Big Brother 22 Day 59 - Cody nominates Christmas and Tyler for eviction
October 2, 2020
10:04 AM: Nicole spoke to the cameras. She apologized to Dom. She explained that she thought Dani was talking about her behind her back, and she made a huge mistake. Nicole said that she cannot stand Christmas. She clarified that she didn’t tell Christmas anything about Dani that she didn’t already know. Nicole said she can trust no one but Cody and Enzo. Nicole mentioned that keeping Tyler over Ian was a pivotal moment in this game and she know that it was a bad idea. Nicole went on to call Tyler the biggest liar that she has ever seen.
11:26 AM: Nicole told Cody that she is putting on a fake face but she hates Christmas and Tyler so much that she cannot even look at them. Cody asked if Christmas tried to talk to her when she slept in the have-not room last night. Nicole said Christmas cried herself to sleep, likely because she feels so guilty about what she did.
12:55 PM: Memphis told Cody he feels as though Christmas may have been the antagonist when it came to flipping the vote against Nicole. He said it’s super aggressive and he doesn’t think that Tyler has it in him. Cody said he thinks that it totally could have been Christmas and that Tyler figured he had a good relationship with Enzo and could get him on board. Cody also pointed out that they could have come up with the plan together. Cody said he doesn’t know what he is going to say to Christmas and Tyler about putting them on the block. Memphis said he doesn’t think that anyone can be mad about being put up this late in the game unless they have a final two deal with the person.
1:05 PM: Tyler told Cody that he messed up and has been sweating it all night. Cody said that voting to evict Nicole looks a certain way to the house and gives him something easy to do. He assured Tyler that there is no way this will go wrong for him. Cody stressed that he is not going to let Tyler leave on his HoH week. Tyler explained that David approached him to say that he had Christmas and Enzo locked. Cody said he feels as though Christmas is another Dani in the sense that she is running around doing stuff all of the time. Tyler agreed. Tyler told Cody that his logic for voting Nicole out was also that he wanted Dani to go and knew that David was more likely to put her up. Cody said he doesn’t feel any type of way about Tyler for what he did, as they have had a trust between them since they walked through the doors. Cody said he has already talked to Nicole and let her know that Christmas is going. Tyler didn’t believe that Nicole would vote Christmas out over him, but Cody insisted that she would. In addition to Nicole, Cody said that Enzo would vote to evict Christmas. Tyler said he gets it but feels like an idiot since his intention was not to screw things up. Cody asked that Tyler not spiral into think that he is after him.
1:23 PM: Cody let Nicole know that Memphis thinks Christmas was the catalyst behind the vote flip. Nicole said Christmas is dead to her and she wants her to go first. The two agreed that, based on their conversations with him, Memphis would not use the veto on Christmas. Cody and Nicole discussed that Christmas and Tyler had messy gameplay last night when it came to the vote. Cody pointed out that the first person Christmas grabbed after she won the veto was Tyler, not the HoH or the nominees. Cody said he is 55/45 in terms of who he wants to leave this week, with Christmas having the slight edge at this point. Nicole said she doesn’t like either one of them but she was thinking that keeping Tyler could be beneficial since it would leave a target for Memphis. If Tyler is gone, Nicole thinks that she would be Memphis’ target since she would be the only one not in an alliance with him. Cody said he is really leaning towards targeting Christmas right now. Nicole assured Cody that she would do whatever he wants her to do.
1:35 PM: Tyler told Enzo that he has to win the veto otherwise he is gone this week. Enzo said he needs Tyler in the house since Cody is close with Nicole, Memphis is close with Christmas, and he has no one. Enzo let Tyler know that he has his vote no matter what. Enzo said that Cody is not going to want him to use the veto if he wins it, but he will go to Cody and say that they have to make a move. Enzo mentioned that Cody must have something with Memphis if he is putting Tyler up over him. Tyler said he never thought that Cody would put him up. Enzo said it’s throwing him for a loop.
1:52 PM: Christmas told Cody that she adores Nicole but Memphis told her that he did not want the veto use, and Nicole was fine with that. Christmas said Tyler then asked to talk to her and said that the vote was flipping. She said she asked Enzo if this is happening and he said something like “let’s go”. Christmas claimed that she was then waiting for someone to look at her and blink yes to confirm things but she was the first to be called to vote, followed by Tyler who asked her if she voted to evict Nicole. Christmas said she feels duped by Tyler since it now looks like she was a part of something bigger that she wasn’t. Cody said Tyler asked him what was happening and he said David was going, yet Tyler later claimed that he didn’t know the plan. Christmas stressed that she trusts Nicole and is frustrated that this has put a wedge between them.
2:20 PM: Cody told Enzo that Memphis thinks Christmas was the catalyst but he believes that it was Tyler after talking to both of them. Enzo figured that Tyler did it to help him and Christmas out as well as to get Nicole away from Cody. Cody said it’s the same reason that they are doing what they are doing. Enzo asked who they want to get rid of right now. Cody said it’s a decision that they will have to make, and Nicole is down to do whatever. He said Nicole made a good point that leaving Tyler in would leave someone for Memphis to go after. Cody said he wants to let Tyler know that Christmas said she feels duped by him. Enzo later said that if Christmas is going, he will tell Memphis that he is voting her out because he wants him to himself.
2:31 PM: Christmas told Nicole she feels really terrible for what happened last night. She said Tyler told her that everything was flipping and then Enzo said “let’s go” which seemed to be confirmation, but she doesn’t think that Enzo even knew what he was saying “let’s go” to. Christmas said Tyler continued to give her the nod yes. Nicole admitted that she initially thought Dani and Tyler had voted her out, as she never would have thought that Christmas would evict her. Nicole said she feels guilty since Dani saved her yet she had Christmas’ back more than hers. Nicole said she is glad that Christmas was honest about her vote and that it was not her plan.
2:51 PM: Christmas told Enzo she has an inclination that she is going on the block. She expects Tyler go up next to her. Enzo said that means that Cody is really tight with Nicole. Enzo told Christmas that she will have his vote and Memphis’ vote. Christmas said the only thing that cant happen is Tyler winning the veto. Christmas told Enzo that she will not even use the veto if she wins it. When Enzo told her that she has to, Christmas said that she would think about it but she would love to show everyone who she thinks should go home and ensure that no one else has to go on the block.
4:06 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
5:01 PM: Feeds returned. Cody nominated Christmas and Tyler for eviction.
5:02 PM: Christmas and Tyler discussed that it didn’t make sense for Enzo to keep Nicole. Christmas said he has been terrified of Nicole the whole time, so she doesn’t get it unless he is working with her. Tyler said that one of them have to win the veto, or Enzo or Memphis win the veto and take one of them off. Christmas said that Nicole wont go up no matter what. Tyler said he is confident that they can still do this.
5:08 PM: Nicole checked in with Christmas to see if she is okay. Christmas said yeah. She pointed out that there were only five possible nominees. Nicole said she is there for her and encouraged her to win the veto.
5:10 PM: Nicole let Cody know that Christmas blamed everything on Tyler. Nicole said she kind of believes it. Cody said Christmas did the same to him. He thinks that both Christmas and Tyler are lying. Cody said that they have to win the veto and then they can figure it out. Nicole said she is playing nice and acting like things are okay but they are not. Nicole said her gut is telling her that Tyler has to go but it does not make sense with the chips that they have. Cody said that if Tyler wins, there is a chance that Memphis will be on the block instead of one of them. Nicole thinks that it will be the two of them up if he wins.
5:21 PM: Christmas touched base with Cody. She let him know that she is willing to talk if he has any follow up questions. Christmas made it clear that she is not taking this personally and that she likely would have done the same in Cody’s position. Cody said he respects Christmas so much as a person and he feels horrible. Christmas said that they can have another conversation if she wins the veto.
5:31 PM: Enzo told Nicole that Tyler was talking to him in the DR hallway for 20 seconds, trying to get him to vote her out. They discussed that Christmas and Tyler are blaming each other for what happened. Nicole said she is wondering if they should send Tyler out since he is acting so desperate and scared. Enzo said he is undecided at this point. Nicole mentioned that Tyler is more likely to win out but he also may go after Memphis. Enzo said they could break up Christmas and Memphis, have Memphis go after Tyler, and then they can go after Memphis.
6:10 PM: Tyler told Enzo that best case scenario is Enzo wins the veto and uses it on him so that Memphis is forced to go up. Tyler said he will vote Christmas out to appease Cody. Enzo said they can talk to Cody if he wins the veto.
8:47 PM: Nicole told Cody that Enzo definitely wants to keep Tyler, which makes sense. Nicole added that it makes sense for her to keep him as well. Cody believes that they could get Enzo to vote the other way if they wanted him to but he can’t wrap his head around that at this point. Nicole said she was running through scenarios and it seems that keeping Tyler is better if he wouldn’t ever put Enzo up. Cody said he already told Enzo last night to make sure that Tyler would not put him up, because they can’t have him be the replacement nominee if he and Nicole are the initial nominees. Nicole agreed that keeping Tyler is their best bet if Enzo wouldn’t be the replacement nominee for him.
8:55 PM: Memphis explained to Enzo that it is better for the two of them if Christmas wins the veto, as they wouldn’t be forced to show their hand if Cody ends up wanting Christmas to go. Memphis suggested that Tyler would go either way but it would be easier to get Cody on board if Nicole is up next to him as a pawn. Memphis doesn’t think that it will take much convincing to get Cody on board with evicting Tyler. Memphis brought up that as long as they get Tyler and Nicole out, they are covered on both ends with Christmas and Cody since they have The Wise Guys alliance with each of them. Enzo pointed out that Tyler is the better player than Christmas is. Memphis agreed. Enzo said that Cody may be a little bit worried about how close Christmas and Memphis are, but they can sit him down after the veto competition to discuss things.
9:10 PM: Memphis told Cody and Enzo that he is trying to keep the peace with Christmas even though he wants to tell her to go f*ck herself after last night. Memphis brought up Nicole telling him that Christmas and Tyler said he wanted them to flip the vote. The guys agreed that they have to fight for the veto tomorrow in order to ensure that Tyler remains on the block.
