Big Brother 18 Day 65 - Paulie is evicted; Natalie wins HoH
August 18, 2016
1:00-2:00 PM: Paulie asked Natalie to give it to him straight. He questioned if he should be prepping to see Julie tonight. Natalie said she is voting to keep Corey. Natalie admitted that she was enticed by his offer. Paulie said he put a good deal on the table and Corey must have made a good deal as well. Paulie asked why she decided to vote the other way. Natalie said it was a lot of things. She told Paulie that Corey said he is not coming after her. Paulie said he doesn’t think that anyone will come after her. Paulie then asked Paul about his vote. He said he cannot be the only one voting to keep Paulie unless he really wants a sympathy vote. Paul said he has to go with the consensus. Paulie said it’s fine if they think it’s the better strategic move to keep Corey. Paul told Paulie that he and James alone cannot save him. Paulie said he could work on Michelle if he has the two of them. Paulie reassured Natalie that he will not be after her and that he will watch James’ back. James had joined them by that point. Paulie campaigned to the three as a group. He explained he could tell people that he asked for three sympathy votes and nobody talked to each other about it, so that’s how he ended up staying. Natalie said she would throw him a sympathy vote if Victor is fine with it. Paulie explained that he mentioned the sympathy vote plan as a way to keep the heat off of the three of them so they can play it off as though it wasn’t a master plan. It was brought up that it would be risky to go against Victor. Paulie said he will be taking the heat from Victor as long as he is in the house. Paulie asked why they wouldn’t let him take a shot at Victor if he is the one who they are fearing. He suggested that it would be easy to make him the outcast the following week if Victor wins HoH again. Paul said keeping Paulie is a move that he doesn’t know if he is willing to make since he fully trusted Paulie at one point. Paul said he can’t put his neck out there and chance that everything goes perfectly, because things never go perfectly. Paulie told them that they can’t think about what the HoH wants at this point in the game. Natalie said Paulie was already running the house and it would be scary to keep him. Paulie admitted to that being true in the past but he said it is now done because everyone knows his game. Natalie said he had the perfect social game, he controlled the entire house and he can win any competition. Natalie explained that part of the decision is also personal since he was talking about her being a fake Jersey girl. Natalie clarified that everything she has said to people has been genuine. Natalie told Paulie his deal was very enticing but she is not going to go for it. Paulie continued to work on them, saying he wants to take the shot at Victor in order to help them get one step further, then he will be wide open and let himself be taken out. James left to go inform some of the others that Paulie is campaigning hard. Paulie continued to talk to Natalie, telling her that he has two more competitions left in him and he can win them both to send Victor out. After that, he said he will lay down and it will give James and Natalie a clear path to run the table. Natalie said she believes what he is saying but it is a hard decision.
2:00-3:00 PM: Paulie worked on Paul. Paul told him that he doesn’t think his vote is going to change. Paulie said that James and Paul would only have to worry about each other if they let him take Victor out and then send him home. Paulie told Paul that he would be fine with going at that point and he would sway the jury to vote for Paul because he would deserve it if he makes it to the end. Paulie said Paul is the only one who is as good as he is at swaying people with his words. After the talk ended, Paulie spoke to the feeders. He said this is his last ditch effort. Paulie said he will not go down without a fight and he has something cooking if he can pull this off. Paulie said he will still be trying to make it to the end if he can stay this week, so don’t think that he will be rolling over and dying. Paulie then went to Corey and Nicole. He told them that he is glad he knows his fate since he can prepare. Paulie told the two not to let people get in between them. He said he will try to get himself back into the house, then he will cause havoc and not lose a competition.
3:00-4:00 PM: Nicole thought that Victor was acting weird towards her. He brought up that her telling people that he asked her out on a date caused a lot of crap for him. Nicole asked if he asked her out. Victor denied it. Nicole said she is not bringing something up from the beginning of the game. Victor said it’s because she knows that she is wrong. Victor added that he has heard Nicole is telling people that he is being malicious and trying to get between her and Corey. Nicole said she thought that it was a huge joke and she thought it was hilarious. Nicole claimed that she has nothing to hide and she would laugh about it, so she doesn’t know why people would tell him that she thinks he is malicious. Victor said he is simply telling her what he heard. Nicole assured Victor that she did not think he was malicious. Nicole told Victor that she didn’t say he asked her out on a date, though she told someone the things that he said about her because she took it as a compliment. Nicole said it got blown out of proportion from there. Elsewhere, Paulie continued to campaign to Paul. He asked him to let him take a shot at Victor. Paul said Natalie is not on board. Paulie said she will be if he and James talk to her. Paulie asked Paul to fight for him.
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Paulie was evicted by a vote of 5-0. Paulie had a one way ticket and did not return to the game. We found out that Paul had the round trip ticket. Julie announced to the viewers that one of the first five jurors will be returning to the game.
7:00-8:00 PM: Natalie told Corey she has nothing against him. Corey said he is ride or die with them. Nicole told Corey that she tried to throw Paul under the bus hard to James, saying that Paul told her that James is after her and Corey. Nicole said they are doomed if Michelle or Paul win HoH. In the bedroom, Natalie spoke to Paul, telling him that he has nothing to worry about with James. They discussed that Paulie said plenty of things to try to turn them all against each other before he left. Paul said he will be nominating Corey and Nicole if he wins HoH. Paul brought up that they gave each other their word, so he hopes they are sticking to it until Final 4 when they battle it out. Natalie said she is sticking to her word. James joined them. Paul said Corey and Nicole will say anything and everything to create doubt within their group since they know that the five of them are all working together. Paul explained that Paulie tried to pin them all against each other, but he put Corey and Nicole in the equation for everyone to work with. Paul asked James if he still trusts Corey. James said he doesn’t trust anybody right now. Paul asked if he trusts him, Natalie and Victor at least. James said yeah. Paul told James and Natalie that Corey and Nicole will try to play the innocent card but they need to stay level headed and finish the plan. James and Natalie headed upstairs to chat. Both agreed that Paul threw them under the bus. James said he doesn’t think that Nicole would name drop Paul that hard if he she was lying. Natalie said Nicole is telling the truth and that’s why Paul is so paranoid. James said he never trusted Paul 100%. Natalie said she is coming after Paul now that he threw her name under the bus. Natalie told James that she would prefer to backdoor Paul. James didn’t think that Paul would win the veto anyway. James asked who Natalie thinks Paul would nominate. Natalie said Corey and Nicole but he is not going to try to win HoH. James told Natalie that he plans to call Paul out if he wins HoH, asking Nicole in front of Paul if Paul actually said they were coming after Nicole and Corey.
8:00-9:00 PM: Natalie asked Nicole what Paulie told her that Paul said. Nicole said she was told that Paul said James is coming after them. Natalie asked if Nicole swears that Paul said it. Nicole said yes, adding that he is very smart and a schemer. Nicole went to James and asked him to please fight for HoH because her game is on the line since Paul is coming after her. James said he will be fighting for it. He said Paul is pissing him off and he is now playing Paulie’s game. Nicole told James and Natalie that the three of them and Corey all need to be there next week because Victor counts as three people. James asked Natalie who they should nominate Paul against. Natalie said she doesn’t care but they will get Corey and Nicole on their side if they nominate him. Natalie thinks that they will still be able to get Victor on their side, seeing as Nicole said she would tell Victor the truth about what Paul has been saying about him throughout the season.
1:00-2:00 AM: Feeds returned after being down for five and a half hours for the HoH competition. Natalie is the new HoH.
2:00-3:00 AM: Natalie said she cannot believe that she won HoH. Paul said he is proud of her even if she puts him on the block. He said it was a hard competition. Victor pointed out that she has the power right now. Natalie said she never thought that this would happen to her. Natalie said it feels surreal and she has now met her goals. Natalie asked multiple times if everyone had thrown the competition to her. Victor told Paul that James and Natalie may have made a deal with Corey and Nicole in order to have two Final 4s. Paul said he was thinking the same thing earlier. Nicole told Corey that Michelle, Paul and Victor definitely think that Natalie will nominate the two of them but she doesn’t think that Natalie will. Nicole said she trusts Natalie. She told Corey that she felt safe as long as she beat Paul. Nicole figures that Michelle, Paul and Victor will try to talk Natalie into nominating her alongside Corey. Corey said they haven’t done anything to Natalie. He suggested that Nicole suck up to Natalie in order to keep them off of the block. Nicole said she doesn’t want to make it obvious especially when Natalie already made a promise to her. Natalie quickly spoke to James and told him that she doesn’t know what is going to do. In the bedroom, Corey and Nicole continued to chat. Corey said he doesn’t want the care package this week. He said he would prefer to have Michelle get it. Nicole explained that Corey needs it this week whether he likes it or not, because Michelle is with Paul and Victor. Corey eventually agreed and said he needs the care package. Corey said it would be the dumbest thing ever to keep both Paul and Victor around. Nicole said she doesn’t think that Natalie will put them up. At the very least, Nicole didn’t think that the two of them would be nominated together. She said Natalie only promised not to put her up. She said she hopes that Natalie will respect how well Corey did in the competition and not nominate her.
3:00-4:00 AM: Paul told Natalie that he is sticking to their friendship. H told her if there is something in the best interest of her, go ahead and do that. Natalie said she respects that. Natalie thanked Victor for getting Paulie out. Victor said he is sticking to what they have said. He pointed out that he has done that twice already. Paul told Natalie that he will not bug her and he just wants her to know that she earned this win. Paul said she did a good job. Later, Victor asked Michelle if she thinks that Natalie will nominate Corey and Nicole. Michelle said she hasn’t talked to her yet but she is pretty sure that she will make that move. Victor asked Michelle to bring that up to Natalie again. Michelle pointed out that Nicole is being so nice to Natalie all of a sudden. Victor said Natalie could take a shot at him. Michelle said she wont do that since she really wants to make it to five together. Victor said he wants that too but he worries that Natalie and James have a deal with Corey and Nicole to take the three of them out. Victor said he will protect James, Natalie and Michelle until Corey and Nicole are out. Michelle agreed. She said that she will never go back to that side. Victor said he just hopes everything goes smoothly tomorrow. Michelle said if anything, she thinks Natalie would be the one telling James that Corey and Nicole need to go.
4:00-5:00 AM: After the HoH room reveal, James told Natalie he would really appreciate it if he didn’t put her up. Natalie laughed. Natalie asked James and Nicole what they think about Paul. Nicole asked if the four of them are working together moving forward. James and Natalie both said they feel like they should. Nicole said the four of them should work together moving forward. Nicole said she would not nominate James and Natalie and she is not a threat to their games. She explained that she would be 100% down with going to the Final 4. Nicole told Natalie she already thinks that she is working with her and hopes that it is a four deal. Nicole said she will have their backs the entire time and Natalie would have her, Corey and James fighting for her next week when she cannot play. Nicole told them that she can offer keeping them safe until Final 4. Nicole said she is a loyal and genuine person, so she will not break her word.
5:00-6:00 AM: James told Natalie that for sure she is going to piss people off. He told her she needs to decide which side she wants to roll with. Natalie said she made a promise to James, Victor and Paul about getting Paulie out. She said Nicole came to her today, really wanting to work with them. She pointed out that they never asked to work with her before but it was kind of obvious since James was working with Corey. Natalie thinks that Nicole keep a promise when she makes it. James agreed, saying she is an emotional player. James said Victor would keep the promise but he is connected to Paul. Natalie said she doesn’t know what to believe with regards to Paul. James agreed. After a chat with Corey, Natalie asked James what she should do. James told her to do whatever is right for her game. James told Natalie that if you don’t swing at Victor and Paul now and you take Corey or Nicole out, he and Nicole are playing to protect her against Paul, Victor and maybe Michelle. Natalie said she is not nominating or targeting a girl. She then said she can ask Michelle to be her pawn if Paul or Victor win the veto. Natalie said she will take out either Paul or Victor but her target is Paul. James suggested pulling Victor aside tomorrow to let him know what is going on. Natalie said she will explain to him that he is not the target after the care package is delivered. James said Corey had a valid point that they both have better odds of beating him and Nicole in Final 4. Natalie said she really wanted Corey out for a long time but she has to look at it from a game perspective and see that Victor will win the $500,000 like Paulie would have.
6:00-7:00 AM: Natalie told James she is leaning towards putting Paul up. Natalie asked what James would do if he were the HoH right now. James said he would nominate Paul and Victor because it is strategically the right thing to do. Natalie asked how she knows that Corey and Nicole will not come after her when they don’t like her very much. James said they gave their word that they will not come after them next week, which she thinks they will stick to. Natalie said she has a gut feeling that there is something weird going on with Paul. James said he has that feeling too and thinks Paul is playing Big Brother. James said he thinks that Paul’s hands aren’t clean. Natalie said Paul is a good liar and there are too many red flags in her head about Paul. James said he thinks Paul has a feeling that he is going to go up. Natalie said the care package will help her make her decision. She figures that Corey will get it tomorrow. Natalie said if someone gets a veto, she is putting that person up. James said Paul would have nominated Corey and Nicole but that is not what’s best for everyone’s game. If they picked off Corey and Nicole, Natalie said Paul and Victor would win at Final 5 and put the two of them up to break them up. Natalie said she knows she can beat Nicole in certain things. James said he knows that he can beat Corey. Natalie called Paul and Victor a powerhouse and the most threatening couple in the house.
