Big Brother 24 Day 52 - Brittany and Taylor are nominated for eviction
August 26, 2022
10:35 AM: Kyle, Monte and Turner had a long talk about the plan for the week. While Turner had been telling a number of his Leftovers allies that he was going to nominate Alyssa and Terrance, the three guys agreed that the best plan for the week would be to nominate Brittany and Taylor. Michael would be the main target but would be the backdoor option.
11:44 AM: Turner told Alyssa that he is going to nominate Brittany and Taylor with the intention of backdooring Michael. Alyssa asked if he plans to let them know that they are going up. Turner said no. Should Michael win the veto and save Brittany, Turner said it would probably be Monte who goes up. Turner reassured Alyssa that she is the last person he would put up this week. They discussed going final three with Kyle.
1:37 PM: Turner confirmed with Terrance that he will be putting Brittany and Taylor up with the goal of backdooring Michael. If Michael wins the veto, Turner said that Taylor would then be the target. Turner mentioned that Monte is clearly not on board with those people, so they could bring him in unless Terrance is uncomfortable with that. Terrance said the only thing that makes him afraid is Monte knows he tried to betray him. Turner said he already spoke to Monte about Terrance not having him on his radar and being focused on Brittany, Michael and Taylor, which he was happy to hear. Terrance said it’s a thing of the past between he and Monte, so they can work together.
1:43 PM: Terrance asked Alyssa if she is okay with bringing Monte in. Alyssa said yeah. She asked if Terrance is good with it. He said he is but he needs to make sure that they are past their previous situation.
1:48 PM: Kyle told Turner he thinks that he will come clean to Monte about spilling The Leftovers after the nomination ceremony. Kyle said he would feel so much more confident about their chances next week if Monte is on board with them. Kyle said he thinks they have a good shot at making it to the final two. Turner agreed, saying the only people he would be worried about at this point are Michael and Taylor. Kyle said he trusted Brittany and Michael until last week. Turner said he was on board with them until yesterday.
2:01 PM: Taylor told Monte she asked Turner what he said to Alyssa and Terrance, and he told her that he lied to their faces. Monte said he told him the same thing. Taylor said she is nervous because Alyssa, Kyle and Turner are all saying that Joseph talked too much last week. They discussed that it could be true or it could be BS.
2:34 PM: Monte and Terrance had a lengthy game talk to clear the air on the things that happened throughout the game up to this point. As for this week, Monte said everyone loves Michael and nobody has proven that they can clearly outmatch him in a veto competition. Terrance suggested that they all go after Michael this week, then they can revisit other battles after that. Monte said they have got to use the veto if they win it. Terrance agreed.
3:05 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
4:27 PM: Feeds returned. Turner nominated Brittany and Taylor for eviction.
4:27 PM: Brittany spoke with Turner about what she should do. She claimed that she has not done anything that she is being accused of. Turner reassured her that he does not want her to go home. He said that she does not need to feel like she has to manoeuvre in order to prove herself to him. Turner explained that Taylor clearly has end game plans that do not involve him. Brittany said Taylor had mentioned working with her, Michael, Monte and then Joseph as a fifth but she insisted that she, Joseph and Taylor did not have a final three like was mentioned.
4:32 PM: Taylor told Terrance she doesn’t understand why Joseph would plant a seed against her on his way out the door. There were talks of Taylor creating a final three with Brittany and Joseph, and a final four that included Michael.
4:41 PM: Turner told Michael he did not want to put him on the block at all but he understands that Michael is likely upset since his friends are on the block. Michael said he will be very happy if he remains off of the block this week. Michael admitted that he is a little bit confused. Turner said he had no idea if he was going to go with this plan or the plan to nominate Alyssa and Terrance until he was making his nominations. Turner said it was too soon for Taylor to be making end game plans, plus they did not involve him. Michael asked if Turner would prefer to see Taylor go. Turner said he does not want Brittany to go and he does not want Taylor to go either but he believes that she was starting this. Turner added that he felt as though he would have been leaving in sixth place had he stuck with the Leftovers.
4:56 PM: Brittany told Alyssa it would not even make sense for her to have a final three with Joseph and Taylor. Brittany stated that her name is being thrown around for things that she did not do. Alyssa asked how Brittany’s conversation with Turner went. She said Turner told her that she is safe but she is worried that it could change if she were to say anything.
5:00 PM: Michael told Brittany that he will hopefully get selected to play in the veto competition so that he can win and take her down in order to keep them both safe. He thinks that he or Monte are the true target this week. Brittany said it sucks that she is on the block over something that is not true. Michael said he would believe that Taylor may have pitched the idea to Joseph while they were chained together. Brittany agreed. Michael mentioned Alyssa saying she knew that Brittany and Taylor were going up even though Turner claimed that he didn’t know what he was going to do, which was obviously not true. Brittany talked about feeling as though she needs to come clean to Alyssa, though she worried that it would seal her fate if she were to expose the Leftovers prior to Kyle and Turner letting Alyssa know. Michael wasn’t sure that that would be the case.
5:21 PM: Turner swore to Taylor that Joseph said Taylor kept bringing up making an alliance and he said no every time. Taylor said Joseph was the first to bring it up and then the second time it was a mutual discussion about where or not now is the time, and they agreed that it was not. Taylor said she feels like an idiot because she was sitting there stressed all week about Joseph going.
5:31 PM: Taylor asked Michael if Brittany told him that there was never a final three. Michael said yeah and he believes her but he doesn’t care even if there was. Michael said it does not make sense that Joseph would throw two people under the bus at Big BroChella in order to try to get the votes at Dyre Fest, especially since he would have had a lot to use against Kyle. Taylor told Michael that Turner is saying Joseph mentioned her pushing a final four conversation over and over. Taylor admitted that she wanted a final four but it was Joseph who initially brought up one consisting of the two of them, Brittany and Michael. Taylor called this a doomsday scenario. Michael pointed out that Joseph may be being used as the scapegoat. They agreed that it makes no sense for Joseph to try to tank their games on his way out. Michael figures that Kyle would love to sit next to Alyssa at the end.
5:43 PM: Kyle met with Alyssa, Monte and Turner. He let Monte know that Alyssa knows about everything. He explained that Terrance knew something was going on and asked him about it, so he owned up to it. Kyle added that Joseph owned up to it as well, then he brought them in for a four hour conversation about everything that had gone on, and it turned into a blood bath. Alyssa said Brittany, Michael and Taylor do not know that she knows anything, so they are continuing to lie to her.
6:43 PM: Alyssa let Taylor know that Joseph came to her and said Taylor wanted her out the week prior but he had her back and said not to do it. Taylor said Joseph is the one that told her to do it, and she is getting blamed for everything that Joseph had said. Taylor explained that Joseph said Alyssa was laughing about having taken the trip and giving her a punishment. Alyssa said she was torn up about it and felt so terrible. Taylor said she felt really stupid. Alyssa mentioned Joseph talking about Brittany and Taylor coming to him about a final three which he declined. Taylor said Joseph is the one that came to her saying he felt good about them.
6:58 PM: Brittany spoke to Kyle about how to deal with Alyssa in terms of her finding out about the Leftovers. She wondered if there is a way to find out if she knows and then have a talk with her about it. Kyle said he has been delaying having that type of conversation because Alyssa is the type to cut ties immediately when someone wrongs her. Brittany said Alyssa clearly knows something about her already based on the questions that she has been asking, so she wondered if it could be the Leftovers. Kyle said they don’t know what Joseph told her but maybe it was just something small.
7:08 PM: Monte questioned if someone else shared a bunch of information and then Joseph felt the need to defend himself. He said that would be a different situation than what they are being told. Taylor said Joseph would have had to have lied about the people he protected for so long while walking out the door. Monte said he finds that hard to believe.
7:26 PM: Monte told Taylor their worst fear came true in that the people from Dyre Fest are making up whatever story is most convenient. He added that it’s almost as if the other side knows everything now. Both didn’t think that Joseph would have exposed everything. Taylor acknowledged that Kyle and Turner had to consider their options if they thought that they would be the first to go out of the seven. Monte thought that it may stem from Taylor’s HoH week in which Kyle felt as though Brittany and Michael were saying one thing in front of him and then another in front of the group. Taylor asked Monte if he would play for her and take her down if she gets houseguest’s choice. He said yes.
7:33 PM: Kyle told Turner he thinks that they should get Terrance to tell Monte about what happened last week. He figured that information was about to come out from Brittany, Michael or Taylor anyway, and he didn’t want Terrance to be left out of the loop. Kyle explained that Brittany and Michael said Alyssa told them she knows that they are lying.
7:36 PM: Michael asked Kyle and Turner if they are sure that Alyssa doesn’t know everything. He questioned if Joseph spilled since Alyssa is asking Brittany some very pointed questions. Michael said he will feel awful if Brittany is protecting the alliance by keeping it a secret and then losing votes in the process because someone else leaked it. Kyle said he thinks there is a chance but who knows.
7:45 PM: Alyssa told Brittany she gets the vibe that she has been missing something that is right in front of her the whole game. Brittany said she has been trying to give hints over the weeks. She added that today showed that whatever it was is not a thing. Brittany said she worries that she will be a goner if she spills the beans. Alyssa assured her that she would never tell. Brittany eventually revealed that it “is everybody” and said it includes Kyle and Turner too. Brittany told Alyssa that the alliance was called The Leftovers. She said Kyle and Turner started it. After that, she said the founding people were Joseph, Kyle, Monte and Turner, then she, Michael and Taylor were brought in for numbers, so she knew that they would one day become expendable.
8:04 PM: Kyle asked Terrance if they should tell Monte about last week in order to solidify things. Terrance said he had planned to leave that call up to Kyle because it makes him a little nervous. Kyle said Monte has shared a lot of information about last week to him and Turner, telling them that the others were coming after them. They ultimately agreed that they should talk to Monte.
8:11 PM: Michael told Taylor that Kyle and Turner were so nonchalant when he asked them if Alyssa could possible know everything. Michael didn’t think that Kyle would be calm if Alyssa knew everything but he didn’t think that telling her would do them any good at this point given who is in power.
8:14 PM: Kyle told Monte and Turner that he spoke to Terrance about filling Monte in on last week. Kyle said Terrance agreed that they should do it and said he would like to be the one to have the conversation if they cannot all get into a room together.
8:17 PM: Taylor looked for confirmation from Brittany that they had never met with Joseph about a final three. Brittany said it was a lie. Brittany wondered why Joseph would want to drag them down. Taylor said she doesn’t think that he did. She believes Alyssa knows way more than she is letting on and she is opening the door for the truth to be told like they did with Jasmine. Brittany asked if Taylor thinks Joseph could have told Alyssa anything. Taylor said she thinks Kyle or Turner realized where they were on the totem pole, pulled in Alyssa or Terrance, confronted Joseph, and then Joseph let everything out.
8:21 PM: Alyssa let Kyle and Turner know that Brittany just spilled everything to her. Kyle said he figured that was going to happen. Kyle asked if they are going to make an alliance with Monte involved. Alyssa said she doesn’t think so, which Kyle agreed with. Kyle said they can do a name if they want to. Turner mentioned that they could call it the After Party again. Alyssa questioned why they would bring Monte in to an alliance when Brittany would be easier to beat.
8:48 PM: Alyssa, Kyle, Monte, Terrance and Turner met. Monte said they have already compared notes about last week and have talked about how he felt regarding what Brittany and Michael were up to the week prior. He said Brittany and Michael had already set something up with Joseph prior to coming to him. Turner said they will have a 5 on 2 advantage heading into next week, and they will have way more competition wins if they can get Michael out.
