Big Brother 24 Day 30 - Nicole is evicted; Michael wins HoH
August 4, 2022
10:17 AM: Terrance told Daniel he figured out that Kyle and Turner are working together since they were whispering back and forth late at night. Terrance said that’s Kyle’s connection to that side. Daniel said his own bestie is playing him then.
10:18 AM: Daniel spoke to himself, saying the other side has the numbers and all that he can do is win HoH to make it to jury. Daniel pointed out that he doesn’t have a job when he gets back home so he needs to make jury.
10:39 AM: Nicole guaranteed Daniel and Terrance that there is a Battle Back. She said she will be coming back into the house if she leaves. Nicole said the only thing left for her to do is go to Michael and Turner to say vote to keep her and then she will have their backs even if she leaves and returns through the Battle Back.
10:51 AM: Indy told Alyssa that they can vote to keep Nicole and justify it by saying that Nicole’s best friend saved them. Indy said Terrance is for sure with them and now she needs Alyssa to talk to Kyle. Indy wants Alyssa to explain to Kyle that if Nicole leaves, Daniel becomes the next target and therefore Kyle will have to go on the block. Alyssa said Monte is going to send Nicole home even if they force a tie. Indy argued that it’s still worth a shot since they have the excuse of voting for Nicole since Daniel saved them.
11:01 AM: Indy told Jasmine and Terrance she is thinking that they should still vote to evict Taylor. Indy said Alyssa needs to tell Kyle to do the same because he will be on the block with Daniel next week if not. Jasmine mentioned that Joseph is voting to evict Nicole. Indy said it doesn’t matter since they need Kyle, not Joseph.
11:05 AM: Nicole told Alyssa she was being honest when she said that she would fight for Alyssa, Indy and Jasmine. Nicole said she doesn’t have the numbers because the people who said they had her back don’t, and they are still lying to her and saying that she is staying. Nicole claimed that she has not lied to a single person and she has not said anything negative about Taylor.
11:18 AM: When Alyssa and Indy talked to Michael about the vote, he said that he does not want to be on the wrong side of it. Michael added that if people are voting to evict Nicole, that’s what he is going to do. Indy said they should be able to vote how they want. Michael said he will not hold anyone’s vote against them.
11:39 AM: Alyssa said Nicole keeps telling her that she has played an honest game but she has lied to her multiple times. Joseph said Nicole told him not to trust Alyssa, Indy, or Jasmine. Alyssa said she doesn’t trust Nicole but does not know what to say to Indy. Alyssa explained that it is not best for her game to keep Nicole at this point.
11:46 AM: Alyssa told Jasmine that they will be on the wrong side of the vote if they don’t vote to evict Nicole. Jasmine said she is fine with evicting her but there will be hell to pay with Daniel.
11:48 AM: Jasmine asked Michael if the vote has changed. He said he thinks so. Jasmine agreed. She again said Daniel will wreak havoc. Alyssa said the whole house will be voting Nicole out, so she is more scared of Indy at this point. Michael brought up that Indy cant nominate Alyssa anyway.
11:50 AM: Indy told Alyssa, Jasmine, Joseph and Michael that Taylor will win the game if she stays. She also feared that she would go home if Taylor is in the house, as Taylor will pair up with her and Alyssa, and then they will be targeted.
11:55 AM: Michael told Brittany that Nicole leaving seems to be a done deal. He told her that Alyssa and Jasmine are on board with it but Indy is not. They discussed that Daniel and Nicole seem to know at this point.
11:58 AM: Feeds went down for an HoH lockdown.
1:21 PM: Feeds returned.
1:34 PM: Taylor told Kyle and Monte that Jasmine was telling her that she is voting to keep her and then Nicole came into the room and start coming at Jasmine, asking why she is going home. Taylor worried that something was up because it seemed planned. Kyle reassured Taylor that she has his vote. Monte said Joseph is voting with her as well, and he will break the tie in her favour if need be but Terrance has been claiming that he will keep Taylor too. Taylor said even Indy has come to her to say that she is keeping her at this point.
2:09 PM: Daniel told Joseph that he has been lied to all week. He said they cannot split the check, and everyone is handing it to Michael or Monte. Daniel acknowledged that he will be going home next.
2:12 PM: Michael walked in and Daniel told him that he is winning the game. Daniel went on to say that Michael is the best player, he is excited for him, and he will vote for him if he makes it to jury. Daniel said he knows it’s most likely going to be him on his own for the vote, so he wants everyone to stop lying to him.
2:26 PM: Indy told Jasmine that they cannot have a split vote at this point, seeing as Nicole is screaming at all of them. Indy suggested that they go with the house.
2:32 PM: Nicole asked Indy and Jasmine if they are going to vote for her or go with the majority. Jasmine questioned how she knows that it’s the majority. Nicole pointed out that the people who are telling her they are voting for her are the same ones she is hearing are voting her out from others. Jasmine told her not to stress since it’s not over yet.
2:45 PM: Kyle told Daniel that the vote seems to be switching so he is going to go in that direction. Daniel told him to play for himself. He added that everyone there are a bunch of sheep following Joseph and Monte. Daniel said that Michael and Monte will be in the final two. Kyle encouraged Daniel to keep fighting but Daniel said he knows that he is gone next week unless he wins HoH. He said Kyle will vote him out if the Festie Bestie twist ends. Daniel argued that the show is going to suck since everyone is going with the house.
2:57 PM: Nicole apologized to Alyssa and Indy, saying she didn’t tell Daniel to talk to anyone. Indy said she hopes that he doesn’t scream at her.
3:14 PM: Nicole told Michael she has heard where he and Brittany are voting but she is not mad about it and it’s okay. Nicole clarified that Daniel is doing what he is doing on his own accord, and it’s not helping either of them at this point. Nicole then said she is going to share some information that she has only told Terrance. She said Monte is an Alpha, Jasmine’s husband is an Alpha, and Taylor is in a sorority that is the sister sorority of the Alphas. Nicole warned Michael that those three will go far.
6:44 PM: By a vote of 9-1, Nicole was evicted from the Big Brother house.
6:57 PM: Taylor chose to join the Festie Bestie pair of Alyssa and Indy.
8:58 PM: Feeds returned. Michael is the new HoH.
9:05 PM: Brittany and Michael celebrated that they may have just made it to jury. Michael said he is thinking that he will backdoor Daniel. As for the initial nominees, he mentioned that the options are either Jasmine and Turner or Joseph, Monte and Terrance. Michael said he does not want to put Taylor up for a fourth time. Michael thought he could tell the group that the logic behind nominating the three guys is that he needs someone to compete against Daniel in the event that he gets picked. If Jasmine and Turner were to go up and Jasmine cannot compete, Daniel could then have a 50/50 shot at winning the veto. Michael hoped to get through the week without nominating Alyssa, Indy and Jasmine.
9:13 PM: Michael let Taylor know that he would like to backdoor Daniel. He told her about his options for pawns. They agreed that it could work out well if Michael can get out of the week without nominating any girls.
9:26 PM: Kyle and Monte talked about how it may be a backdoor this week. Monte said if Michael has to put his group up, that’s fine but they will just have to figure out how to talk Terrance off of the ledge.
9:35 PM: Michael told Kyle that he would like to speak to Daniel to see where his head is at. Michael pointed out that Daniel’s behaviour today was concerning but he does not want to cut off their options. Michael said he wants to talk to Joseph and Monte about going up initially. Kyle said he is good with whatever, including if he has to go up. Michael assured Kyle that he and Daniel would not be the initial nominees. Kyle said he doesn’t think it’s likely that people will take the opportunity to get him out over Daniel, but he is running through those scenarios to be sure.
10:01 PM: Turner talked to Michael about potentially having to choose have-nots. He said he it would be messed up to pick Alyssa and Indy again, he cannot pick Brittany and Michael, and he is not going to pick himself, so that only leaves Daniel’s group and Joseph’s group. Michael said his initial thought was that he doesn’t want Daniel in the have-not room because he will be more in the know in terms of the traffic in and out of the HoH room then. As for nominations, Turner said he could go up or Taylor could again. Michael said he does not want to do that to Taylor again.
10:33 PM: Indy spoke to the cameras and said that the house is now against Daniel. She was happy to know that Taylor doesn’t seem to be the target, now that Taylor is her Festie Bestie.
1:35 AM: Joseph and Monte agreed that they do not want Terrance to be the worst case scenario for this week. They talked about how Alyssa and Indy going up is the best strategic move but Joseph said he doesn’t want the alliance to feel like they are running the show and scared to touch the block. Monte added that Taylor would then have to go up again. They agreed that they are fine with going on the block but they can bring up the logic behind other options. Joseph pointed out that Kyle using the veto to override Daniel to save them would be screaming alliance whereas Kyle doing that to save Alyssa is screaming love. They both felt that going on the block would build further trust between them and the others in the Leftovers.
2:13 AM: Michael got his HoH room.
3:05 AM: Michael asked Jasmine if there is anyone she would like to see go up. Jasmine said she didn’t have a target before today but now she would have to say Daniel. Jasmine added that she will respect Michael’s HoH and do whatever he wants her to do. Michael said if he were to go after Daniel, a backdoor would be best. He asked how Jasmine would feel about being a pawn. Jasmine said she wouldn’t personally want to go on the block but she would need to know the plan and see how her Festie Bestie feels as well. Jasmine told Michael that putting someone up who has already been on the block could result in less blood. Michael said he has been up twice already so he isn’t sure if he wants to do that. Michael said he would be leaning against using Jasmine as a pawn because she wouldn’t be medically cleared for every competition yet.
3:34 AM: Kyle told Michael he is running through scenarios, trying to figure out how he would possibly get voted out if he is up next to Daniel. Kyle said he cannot get over the fact that Joseph, Monte and Taylor have strong connections with Indy, Terrance and Jasmine. Kyle said if Daniel were to go, the Leftovers will have seven with just four others remaining in Alyssa, Indy, Jasmine and Terrance. At that point, Kyle figures that those four will be looked at as opportunities rather than threats. Kyle explained that he thinks Monte, Joseph and Taylor will see Terrance, Indy and Jasmine as three easy people and they share common purposes for being in this game. He worried that Taylor will run through every scenario and take him out. Kyle said it looks very similar to the Cookout but with more diverse backgrounds. Michael said he cannot lose Kyle but he does not see Taylor voting to keep Daniel after all of this. Kyle clarified that he feels good but he had to run through any scenarios in which he could potentially go home. Kyle said the way to avoid that would be to send Indy or Jasmine out. Michael questioned where Kyle sees Taylor being close with those people. Kyle said she is close to Terrance and then within the alliance she is closest with Joseph and Monte.
3:45 AM: The Leftovers minus Joseph met up in the HoH room. They discussed how to best execute getting Daniel out. They agreed on a backdoor. Turner said he is willing to go up, but Michael said his one concern with that is if Jasmine isn’t cleared to compete. Monte said he talked to Joseph and if their three go up, they have a good shot at winning even if Daniel and Kyle are picked to play. Monte said that option could be good for the optics of it as well. If Daniel and Kyle were to win veto, Monte said they could either get Terrance out or have it used and take Alyssa out. Monte revealed that he and Joseph spoke to Indy and she is trying to get something started with them, Jasmine and Terrance. Monte suggested that they could possibly be influenced to go after Alyssa next. Kyle said it would be easy for him not to give his best effort if he is picked to compete. Michael jokingly said sorry to Turner cause he guesses that he is not putting him up, implying that the Joseph, Monte, Terrance option is the most likely at the moment.
