Big Brother 18 Day 70
August 23, 2016
3:00-4:00 PM: Corey asked Nicole what’s wrong. She said she feels bad because she must have called Paul a manipulator but she doesn’t remember it. Nicole said she wants to cry and leave. She asked what if she can’t get a job after this. Corey asked if she is serious and if she is for real right now. Corey said nothing you say in there will prevent you from getting a job. Nicole said you have to be really careful because anything you say or do can be held against you. Nicole said she was scared to come back for that reason. She told Corey that she feels so guilty. Corey said nobody cares. Nicole said she really doesn’t remember calling him a manipulator. Corey said he feels like he said it but he doesn’t care. Corey explained that he meant it in a good way. Nicole said like he is good. Corey agreed. Nicole said Corey made her feel better. Corey told her that nobody would ever not hire you for lying on a show that you are meant to manipulate and lie on.
4:00-5:00 PM: Nicole told James that she has slipped up a couple of times, talking about Corey being there next week in front of Victor. James said he thinks that Victor knows anyway. Nicole agreed. James said it is best for everyone’s game that he is gone. James told Nicole that Paul looks defeated because he knows that Victor is going home. Nicole asked if James knew about Paul’s game before last week. James said Paul has been playing all sides of the house and he has been on to him. Nicole said Paul is good. She told James that the fact that he lies about french fries makes her nervous since he can lie so easily. Nicole said Paul lied by saying he didn’t know that Corey and Paulie were going up even though Victor said Paul told him to do it. Nicole said lying is part of the game but she thinks that Paul is good. James said he thought Paul was going to get voted out week one but he has made it all the way here. Nicole brought up that Paul got upset he was running the house and then was on the block 26 hours later. James told Nicole that he doesn’t have a problem giving HoH to her or to Corey once Paul is out of the competition. Nicole said she would never put James up no matter what, even if she heard he wanted to cut her arm off and shave her eyebrows. Nicole explained that it is not strategically smart for her to do that. James said he has never told anyone that he is gunning for her or for Corey.
5:00-6:00 PM: James asked Paul if he has been feeling okay. He still had not gotten out of bed. James said Paul sounds like he is bummed. Paul said it was a stressful week and the rude comments are not cool. Paul explained that he is trying to let it go and not think about it, since it is not worth having that conversation with just 28 days to go. Paul brought up the atheist comment that Michelle made about him. He said he comes from a Christian family and he doesn’t want them to hear that. Paul told James that he will keep quiet, mind his own business and hope that she will stop making comments towards him. James said it’s so crazy that they have only got 28 days left after Thursday. Paul said it’s surreal since it came and went so fast. He told James that he is trying to embrace the final days. James said whatever happens is predetermined and you can’t fight fate. Paul pointed out that once you get down to five you have pretty much lost if you lose competitions. James said you can go a long way as long as the rest of the house wants to take you with them. They agreed that since they are guys, nobody wants to take them anywhere.
6:00-7:00 PM: Nicole spoke to Corey about how she hopes that their pitch was portrayed as wanting Paul and Victor on the block because they are good. She said it is nothing personal but they are the biggest threat in the game. Nicole let Corey know that Natalie told her Paul claims that Corey said something really mean about James and Natalie. Corey said he knows that he definitely did not say anything mean about James and Natalie. Nicole asked Corey not to bring it up to Natalie because then she would know that she told him. Nicole said she defended Corey and said he would not say something like that. She told Corey that she gives him the angel halo compared to her. She said that she will be the schemer and the snake. In the safari room, Victor told Paul that he is not going to talk game today. He said that he will pick up the game talk again tomorrow. Victor believes that there isn’t much left to say at this point. Paul told him to reiterate that he stuck to his word. Victor said he will do that tomorrow. Paul suggested making sure that Michelle and Natalie are in the room when Paul speaks to James.
7:00-8:00 PM: Victor asked Paul if he thinks that Natalie really likes James. Paul thinks that Natalie is just using James for game purposes but James does not realize it. Paul said they can let James find that out on his own. Victor said he would never say anything because he doesn’t want to assume anything. He feels that it’s a good strategy if Natalie is indeed using James. Paul said Natalie is using James because she is always hot and cold with James, luring him in to do whatever she wants. Paul talked about how he will have to work with Corey and Nicole if Victor leaves. Victor thinks that would be the best option for Paul as well. Paul said he can go to Corey and tell him that one of them will be getting the care package and they can use that to their advantage. Victor reminded Paul that Nicole could say she is working with him but be going back to James with everything. Victor suggested nominating James and Natalie together. He bought up that it would be crazy if he walks back in if he ends up being evicted. Paul figured that there may be a reset week if anything, seeing as he doesn’t think that the other jurors would be brought back at this point. Paul said he will not be working with James and Natalie anymore. Victor said they are too sketchy. Paul told Victor that he would want Michelle and Nicole in the end with him if Victor goes. Victor thinks that James is the only one who could give Paul trouble in the Final 2. Paul said he can take a shot at James and Natalie, leaving one of them on their own, then go from there. Paul said if Michelle was smart, she would have nominated James or at least told Natalie that she will nominate James if she nominates Paul or Victor instead of going after Corey and Nicole.
9:00-10:00 PM: While in the kitchen, Natalie put lotion on James and Paul while they weren’t looking. She then ran up to the HoH room and looked the door. James picked the lock and squirted lotion all over her. Michelle told Natalie that she hopes James tells Victor that he is leaving tomorrow. She said that she doesn’t want to blindside him. Michelle thinks that the worst case scenario for next week would be Corey or Nicole winning HoH and Paul receiving the care package. Natalie said James needs to win HoH. Nicole joined them and the girls discussed starting a prank war. Natalie and Nicole planned to throw an egg at the guys. Natalie headed towards the bedroom with the egg but Big Brother told her to stop that. That led to Natalie questioning James about whether or not he is the saboteur since he doesn’t get in trouble for any of his pranks but Big Brother always puts a stop to hers. James denied being the saboteur but also played along and said that he cannot confirm nor deny it when she continued to ask. The pranks continued when Nicole dumped powder on Corey while he showered. After he had cleaned himself back up, James dumped flour on him multiple times. Nicole then threw coffee grounds in the shower, making a mess of the bathroom that Victor had cleaned a day earlier.
10:00-11:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Michelle told Natalie that Paul would probably nominate Corey and Nicole. Even if he nominates Corey and James, Michelle pointed out that she and Natalie would control the vote. Michelle said she is scared that Paul will end up slipping through the cracks. Natalie said that Paul should have been the one going this week. They discussed Paul’s personal life. Natalie said his neighbours are celebrities and she feels like he lives in a mansion. Michelle said Paul has gotten what he wants his whole life. Natalie pointed out that he travels the world. Michelle said he probably uses his parents credit card. Both agreed that they hope someone deserving of the money wins the game. Michelle said she doesn’t think that Paul is deserving.
11:00-12:00 AM: James told Michelle and Natalie that he thinks Victor still has hope since he has yet to tell him which way he is voting. Michelle mentioned that Paul has been getting closer to Corey and Nicole of late. James said he has moved on and he is now trying to position himself better for next week in the event that Victor leaves. James told the girls that he knows Corey and Nicole will not choose Paul over him. While James expects that Paul would nominate him next to Corey, Michelle was concerned that two of them could end up on the block together. Natalie told James that he has to win HoH this week. James thought that they could try to get in Paul’s head in order to make him believe that he wont get the care package if he wins HoH. Michelle said the worst case scenario would be Corey winning HoH and Paul getting the care package, because Corey would then have to nominate two of them together. James said he thinks that Natalie would be evicted over Michelle due her ties with him. Michelle suggested targeting Nicole if they cannot get Paul out. She explained that it would leave Corey in the game and he has a better shot at winning HoH to take Paul out for them.
4:00-5:00 AM: Michelle said she feels bad about Victor. Natalie said she does too. She said it hurts her heart. Natalie reminded Michelle that if they want Corey to go over Victor, they can make that happen. Michelle said she knows. Michelle said it’s scary that Paul is trying to get close to Nicole and Corey. Natalie called Paul a master manipulator. Both of the girls said that Paul will not be getting their jury vote if he makes it to the end. They talked about how Paul knew that Da’Vonne was going to leave. Michelle said she wants to call him out so bad if he doesn’t win HoH. Natalie told her not to bother since everyone is on to him anyway. Michelle said she feels like Paul might convince Corey and Nicole to take her out next. Natalie said it wont happen because they have wanted Paul out for a long time.
