Big Brother 24 Day 24 - Alyssa and Indy are nominated for eviction
July 29, 2022
10:52 AM: Daniel told Monte that he is not mad about what happened last night. He said he thinks he still would have voted the way he did even if he had a heads up about it. Monte said he got the heads up about the vote flip the day of, and he heard some information about Po’s Pack being exposed. As for this week, Monte said they have already had talks about Taylor being the target. Daniel said that is number one for him. Monte ran through the options for nominations and said he has narrowed it down to Alyssa and Indy or Daniel and Kyle. Monte said he doesn’t feel 100% comfortable with putting Daniel and Kyle up but he wants his opinion. Daniel said a girl could win the veto and leave nominations the same to take a big guy out. Monte said he understands and does not want to see either one of them go, so Alyssa and Indy seem to be the ideal option.
11:16 AM: Nicole told Monte she understands that what he did yesterday had to be done for his game, and she wants to work with him moving forward. Nicole said she has Monte’s back and feels that she could have saved Monte with Ameerah had she stayed and won. Looking at this week, Monte said Alyssa and Indy could go up but he wants Nicole’s thoughts on what happens if the veto is not used. Monte talked about Alyssa spilling information. He said he doesn’t want to say he wants Alyssa out since Taylor is the bigger priority. Monte said he is mostly indifferent between Alyssa and Indy if it comes down to that. Nicole said she is 50/50 between Alyssa and Indy. Monte reiterated that Taylor is still his preferred option.
11:40 AM: Monte told Alyssa there is a risk that Nicole and Taylor could win the veto if they go up initially, so he is considering pawns. Alyssa said it worries her that she and Indy would be an easy pick to go up. She mentioned that Monte doesn’t have a lot of options. Alyssa said she can see who the real target is this week and she would like to work with him and repair things moving forward. Monte told Alyssa that even if Nicole is picked to play and wins, she can be convinced to take Alyssa and Indy down. If nominations stay the same, Monte said he believes that Alyssa would have enough votes to stay. Alyssa said she can see Monte’s logic in using them as pawns, so that’s why she wanted to talk to him.
11:52 AM: Monte told Indy that Taylor is talking about putting him up and backdooring him, which leaves him in a tough spot. He said he has to figure out who the best pawns would be in a plan to backdoor Taylor. Monte brought up that Michael has already been up a few times and it’s his birthday this week. As for Jasmine, he said he didn’t want to risk her safety after she passed out last week. Monte said it leaves him with a choice between Daniel and Kyle, and Alyssa and Indy. Given that Daniel is someone who could be a target over him, Monte said he would like to keep Daniel off of the block. Indy said she understands but she would never do this to him. Indy said Joseph and Monte are her people and she would not risk losing them, but she gets it and she respects it. Monte explained that the majority of the house is saying this could be his best option.
12:00 PM: Taylor told Nicole that Monte knows she is coming for him, so he will want to put her up which means that Nicole would have to be on the block as well. Nicole said they need to fight. Nicole added that part of her doesn’t care who goes up as long as it’s not them, after everything that went down last night.
12:20 PM: Brittany told Monte she thinks that she and Michael would be able to convince Alyssa or Indy to join their bestie pair. Michael said he thinks they would have a better shot at getting Indy to do that. Brittany asked if Monte is thinking that Alyssa should go. Monte said they have to get together as an alliance and choose between Alyssa and Nicole as the target. Michael said his only concern with going after Nicole is that Taylor would have to go on the block again, so they need to be careful but they could go that route if Taylor is on board with it. If nominations stay the same, Monte made it clear that Alyssa would have to go.
12:37 PM: Monte spoke to Nicole and Taylor. He brought up that Taylor has been on the block many times and he doesn’t necessarily want to continue that trend. He suggested that they could potentially work together. As for Nicole, Monte said he does not want her on the block. Monte revealed that Alyssa and Indy seem to be the most viable option to go up. Monte explained that both of them seem to be fine with it, and he would like his HoH to be one in which there are no surprises and everyone is aligned.
12:51 PM: Taylor asked Monte if he actually has a target or if he is waiting for the veto competition. Monte said Nicole is an issue and so is Alyssa. Monte said he wants to respect Taylor if she is not comfortable with going on the block in a backdoor scenario to get Nicole out. Taylor said that she has a physical reaction when she sees Daniel and Nicole walking around, and she does not feel comfortable living in the house with them, so she wants Nicole gone. The two agreed that Taylor should not have to be a pawn again after this if it plays out. Monte asked which bestie group Taylor would join. She said Alyssa and Indy. Monte let Taylor know that he is playing it up that she is his target.
1:06 PM: Monte told Terrance that everyone seems to be aligned with putting Alyssa and Indy up to backdoor Taylor. Monte then mentioned that people are not feeling good about Nicole. Terrance said he doesn’t feel comfortable with her and does not trust her.
1:35 PM: Joseph asked Indy if she knows who is going up. Indy said it will probably be her and Alyssa. Joseph asked how she feels about that. Indy insisted that she would never do this to Joseph or Monte. Joseph reassured her that he will do everything he can to make her stay. He asked that Indy not group him in with Monte’s decision. He added that even ifs he goes up, it would not be as a target.
2:42 PM: Monte let Jasmine know that he is going to put Alyssa and Indy up but his target is Taylor. If the nominations remain the same, Monte said he is indifferent. However he did point out that something he only shared with Daniel and Nicole got back to him through Alyssa, suggesting that they are working together. Monte told Jasmine he wants her to have a heads up that Alyssa may become a target based on how things are going.
2:52 PM: Taylor told Brittany the more that she thinks about it, it makes sense that Nicole needs to go this week. Taylor said she would then hitch onto Alyssa and Indy in order to protect the alliance.
3:02 PM: Joseph checked in with Monte to ask who is going up. Monte confirmed that Alyssa and Indy will be going on the block. He also told Joseph about catching Alyssa in an obvious situation where she came to him with something that he had only told Daniel and Nicole.
3:10 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
4:35 PM: Feeds returned. Monte nominated Alyssa and Indy for eviction.
4:51 PM: Monte told Joseph that Jasmine said she is indifferent when it comes to the vote, and said if Alyssa is who everyone wants out then so be it. Monte mentioned that he might be able to get a unanimous vote. Joseph pointed out that Monte made a comment about getting a bigger target out, so he may look like a liar if he doesn’t use the veto. Monte said that’s a good point. Monte said the biggest priority this week is making sure that Taylor feels comfortable. Joseph said Daniel and Nicole are the ones keeping Taylor from being free. He threw Indy’s name into the mix as well.
5:44 PM: Nicole cried to Michael, saying she thinks that she is going to go home this week. Michael told her that there is still a lot of week left, and she cannot go up if the veto isn’t used. Not long after, Kyle made noise from inside of the storage room cabinet. He had been in there the whole time, looking to scare Nicole. She played it off as though he knew that he was there the whole time.
6:12 PM: Jasmine told Daniel she is praying that she doesn’t get picked to play in the veto competition. Daniel said he wants to get picked because he was an option to be put up today. Jasmine asked if there are people in the house that Daniel would not want to see make it to jury. Daniel listed Brittany, Indy and Taylor. He explained that he either doesn’t have their votes or does not know what they would do.
6:19 PM: Indy told Monte she is super confused if is protecting the boys or if he trusts her enough to make a move that helps him achieve his goal. Monte clarified that there was no intention to protect the guys. He expressed that he had limited options and did not want to nominate Nicole and Taylor initially. Monte said this is an opportunity for Indy to play in the veto competition and show that she is an asset. Monte reassured Indy that she is not going home even if the nominations stay the same. Indy brought up that she doesn’t know how she feels about Nicole, adding that she does not trust her.
6:47 PM: Michael told Brittany and Taylor about the storage room incident with Nicole. Michael worried that Nicole would think that he set her up by bringing her in there to have that conversation while Kyle could listen in.
6:48 PM: Kyle told Alyssa about what happened in the storage room. He said Michael kept the conversation going and failed to transition out of it. Kyle said Nicole was embarrassed and tried to play it off as though she knew that he was there the whole time. Kyle admitted that it was the most frustrated he has been all game. Kyle encouraged Alyssa to put the focus on Nicole in order to make her the target. He let her know that Nicole was talking about her this morning by saying that Alyssa spills everything.
7:43 PM: Nicole filled Daniel and Terrance in on what happened in the storage room. She said she thinks that it may have worked out to her advantage because she was talking about how much she trusted Monte and wanted to use this week to gain his trust even more. Nicole admitted that she did not know that Kyle was in there.
