Big Brother 24 Day 49 - Outside feeds return
August 23, 2022
12:49 PM: Feeds returned after being down for 1 hour 26 minutes.
1:39 PM: Brittany told Michael that the backlash from voting Monte out would be so much more than the backlash from voting Jasmine out. She mentioned that only Alyssa and Terrance would be mad about Jasmine going. Michael pointed out that Terrance can’t compete and Alyssa will probably go after Monte. Brittany worried that nobody is going to want to wast their HoH on Terrance, so he will end up in the end. Michael wondered if they would be able to get people on board with nominating Alyssa and Terrance if Alyssa survives through no fault of the Leftovers, and then they could hold firm on targeting Terrance first. Michael talked about how he has sent Terrance’s two best friends home now. They expressed concern over Monte keeping Terrance around for the good of his own game. Michael thought that phrasing it that Terrance had a week to bond with Joseph, Kyle and Turner, which may lead to them thinking that there is benefit in dragging him along.
5:30 PM: Feeds returned after being down for 1 hour 54 minutes.
5:35 PM: Brittany and Michael discussed when would be the best time to let Jasmine know that she does not have the votes. Brittany said Wednesday evening is likely best, though she does not know how many more lying conversations she should have if Jasmine approaches her prior to that. Brittany reiterated that Jasmine needs to go, adding that it may have been possible to keep her if she was even an inkling more trustworthy than she is.
5:50 PM: Feeds turned on in the backyard for the first time in days. We found out that Terrance used the Power of Veto on Turner. He then nominated Kyle as the replacement nominee. A temporary cover was placed over the backyard earlier in the day.
6:55 PM: Joseph pleaded his case to Terrance, pitching that he will repay the debt if Terrance keeps him this week. Joseph stressed that he will do so even if it costs him his own game. Joseph said Turner is trustworthy and will keep him.
7:28 PM: Joseph told Terrance that Alyssa said to him that she respects everything he did as a player, and she feels more betrayed by Kyle than she does by him. Joseph thinks there is a chance that he could get her vote for that reason. Joseph explained that he was willing to go home for Kyle and Turner at the start of the week, which is the same thing that he will do for Alyssa and Terrance next week. Joseph called Kyle a self-preserving player who immediately betrayed them by exposing the Leftovers. Joseph said he is going to ensure Alyssa, Terrance and Turner that he will go home if Brittany, Monte or Taylor win HoH. Joseph added that he will never forgive Michael for what he did by putting him through this after telling him he had his back. Joseph talked about how the people inside will now be locked in with each other, so it’s a new game. He argued that Alyssa, Terrance and Turner would have to pick him in order for him to stay, as opposed to the Leftovers who had no choice but to work together due to other alliances in the house. Terrance said he would need Joseph to get Turner to flip, which Joseph said he will do.
7:40 PM: After Joseph left, Terrance looked at the photo of his wife and said “I need your help, babe”.
7:59 PM: Alyssa and Terrance agreed it would be great if Monte weren’t in the house once they return. Terrance said Michael should take the shot since the shot is being taken outside. Terrance said Alyssa, Kyle or whoever wins HoH can put Michael and Taylor on the block. Alyssa asked if they are going to act like they don’t know about the Leftovers or if they should say that Joseph spilled the beans on his way out. Terrance said he isn’t sure. The two discussed Joseph’s pitch. Terrance said Joseph cannot protect them. Alyssa said he would never pick them over whoever is left in the house.
9:34 PM: Kyle told Alyssa that she is on one tonight. Alyssa said she is bored and not happy since this sucks. Kyle questioned if there was anything happening. Alyssa told him not to be paranoid. She encouraged Kyle to chill since Terrance said he was getting irritated by Joseph bothering him.
11:51 PM: Alyssa pointed out to Kyle and Turner that Joseph said Brittany, Michael and Taylor wanted him to join them as a four and he said no, but he told them that he would never say no to an alliance. Alyssa said Joseph is in with those three and he is friends with Monte, so he is locked in with everyone left in the house. Kyle said he was praying they could see that Joseph was still playing the game since he is doing exactly what he did when lying to the Five Swatters.
11:53 PM: Alyssa, Kyle and Turner joined Terrance. Alyssa told Terrance about Joseph telling them that Brittany, Michael and Taylor approached him about a four person alliance. Kyle said he was trying to prove that those three were a thing by saying that but all he did was incriminate himself. Alyssa said Joseph would never want to work with them when he has all of those people. Turner said Jasmine would be another number for them if she wins the veto. Kyle said he prays that happens. Alyssa said it would give them a 5-3 advantage. Terrance said Michael is an easy backdoor next week since he cannot compete for HoH. Kyle mentioned nominating Monte and Taylor to backdoor Michael.
11:56 PM: Kyle asked Alyssa, Terrance and Turner if they should expose what happened outside upon reentering the house. Terrance said they can say he made the decision he made and had all of the power since he won the veto too. Alyssa said she doesn’t think she wants to go in and say she knows about their alliance. Terrance said he will go in there and be quiet like usual. Kyle said it will look suspicious if the two of them are now super tight. Turner said they are going to try to pry as much information as possible from him and Kyle. Kyle said they have to be on the same page and say Alyssa and Terrance still don’t know about the Leftovers. They discussed saying that Kyle was nominated from the beginning rather than letting them know that Turner was originally on the block. They wondered if Joseph would try to do one on ones again tomorrow. Turner said Joseph is banking on flipping him and then having Terrance break the tie in his favour.
12:31 AM: Monte told Brittany he cannot imagine Kyle and Turner coming back in and admitting that they kept Alyssa over Joseph, since they can’t think that they would be fine with that. They discussed that it’s hard to plan for anything since they have no idea what is happening outside. Brittany said they are one week away from the alliance making it to seven together. Monte said it would be justice if Alyssa and Jasmine were sent to face Indy after voting her out.
