Big Brother 24 Day 51 - Turner wins HoH
August 25, 2022
7:11 PM: Taylor asked Kyle who the nominations were. Kyle said it was Joseph and Turner initially, and then Terrance won the veto and put him up. Kyle said he thinks that was the plan the whole time.
7:15 PM: Alyssa told Brittany she assumed Jasmine would have been the one to go since she is not close with Michael. Alyssa brought up Joseph continually saying that it would be a new game and that he wouldn’t even know the people inside anymore.
7:21 PM: Michael asked Alyssa if it was a 2-0 vote outside. Alyssa confirmed that it was. Brittany and Michael said that theirs was as well.
7:39 PM: Alyssa asked Taylor how she is doing since it must not be easy not getting to say bye to Joseph. Taylor said that is the hardest part of what happened.
7:47 PM: Turner told Monte he did not say anything about the Leftovers last week. He said Terrance obviously put Joseph up for a reason, and Alyssa was going to vote to keep Kyle, so he had to go with it since there was nothing that he could do. Monte said Turner’s vote made the most sense. Turner said he and Kyle are still on board with the Leftovers if everyone else is. Monte said he would nominate Alyssa and Terrance if he wins.
8:01 PM: Michael and Taylor discussed that Joseph and Turner were the nominations outside. Michael figured that Kyle was the target. Taylor agreed. She said now Alyssa and Terrance can be the nominations rather than anything else based on how things played out.
8:05 PM: Feeds went down for the HoH competition.
9:54 PM: Feeds returned. Turner is the new HoH.
10:30 PM: Turner told Brittany that he put her up as a pawn during his last HoH. He said that would not have happened if not for how the pawn situation played out. Brittany thanked him.
10:36 PM: Turner told Michael that he used him and Brittany as a pawn last time but that is not going to happen again in a million years. He said he sat outside and thought about how much he missed Michael and Brittany, and he appreciates them. He said they have nothing to worry about.
2:38 AM: Turner received his HoH room.
3:50 AM: Turner told Kyle he needs his help in figuring this out since he is taking him to the final two. Kyle said it’s 4-4 if they stick to the After Party, which he thinks that they should do. Turner said Monte came to him right after they came in and asked if the Pound is still a thing, meaning he was concerned if he is still safe with them without Joseph. Turner said the Leftovers have kept them safe for so long that it has been worry free Big Brother. He suggested that it could be 4 on 4 now or 3 on 3 later with them and Monte going up against Brittany, Michael and Taylor, which are the same odds. Turner questioned if they could actually trust Alyssa and Terrance to win next week. Kyle said it would be him as well, and his gut is saying that Brittany and Michael were freaking out that Turner won, and he thinks the four Leftovers who were inside are together. Turner mentioned they could tell Monte that Joseph said he had something with Brittany, Michael and Taylor, and see his reaction. Kyle said maybe there is a way to get Monte back on their side while still taking a shot at one of the Leftovers. Kyle suggested that Brittany, Michael, Monte and Taylor are their biggest threats competition wise, and they will be smart enough to come after them. He said the ideal scenario would be to take Michael out and bring Monte in closer to them. Turner agreed it would be ideal but thought it would be tough to pull off. Kyle said he has no reason to distrust Monte. Kyle asked which way Turner is leaning. He said he is right in the middle since it would be crazy to put their lives in the hands of Alyssa and Terrance. Kyle stressed that Brittany, Michael and Taylor would put he and Turner up if they win. If Monte realizes that those three are the biggest threat, Kyle said they should take that shot. Kyle wanted Turner to tell Monte that Joseph said they are playing the house.
4:14 AM: Terrance told Turner that while he and Michael were watching the competition, Michael said “come on, Monte. You have got to win”. Turner told Terrance he thinks that they are all on the same page.
4:18 AM: Turner told Alyssa he is trying to figure out who to put up and it will probably come down to what he decides five minutes beforehand. He listed off the BroChella houseguests as his options. Alyssa said that sounds great to her. She said she is so proud of Turner. Alyssa told Turner that he is one of the best friends she has ever had.
4:22 AM: Turner told Brittany that out of everyone in their group, he trusts her a lot. Brittany said she feels the exact same way. Turner said he doesn’t want there to be a gap between the Leftovers and the Leftovers who were shoved outside. Brittany said she feels the same way. Turner said there is no world where he is breaking up the Leftovers, as he wants it to be an easy two weeks. Turner asked if the Leftovers are still good for final six. Brittany said she still feels strongly about while they all got together in the first place. Turner admitted that it was a scary world outside when you were not HoH. Brittany asked about Turner going up. He said he thinks Terrance was trying to get the most information possible. Turner mentioned he had to promise people safety outside, which he is for sure going to go back on. He said that means he is going to lose two jury votes since he can tell Alyssa and Terrance are not expecting to go up. Turner asked that he not be the first to go at final six. Turner assured Brittany that she and Michael are fine. Turner said he hopes his allegiance is proven by putting Alyssa and Terrance up even if they hear about the promises that he had to make.
4:33 AM: Turner let Monte know that last week was very messy and they were fighting for their lives. Turner said he needs to run some things by Monte that Joseph said. The two agreed that they are still good with The Pound. Turner said Joseph told him that when he was chained to Taylor he was asked by her to be in an alliance with Brittany and Michael. Monte said the week that Taylor was HoH, they were getting sense that Kyle didn’t want to backdoor Alyssa. Monte said Brittany and Michael were being direct with Taylor that Alyssa should go but they were not being direct with Kyle about it. Monte said this past week the three of them sat him down and told him the same thing that Joseph said to Turner. Monte said they kept talking about how Kyle and Turner wanted Alyssa to stay even though it would have been better for her to go. Monte said they told him that Kyle and Turner are the ones to go after first once they get down to seven. Monte said there are things they could do to get ahead of that, which Turner agreed with. Monte said he could tell after Taylor’s HoH week that Brittany and Michael were playing both side. Turner said Kyle told him the same thing. Turner asked which direction they should go in since the only people whose opinions he cares about are Monte’s and Kyle’s. Monte said he isn’t sure where Terrance’s head is at. Turner said he knows Terrance wants Michael out but Taylor and Monte would be on his radar as well. Monte said he doesn’t think the other members of the Leftovers want to take a shot early, as they only would have had there been some egregious reason why Joseph left. Monte talked about getting Terrance out, then Michael can win HoH and take Alyssa out, leaving him unable to play the following week. Turner said that’s exactly what he was thinking, since they can take out the two on the other side then go three on three at the end.
4:52 AM: Turner told Michael he was fighting for his life last week and had to promise things so that he could get back to the Leftovers, so Alyssa and Terrance are thinking that they are fine. Turner said he will be putting both of them up since it would be totally unnecessary to use a Leftover as a pawn. Turner said there is no question that he will be losing Alyssa and Terrance’s jury votes. He added that he is Leftovers until he dies, and it started with HoH and will not be ending with his HoH. Michael said the six of them are still on board with the alliance, and they should all respect Turner’s decision in terms of who should go first out of Alyssa and Terrance.
5:02 AM: Turner told Taylor he is Leftovers until he dies, so he will put up Alyssa and Terrance. Turner said it will be an easy week. He mentioned he hopes he didn’t fight too hard for Alyssa during her HoH week. Taylor asked why Turner went on the block. Turner said he thinks Terrance was trying to get information and did it with the intention of flipping him with Kyle. Turner said once Alyssa and Terrance go up, if there is talk of them forming something outside, he hopes the Leftovers see where his loyalty lies and that he had no other option last week. Turner clarified that he is fine with either Alyssa or Terrance going this week.
