Big Brother 22 Day 32 - Christmas wins the Power of Veto
September 5, 2020
7:57 AM: Feeds went down to pick players for the veto competition.
9:22 AM: The veto players are Christmas, Bayleigh, Da’Vonne, Dani, Ian and Nicole. David will be the host.
9:34 AM: Dani let Da’Vonne know that she will throw the veto to her if she can. Dani said Bayleigh is obviously Christmas’ target but she doesn’t know if Da’Vonne has the votes. Da’Vonne said that she does not. Dani said they have got to get her off of the block. Da’Vonne asked Nicole is going to do. Dani said she wants to win the veto to pull her off but would want Christmas’ blessing to do so. Dani asked if Kevin has a power. Da’Vonne said that he has not told her that he does if he does.
9:38 AM: Da’Vonne told Christmas that people will look to her if the nominations stay the same, so she would like to know if she has her support. Christmas said her ideal situation is that one of the nominees win the veto. She said that the events of the past 24 hours have shed some light on things for her, so win the veto and they can put someone more deserving of being on the block up in her place. Christmas said she would still like to see Da’Vonne win an HoH and a PoV.
9:40 AM: Dani told Nicole that she let Da’Vonne know that she may not have the votes. She said Da’Vonne doesn’t think that she does, which should amp her up because she needs to win the veto.
10:33 AM: Nicole asked Christmas what she wants her to do. Christmas said Nicole mentioned something last night about keeping the girls in the house, so she wants to know how she feels about it. Nicole said she wants to keep Da’Vonne but she doesn’t think that she could trust Bayleigh. Christmas wondered who the replacement nominee should be. Nicole said Kevin. Nicole said she would like to establish something with Da’Vonne and Dani but she thinks that Da’Vonne will go. Christmas said she will be upset if her wishes are not respected. Christmas talked about Dani not owning that she said her name to Janelle week one. Nicole said Christmas should not do the dirty work of getting Tyler out, cause he is not coming for them. Nicole said that they have got to win the veto. Christmas told Nicole that Dani needs to try. Nicole worried that Bayleigh, Da’Vonne and Kevin could all end up safe this week if Kevin has a power and one of them wins the veto. Nicole suggested getting Bayleigh out followed by Kevin, because Da’Vonne would then stay loyal to the girls.
11:03 AM: Christmas asked Enzo what his thoughts are. Enzo said that he would try to lock the nominations in and then he would get rid of Da’Vonne. Enzo then said that he would do whatever Christmas wants to do. They discussed thinking that Kevin got a power.
12:17 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
3:00 PM: Feeds returned. Christmas won the Power of Veto. It was a prizes and punishments competition. Da’Vonne won $5,000, Bayleigh received a “tri-athlete” punishment, Nicole received a unitard, and Dani won a slop pass.
3:01 PM: Dani and Nicole sat down with Christmas. They were concerned that she would be upset about them not taking the Power of Veto, leaving her to have to do it herself. Christmas said she is not mad since they did not talk about a strategy beforehand. Christmas later said that it is the best case scenario since she can tell the nominees that it will be left up to the house to decide. Dani said she believes that Da’Vonne would be easy for the girls to pull in if she stays. Christmas said that Da’Vonne is the quieter and more chill of the two.
3:14 PM: Da’Vonne told Christmas that she was a wreck as soon as she saw the comp because it was the same one that sent her out during BB18. Da’Vonne said that she doesn’t want to campaign against Bayleigh. Christmas wondered how they could figure this out without campaigning, in order to be as kind and gentle as possible. Christmas brought up that the baddest females are left. She suggested that they could run circles around the others. Da’Vonne said that she is down to ride but everyone seems scared to do it. Da’Vonne brought up that the only way to do it is if somebody else goes home. She added that the two of them, Dani and Nicole would be a powerhouse. Christmas let Da’Vonne know that she wants to see her in the game. She acknowledged that Bayleigh or Da’Vonne will be leaving this week.
3:35 PM: Da’Vonne told David that she is not going to campaign against Bayleigh but she stills needs to campaign. Da’Vonne pointed out that she went around campaigning for David when he was nominated. Da’Vonne said her only request is that David lets her know if he decides not to vote for her. David said that he will hear Bayleigh out since he has not locked in on a decision as of yet.
3:39 PM: Bayleigh asked Dani and Nicole if they think there is a chance that Christmas will use the veto. Both said that they do not know. Bayleigh said that she will not campaign against Da’Vonne. Dani said that she will put feelers out to see where Christmas is at. Nicole said that she will do the same. Bayleigh brought up that she would like to get a bigger target out. Da’Vonne pointed out that if they both stay past this week, she and Bayleigh would be two votes for Dani and Nicole should they make it to the Final 2.
3:49 PM: Da’Vonne told Dani and Nicole she does not think that the veto will be used. Both girls assured Da’Vonne that she has their vote. They mentioned that Ian and Kevin are likely on board as well, so she will just need one more.
3:54 PM: Da’Vonne told Memphis that she expects nominations to stay the same. She told him that she still wants to be an ally of his but he has been running away from her. Memphis said that he is playing the lone wolf. He said that he would like to talk to Bayleigh as well, and then they can talk further.
3:56 PM: Da’Vonne told Enzo she knows that he is close rot Bayleigh, which he admitted to. Da’Vonne stressed that she will be riding with him until the wheels fall off. She said that if Enzo is threatened by someone, she will put them on the block. Da’Vonne asked that if Enzo is not going to vote for her that he let her know. Enzo said he will be straight up once he knows what he is doing.
4:06 PM: Christmas and Cody discussed that Kevin has got to go next. Both believe that he has a power. Cody said that he has no problem throwing Kevin on the block if he wins HoH. Cody admitted that he is nervous about Ian as well since he did so well towards the end of the game on his season.
4:30 PM: Da’Vonne told Bayleigh that she is more liked in the house. Bayleigh disagreed. She said that Da’Vonne will have Dani, Kevin, Tyler, Nicole and then Nicole has Ian. Da’Vonne disagreed. She ran through the votes that she thinks Bayleigh will have. Da’Vonne encouraged Bayleigh to keep fighting in order to go home with the cheque. She told her not to get distracted by what Dani or Tyler are up to. Bayleigh said she appreciates what Dani and Nicole have done so there is no beef there with either of them moving forward.
4:31 PM: Up in the HoH room, Christmas, Cody, Memphis and Nicole discussed the pros and cons for who to keep. Memphis said they seem to be even as competitors. Nicole brought up that Da’Vonne has not won a competition in her three seasons playing the game. She added that if Christmas has a preference, they will back her up and vote that way. Memphis agreed. Christmas said that she is going to take the night off.
4:48 PM: Dani spoke to Cody about not telling her that her name was being brought up. Cody said he let Da’Vonne know that Dani was not saying her name, and then Tyler told him that he had squashed things so he didn’t want to go around being the catalyst behind stirring things up. Dani revealed she felt as though Cody was protecting Tyler over her. Dani said that bothers her since it makes her feel expendable to him when she goes around saying that Cody is her BB BFF. Cody denied that he would ever take part in anything that results in sending Dani home.
5:37 PM: Tyler asked Christmas if she still wants Bayleigh to go. Christmas said that Bayleigh is the better physical competitor than Da’Vonne who has shown that she gets shook under pressure. Tyler said Da’Vonne told him she knows there is no way that he is keeping her, but in his head he was thinking that he was planning on keeping her. Christmas said she will pretend that she is working through her options but Bayleigh has got to go. Christmas informed Tyler that Bayleigh said he is the one that told her that Dani was coming after her. Tyler denied it. He said he knew that he would be the scapegoat. Christmas said that Da’Vonne and Dani believe it as well. Christmas explained that Bayleigh, Dani and Nicole all confided in her with that information. Tyler asked if they tried to get him backdoored. Christmas said no. Tyler worried that Cody, Enzo and others may have heard of this and be believing it too.
6:42 PM: Bayleigh told Da’Vonne that Tyler is running the game once again. Da’Vonne didn’t understand how people could let him do that after watching him play. Bayleigh said they are sheep and he is playing an excellent game. Da’Vonne thought that Christmas should take the shot, rather having made it contingent on one of them winning the veto.
7:03 PM: Christmas told Dani she thinks that Bayleigh going is the best move. Dani agreed. She pointed out that if there is a pre-jury Battle Back, Bayleigh would have a better shot at beating Janelle. The girls discussed that Da’Vonne cracks under pressure.
7:53 PM: Tyler talked to Cody and Enzo that Dani and Nicole know that he told Bayleigh and Da’Vonne that Dani was after them. Cody said that they are associated with it now, because Dani is mad that the and Enzo did not tell her. Tyler apologized. Tyler worried that Dani would backdoor him next week if she gets the chance. Cody said there is no shot. He told Tyler that you cannot backdoor someone without knowing that you have the numbers. Tyler said that Dani would have Da’Vonne, Ian, Kevin and Nicole as votes.
8:59 PM: Nicole received her punishment costume that she must wear for the next week.
9:37 PM: Bayleigh started her punishment. She has to complete 500 laps on a tricycle within 12 hours. If she fails to complete the task, she will not be able to compete in next week’s veto competition.
9:51 PM: Dani told Da’Vonne she thinks that she has a good shot at staying. She asked what she should tell Bayleigh about her vote. She wondered if she should say that promised to keep Da’Vonne if she was ever on the block early on in the game. Da’Vonne said yeah. Da’Vonne explained that Bayleigh knows that they are close and that Dani is her person just like Janelle was Bayleigh’s person. Dani advised Da’Vonne not to overplay since there is plenty of time to go before Thursday. She said that she and others are putting in work for her as well.
11:56 PM: Dani told Cody about her talk with Enzo in which he said “yeah” when she asked if he has a power, and then he immediately went no no no. Cody said he would be so mad if Enzo has one and didn’t tell him. Dani said most people don’t say anything when they get one. Cody let Dani know that Tyler said today that he thinks Dani is going to try to backdoor him next week but he told Tyler to relax because she is not going to do that. Dani said if Tyler is thinking that, he will come after her. Cody said he doesn’t think so. Dani said she will go off if he comes after her. Cody told Dani that he will let her know if Tyler is going to do that.
12:04 AM: Cody wondered when the right time to get Ian out is. Cody said he doesn’t want to isolate Nicole but he does not want Ian going deep in the game. Dani said she would put money on it that this Thursday would be a double, so that’s a chance to get someone out without dealing with campaigning and a drawn out week. Cody mentioned that sending Ian home during a double would be ripping the bandaid off with Nicole. Dani asked Cody what he is thinking for this week. Cody said he doesn’t like the way that Da’Vonne plays but Bayleigh is so emotional. Dani said she was thinking that if by chance there is a Battle Back, Bayleigh would have a better shot at beating Janelle.
12:37 AM: Da’Vonne told Kevin that Nicole is going to work on Cody for her. She mentioned that Kevin can work on David for her. Da’Vonne thinks that she has Ian, Nicole and Dani. Both believe that Enzo is not budging in his stance of wanting to keep Bayleigh.
1:01 AM: Bayleigh finished her 500th lap, completing her punishment task.
2:04 AM: Da’Vonne told Bayleigh she talked to Cody and said that he and Enzo had better protect Bayleigh if she stays. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t think that she has Cody or Enzo voting for her. The girls agreed that Christmas is not going to use the veto. Bayleigh said Christmas looks terrified every time that she looks at her. Da’Vonne said people saw Bayleigh have one argument in which she bit her lip or her tongue, and she is a monster. Da’Vonne said she told someone to stop talking about her child, and now she is a monster. Da’Vonne told Bayleigh that she is only talking about what she can do for people during her conversations. Bayleigh said she is not going to campaign. Da’Vonne encouraged her to. Bayleigh explained that even if she stayed, it’s a long road ahead with no help. She thinks that people will be even more scared of her if she does win something.
