Big Brother 18 Day 86 - Corey wins HoH
September 8, 2016
3:00-4:00 PM: James spoke to Natalie about throwing tonight’s HoH competition. She asked why he would do that. James wanted to be able to compete next week and figured that the two sides would go after each other this week. James told Natalie that he doesn’t think he is a threat to them anymore. James pointed out that someone from the four will need to go on the block even if he doesn’t win. Natalie said they have the numbers to save each other. James thought that Paul would nominate Corey and Nicole. Natalie said that wont happen. She told him that Paul will nominate him. James said he could see Paul trying to use him as a vote or as the backdoor option, but not an initial nominee. Natalie asked if he really thinks that those four best friends out there will go against each other. James thought that they would. James eventually told Natalie that he will win the HoH if he can. If he loses, he wasn’t sure which side he would prefer to have win. James said his argument to stay safe is that he can be used since he is on his own and doesn’t have anyone anymore.
6:00-7:00 PM: During the live eviction episode, Natalie was evicted by a unanimous vote of 3-0. The HoH competition got underway. It was the slip and slide style of competition in which the houseguests had to be the first to fill their container with liquid. There was a smaller container that the houseguests could fill up in order to get the ability to use a larger scoop.
7:00-8:00 PM: The HoH competition continued on the live feeds. Nicole worked on filling up the smaller container from the start. Paul went back and forth between the two. Nicole successfully filled up the small container in 37 minutes time. Meanwhile, Corey maintained a large lead throughout most of the competition.
8:00-9:00 PM: After 1 hour and 15 minutes, Corey won HoH. He was in the lead the entire time. Nicole finished in second, followed by James and Paul. While James and Corey were in the living room, Nicole said she will be livid if there is a guys alliance. Corey mentioned that Nicole expected that to be the case long ago. Nicole asked if there legitimately is a guys alliance. Corey said she will find out tomorrow. Not long after, he said he is kidding and there is not a guys alliance. Nicole said she will feel like such an idiot. Nicole asked why Corey said he was worried that she almost beat him if there is not a guys alliance. Corey explained that it was about bragging rights. In the bedroom, James told the live feeders that he feels like he just went through a breakup. He said his girl is gone. Paul joined him. James told Paul that Natalie was a sweet girl but she could not separate game from personal. Paul said he thinks Natalie took advantage of James’ kindness.
11:00-12:00 AM: After Corey got his HoH room, Nicole asked him what his excuse will be for nominating Paul and Victor. Corey said he can tell them that he does not want it to be two on two next week. Nicole mentioned it would be two on one in the HoH competition. Corey said their odds of getting to the Final 3 are better with James in the house. Corey also wanted to mention that Victor lied to him and took his best friend, Paulie, out of the house. Nicole suggested that Corey speak to James in order to be sure that he is not going to take Paul or Victor off the block. Nicole explained that James doing that would be for a reason and it would mean that she is going to be voted out if it happens. Corey didn’t think that James would do that, though Nicole said Natalie may have left him with an agenda to get them out. Nicole told Corey that she is going to crap herself when Paul and Victor’s faces pop up during the nomination ceremony. She said she is glad that Corey won HoH so that she didn’t have to be the one to make the move. Nicole said they will have a really good chance to win if Victor leaves. Corey agreed. Nicole wanted to talk to James in order to ensure that he is on board with them. Corey said it would be in James’ best interest to do so since either of them would take James to the Final 2 if the other one got picked off. Nicole said not to tell James that or else he will take one of them out. Nicole told Corey that people would be crazy to take him to the end because he would win 9-0. She said she still wants to take him.
12:00-1:00 AM: Nicole told Corey that Paul and Victor will run to James, telling him that they had a Final 4 deal. Nicole thought it would be best for Corey to tell James about it first. Corey said Paul and Victor are the ones who initiated it, so they had to say yes. Corey hoped that Paul and Victor would make deals with James so that he can use that as an excuse to go after them. Nicole said James could always lie and say that. Corey said they should tell James that Paul and Victor were freaking out after the bullhorn incident, thinking that they should send James home because they thought he really had a Final 2 deal with Nicole. Nicole brought up how she is scared for nominations. Corey said he lives for this and you cannot be scared. Corey told Nicole that he loves making big moves and this is the biggest one. Nicole asked Corey if he is sure that he wants to make this move. Corey said putting James up is not even this much of an option. Corey said he would feel worse about putting James up than Paul or Victor. Nicole said she wouldn’t because it’s the easy option even though she doesn’t want James to go. Corey asked Nicole if she wants him to nominate James and Victor. Corey said he will do it if Nicole gives him a reason to. She said it would be a way to not make everyone so mad. Corey asked if it would be the smart game move. Nicole said no. She told Corey that Paul and Victor have to go up but it’s just an uncomfortable situation. Corey asked Nicole if she wants to win $500,000. Nicole said yes, which is why she is getting rid of Corey the next chance that she gets. Nicole followed that up by saying that she will not get rid of Corey but she wont take him to the end. She said Corey is going probably going to take James anyway, then she will be voting for James to win. Corey said he would vote for James if Nicole takes him too. Nicole asked if Corey’s target is Victor. He confirmed that it is. Nicole said that’s a good choice.
1:00-2:00 AM: Nicole told Corey that there is a way to get Paul or Victor out without making this week uncomfortable. Corey asked if she is telling him to nominate James and Victor. Corey said he does not want to go up against Paul and Victor in the Final 4. He questioned why the would not take one of them out. Corey asked Nicole why they would not just go for it head on instead of beating around the bush and risking having Nicole or James leave. Corey said it’s weird to him that Nicole is even swaying. Nicole said it’s because she is scared of Paul. Nicole explained that James could secretly be working with Paul and Victor. Nicole wanted to talk to James. Corey said he believes that he is on the same page with James, so there is no need to talk. Corey told Nicole that he would not be able to live with himself if he were to put James up and then either James or Nicole left this week. Nicole said she doesn’t want James to leave or to go on the block, but she wants Corey to realize that James may not be on their side. James spoke to Corey and Nicole. Nicole asked him to please not use the veto if he wins it. James said 100% that he will not. James said Paul and Victor know that he is with Corey and Nicole, so they will not even ask him to use it. James told them that Victor said he is expecting to go up since James is alone and they likely will not swing at him. Nicole told James that Paul and Victor got sketched out about the two of them when the bullhorn incident happened, especially after Michelle had told them that James and Nicole had a Final 2 deal. Nicole let James know that they want to target Victor. She asked if he thinks that that is the best decision. James said 100%. They talked about sticking together to the Final 3.
