Big Brother 18 Day 83 - Corey decides not to use the Power of Veto

September 5, 2016

11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Corey decided not to use the Power of Veto. Either James or Natalie will be evicted on Thursday. Natalie told James that they made a really dumb game move trusting Corey and Nicole. Outside, Paul told Nicole that he could see Natalie going after Nicole so that she can be the last girl and in hope of having one of the guys taking her to the end. As for James, Paul said he would likely go after two of the guys. Paul let Nicole know that he had a chat with James last night in hope of finding out why he was put on the block. Paul said Natalie was claiming that James told her he was going after him, so he wanted to ask James if he said that. Paul said James told him that Nicole is the one who told him that Paul was targeting him. Nicole denied it. She questioned why she would say that. Nicole said it doesn’t even make any sense for her to do that. Paul told her not to worry because he is only telling her this so she knows about all of the conversations he is having.

12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole asked Corey who he thinks they need to get out this week. Corey said Natalie, which Nicole agreed with. Nicole mentioned that Paul thinks James would nominate him next to Victor. Corey said that’s why they need to get Natalie out. Nicole said they cannot let Paul and Victor think that it’s a selfish move to keep James. Nicole told Corey that even though they control the votes, she is going to do what Paul and Victor want. Corey didn’t agree with that. Nicole told Corey that he cannot tell her what to do. Corey asked if she is kidding. Nicole asked if Corey thinks that she needs to vote Natalie out no matter what. Corey said yeah. Nicole said that’s fine then, but she doesn’t think it’s the best move if Paul and Victor are not okay with it. She pointed out that those two kept them safe this week. Corey argued that they kept Paul and Victor safe last week and several weeks before that. Nicole said that’s true.

1:00-2:00 PM: Nicole talked to Natalie about how this will be a hard season for her to watch. Nicole said Big Brother 16 was hard for her to watch, so she can’t even imagine this season. Nicole mentioned that personal stuff does not usually play a part in the game, yet this season it seems as though everyone is playing personally or emotionally. Nicole claimed that she has yet to make a personal or emotional move. Nicole pointed to the night in which Bridgette left over Natalie as an example of her not playing personally. Paul told Nicole that Natalie is going to try to get Nicole to have a distaste for him. Paul said the best move for them this week is to convince James that he is going, then they will blindside Natalie. Nicole said Natalie thinks that she is staying. Nicole said it’s hard for her to have sympathy for Natalie. Paul said it’s all fake and that Natalie wants Nicole to feel bad for her so that she can get to Corey through Nicole. Paul explained that Natalie cannot connect with the men on that level, because she knows that she will not get sympathy from any of them. Paul suggested that they could slowly start letting James know things about Natalie, hoping to lower his chances of doing well in the competition. Victor said they should do the opposite by making James miss Natalie when she is gone. Nicole told them that they should just send one home this week and then win next week. Elsewhere, Natalie told James that she will be happy if he stays but she wants to know ahead of time. Natalie expects that they will not be told which of them is leaving. James agreed. The two talked about how at least they got to meet each other. Natalie said James will be an important part of her life forever.

2:00-3:00 PM: Natalie told James that winning half a million dollars is not worth ruining her friendship with him. She said that she can work after the show to make money, because she is not going to go against James and lose his friendship over it. Natalie said it’s like there are two of her on the block right now. James assured Natalie that she would not lose him as a friend if she were to campaign against him. Natalie said it hasn’t even crossed her mind to do that. James elaborated on that by saying he really knows how to separate game from personal. Natalie understood but told him that he is her ride or die. Natalie said she is very content with everything, considering she made it this far without knowing one thing about the game when it started. Outside, Nicole said Natalie’s jaw is going to hit the floor when she is evicted. Paul said he is just going to look at her face because he wants to see her reaction. Nicole said it’s crazy that Natalie does not think that she is going.

5:00-6:00 PM: James told Victor that he and Natalie are arguing again. James said it happens all the time. He said he hopes that he is not getting played by Natalie. Victor said he would be thinking the same thing if he were James. James said it hurts. Victor headed inside. He told Corey and Nicole that James and Natalie are arguing and James doesn’t want to look dumb on TV. Nicole said that’s his call, cause he doesn’t listen to them anyway. James told Natalie that people can tell there is tension between them. Natalie said there is no tension on her end. James said he feels like she is being distant. Natalie said they are on the block together and it doesn’t feel good. Natalie told James that they should have fun for their last few days. James said he can tell that something is up. Natalie insisted that there is nothing wrong. Natalie eventually said she didn’t like that James told her to be positive and said it will be a long couple of days when she got upset about being called out about her microphone multiple times. Natalie told James that he could have approached it in a different way. James agreed. Natalie said he should be talking nicely to her instead of bashing her for getting upset over her microphone. Natalie explained that she likes to keep to herself in order to get over things. Natalie said she is done talking about it. She let James know that she doesn’t want to be arguing and fighting on TV and on the live feeds. James said you need to talk these types of things over when you are in a relationship, though he is not saying that they are fully in one. James mentioned she might get back home and decide not to talk to him anymore. Natalie questioned why he would say that. James pointed out that she is distant in the Big Brother house when he has had her back the whole game and is getting hurt. James said he has been pretty good to her this season, yet this happens when she slips up. Natalie said it hurts when it comes from James, otherwise it wouldn’t have bothered her. James said the same goes for her. Natalie apologized. Natalie said she feels like she is in a nightmare, constantly arguing. She headed inside. James asked himself why he got into a showmance.

7:00-8:00 PM: James told Natalie that he should have been more supportive earlier and backed off. Natalie said she is going to miss James. She let him know that she cares about him so much no matter what happens. Natalie told James that she feels like a loser. James pointed out that she outlasted superfans and Frank The Tank. James said he was content with going home but he told her he thinks that something might have changed based on what Corey said to him. Natalie brought up that she campaigned for James. James said he campaigned for her too, telling Corey to vote him out. Natalie said she wants James to stay but she might have hurt her own chances by talking to Paul and Victor. Natalie said she is sad and feels like she is leaving. James said it’s up to the house even though they both campaign for each other. Natalie told James that she regrets not sticking to her guns and making her own decision. James pointed out that she is taking this really hard. James reminded Natalie that Paul and Victor are the same people that were calling her “FTs”. He added that he is pretty sure Paul is the one who came up with it too. James said he hates seeing Natalie beat herself up over this. Natalie thought that she could have trusted Paul anyway. James told her that Corey and Nicole didn’t put them up, but Natalie argued that those two set them up.

8:00-9:00 PM: Natalie told James she feels like Corey told him something. James asked why she feels that way. Natalie said she doesn’t know but she feels like he knows something. James said those are some serious accusations. Natalie said she is not making any. James explained that Corey told him one thing and he told her about it right away. Natalie said she will be leaving without a single vote, which sucks.

9:00-10:00 PM: James told Corey that Natalie is pissed off at him 24/7. He said Natalie thinks that she is going home, but he doesn’t know why. Corey asked why Natalie would be mad at James. James said because it’s his fault. Corey said that is the dumbest thing that he has ever heard. James mentioned Natalie saying that she betrayed two people in the house. Corey asked who she betrayed. James said Paul and Victor.

10:00-11:00 PM: Corey told Nicole that they need to reel James in 100%. Corey said James feels bad for not voting him out. Corey pointed out that Paulie would have returned had James voted him out, then Nicole still would have won HoH and Natalie would have been voted out over Michelle. Corey said Natalie is blaming James for being the reason she is going, but James’ decision kept her in the house a week longer. Nicole said James’ head is no longer in the game. She thinks that a guy needs to talk to James to get through to him. Nicole said James would be nuts to nominate them, though she is surprised that Paul and Victor want to keep him. Nicole said James is only feeling guilty because he likes Natalie so much, because he should have felt guilty about breaking her heart when he threw her, Corey and Paulie to the wolves when he voted Zakiyah out. Nicole told Corey that it’s hard to watch James try to sacrifice himself when he is the much better player. Nicole worried that James would nominate them because that is what Natalie would want. Nicole said James would not get her jury vote if he were to do that. Nicole headed up to the HoH room. Paul said he is pretty sure Natalie thinks she is staying. Nicole and Victor agreed. Victor said things are working out perfectly. Nicole said Natalie is going to crap herself when the vote is revealed. After Nicole left, Paul talked about how ideally Nicole would win HoH and then they only have to beat Corey the following week. Victor said Paul should go for the win and then they can worry about the following week when they get there. Paul then said he would try to win.

11:00-12:00 AM: Nicole told Corey that she would like it to be the two of them and James at the end. Corey nodded. Nicole said James would take Corey over her but that’s fine, because they are her two favourite boys. Corey said she doesn’t know that. Nicole said she would have a better shot against James than Corey. Nicole asked if Corey would be mad if she didn’t take him. Corey said she would never talk to her again. Corey told Nicole that she could beat him. Nicole disagreed. Corey said she would have all of the votes from the girls. Nicole said those are the votes that she does not have, so she would be banking on getting the votes from the guys. Nicole said she is not dumb and she knows that she cannot beat him. Nicole said that taking Corey to the end would mean that she is handing him $500,000. Nicole said people would be crazy not to take her to the Final 3. Corey said she will be there 100%. Nicole said not to jinx her but it would be crazy not to take her since she wont have the jury votes. Corey said he will be the next to go or else James will. Nicole said she wants Natalie gone so that she can be the girl that everyone wants to drag along that sucks, then she wins the final HoH competition.
