Big Brother 18 Day 94 - Nicole wins Part 2 of the HoH competition

September 16, 2016

11:00-12:00 PM: James told Paul he thinks that Part 2 of the HoH competition may be a crossword. James worried that he doesn’t know how to spell Zakiyah’s name. While Paul had told Nicole the correct spelling of Zakiyah’s name last night, he told James that it might be “Zakia”. James searched the house for something with Zakiyah’s name on it. He eventually found something with her name on it. Paul said he didn’t know her name was that long. Paul asked James how to spell Da’Vonne. James said it’s either “Da’Vonne” or “Da’VVone”. Paul asked if he is sure that there is no “y” in her name. James said there is not. Paul asked if he is sure. James said he is positive. Both Nicole and Paul had thought that Da’Vonne’s name was spelled with a y. Paul went to Nicole to tell her that James is is going around looking for name tags so that the knows how to spell things. Nicole said they wont expect them to spell names. Paul let Nicole know that James figured out how to spell Zakiyah. Nicole told Paul to distract him. James then asked Paul how to spell Jozea. Paul said that “Jose” is the typical spelling.

1:00-2:00 PM: Paul told Nicole that James doesn’t know his stuff. He mentioned that James thinks Da’Vonne is spelled with two Vs. Paul said James has been kissing his butt, saying he needs to win the final HoH competition. Paul said it’s like James is assuming that he wont even be competing. Paul told Nicole that James has said he wants to be at the end with him, not with her. Paul told Nicole that she will win Part 2. He said he kept James up late last night and he is trying to make sure that James can’t study. He talked about giving James the incorrect spelling of Da’Vonne and Jozea’s names. Paul again said that Nicole will win the competition, then they will have won the game. Nicole said she is going to tell James that she is not taking him to the end once she wins the competition. Paul talked about how he will tell James he voted against him and if James had it his way, he would be out of the house already. That would be part of Paul’s speech when he votes to evict James. Paul and Nicole discussed that James thinks he would beat either of them in the Final 2. Paul counted out James’ votes as Natalie, Michelle and either Da’Vonne or Bridgette depending on which of them is at the end with him.

2:00-3:00 PM: Paul told Nicole he is convinced that James is not going to win the competition because he doesn’t want to win it. Paul said James knows he wont win Part 3 even if he does win the next one. Paul gave Nicole tips on how to remain calm during the competition. He told her that even if she does lose, he will beat James and he will take her to the Final 2 with him. The two talked about being annoyed with James. Nicole said there is only one Derrick. She pointed out that she already played with Derrick and knows how it felt to do so. She said the feeling that she gets playing with James is different. Nicole thought it may look like James is playing Derrick’s game in the diary room and to America, even though he is not playing that game. Nicole said James is not good and he is not sneaky either.

5:00-6:00 PM: While James and Paul took a nap, Nicole spoke to the live feeders. She said she feels like this season she really got to experience Big Brother. Nicole talked about how she didn’t really play the game the first time around, making this season a whole different experience. Nicole said she is fortunate that she got to see the beauty of being in the house playing Big Brother and then actually playing Big Brother, which are two completely different things. Nicole called Paul the most intelligent person in the house. She admitted to being happy that she doesn’t have to compete against him in the upcoming mental competition. Nicole said she had expected James to win the endurance competition. James got out of bed and joined her. They discussed how this season is not like their previous seasons, because those were more like summer camp. Nicole said she is petrified to see the jury. She thinks they are going to grill her if they get the chance to. Nicole also worried about how she is perceived since she was in a showmance last time as well. Nicole wondered what the crowd would be like whenever she leaves the house. James assured her that the crowd will be cheering for her.

8:00-9:00 PM: Nicole headed to bed and said please don’t let the competition be tonight. She said she is exhausted. Elsewhere, Paul asked James if he has been studying. Paul said James has to pull this one out. James agreed. He expects that the competition will have to do with knowing the houseguest’s names, as was the case last season with the crossword puzzle. Paul told James to use his intuition, adding that it’s not his first rodeo. James said he thinks Nicole knows that she has to win against Paul or else she will not get to the end. James let Paul know that prior to Corey’s eviction, Nicole made it very clear that she will not take Paul to the end. Minutes later, Paul told Nicole about his conversation with James, including that he said Nicole told James he wouldn’t take Paul to the end.

9:00-10:00 PM: The Final 3 chatted in the bedroom. Paul brought up the message that the fan with the bullhorn gave them about James and Nicole having a preseason alliance. Paul said Natalie looked right at James, said she knew he had a deal with Nicole, then stormed off. James told Nicole he had to explain to Natalie all season long that he didn’t have anything with her. James thought Michelle put the idea in Natalie’s head because she was convinced that he and Nicole had something together.

1:00-2:00 AM: Feeds returned following Part 2 of the Final HoH competition. Nicole won the competition and will now compete against Paul in Part 3 on finale night. Nicole said as a Big Brother superfan, it’s a dream come true. James said he doesn’t do well under pressure, so Paul and Nicole can battle it out. Nicole told James that he did well but she was just insanely quickly because she has been studying a lot. James said he knew the answers but couldn’t get the cards.

2:00-3:00 AM: Paul told Nicole they are done. Nicole said they can just chill now. Nicole said they have come a long way. Nicole and Paul looked at the camera and said “Final 2, baby!”. Paul said James is never going to let them be alone. Paul assured Nicole that there is nothing James can say to him to change his mind. Nicole said the same to Paul. They agreed that they will be taking each other to Final 2. Nicole said she will tell James that she is not taking him if he asks. Nicole said she is glad that James didn’t throw it to her. They discussed that it was in James’ best interest to win at least one of the competitions. Nicole said James did nothing. Paul let Nicole know that his speech to James will be that he was on the block six times with only two votes to evict, with one of them being James. He then wants to say that James wouldn’t be in the Final 3 without him yet he would be gone if James had his way. Paul said he might vomit because he is so happy. Nicole said she is happy too. She told Paul that she knew she had smoked James in that competition. Paul mentioned that the only votes they can count on are Corey’s and Victor’s, then the rest are up in the air. Nicole said girls don’t like her and she wont have their votes. She also said Michelle doesn’t like girls and therefore she wont get her vote. Nicole and Paul agreed that Nicole will probably have Paulie’s vote. Paul thought he might have Bridgette’s vote. Paul said he doesn’t even want to think about jury since it is out of their control at this point. Paul asked how they should act towards James. Nicole said just act normal. She said she will not be talking to him about any game.

3:00-4:00 AM: James told Paul he is sorry. Paul said it’s alright and he has just got to win one more competition. James said he really did try. Paul said it looked like a very hard competition. They talked about Nicole’s time of seven minutes being insane.
