Big Brother 22 Day 62 - Cody decides not to use the Power of Veto

October 5, 2020

11:10 AM: Christmas told Memphis she thinks that it is in their best interest to keep Nicole over Cody next week. Memphis pointed out that they may not even get that option, but Christmas clarified that she means if Cody doesn’t win the veto. Memphis said that makes sense.

12:02 PM: Feeds went down for the veto ceremony.

12:43 PM: Feeds returned. Cody decided not to use the Power of Veto. Christmas and Tyler remain nominated.

12:46 PM: Christmas told Tyler that that wasn’t fun. He said it’s alright since it happens to the best of them. He added that they made it far. Christmas called them the greatest top six of all time. Tyler agreed, saying that all of them finished top three or better in previous seasons. Tyler let Christmas know that he refuses to throw her under the bus, so people are lying if they say that he is doing that. Christmas said the same to Tyler.

1:01 PM: Enzo spoke to Cody about how he will let Memphis know that he is the pawn next to Christmas if he wins HoH next week. Cody stressed that Memphis has to be on the block or else he could win the veto, take Christmas off, and then he would be going home. Enzo told Cody that Memphis plans to put Christmas and Nicole up, with Nicole being his target, but Christmas would be gone in that scenario.

1:09 PM: Cody, Enzo and Nicole discussed Christmas’ speech at the veto ceremony. Enzo said she is too happy on the block and she is lucky that Tyler is sitting next to her. He mentioned Christmas saying to “make great TV”, which Nicole said she repeated three times. Cody said the greatest TV would be to blindside her and have her blow up.

1:39 PM: Tyler asked Memphis if he thinks that he is going to vote him out. Memphis admitted that he is definitely leaning that way. He explained that it has to do with Tyler being a beast and him being scared of Tyler. Memphis said he feels as though his only way to get to the end is by winning two vetoes. Tyler said he wants to get to the end with Memphis since he feels as though Memphis rubs the jurors the wrong way. Tyler also said he thinks that people want to keep Memphis more than he believes, given that Enzo and Nicole are well liked by the jury. Memphis said he hopes that people vote on game, and those two haven’t done anything. Tyler said it’s the new age and people think differently. Tyler pointed out that he did poorly with the jury two years ago. He said that Memphis would be good with him if he wins the veto, and he feels like Da’Vonne, David and Kevin would never vote for him, so he would be fine with sitting next to Memphis as the end. Memphis said that he would mull it over.

2:48 PM: Tyler asked Nicole if she knows how she is voting. Nicole said she has to talk to Cody and Enzo because she wants to be on the same page as everyone. She assumed that Memphis would keep Christmas. Tyler said Memphis pretty much confirmed that. Nicole said Enzo seems to be thinking about keeping Tyler, so she would do that too. Tyler said that would be awesome since it would then be four on one next week, but he could see why she wouldn’t want to keep him. Nicole said she doesn’t want to keep either of the nominees. Tyler brought up that he sees Christmas and Memphis as a duo whereas he is one person. Nicole agreed. Nicole said she feels more betrayed by Christmas since Tyler didn’t owe her anything, but she doesn’t want to make Cody and Enzo mad at her when she is already alone. Nicole explained that she doesn’t want to team up with Christmas and she has not been a part of Memphis' game moves up to this point, so she will be going with what Cody and Enzo want to do.
