tell him that he can feel free to do the same. Paulie hoped that he would be given an answer so that he can mentally prepare for what he will be faced with tomorrow. Paul said he respects that. Paul told Paulie that he should take the shot at campaigning since the worst that happens is he gets told no. Paulie said he would let Corey know what he has done up until this point if Corey asks him about it. Paul said Corey likely wont have any animosity towards him for doing that.
6:00-7:00 PM: Paul let James know that Paulie said he thinks that James told Corey something. James admitted that he did. James, Natalie and Paul then discussed the upcoming care package. Paul figured that it would be the power to replace one of the nominees. Natalie mentioned that America might see Corey and Nicole not winning competitions and then they will want to help them out because of it. She said Corey is strong but he has been throwing competitions. James said they could be portrayed as the douchebags and Corey and Nicole could be the sweethearts that everyone is ganging up on. Paul was more confident that someone from their side would receive the care package. Victor joined them. Paul asked when he is going to start talking crap to Corey and Nicole in order to rattle them. Victor said he will do it whenever they feel safe. Paul mentioned doing something during the HoH competition. Victor said he doesn’t want to go too crazy since he cannot compete this week. Paul and James said Victor will go on the block regardless if those two win HoH. Elsewhere, Nicole was crying after being in the diary room to record her goodbye messages. She worried that Corey would leave. Corey told her that no one will come after her if he is gone. Nicole said who knows. She became concerned that James has not talked to her since he had a chance to do so. Corey encouraged Nicole to talk to James. Nicole said she is not allowed to because Natalie gets mad. Nicole asked if Corey has spoken to Natalie yet. Corey said no and he doesn’t even know what to say since Natalie would be stupid to vote him out. Corey told Nicole he thinks that everything will be okay. Nicole said it pisses her off that there is even a possibility of Corey leaving. Corey told her it was bound to happen. Nicole said she will be so happy if she wins HoH tomorrow. She told Corey that she will 100% be nominating Paul and Victor. Elsewhere, Paulie campaigned to James and Paul. He explained that he can be used as a weapon to take a shot at Victor. After that, he said he would be open for the taking. Paulie said he understand if it’s not in their best interest to have someone take a shot at Victor yet. He also said he would understand if it’s not in their best interest to keep him. Michelle and Natalie then broke the talk up.
7:00-8:00 PM: Paulie let Natalie know that he had a quick talk with James and Paul about what he wants to do. Paulie said they can talk about it at a later time and he can know his fate. Natalie said she will be honest about which way she is going to vote. Paulie said he has the competition side of things to offer, being able to go head to head with Victor. He said he will then accept his fate if he cannot get Victor out. Paulie said he has a feeling that Natalie has a voice in this situation. Paulie said if his fate is to go to the jury house, he wants to be able to prep himself on how to not leave there. Paulie told Natalie that he has made his amends on a personal level with everybody. Paulie said he is now presenting to James, Paul and Natalie on a strategic level that it will be hard to get Victor out. He added that he has two comps left in him to get things done before he hangs up the boots. Paulie figured that James fed Natalie information. Natalie said James kept everything tight lipped with her but she realized a lot of things by herself through observing.
8:00-9:00 PM: Michelle told Paul and Victor she thinks that Nicole would put her up because she would be too afraid to put the two of them up. Michelle said Corey would likely put her up next to James. Paul told Victor that he needs to rattle Corey and Nicole tomorrow. They discussed that Nicole would easily be rattled. The group then mocked Paulie for saying he wouldn’t campaign against his boy and then doing just that. Victor said Paulie thinks he is The Messiah now, telling people that he is the only one who can take down the great Victor. Paul said the funny part of it is that Paulie is saying to keep the guy who can beat the guy that nobody can beat, leaving them with an even tougher competitor. Out in the kitchen, James told Corey and Nicole that he is 99% sure that Paulie will be leaving tomorrow. Nicole said that’s good and he had better be leaving. Nicole said she is not prepared for a blindside. James said he wont be mad if Corey or Nicole decide to put him up. Nicole said she was talking about the vote and not about putting James up. Corey said he is not putting her up. Nicole said “in front of America, I am not putting James up”. James said he knows that Natalie will vote with him, though he will never tell her what she has to do.
9:00-10:00 PM: James reported back to Natalie, telling her that Corey and Nicole said they are not putting them up. James said they are in a good spot in the middle right now. Natalie told James he still has to try to win HoH or else she will pop him in the head. Paul joined them. He said that he will stay in the competition until Corey and Nicole are eliminated. After that, Paul said he would drop out to give Natalie HoH if possible. However, he worried about throwing HoH to Michelle. James agreed. Natalie thought Michelle would do what they need her to do. Paul said he would rather not take that risk. Michelle then joined them. Paul encouraged her to mess with Nicole. Michelle mentioned that she can say to Nicole that she is feeling the same way she did when she got blindsided by the Da’Vonne vote. Out in the kitchen, Corey spoke to Natalie about her vote. He asked if she has decided what she is doing yet. Natalie said she thinks she has. She brought up that Corey will not be putting her up and she has never had any issues with him. Natalie explained that she wants to keep Corey but she wants to see what everyone else is thinking. She told Corey that Paulie has been promising that he will keep her safe, and also made her feel bad by bringing his aunt up.
12:00-1:00 AM: While Michelle was in the safari room with Paulie, Paul told James and Natalie that she is getting an earful. James said that’s why they cannot keep Paulie around. Paul said there are a million reasons not to keep him. James and Paul agreed that Paulie goes insane if you give him the smallest bit of hope. Natalie said she is going to win HoH tomorrow. James told them all not to get too confident since Paulie might have the round trip ticket. Victor said he would look for the red button to self evict if so. Natalie asked if they should evict Corey in case Paulie has the round trip ticket. Paul told her that that’s the dumbest thing ever. Natalie told James, Paul and Victor that she would genuinely be happy if one of them were to win the game. They all agreed. Paul said he is committed to the four. Back in the safari room, Nicole told Corey and Paulie that God is probably sick of hearing her because she has been praying so much. Paulie said he was thinking about making a deal with the devil, offering his soul in exchange for the round trip ticket. Nicole told him not to do that. Paulie said he was only kidding. If he has the round trip, Paulie said he would nominate Paul and Victor. If one of them wins the veto, he said he would nominate James in their place.
1:00-2:00 AM: Paulie told Michelle that it would be funny if she were to team back up with Corey and Nicole after he leaves. Michelle said she thinks Nicole hates her since she leaves the room every time she walks in. Both Corey and Paulie tried to assure her that that’s not the case. When asked about her plan for next week, Michelle said she is a lone wolf and she hasn’t had a chance to think about it. Paulie said there is no way that she is a lone wolf. He told her to come back to their side regardless of which way the votes go. Paulie said Michelle is sitting in a pretty good spot, since there are three duos and she is sitting in the middle of it all. Corey told Michelle she has everyone on her side. Paulie advised Michelle to take out the most powerful couple, referring to Paul and Victor. He suggested Michelle target them, use her relationship with Natalie to remain close to James, and stick with Corey and Nicole. Paulie told Michelle that those people are using her for her information about the days but they are not sharing game information with her.
