Big Brother 24 Day 45 - Both sets of nominations are made
August 19, 2022
10:43 AM: Jasmine checked in with Michael to see if she would be going on the block. Michael confirmed that he is leaning that way. He explained that everyone seems on board with targeting Monte this week but Jasmine has not yet been on the block whereas Taylor has multiple times.
11:15 AM: Michael filled Brittany, Monte and Taylor in on his talk with Jasmine. Brittany said that the jury house will never have been so juicy, with Indy in there followed by her two friends, Alyssa and Jasmine, who she told would be the next to go if they sent her out to protect people who will evict her.
11:39 AM: Kyle told Alyssa about the Leftovers alliance, explaining how it formed for the Ameerah vote. He listed off all seven members, telling her that she was the target the week that he and Daniel used the veto, and she once again was the target last week when he didn’t use the veto. Kyle explained that if he and Joseph are on the block and Turner wins the veto, he will use it on Joseph and then the two of them will be nominated next to each other. Kyle wondered if he should tell Terrance everything so that he would put Joseph and Turner up instead. Kyle said they could then move forward with Brittany, Michael and Terrance. Alyssa was on board with the plan.
12:23 PM: Kyle filled Terrance in on the formation of the Leftovers. He said that they have been running the game since the Ameerah vote. Kyle talked about how Terrance was Taylor’s initial target last week, then it shifted to Indy and eventually to Alyssa but he did not use the veto, resulting in him being on the outs. Kyle suggested that Monte has been running the show with Joseph as his wingman, and Turner having some involvement as well. Kyle stated that he, Brittany and Michael are fed up with the Joseph and Monte show, and Michael said right before the competition that he is looking to take a big shot. Kyle brought up the idea of the two of them working with Alyssa, Brittany and Michael going forward. Kyle said his concern is that Turner would use the veto on Joseph, then he and Alyssa would go up and he might be the one going home. For that reason, Kyle said the only way to guarantee things is by nominating Joseph and Turner next to each other, and then Joseph will go unless he wins the veto. Terrance said that is what he is going to do. If Joseph wins the veto, Terrance said he would prefer to keep Kyle over Turner since he doesn’t know how Turner is going to move at this point. Kyle said Turner is trustworthy but he is more loyal to the alliance than he is to Terrance at this point.
12:49 PM: Turner checked in with Terrance. He said it probably makes sense not to use Alyssa as a pawn, choosing instead to put Joseph and Kyle up next to each other. Turner added that one of them will win the veto and one of them will go home, and then he, Alyssa and Terrance can chill if that is still the plan. Terrance hesitated and said everyone is coming at him with their stories, but it is still the plan. Turner pointed out that when someone is in a compromised position, they will say anything. He asked if anyone has thrown out his name for no apparent reason. Terrance said no.
12:58 PM: Terrance implied to Joseph that Kyle is his target. Joseph said Kyle is insulated and therefore will not leave if he is nominated next to him. If Alyssa and Kyle are next to each other, Joseph said that he and Turner definitely will not send Alyssa home. As for the others, Joseph said he could see Monte still being there after this week because he seemed very comfortable the last time that Michael had him on the block. He also said Taylor wanted to take that shot and was not happy about Kyle not using the veto, though Kyle had already told Terrance that Taylor’s reaction was planned and she had warned him ahead of time about what she was going to say following the veto ceremony.
1:04 PM: Feeds went down for the first nomination ceremony.
2:20 PM: Feeds returned. Michael nominated Jasmine and Monte for eviction.
2:34 PM: Terrance told Alyssa and Kyle that Joseph and Turner are panicking. Terrance said he wonders if the others just did their nomination ceremony and the outdoor one is about to start. Kyle figured that would be the case.
3:09 PM: Kyle asked Alyssa what she thinks is going to happen. Alyssa said she thinks that Joseph and Turner will be nominated. Both hoped that Michael would get Monte out this week but they don’t expect it to happen. Kyle said Michael’s game is perfect since he has a relationship with every person in the house, the gave Indy a vote, and he has won six competitions. Kyle let Alyssa know that Joseph was pushing the hardest to get her out, and he would report back to the HoH room with everything that Alyssa and the others were saying. Kyle fears that Brittany, Michael, Monte and Taylor will form a tight alliance during their time away from everyone else this week.
3:29 PM: Feeds went down for the second nomination ceremony.
4:18 PM: Feeds returned. Terrance nominated Joseph and Turner for eviction.
4:47 PM: Terrance let Turner know that he is absolutely not his target this week. Turner brought up that he put Terrance up and kept him safe, so they will be even if Terrance keeps him safe. Terrance said that’s his goal. Terrance mentioned that it will be four on one against Joseph in the veto competition.
4:50 PM: Terrance told Joseph that the move he made was strategic in order to make people feel comfortable for now. He stated that targeting Kyle is the ultimate move. Joseph asked what Terrance would do if he were to win the veto. Terrance said he would take Joseph down. Terrance said he was thrown off when Joseph shifted away from Indy for him. Joseph said he always knew that Indy’s loyalty was to the girls, and she confirmed that to be the case when he confronted her.
5:59 PM: Taylor told Brittany she is so afraid of the doors opening and Joseph does not come walking through. She said that she would like for him to win the veto. Brittany said Joseph’s social game is phenomenal and he is close with Turner who she thinks will have an impact this week.
6:13 PM: Taylor wondered if Turner could possibly be targeted. Michael said he wouldn’t know why Terrance would do that but Turner did put him on the block. Taylor said that’s why she is thinking that he may feel as though he cannot control Turner.
6:52 PM: Joseph told Turner that he is not going to try to send him or Kyle home. Turner said he will not allow himself to get pitted against Joseph. Joseph said he will not be campaigning even though he is the target. Turner said he will campaign for himself but not against Joseph.
8:05 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
11:13 PM: Feeds returned. Brittany won the Power of Veto.
11:15 PM: In the HoH room, Michael celebrated that Brittany won the veto. He said he could have had his fifth veto but that’s okay since the goal was defence and not offence. Michael said he is very proud of Brittany for getting a solo comp win.
11:17 PM: Brittany and Michael celebrated. Michael said his thoughts today were if they get rid of Jasmine and the others get rid of Alyssa, they are still Leftovers strong. If they get rid of Jasmine and then something crazy happens outside, they agreed that the attention would then shift to Kyle and Turner. Brittany said Terrance would be happy to get Joseph out, and it’s possible that Kyle could get Alyssa on board with helping him. Michael said he would feel good with Brittany, Kyle and Taylor winning HoH next if Alyssa and Jasmine are gone. Brittany pointed out that Monte is trusting them in a vulnerable position this week, so she would hope that he would be good for one more week. They agreed that they need to use this week to build with Monte and Taylor. Michael mentioned that Taylor was pushing for the four of them plus Joseph to have something, so they could agree to that and all that they need to do is survive next week. They agreed that Joseph leaving this week would be the best case scenario. Michael asked Brittany if she is thinking of keeping nominations the same. Brittany said for sure. They talked about bringing in Monte and Taylor to run through scenarios like they just did. Michael said best case scenario is Jasmine leaves as well as one of the Leftovers on the other side, then they will come off as more trustworthy for sticking to the plan.
11:51 PM: Michael told Monte that they should meet with Brittany and Taylor to run scenarios in the event that one of their own does not come back at the end of the week. Monte said that would be awfully concerning if that’s the case and they had any say in it. If two alliance members were on the block and the did not control the veto, Monte said it is what it is. Outside of that, he said they will need to talk if things didn’t play out how they should have.
