Big Brother 24 Day 54
August 28, 2022
9:42 AM: Brittany and Michael met with Monte and Taylor in the have-not room to discuss Kyle’s comments about a Cookout type alliance potentially being formed. The conversation lasted over an hour but was not shown on the feeds.
10:40 AM: Kyle told Alyssa that Brittany, Michael, Monte and Taylor are upstairs with Turner. Kyle said they have to make sure that Monte goes up because he may send Alyssa home if she is on the block.
10:41 AM: Kyle told Alyssa and Terrance that they have to speak with Turner before Monte joins them because he will come up with a laundry list of reasons why he should not be the one to go up. Terrance said they can use Monte’s own words against him since he said that he wanted to put some distance between them. Kyle added that it would disguise that they are working with him.
10:48 AM: Alyssa went to the HoH room and found Turner asleep. She said she thought that everyone was up there. Turner promised that nobody is in there.
10:49 AM: Alyssa let Kyle know that nobody is up in the HoH room. Kyle suspected that Monte may be telling Brittany, Michael and Taylor everything. Kyle said they will vote him out if he does that. Both agreed that they would be on board to do that over sending Taylor home.
10:53 AM: Kyle told Terrance he thinks that Monte may be spilling the beans. Terrance said they have been in the have-not room for quite a while.
10:55 AM: Monte came down from the have-not room. He told Kyle that they were trying to figure something out but it wasn’t anything concrete. Kyle asked what they are going to try to do. Monte said he has no idea.
11:53 AM: Michael told Alyssa that Kyle grouped Joseph, Monte and Taylor together. While he said he could see why he would think Joseph and Monte were close, he did not see a link between either of the two with Taylor, given that this was prior to the fauxmance. Michael said Kyle could not point to anything concrete. Michael added that Kyle then brought up the Cookout and talked about their unifying goal, suggesting that the people of colour were going to turn against them this season. Michael stated that Kyle insinuated that the five white people needed to stick together. Brittany said she doesn’t think that Kyle is being malicious but she pointed out that they cannot simply assume there is another Cookout just because it happened last year and then he doubled down on it again. Alyssa said she would not have grouped those three together. Brittany said they wanted to let her know what was being said so that she doesn’t watch back and realize that she was inadvertently a part of a white alliance. Alyssa said that is not something that she would want to be a part of. Michael revealed that he would like to see Kyle leave this week. He said he plans to talk to Turner about it. He said that he would regret not saying anything even if he ended up winning the game. Alyssa said she appreciates the information, she will keep it to herself, and she hopes that she is not grouped into that.
12:30 PM: Michael told Brittany he feels at peace no matter what happens now. Brittany said he brought up such a good point that describes how she feels in terms of not knowing how she would live with herself afterwards had she not said anything. Michael said he feels guilty that they even made Kyle feel comfortable. He said he should have spoken up from the start.
1:19 PM: Michael told Turner that Kyle essentially pitched a white alliance to him, saying he thinks that Indy, Jasmine, Joseph, Monte and Terrance were going to pick them off first. Michael said that at one point Kyle was about to say something and then mentioned that he cannot because he is going to get cancelled if he does so. Michael explained that Kyle became more explicit about it during Taylor’s HoH week, saying that the five of them need to work together, and voicing his concern about Taylor not wanting to put a black woman up. Michael said Kyle related this situation to the Cookout and then suggested that all of the people of colour would be align.
1:29 PM: Monte told Terrance he isn’t sure about Kyle. He pointed out the extend that Kyle was willing to go to in order to get Joseph out, and said he is now saying that the black people are all working together. Terrance questioned how they are working together when he is on the block every week. Monte added that multiple black people have been on the block together too.
1:35 PM: Turner thanked Brittany and Michael for bringing him the information about Kyle. He said he does not know where to go from here. Brittany and Michael made it clear that they are comfortable sharing this in front of the whole house if necessary. Turner brought up Taylor telling him that he and Kyle were going to be the first to go out of the Leftovers, and she said that Brittany and Michael were on board with that. Michael said he made it clear that he was okay with Kyle going but did not mention Turner. Brittany seconded that. Turner said that led him to make the move that he did since he believed that he would be out of the house in two weeks had he not done something. Brittany said she understood given the information that he had, but she thought that they were closer than that and figured that he would have came to her to ask about it first.
2:00 PM: Terrance told Kyle that Monte spoke to him but he couldn’t hear a lot of it due to where Monte was seated. Terrance said Brittany and Michael are apparently forming a non-black alliance.
2:01 PM: Terrance asked Monte for clarification on what he had said, asking if Brittany and Michael think that they have an all black alliance. Monte said no. He explained that Kyle was trying to get Brittany and Michael to form an all white alliance. He added that the way Kyle operated last week raised many red flags for him as it showed that he would go to any extent to further his game.
2:13 PM: Kyle told Alyssa that he feels so alone right now. He asked what she thinks that Brittany and Michael are saying to Turner. Alyssa said she has no idea. Kyle asked if they talked about his and their conversations about splitting up the Leftovers. Alyssa confirmed that they did. Kyle asked if there is anything else. Alyssa initially hesitated to say but told Kyle they made it seem like he was working against people, not giving Joseph, Monte and Taylor a fair shot. Kyle questioned if they are pitching that he was talking about a race thing. Alyssa said not necessarily. Kyle told Alyssa this is bigger than game and will ruin his life, so he is going to leave the game if that is what’s happening. Kyle said it’s not true at all and he will be leaving if he is being painted as a racist.
2:19 PM: Kyle entered the diary room.
2:23 PM: Monte let Alyssa know that he is not grouping her in with what he has heard about Kyle. Monte said hearing it all got him very frustrated and angry. He said Brittany and Michael would have to stoop very low to make this up, and he saw Kyle’s reaction when Taylor said she did not want to nominate a black woman. Monte explained that Brittany and Michael had very specific examples of things that had been said. Alyssa said she hopes that Kyle can give more clarity on the situation. They both said they hope it’s not true. Terrance said it’s malicious to say that you are going to get all of the people of colour out of the way. Alyssa said she cannot see him saying that as it’s the worst thing to possibly say, but she has no idea.
2:32 PM: Turner spoke to the cameras. He said he never could have thought that he could be convinced Kyle may not be best for his game, but Michael did that. Turner said Kyle may end up on the block this week. He said Taylor is still worse for his game even with that alliance in Kyle’s mouth, but he may still put Kyle up to be good with Brittany and Michael.
2:39 PM: Alyssa told Terrance she wants this to be a misunderstanding and she does not want everyone to come at Kyle because it would ruin his life. Terrance said he doesn’t want that to happen either. He said he loves Alyssa, Kyle and Turner, and hopes that they can keep that energy. Alyssa said she hopes that Kyle calls everyone together as a group and gives clarity as to what happened. She said she felt sick to her stomach when Brittany and Michael told her what was going on.
2:46 PM: Monte and Turner agreed that nobody in their right mind would lie about Kyle saying what they are claiming that he did. Turner said it doesn’t make any sense to loop then in together when it’s obvious that there is no loop. Turner said there is racism within that. Turner revealed that Kyle wants Monte to be the pawn. Monte said he knew that. Turner said he does not want to do that and does not want to be putting two people of colour up either. Monte said Kyle wants that because it would assure that a black person is going home. Turner admitted that he is battling between Kyle and Taylor in terms of who should leave this week. Turner said Taylor is the worst person for his game and it sounds like Kyle would clearly leave next week, so he doesn’t know if it makes sense to take him out when Taylor has said to his face that she wants him out. Monte said he thinks that Kyle going on the block makes the most sense. Turner said he is definitely going to put him up there.
2:59 PM: Feeds went down.
3:54 PM: Feeds returned.
4:03 PM: Turner explained to Alyssa that he would be making himself a target if he doesn’t put Kyle on the block, so he is likely going to make that move. Alyssa thanked Turner for letting her know. She said she hopes there is a house meeting and they can get some clarity on things. Turner said he hopes that it doesn’t happen until after the veto ceremony so that his decision is not complicated even further.
4:19 PM: Feeds went down.
7:25 PM: Feeds returned. The movie screening that Michael won during the veto comp took place. Alyssa, Taylor and Turner attended with him.
7:27 PM: Kyle exited the diary room and asked where Michael was. The conversation between the two was not shown on the feeds.
7:45 PM: Feeds went down.
9:41 PM: Feeds returned.
12:21 AM: Monte told Turner he just got reassurance from Taylor that he is not going up next week. Turner said that’s what Michael told him too, saying he doesn’t think anyone would have him take out Kyle for the house and then take him out next week. Turner said he would take that sympathy where he can get it even though he wasn’t asking for immunity. Monte said it’s good to hear from Taylor. Turner agreed since that was the person he was most worried about. Monte said he thinks Alyssa and Terrance would be her nominees. Monte said he tried to level with Taylor on the whole Michael situation since he kicked their asses again in the veto competition. Monte said she seemed open to not being pissed about them taking the shot at him.
