Big Brother 18 Day 9 - Paul is the third nominee
June 23, 2016
10:00-11:00 PM: Frank and Paulie chatted in the bedroom. Paulie said that he is protecting Frank and Corey as well as Nicole to some extent. Paulie let Frank know that he is aware that some of the newbies do not trust him. Frank said he trusts Nicole a bit but trusts Corey and Paulie the most. He also said that he trusts Bridgette. Frank mentioned that he would like to use the Power of Veto on Paulie if he wins it though Nicole told him that she does not want to have to nominate anyone else. There was discussion about some of the newbies planning to vote Paulie out, but Frank figured that it would be an 8-3 vote if the nominations were to stay the same. Even if Jozea were to win the PoV, Frank thought that Paulie would stay by a vote of 7-4.
11:00-12:00 AM: James, Nicole and Zakiyah discussed that Jozea has a meeting planned for 2:00 AM. While Nicole believed that she and Michelle were the only ones not to receive an invite, James said that he and Corey were not invited either. Elsewhere, Michelle and Tiffany were alone in the HoH room. Tiffany took the opportunity to say hi to Vanessa. She said that she cannot do it in front of everyone because they don’t all know that Vanessa is her sister. Michelle asked who does know. In addition to the four veterans, Tiffany said that Michelle and Zakiyah are the only other two who know about her secret. Tiffany revealed that she is using the last name “Reed” and that whenever James says “Sarah” he is actually talking about Vanessa. Throughout the course of the discussion, we found out that there is an “8 Pack” alliance. The alliance members are the four veterans, Corey, Michelle, Tiffany and Zakiyah. Michelle said that she calls the other seven houseguests the “Stupid Squad” because they know nothing about the game. Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie were said to be a trio.
12:00-1:00 AM: Throughout the night, it was revealed through conversation that Paul is nominated in addition to Jozea and Paulie. Victor told Jozea that he wants to ask Michelle if she won the competition and nominated Paul. Jozea said that she will not admit to it. Victor agreed but said he wants to see if she freaks out about it. Victor said Michelle cannot be trusted when she nominates one of their own. Jozea feels that both Michelle and Nicole will have to go. Victor figured that it may be best to target Michelle first since he sees her as the one who is more capable of swaying the girls and putting together a girls alliance. In the bedroom, James said that they cannot have Jozea or Paul win the PoV. Frank asked James if he is worried. James said that he is not because they have the 8 Pack. Frank agreed and added that they have Bridgette and Paulie as well. Frank later mentioned that he would be fine with Paul leaving but he would prefer to get Jozea out first. The plan remains to target Jozea.
1:00-2:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Da’Vonne, James, Tiffany and Zakiyah discussed Paul. Tiffany said that she has nothing personally against Paul. Da’Vonne said her only issue with Paul is that he will take out a veteran. James agreed. Zakiyah said that was Paul’s goal from the start. Da’Vonne said that they walked in to the line being drawn in the sand because the newbies were against them as soon as they came out of the suitcase. Downstairs, Michelle and Nicole discussed the third nominee. Michelle said no one thinks that Nicole is the person who won, since they all think that it was her instead. Elsewhere, Natalie told Bronte that they cannot have Bridgette go on the block if the PoV is used. Bronte figured that Michelle would go up and that a lot of people would vote her out. Natalie said that would suck because she does not want a girl to go. Both girls agreed that they need to get the strong players out first.
2:00-3:00 AM: In the bedroom, Natalie told Bronte that she thinks Paulie was nominated as a pawn and he agreed to it because he wants to be in that alliance. Natalie said she thinks that Paulie needs to go. She said he is a strong player and Cody would have prepared him for the game beforehand. Bronte thought that either side could easily take down the other side if they play their cards right. She thinks that losing either Jozea or Paul could cause their alliance to fall apart. Natalie suggested that they start being friends with Tiffany because she is a smart player. She said the same for Nicole but Bronte figured that Nicole would nominate them anyway. Back up in the HoH room, an alliance of Da’Vonne, Michelle, Nicole, Tiffany and Zakiyah met up. They named their alliance the “Fatal Five”. They discussed their game plan for working on keeping the guys close for the time being. They figured that the guys were off making their own alliances. Tiffany suggested that James isn’t necessarily doing that but she could see Corey and Frank working together. The other girls threw Paulie’s name into the mix as well.
