Big Brother 18 Day 93
September 15, 2016
00-4:00 PM: Paul asked James how he is feeling about the next competition. James said he is a little nervous. He told Paul he can hopefully beat Nicole if it is indeed a mental competition. Paul said even in the worst case scenario, one of them will be competing in Part 3. James said they will be set if he wins Part 2. Paul talked about how he is mentally and physically exhausted because of this house. He said it chewed him up and spit him out. James said last season was fun but this season was stressful.
00-5:00 PM: After Paul finished talking to James, he headed out of the London room. He stopped by Nicole’s bed in the Tokyo room. He told her to make sure that she studies with him today. Nicole said she will.
00-6:00 PM: Paul told Nicole that James was saying Nicole has been sleeping all day because she is sad she lost Corey. Nicole said she really was tired. Paul said he pointed out that Nicole is in the Final 3, but James said he thinks Nicole is checked out. Nicole figures that James wants her to think she would throw the competition. Paul disagreed. He thinks that James is wanting to throw it because he is banking on him. Paul said James is so sneaky and it pisses him off. Paul told Nicole that James said he is a little nervous about the competition because mental comps are not his thing. Paul let Nicole know he told James to try his best but he will beat Nicole in Part 3 in the worst case scenario. Paul said it’s James’ best game move not to win, assuming they are oblivious to things. Nicole said James would die if he thought she would take Paul, because she has been saying there is no way she would ever take Paul to Final 2 since he is rude. Paul said he doesn’t care what Nicole said, because the plan was to sell it to James. Nicole thought James might be wanting to win. Paul said he might be wanting to so that he can throw it to him in Part 3, but James has been hinting that he doesn’t want to win Part 2. Paul said James is banking on both of them taking him to the end. Nicole thinks that James feels he is in the best position in the house. Nicole then headed to the diary room. Paul told James he is pretty sure that he can beat Nicole even if it comes down to them playing each other in Part 3. James said he is confident that Paul can win but he would like to win Part 2 anyway. Paul agreed that it would be best if James beat Nicole. Paul said he will tell Nicole she had better pray to God that she wins Part 3. Paul mentioned that Nicole screwed him over. James said it will be so cool to have the two of them at the end together. Paul said it will be good TV. James said he will scream “that’s for you, Natalie” when Nicole is evicted. He encouraged Paul to do the same for Victor.
00-7:00 PM: James spoke to the live feeders. He said he is a great position right now, because Nicole does not want to take Paul to the Final 2 and Paul does not want to take Nicole to the Final 2. James said it would definitely be a blindside if Paul doesn’t take him. James said he is going to have to bring it with his Final 2 speech if he ends up making it there. James said he will have to hope that Nicole or Paul take him to the end if he doesn’t win his way there. James counted out the jury votes. He thinks that he has the votes. He listed off Natalie, Michelle, Bridgette, Da’Vonne and Corey as his votes. He also thinks he has a shot at getting Paulie or Zakiyah to vote for him. Elsewhere, Nicole cried alone. She said she misses her best friend Corey. She said it’s hard not having him there when he deserves to be there and they have someone like James who doesn’t care. Nicole said her mom is her best friend and Corey took the place of her, being her comfort. Nicole said she is scared to death about what is going to happen. She didn’t know who to take if she wins the final HoH. Nicole explained that both she and Paul worked hard to get there, but James has done nothing. Paul walked in on Nicole crying. He encouraged her to get it together. Paul suggested that James is going to throw the competition. Nicole said she hates that James thinks he is in such a good spot. Paul told Nicole that he needs her to beat James because he will win the game if not and he doesn’t deserve it. Paul then helped Nicole study for the upcoming competition.
00-8:00 PM: Nicole told Paul that James is getting cockier. She said that she didn’t see it until Natalie was evicted. Paul reassured Nicole that he will take her to the end. Paul said he is keeping James busy when he is with him, preventing him from studying. Paul reminded Nicole that his plan was to beat James by making him think that he is in the middle. Nicole thinks James believes he is making it to the Final 2 no matter what happens. She said it will be the biggest blindside of the season. Nicole discussed that James knows he would disappoint Corey so much if he brought Paul to the end, like he would disappoint Natalie and Victor if he took her to the end. Paul said the cherry on top of it all is that James will not win America’s Favorite either. Nicole said this game was a dating show for James, as all he did was chase Natalie around. Nicole said Victoria took heat for the game she played, yet she played a better game than James has. Not long after, Nicole brought up how James chose the $5,000 in the veto competition, rather than taking the veto from Paulie in order to save Corey. Nicole used that as evidence that James is playing a ruthless game and not admitting to it. Nicole talked to Paul about how she tried to get Corey to nominate James instead of Paul and Victor. She said they got in a fight over it because she told Corey that she doesn’t want him to nominate Paul and Victor.
00-9:00 PM: Nicole said she misses Corey but at the same time she didn’t even know him a couple of months ago. Nicole pointed out that it’s funny no pair made it to the Final 3 after there were three of them in the Final 6 together. Nicole said imagine if it was the opposite and Corey, Natalie and Victor remained. Paul said Natalie would have won the endurance competition, then Corey and Victor would be battling it out in the mental competition. Paul joked that they should swap out with those three because it would make for better TV.
00-10:00 PM: Paul told James that Nicole will not beat him if they end up competing in Part 3. Paul brought up how Nicole always says she blacks out during competitions. He said he is banking on that happening again. Paul then talked about how Nicole might be bluffing about not missing Corey, seeing as she was crying in the safari room earlier. Paul had told Nicole that he would sell it to James that she was crying, which she was. James said Nicole is lying if she claims that she isn’t hurting. James admitted that he was hurt when Natalie left.
00-11:00 PM: Before heading to bed, Paul told Nicole that James is in a very weird mood. Nicole asked why. Paul said he doesn’t know but it’s good. He mentioned that James is freaking out and is scared, so the more confident Nicole is, the better. Paul said they will win the game and not have to worry for the rest of the week if Nicole wins Part 2.
00-12:00 AM: James said it’s going to suck to finish in third place. Paul asked what he is talking about and why he is going to finish in third. James said he just wants to win Part 2 so that he can bring something to the table and it’s not just Paul winning to save them. Paul said it doesn’t matter at this point as long as they get to the end. Paul told James that he is confident. James said he is confident in Paul but he doesn’t want to put him in the position to have to beat Nicole. Paul told James he doesn’t think he has anything to worry about even if Nicole wins.
