Big Brother 18 Day 89 - Nicole decides not to use the Power of Veto
September 11, 2016
11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Nicole decided not to use the Power of Veto. Paul and Victor remain nominated. Paul said he plans to make his speech funny. He asked Nicole if she is fine with him calling her a snake. Nicole said she wouldn’t be mad. James told Nicole she hurt his feelings by not hugging him when he went in for the hug and thanked her. Nicole said she didn’t even realize, because she was focused on calming the situation with Paul and Victor since they looked like they wanted to kill her the entire time. Nicole said those two were staring her down the whole time. Nicole told James he knows that he was not going up anyway. Nicole let Corey and James know that she would gladly lose $500,000 to them because they are two of the greatest guys that she has ever met. Nicole said she hopes that Corey or James win America’s Favorite and then the other one wins the game if she does not win it herself.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole made a comment about Paul being the smartest one in the house. Paul asked if she really thinks that. Nicole said she does. She said it’s a compliment and she is not meaning anything else by it. Paul said he will take it cause he loves it and it boosts his ego. Paul told Corey, Nicole and Victor that he thinks the four of them are the four smartest people in the house. Nicole said she isn’t that smart. She said she is book smart but doesn’t have common sense. Corey said he is street smart but he doesn’t care enough to be book smart. James joined them. Paul said he hopes that the eviction will be tonight. It will be tomorrow. James pointed out that the next one to go will only get a day or two in jury, then the person who goes next will meet everyone at the roundtable. After that, he said they get placed in hotels. James and Nicole discussed that Dr. Will led their roundtable discussions. Nicole said it was not easy to prove her point when talking to Dr. Will, so after that she decided not to talk. Paul asked how old Dr. Will is now. Nicole wasn’t sure but she said he hasn’t aged one bit and he still looks 25. She said Dr. Will reminds her of a vampire and he is the most vampirish human that she has ever seen. Corey and James went to play pool. Nicole joined them. James said she just comes by and interrupts guy time. Nicole mentioned that she is the only girl, so who else can she hang out with. James replied by saying that nobody said to evict all of the girls. He half jokingly said that it was Nicole’s plan all along to evict all of the girls.
1:00-2:00 PM: Nicole told James that he is even cooler in person than she thought he was. She said she loved him when she watched his season. Nicole said she can see exactly why James got America’s Favorite. Nicole called James a good person and said he has a heart of gold. She told him not to change. James said he wont change, not even to win the $500,000. Nicole then talked about how she is in a showmance with Corey but neither of them put their games on pause, because they are both gamers. They talked about how James’ game was on hold since he was checking up on Natalie and making sure that she was taken care of. Nicole said Natalie wasn’t really into gaming. Nicole asked how things ended between the two of them. James said they agreed that they would just be friends, though Natalie’s speech about the soulmate confused him. Nicole said she would think that she would be getting married to Corey if he said that about her.
2:00-3:00 PM: In the bedroom, Paul and Victor discussed the plan for their speeches. Paul said he is going to start things off with the speech that inspired him the most, Natalie’s. He said Victor is his soulmate. He then added that he came into this game not knowing anything. Paul plans to say to Nicole that she reminds him of an animal but he can’t quite put his finger on it. He will follow that up with “maybe it will slither into my mind later”. Victor said he will mention Corey is called the snake charmer and Nicole the snake, sarcastically adding that he doesn’t know why since it’s not like they have backstabbed anybody. For James, Paul plans to bring up how James keeps claiming that this isn’t his first rodeo. He then wants to say that he is sure it will be James’ last, since Natalie took him for a hell of a ride. Finally, for Corey, Paul wants to say Corey claims to be good at baseball but he hasn’t even hit first base with Nicole. Meanwhile, Corey, Nicole and James spoke outside. Nicole said everyone in jury is going to expect her to show up next. James disagreed, saying they will expect him now that Natalie was the last to go. Nicole thinks that the jury will be mad that Victor is gone. James said it will force them to vote for someone that they don’t like.
3:00-4:00 PM: Out in the backyard, Corey told Nicole he sees her as a teammate and like a showmance. James said she is one of the guys. Corey asked if Nicole will be jealous if he hangs out with James a lot after the show and not her. Nicole said no. She explained that she is expecting it and they live close together. Corey then asked if Nicole would be mad if he got asked back next season and got in another showmance. Nicole said it would suck to watch but it would depend on whether or not she still has feelings for him at that point. If she doesn’t, she said she would not care at all. Corey said he wouldn’t do that anyway.
7:00-8:00 PM: Paul asked James if he thinks that they will be voting Victor out, because that’s how Corey and Nicole are making it seem. James said he thinks so. Paul told James that Victor is expecting it as well. Paul told James they have two chances not to mess up next week. Even if they win one competition, Paul said they will have to win the other in order for it to mean anything.
8:00-9:00 PM: Paul and Nicole discussed the potential timeline of upcoming events. Seeing as the veto ceremony was held a day early, they agreed that the eviction is most likely tomorrow. It is. Paul figured that the HoH competition would be tomorrow, followed by the veto competition on Tuesday and the veto ceremony on Wednesday. Those three things are correct. Paul incorrectly guessed that the eviction would then be on Thursday. It will actually be on Wednesday after the live veto ceremony takes place.
11:00-12:00 AM: Nicole told Paul that Victor mentioned he will be going. Nicole said she is sorry but he is super good at competitions and stuff. Nicole told Paul that Victor understood. Paul said the two of them expected that Victor would most likely go. Paul said there are no hard feelings. Paul said it’s difficult for him now if Victor is gone, because he cannot lose. Nicole said it’s the same for everyone at this point. Paul agreed but said it’s scary. Later, Nicole told Corey that Victor was saying he was going home, so she said she is sorry. Nicole said they are definitely Paul’s target, because Paul pointed out that they have each other for the veto. Nicole said it’s so insane that if one of them wins veto, they are both safe. Corey said they are in the best spot possible, having two people out of four playing in the veto competition. Nicole told Corey she doesn’t think that the eviction will be tomorrow. Nicole said it’s too much to throw on the viewers all at once if they have evictions on back to back nights. Corey said he cannot imagine there being another day off tomorrow with nothing happening.
Note: The live feeds are down as of 9 AM PT on September 12th, returning at 9 PM PT on September 13th. They are taping the eviction for Tuesday's show. By the time feeds return, the Final 4 veto competition will have been played.
