Big Brother 18 Day 98

September 20, 2016

5:00-6:00 PM: Nicole spoke to Paul about how the jury voting works. Paul didn’t realize that they would find out who voted which way when Julie reveals the votes. Nicole said she is going to vomit if it is tied 4-4 and it comes down to Michelle’s vote. Nicole said Paul will beat her 6-3 or 7-2. Paul asked what drugs she is on. Nicole again said that her best guess is he wins 6-3. Paul said maybe she wins 6-3. Paul said Nicole is giving him way too much credit in terms of how much people like him. Nicole said it’s not that people like Paul, but they would be more satisfied with giving him the win over her. If it was based strictly on gameplay, Nicole said she would give Paul a run for his money. Nicole told Paul there is no way that she will get Natalie, Michelle or Da’Vonne to vote for her. Paul said he thinks that Nicole is going to win. Nicole said she will be pleasantly surprised if she does. After Paul went to the diary room, Nicole said “crap. What do I do?”. She figured that Corey would take James and that taking James would give her Corey, Paulie and Victor’s votes 100%.

6:00-7:00 PM: Nicole whispered to herself while in bed. She said she doesn’t have the votes against Paul and even she would want to vote for him. Paul walked by the bedroom. After he did, Nicole whispered to herself that Paul knows she is not taking him. She said he is not dumb. Nicole thought that she gave Paul so many hints. Nicole pointed out that Paul probably wouldn’t take her either, so she shouldn’t be feeling guilty when she doesn’t even know what he would do. Nicole continue to rehearse her speech and her answers to the questions that she expects to be asked. It was much the same as it had been for the past couple of days. Nicole talked about how there is definitely strategy in not having a great social game. She explained that she is there answering these questions because of that. She compared that to Corey who she thinks everybody loved and would have voted for to win the game, using that as evidence of how her strategy was strong.

7:00-8:00 PM: Nicole brought up that people would call her a snake and say things about her as they walked out the door. She said that she used that as strategy, saying that people will not vote for her at the end. Nicole also said that she didn’t socialize with many people because she knew that nobody would want to keep someone in the house who is loved by the whole jury. Nicole explained that she didn’t open her mouth a lot in this game, which was intentional because she did not want people to have anything to use against her. However, Nicole admitted that doing that caused some people not to trust her.

8:00-9:00 PM: Paul and Nicole talked about how James’ behaviour is weird and that he is happy again. Nicole was worried that Paul had told him he would take him to the end. Paul assured her that he did not and that he is just as confused about it as she is. Paul said he thinks James’ jury vote will be fair since he hasn’t tried to entice him or anything. Nicole said that she hasn’t either. Paul admitted that he too worried that Nicole may have offered James a deal based on how he has been acting. Nicole said that James hasn’t even asked her what she is doing. Paul let Nicole know that he wont be saying anything bad about her in his speech. He said he plans to be himself and if that doesn’t work, he wasn’t cut out to the win the game. Paul said he is excited to hear Nicole’s speech. Nicole said it’s not good and there is nothing to it. Nicole claimed that her speech is a mess. Paul said she will do fine.

9:00-10:00 PM: Nicole told Paul that she doesn’t want the jury to think that her game was pure luck. She said that she had to work from week to week and she was not relaxed for one minute in the game. Nicole didn’t think the jury would reward someone who was chilling, so she doesn’t want them thinking that she did that. Paul reminded Nicole that there was a jury roundtable and he is sure that some of the people there knew some of the things that she did. Nicole said she didn’t even do much. Nicole admitted that she would have felt comfortable sitting next to Corey and knowing that he was going to beat her. She talked about how it was not smart of James to vote Corey out, considering that Corey would have taken him to the end. She thought that James did it for Natalie. Nicole asked Paul if he thinks that he would beat James. Paul said he really doesn’t think so. Nicole argued that James did not play a good game. Paul counted out five votes for James, those being Da’Vonne, Bridgette, Natalie, Michelle and Corey. Nicole told Paul that he could beat her and he could beat James. Paul disagreed and said his odds are better with Nicole. Nicole said she doesn’t like that James thinks he is the best when Paul would likely beat him if he takes him. Paul said one of them will be getting first and the other will be getting second, so they have already won. Nicole said that winning first place is the big deal. Paul pointed out that she doesn’t seem that competitive. Nicole said it’s her dream. Paul said it’s his dream to win Big Brother too. Nicole said it’s crazy that Paul seems to be dead set on taking her even though he could have a better shot at beating James. She brought up that he could secretly be planning on turning on her. Paul said he would then not get her vote and he would lose no matter what. Paul reiterated that he wants to take Nicole to the end. Nicole said she wants to take Paul but wanted to be sure that he isn’t BSing her. Nicole explained that it’s a game and she would be understanding if he thought his better move was to take James. Paul said he would be very personally hurt by that move if Nicole were to make it. If he gets screwed over like that, Paul said he would probably never talk to Nicole again. He said it would be different if she had told him ahead of time, but there is no reason to string him along if she wants to vote him out. Paul said he doesn’t make empty promises and he will take her. Nicole said she wants to win the game and therefore she wants to make sure that she isn’t being an idiot and taking the person who could beat her over someone that she could beat. Paul said their odds are better with each other, but she has got to do what she has got to do if she feels differently. Nicole wanted to know why Paul would take her. Paul explained that his argument has nothing to do with his opponent. He then mentioned that James is tied to three people and that is not a gamble that he is willing to take. On top of that, Paul said he would rather lose to her than to James. Nicole questioned why James isn’t trying to fight unless he knows that he is going to the end for sure. Paul said he figures that James put two and two together, realizing what is happening between them. Nicole said she will “what if” her whole life if she doesn’t win the game. Nicole told Paul that she didn’t even think about this until they started discussing the move that Cody made in taking Derrick over Victoria when he would have beat Victoria. Paul asked Nicole what her arguments are to win against James. Nicole said she doesn’t think she can beat James. Paul then asked what the issue is then. Nicole said she doesn’t want to get just one vote. Nicole again mentioned being weirded out by James’ behaviour. Paul said that he was too and wondered the same thing in terms of whether or not Nicole had told James something. Paul told Nicole that for once in the game, she should take what he is saying at face value. Paul said he is taking Nicole and it will be a toss up between the two of them. Nicole asked Paul how he can be so calm. Paul said one of them has to be calm. He also said that his mind was made up from the moment he spoke to Nicole, whether she won the competition or not. At the end of the talk, Paul said he feels a lot better now. Nicole said that she does too. He asked her to come to him if she is freaking out again tomorrow.
