Big Brother 18 Day 91 - Paul wins the Power of Veto
September 13, 2016
5:00-6:00 PM: During tonight’s special eviction episode, Victor was evicted by a vote of 2-0. The HoH competition then took place. It came down to a tiebreaker question between Nicole and Paul. Paul won HoH, guaranteeing himself a spot in the Final 3.
9:00-10:00 PM: The live feeds returned following the west coast airing of tonight’s episode. We found out that Paul had nominated Corey and Nicole for eviction. Paul then won the Power of Veto. Corey and Nicole agreed that they would like to know which way James will be voting. Nicole said she doesn’t think there is anything that they can do to change what is going to happen. James then came by. Corey asked if he would mind telling them which way he is going to vote. James mentioned that Paul wants to talk to Corey and Nicole again before giving him an ultimatum. James said he is going to have to repay Paul for keeping him safe, so he is going to vote whichever way Paul wants him to. James said it’s tough because he has to pick between two people who he likes equally. James asked if the two of them have any suggestions. Nicole asked if James is saying he would vote how they tell him to if they come to a decision. James said yeah because it would make it a lot easier on him. After James left, Nicole asked Corey if she should tell James to vote her out. Corey said he doesn’t want her to do that. Corey said he knew James would tell them to decide. Nicole called it disgusting and said it’s like they are in The Hunger Games. Corey assumed that James made a deal with Paul to vote him out. Nicole said there is no reason why Paul wouldn’t want him gone since he is the strongest competitor. Nicole said neither of them would take Paul to the end but she is not as threatening as Corey is. Once James came back by, Corey asked if he is scared to tell him that he is voting him out. James said he is not scared to say it. He admitted that Paul seems to be leaning towards evicting Corey. James said he will have to vote Corey out if that’s what Paul wants. Nicole asked what happens if she decides that she wants to be voted out. James said he would ask Paul if he can do that. Nicole let James know that it would be hard for either one of them to give up their game. After James left, Corey said it’s fine, she can go Final 3 and be excited. Nicole said it doesn’t make her excited to see Corey like this. Nicole said she doesn’t know what to do. Corey told her to do nothing and let him go. Nicole said she doesn’t want to do that. Up in the HoH room, James told Paul that Corey and Nicole are pressing him for an answer as to who is going. James said he told them that he will be doing what Paul tells him to do in order to repay him for saving him. Paul said he appreciates that. The two agreed that it is best for their game to get Corey out. Paul said they will look like idiots if they don’t get Corey out. James said Corey will be going.
10:00-11:00 PM: Paul spoke to Nicole, letting her know that he planted the seed with James to keep her. He said he is saving Nicole. Paul explained that salvaging both Corey and Nicole is not going to happen. Paul said he is giving Nicole his word on a Final 2 deal. He brought up that he would not stand a chance against Corey, but both he and Nicole have enemies in the house. Nicole said Zingbot even told her that she has no shot at winning the game. She added that everyone hates her. Paul said he could take James to the end but James doesn’t deserve it. Paul said James has no blood on his hands and he also has votes from Bridgette, Michelle and Natalie. Nicole said he would have Da’Vonne’s as well. Nicole mentioned that Corey was crying when he came out of the diary room, which makes her want to forfeit her game. Paul said she would look back on it and call herself an idiot if she were to do that. Paul said Nicole’s ride or die is dying at this point, so she cannot be emotional. Paul said this is a game show, not a dating show. Paul reiterated that he wants to bring Nicole to the Final 2. Nicole said she lives for Big Brother and is about to make Final 3. Paul told her that she will make the Final 2 if she commits to him. Paul explained that he would rather lose to Nicole than to James. Nicole talked about working towards getting to the end with Paul, because she would regret it for the rest of her life if she threw her game away for Corey. Paul then spoke to Corey to fill him in on the plan. He said he got really close to Corey and Nicole and sees them as such good people. Paul brought up how Corey once told him that he would be an idiot not to take Nicole. Corey said he totally gets it. He told Paul he appreciates him talking to him about it.
