Big Brother 18 Day 72 - Victor returns; Nicole is the new HoH

August 25, 2016

1:00-2:00 PM: Natalie told James that Corey, Nicole and Paul are like BFFs in the kitchen right now. She said Paul will be putting them up. She told James that she feels like Corey should go. James said he doesn’t know if Victor would put Paul up, cause things change even if he feels that way in the moment. Natalie said Victor will nominate Paul next to Corey or Nicole. Natalie explained that she or James will go home if Paul wins HoH. James said Michelle could go, though Natalie told him that people will want to split the two of them up. James said Natalie is making the assumption that Corey and Nicole are 100% working with Paul. Natalie said she has yet to work with Corey and Nicole in this game. James said he has worked with them since Day 1. Natalie told James that they were throwing his name around as a backdoor option. Natalie said they will be the outsiders if Corey stays. James told Natalie that Paul is going to Corey and Nicole, not the other way around. Natalie asked if James really trusts Corey and Nicole. James said he does. James mentioned that taking Victor out would open up a spot in the Final 2 since Victor would be sitting in one of those seats. Natalie told James that she trusts his judgment. James said Corey and Nicole, especially Nicole, are a lot more on his side than they are on Paul’s side. James pointed out that Nicole will get pissed off the more they question her. He told Natalie that they have an unspoken thing and know the deal. James said those two want a battle of the showmances in the Final 4 because it has never happened before. Natalie said that’s true. Victor then spoke to James, telling him that Corey and Nicole relayed to Paul that James had spoken to them and he was paranoid. James said he wasn’t paranoid about anything, so he is trying to figure out which conversation they are talking about. Victor said it could be nothing but he thought that he should relay the information anyway. Victor asked if James still has no idea what he is going to do. James said it’s 50/50 right now. James said he is wondering why Paul would tell Victor what he did. Victor said he can say with 100% certainty that Corey, Nicole and Paul are working together. Victor said Corey and Nicole would not deny Paul’s help and they obviously wouldn’t tell him about working with Paul.

2:00-3:00 PM: James questioned Nicole about Victor and Paul’s claim. Nicole said those two are trying to get Victor to stay. She denied having said anything like that. She said it is 100% false. James said he wants to call Paul out. Nicole told him to do what is best for his game. Nicole let James know that she is sick of them acting as though she and Corey are being sketchy. Nicole told James to vote Corey out if he doesn’t trust them. Nicole said she wouldn’t be surprised if Paul and Victor are in on this plan together, making it seem as though they are not friends. Nicole added that Paul has told her things about James but she doesn’t question him, so this is hurting her feelings. James then headed to the kitchen and confronted Paul in front of Corey and Michelle. Paul denied having said that Corey said anything. Paul admitted that he said James is being paranoid. Paul brought up that he had James’ back but they have been acting weird towards him this week. Michelle chimed in about how the biggest liar and manipulator in the house totally had James’ back. Paul said he is pretty sure that he is not talking to Michelle. He told Michelle to mind her own business. Michelle told Paul not to touch her clothes. She revealed that she knows he is mad at her for telling him that. Paul went on to say that Michelle is a bully and talks down to people. He said she is a terrible person. Paul continued his talk with James, telling him that he didn’t have a problem with him until this week. Natalie told Paul that James had nothing to do with the nominations. James brought up how Paul left Victor’s side as soon as he won the veto. Paul argued that everyone’s attitude towards him changed. Paul explained that their paranoia is setting in to make them feel as though he turned on Victor. Natalie and Paul went back and forth with regards to whether or not James influenced her nominations and also with regards to whether or not Natalie was behind Michelle’s nomination of Paul. Paul brought up that Michelle said she felt as though Natalie had forced her to nominate him. Natalie insisted that she did not force her. Paul questioned why James and Natalie say they play their own games when they make decisions together. As one example of how they do not do that, James said Natalie really wants Victor to stay this week. Paul said he concluded that Natalie wanted him to go this week. Natalie simply said that she put Victor, not Paul, up. Paul asked Natalie to look him in the face and say that she didn’t want him gone this week. Natalie didn’t do it. Natalie told Paul to put two and two together since he is so intelligent. Natalie said Paul is a huge target in the house. Paul told her that was not his question. They both talked about how they hurt each other’s feelings. Natalie brought up the comment Paul claimed Corey made about her sucking James to the top. Corey denied having said that. In front of everyone, Paul asked Victor about feeling neglected by him. Victor said he feels that way because Paul just left him and jumped ship on him. Paul asked what more he was supposed to do. James told Paul he at least could have hung out with Victor. Victor said he expected that Paul would have campaigned for him but instead he just jumped ship. Paul told James that he feels as though James, Michelle and Natalie have been treating him differently and are paranoid. Paul said his best option will be to work with people who have not lied to him if Victor goes. Specifically, he mentioned Corey and Nicole. Victor told Paul that he cannot trust him now. Paul said he is a lone wolf then and hopefully America sends him a care package. Paul told Victor that he can take a swing or not. Victor said he will be taking a swing and he will tell Paul straight to his face. Victor then left the room.

3:00-4:00 PM: Nicole spoke to Corey about how James said Natalie wants Victor to stay. Corey said he is probably going home. Nicole asked if he was being serious. She said no. Nicole told Corey that James and Natalie are so freaked out and they are trying so hard to mend relationships, which shows so much. Nicole thinks that James and Natalie do not trust them, but James’ heart is what will keep Corey in the game. Nicole let Corey know that this showed her that Paul has her back and James and Natalie don’t. James, Natalie, Michelle and Victor met up in the safari room. Natalie said Corey needs to go. She pointed out that Corey and Nicole weren’t defending or anything, opting to hide instead. James brought up that Nicole had blown up on him earlier and said to vote Corey out if he doesn’t trust them. Michelle said Corey needs to go. She said Nicole will be devastated. Natalie worried that Paul would vote against Victor. She told Victor to go mend things with Paul. After Victor left, Natalie told James that he has to vote Corey out. James said he has to make sure that Paul is not voting Victor out and also that this is not all a ploy by Paul and Victor. Natalie said Victor cannot do that sort of thing. Michelle agreed. Both Michelle and Natalie told James that their gut is telling them that Corey has to go. Natalie said Corey and Nicole don’t open up with them but Victor does. Victor returned and told the group that Paul said he is the only thing he has got in this game, so he is not voting him out. Natalie said she is still worried about Paul. She told Victor to go hang out with him. James brought up that Corey and Nicole don’t tell them much, but they try to collect information. In the bedroom, Victor told Paul that they are nervous about his vote. Paul said they will win the game if they can pull this off. He discussed throwing James and Natalie on the block together. Meanwhile, Michelle told James that they have already proven they can take Victor out. She said keeping Corey would be guaranteeing Nicole a spot in the Final 2. James admitted that he doesn’t like how sketchy Corey and Nicole have been acting. Natalie and Michelle stressed to James that Corey has to go. Just prior to feeds went down, Victor returned to tell them that Paul said he would be stupid to vote him out.

6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live show, Victor was evicted by a vote of 2-1. Julie informed him that he has another chance to return to the game. Julie then told the houseguests. Everyone competed together in a wall competition to determine who returns and who becomes the new HoH.

7:00-8:00 PM: 17 minutes in, Da’Vonne and Zakiyah jumped off of the wall together. Michelle asked if anyone knows what just happened. Paul said he is very confused. Some people wondered if it was planned. Bridgette said that it was not. After 25 minutes, Corey was eliminated from the competition. At the 33 minute mark, Bridgette dropped out of the competition, followed by Paulie (48 minutes). Victor was the last juror standing and is back in the game. Victor then dropped out at the 50 minute mark, leaving only James, Nicole and Paul standing.

8:00-9:00 PM: After 1 hour and 35 minutes, Paul dropped out of the competition. James and Nicole began to discuss a deal. James said he wants to be off of slop and he wants to win his fourth wall comp. Nicole said she wants a letter from her family. Both agreed that they would not put each other up. Nicole told James that he can even choose her nominations for her. James said he doesn’t want to take her HoH away from her. Nicole continued to ask James if there is anything that she can offer him to let her have the HoH. James insisted that he just wants to win a fourth wall comp. After 2 hours and 3 minutes, James gave in and struck a deal. Nicole agreed that she would not nominate James or Natalie. James then stepped off, meaning that Nicole is the new HoH.

9:00-10:00 PM: Corey asked Nicole what deal she made. Nicole said the deal was that James and Natalie are safe. Nicole told Corey that she will not nominate Paul. She said that she should have just won it and not made a deal, since it will be hard for her to ever go back on her word. Nicole told Corey that she wants Michelle or Victor to go this week. In the bedroom, James was frustrated about how people keep returning to the game. He questioned how many chances they are going to get. James mentioned that if they can get Paul out this week, then Victor is likely to take a shot at Corey and Nicole. The two agreed that Corey and Nicole can be trusted not to put them up this week. James said he didn’t want to have to nominate Paul and Victor again, which is part of the reason why he took the deal. Natalie said Victor trusts her and now realizes what a scumbag Paul is.

10:00-11:00 PM: Victor asked America to hook him up with a care package. Paul said to give it to him instead since he is public enemy number one. Victor mentioned that he never thought in his life that he would play this game, yet he has now came back twice. Paul told Victor that going through the mourning process and then having him come back is messing with his emotions. Nicole joined them. Paul asked Victor if Corey and Nicole are safe if he gets the care package. Victor said yes. Nicole told Victor that the only thing she worries about when it comes to him is that he told Corey he was safe but put him up. Victor blamed it on Corey being attached to Paulie. Victor clarified that Corey was not the target at all. Nicole asked if Victor would have let Corey keep the veto. Victor said he would have. Paul and Victor headed to the safari room to campaign for the care package. Paul told America that they are getting boned every week. Victor asked for help. The two explained that they are back together now that Victor has returned, even though James, Michelle and Natalie believe that they are keeping it civil just to keep it civil.

11:00-12:00 AM: Paul said he expects that Michelle and Natalie will tell the live feeders not to give the care package to him or to Victor. Paul explained that Natalie likes to play the victim all the time. As for Michelle, Paul said that she is the worst person in the world. Paul admitted that he isn’t sure that he fully trusts Corey and Nicole, but they know the odds are in his favour and Victor’s favour to get the care package, so they want to work together for now. Paul said James and Natalie need to be split up, so that is what he will be trying to do if he gets the care package. He pointed out that James and Natalie control Michelle, giving them three votes. Paul said they are not going after Corey or Nicole because it is not in their best interest right now. Paul promised to give the viewers entertaining TV if he gets the care package. Victor joined Paul. He told Paul that Da’Vonne told him to get James out. He mentioned that Paulie wanted that as well. Paul told Victor that he has to tell Nicole and Corey about that. Not long after, Victor relayed the information to Corey and Nicole. Paul and Victor told them that all of the jury members cross referenced and realized that they want James out. Corey and Nicole said it would make sense that the jurors would feel that way. Nicole informed Paul that the others think he is her target this week and she is playing that up. Paul said that’s amazing. Paul said his target is James and then they can decide between Michelle and Natalie for next week.

2:00-3:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Paul spoke to Corey and Nicole. Nicole asked how Paul feels about Michelle going this week. Paul said he would love to see it but it does not make sense strategically. Paul explained that James is the strongest player hands down and it would be best for James to go. Nicole said Michelle will win the mental competitions. Paul questioned when she has won anything. Nicole said she knows but it’s tough because Michelle wants her out. Nicole asked Paul if he would promise not to put her or Corey up on double eviction night if she keeps them safe. Paul asked when he has done anything shady to them in this game. Corey and Nicole said no. Victor joined them. Paul said they are not their to ruin Corey’s game and Nicole’s game. Paul explained that they are willing to make a deal and take the shot at the other side. Nicole said she is worried that they will go back to the other side. Victor said their plan was to win HoH and go after James and Natalie for putting them up when they were supposed to be working together. Victor brought up how James and Natalie claim not to be playing the same game, yet Natalie promised to get him James’ vote last week and then tonight promised that James would not put him up. Victor said Natalie told that to him while James was still up on the wall. Paul revealed that James, Natalie, Michelle and Bridgette pulled them into a room and said Corey, Nicole and Paulie had a three person alliance. Nicole again brought up being concerned about Paul and Victor going back to that side. Paul said he can’t stand Michelle. Victor mentioned that James voted him out. Paul explained that he is done with people when they burn a bridge with him. Nicole said it’s not that she doesn’t trust them but she doesn’t want to get burned like they got burned. Paul said James, Natalie and Michelle are three votes that will be together at all times. Victor pointed out that James has already bounced checks in the house, so he cannot think that he is immune from having the same done to him. Paul said he would like to take Michelle out from an emotional point of view. Paul brought up how James tries to play the good guy in order to get jury votes in the end, telling people when they are going home even when he played a big part in getting them out. Paul said he would like to put emotions aside since Michelle will not win a competition. Victor asked if they can protect each other to the Final 4 for real. He said he wants a group that he can trust in. Nicole said that’s how she feels. Corey said he has been wanting to work together since the first week. Paul said they should legitimately be unstoppable if they work together. Victor said he told Paul to get close with and work with Corey and Nicole this past week. Paul said he was convinced that Victor was going, so it was legitimate. Victor explained that they had planned to work with Nicole even if Corey were to leave tonight. Victor said it’s so good that they finally have a solid Final 4. Paul gave his word to Nicole that he will take the shot at James and Natalie if the care package gives him the opportunity to.

3:00-4:00 AM: After Paul and Victor left the room, Nicole asked Corey what he is thinking. Corey said that right there was his plan. She asked if he was referring to hooking up with Paul and Victor. Corey said yeah but clarified that he would like to avoid sending James home. Corey explained that he has plenty of points to justify Nicole going back on her word. He mentioned that James lied to people’s faces when putting them on the block, he went against what they wanted by sending Zakiyah home and Paulie home, he put them against Paul and Victor, and he has been playing both sides just like Paulie was. Nicole said her morals are kicking in and this is going to be very hard for her to do. Corey questioned what Paul and Victor have done to them. He mentioned that he would rather get to the end with strong people than potentially not make it to the end at all. Nicole said they will 100% be on their side. Nicole said she doesn’t trust James and Natalie moving forward. She said James almost did not vote to keep Corey. Corey said he saw that in James’ eyes. Nicole talked about nominating Michelle instead. Corey told Nicole that they have to put up their two best in James and Natalie. Nicole said she doesn’t want to put Natalie up. She let Corey know that she would prefer to put James and Michelle up. Corey asked if Nicole definitely wants to get Michelle out. Nicole said that can be an excuse but she is good with getting James out. Nicole immediately said she wants to send Michelle packing. she explained wanting to keep James and Paul in the game to go after each other. Nicole said she would like to keep the Final 4 with Paul and Victor strong while still keeping her word to James and Natalie. Nicole said she wants Michelle gone because Michelle wants her out. Nicole admitted to being afraid of Michelle in mental comps, but she thinks that she could beat both James and Natalie in them. Nicole talked about having to get Paul and Victor on board with targeting Michelle, because she knows that Paul really wants Michelle to stay.
