Big Brother 24 Day 43 - Indy campaigns
August 17, 2022
1:12 PM: Indy checked in with Brittany and Michael to see if everything is all good. They confirmed that it is. Indy said she doesn’t want to freak out and she really trusts them. She suggested that she will be good as long as she still has them, Alyssa, Jasmine and Joseph.
1:15 PM: Michael told Brittany he floated the idea of weighing their options if the alliance is concerned that Terrance is stronger than Indy in mental competitions, yet the idea was immediately shot down. Michael thinks that Terrance would be more likely to win a double eviction competition than Indy would be. He said both Joseph and Taylor didn’t want to explore keeping Indy. Michael revealed that he would like to give Indy a sympathy vote. Looking ahead, the two pondered their next move. They agreed that Kyle winning and taking a shot at the Leftovers may be the best case scenario, though Brittany later said that staying on track and getting Jasmine out could be the better option.
1:34 PM: Michael told Joseph and Taylor that Indy may be freaking out a little bit, as she approached them in the storage room to make sure that everything is okay since people were up late last night. Joseph and Taylor said that’s because Jasmine keeps talking about everyone staying up late. Michael asked if they are going to tell Indy that she is going. Joseph said it cannot happen until after he and Taylor are no longer tethered.
1:49 PM: Jasmine told Brittany she is very torn and will need her help this week. Jasmine explained that she doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of the vote. Brittany asked where Alyssa stands. Jasmine said she wants to keep Indy at the moment. Jasmine said Indy does not deserve to be blindsided, so she would like to be able to have a conversation with her if she does not have the votes. Brittany said she is still considering all options as there are arguments for each of them.
1:59 PM: Terrance told Monte he feels confident with him, Alyssa, Brittany, Kyle, Michael and Turner, which would be enough votes to keep him in the house. Monte said that everyone will want to go with the house, so if he can get Jasmine secured then the rest are likely to jump on board.
2:13 PM: Brittany let Indy know that people she is saying are for sure keeping her have came up to her and expressed doubt. Brittany implied that Alyssa, Jasmine and Joseph are not locked in. Indy thanked Brittany for letting her know. Brittany said Alyssa and Jasmine are claiming that they are still deciding what to do even though they are telling Indy that they have got her back 100%. Indy said she would like to have Brittany’s vote even if they are flipping. Brittany said she needs to figure out what everyone is doing. She said she does not know who to believe. Indy said she will talk to Alyssa and Jasmine, and then speak to Joseph once his punishment ends.
3:05 PM: Kyle told Jasmine that while Terrance voted him out, he doesn’t think he would have done it if he didn’t think that he was going to be safe. On the other hand, he said Indy continues to tell him and Alyssa that their relationship is bad for her game. Jasmine said she would understand why Kyle would want to keep Terrance. Jasmine wondered if she should give Indy a sympathy vote since she would be the type to hold it against you if you vote her out. Both agreed that Terrance is likely to have the votes to stay.
3:16 PM: Indy asked Alyssa and Brittany how they are feeling about the vote. Alyssa said she hasn’t heard anything about anyone trying to keep Terrance over Indy. Brittany said she is undecided since Jasmine said that she isn’t sure what she is doing, which was alarming to her. Indy said she needs Alyssa, Brittany, Jasmine and Michael in order to force a tie, and then Taylor has told her that she would keep her in that case. Indy said they cannot lose another girl.
3:23 PM: Jasmine let Terrance know that she will be voting to keep him. She said she is going to have to break it to Indy tomorrow.
3:24 PM: Alyssa and Brittany agreed that Indy is most likely going to be leaving this week. Alyssa said that voting Terrance out for a second time will not be good for her game if he is going to stay anyway. Brittany told Alyssa she feels as though Jasmine was trying to play her earlier, perhaps setting her up to take the heat for a decision that all of them are making.
3:28 PM: Indy brought Jasmine in to talk with Alyssa and Brittany. Jasmine said she is currently voting to keep her but she needs to talk to people and does not have a definite answer at the moment. Alyssa explained that voting to evict Terrance again would not be good for her game if he stays. Indy said she thought that the girls had each other’s backs so she is surprised by this. Indy said she wants one of them, Taylor or Michael to win. Brittany asked if she has any other alliances. Indy said no. Indy stressed that she is a number for the girls.
3:44 PM: Michael joined the girls. He said he will hear Terrance out but he does not think that he will want Terrance to stay over Indy. Indy said she will respect their decisions but she really hopes that they will keep her. Indy added that she would do whatever she could to keep them if they were on the block.
3:52 PM: Michael told Jasmine he gets the sense that the five votes Indy thinks she has are not as locked in as she thinks. Jasmine said two people have told her that they are not keeping Indy. Michael said he does not want her to go out unanimously, and he is willing to be the one who votes to keep her. Jasmine said she has told both Indy and Terrance that she is keeping them. She said Indy is loyal and would not go after either of them. Michael said he is leaning towards voting to keep Indy as she has a piece of his heart. Jasmine said she thinks the decision is going to come down to her loyalty even if she ends up being the one vote that get singled out.
3:57 PM: Kyle told Indy that he loves her and cares about her but he is not yet sure which way he is going to be voting.
4:16 PM: Michael told Brittany he thinks that the girls are voting to evict Indy. Brittany said Alyssa told her that she is but Jasmine has not yet said anything. Michael said he thinks he is going to vote to keep Indy. Brittany said she repeatedly asked if there are any other alliances going on, checking to see if they would expose the Five Swatters, yet they all said no. Brittany debated bringing it up in her goodbye message.
4:26 PM: Jasmine told Terrance that some people seem to be keeping him and some seem to be keeping Indy. Jasmine reiterated that Terrance has her vote right now. She said she would let him know if anything were to change in that regard.
4:30 PM: Taylor mentioned to Joseph that someone who shouldn’t be going home is going to be leaving, referring to how it should be Alyssa going this week. Joseph agreed. He said it upsets more the more that he thinks about it, so he is trying to ignore it.
4:30 PM: Indy told Jasmine she spoke to everyone and the only one she thinks is 100% voting her out is Turner.
5:01 PM: Indy asked Monte where his head is at. Monte said he hasn’t had a chance to catch up with Taylor yet but he thinks that she wants to keep Indy. Monte said he is fine with going that direction if the house is doing so. Indy said Taylor told her that she would keep her in the event of a tie. Indy told Monte that she will have his back if she stays.
5:09 PM: Indy and Jasmine agreed that they really trust Michael. Indy asked if Alyssa has said anything yet. Jasmine said they were going to talk earlier but people were around so they didn’t get the chance to yet.
5:54 PM: After Joseph and Taylor’s punishment ended, Indy asked Joseph if he is going to vote to keep her. Joseph said he is but he needs to check in with the house since you know how stupid they are.
6:00 PM: Brittany updated Taylor on her talks with Jasmine and the girls. Taylor said this week is not going how it was supposed to. She pointed out that Alyssa broke the cardinal rule of Big Brother. Taylor figures that if she had done that, it would have been the easiest out in the world. Brittany said Indy knows that this is not what Taylor wanted as she told her that Taylor did not intend for this to happen.
6:05 PM: Feeds went down for the halfway party.
