Big Brother 24 Day 26
July 31, 2022
2:57 AM: Michael told Brittany, Joseph, Monte and Taylor that if Taylor has to pick someone from the trio to join rather than choose to join any bestie pair, the Leftovers will be in the same situation as last week with two sets of pairs having two of their members. Michael pointed out that they would be more vulnerable so he wants to talk about it. Taylor said she would select Terrance if that’s the case. Brittany said sometimes she wonders if they will look back on this week and question why they didn’t set themselves up for long term safety by sending Alyssa home and getting Indy to join her and Michael, giving them insulation within every Festie Bestie group. Monte agreed that all bases are covered and they would be protected no matter what happens next week if Indy does end up joining Brittany and Michael. Monte said they would have to convince Daniel not to use the veto. Michael suggested Monte tell them that Alyssa and Jasmine have been coming to him about not having trust in Nicole. Monte said Kyle and Turner are logical and will likely be on board with Alyssa leaving but he would like to talk to them. Monte added that the next part of the plan would be to make it clear that Alyssa, Indy and Jasmine do not trust Nicole, hoping to stop Daniel from using the veto.
3:15 AM: Turner joined the conversation in the HoH room. Michael filled Turner in on how they may end up with two pairs that aren’t insulated if Taylor has to choose between Joseph, Monte and Terrance, so they are considering leaving nominations the same in hope of Indy joining he and Brittany, or choosing Joseph or Monte over Terrance, which would mean that they have no more than one pair that is not insulated. Turner said he thinks that keeping Nicole is the biggest threat to their games. Monte said every group will be covered as long as Indy joins Brittany and Michael, or there will just be one vulnerable group if not. Turner asked if there is any reason they are keeping Indy over Alyssa. Monte said Indy trusts him, Joseph and Michael. Brittany added there is a better chance that Indy would join her and Michael than Alyssa would. Joseph mentioned that Alyssa is a much better player than Indy is. Joseph said Indy is 100% going to think that she is going home if the nominations stay the same. Monte said Plan A is grabbing Daniel and Nicole first thing in the morning to tell them he is hearing things about people not trusting Nicole, suggesting keeping nominations the same. Monte figured that Kyle is a logical person and would listen to their reasoning.
3:49 AM: Joseph told Monte, Taylor and Turner that it’s going to be a pain if Indy joins Jasmine and Turner. Monte figured that Michael would be able to pitch her well enough to get her to join him and Brittany. Joseph said they moved away from this talk last week because Indy is such a wildcard. Joseph suggested asking Indy what she would do and then make the decision based on that. Monte worried that he wont have enough time for all of those talks before the veto ceremony. Joseph thought that they need to have the conversation because it will also give Indy some sense of security that she is staying.
4:09 AM: Kyle joined Monte, Taylor and Turner. Monte explained that if Alyssa goes and Indy can be convinced to join Brittany and Michael, they are safe no matter who wins HoH next week, so they have been discussing that keeping nominations the same may be ideal. Monte said he thinks that he can convince Daniel not to use the veto by telling him about Alyssa, Indy and Jasmine telling him that they do not trust Nicole. Monte added that even if Daniel or Nicole win HoH, there would be nothing that they could do if every pair is insulated. Kyle questioned if they would be wise enough to put Brittany and Michael up if Nicole were to go. Monte said he isn’t sure but it will become more clear what’s going on as people leave. Kyle agreed but said this is going to be tough with Alyssa. He explained that it’s a big move for him and tough. Monte said that’s why they wanted to talk to him. Taylor said this all went down in the last 30 minutes.
4:22 AM: All seven members of the Leftovers met in the HoH room. Michael explained that there is at least a chance of all of them becoming insulated if they evict Alyssa, whereas as many of four of them may be unprotected if they don’t. Monte said they may need to go through with this no matter what Indy says. Kyle said he thinks there are risks both ways. Joseph said he will try to push Indy towards joining Brittany and Michael. Kyle said this is a tough moral decision for him since he already said that he would use the veto. Joseph said he thinks that they should try to protect Brittany and Michael if there is a shot that they can. Monte said he could gain favour from Daniel and Nicole by brining this information to them about the girls not trusting Nicole, and keeping her safe. Joseph said he will try to get Indy on board with joining Brittany and Michael by playing on the fact that Michael can win competitions to keep them safe, and if they end up on the block it will be Brittany who would go home. Kyle said he needs to sit on this for a bit because it's a big decision but he is okay with it if they decide that it is the most logical for the alliance. Michael pointed out that Kyle will not be going home next week even if they go through with this and things don't work out perfectly.
