Big Brother 24 Day 58 - Kyle is evicted; Michael wins HoH
September 2, 2022
6:42 PM: By a vote of 5-0, Kyle was evicted from the Big Brother house.
6:58 PM: Julie let the houseguests know that they will be getting a visit from Zingbot later tonight. The HoH competition then got underway.
7:43 PM: Feeds returned. Michael is the new HoH.
8:02 PM: Monte and Terrance discussed that Brittany and Michael revealing information that they had for weeks about Kyle was a game move and there was strategy involved in the timing of it. Monte disagreed with the narrative that it was bad for their game to share the information. Terrance said his jury vote will take into account what they did. Monte said if Michael is up against someone else at the end, people may consider how things went down. Terrance promised that he would sway the jury by laying out the timetable of the events and asking them to draw their own conclusions as to why it was brought up when it was. Terrance said he blames Kyle but he is not the only one to blame.
8:45 PM: Feeds went down for Zingbot.
9:36 PM: Feeds returned.
10:04 PM: Taylor commented to Michael that they have made it to the top six. She thanked him, saying that she doesn’t want to seem too ungrateful. Michael said the conversations are going to be awkward since he already knows what he is going to do.
10:31 PM: Monte told Turner he feels like this week is going to be pretty boring. Turner said he hopes so. Monte agreed since it would be nice to feel like they know what is happening.
10:44 PM: Taylor asked Brittany if Michael has decided who would go up if someone takes themselves down, suggesting that Alyssa and Terrance would be the initial nominees. Brittany said she would think it would be Turner. She asked what the alternative would be. Taylor said one of them would have to go up as a pawn if not. Brittany said they have to make sure that Alyssa and Terrance don’t win the veto.
11:43 PM: Taylor asked Monte how he is doing. Monte said he is feeling good. Brittany said it should be a good week as long as there are no powers in play.
12:57 AM: Michael came out of the diary room for his HoH room reveal.
2:19 AM: Terrance told Michael he is trying to figure out how to fit in the space that is now here. Terrance brought up that he was supposed to be gone when he won HoH heading into Dyre Fest. Terrance said he doesn’t have a game plan in mind, but he would like to know if he can be a part of Michael’s plans moving forward. Michael looked for clarification as to what happened at Dyre Fest in terms of the Leftovers being revealed. Terrance explained that Kyle approached him prior to nominations and started exposing everything.
2:44 AM: Michael let Alyssa know that he wants to talk with everyone tonight and then check in again tomorrow. He said the house meeting almost felt like a reset and then it felt almost inappropriate to be talking game following it, so he wants to get back up to speed tonight. Alyssa let Michael know that if he sees any value in keeping her there, she would like to work with him and will be trying to win something. Alyssa revealed that Kyle told her some information that she could give to someone she trusts. She said he told her that there was a final four alliance called The Pound within the Leftovers, consisting of Joseph, Kyle, Monte and Turner. Michael said there was speculation about that since they were the four that stayed up that night, but it’s good to hear confirmation. Michael said he doesn’t plan on putting Turner up since he doesn’t want the moral of the story to be that you do the right thing and then go up for it. Alyssa said that is respectable. She added that she understands Michael’s options are limited so she respects what he has to do this week. Michael said some people may fear sitting next to Alyssa at the end due to her social game, and people are afraid of his wins, so they may need each other.
3:14 AM: Michael told Brittany he would like to get Terrance out this week but he is afraid if he puts Alyssa next to him that Monte and Taylor are going to want to target Alyssa. Brittany said she thinks that Taylor will want Terrance out. Michael said people are going to want to take a shot at Alyssa, so she is someone who could need them. Brittany said she sees arguments for both this week. Michael said he is more concerned about going up against Terrance in a double. Brittany asked if Michael is still thinking that he will nominate Alyssa and Terrance. Michael confirmed that he is. Michael asked how she feels about that. Brittany said her only concern is that Turner is the biggest threat and he will be able to compete next week when Michael cannot. Michael brought up Monte. He said he isn’t going to put him up initially and doesn’t want to put him up as a backdoor, but he questioned if he is sold on the final four. Brittany said she thinks they need as much force as they can next week competing against Turner. Brittany told Michael she loves Taylor but she is waiting for someone to take Michael out. Brittany said Taylor believes that she is locked in to a final two with her and whoever takes Michael out at the end will be the one that wins the game. Brittany reiterated that she is locked in with Michael.
3:49 AM: Michael told Turner that he has been letting people know he is not putting him up. Turner said he appreciates it and he has got Michael’s back if he wins next week. Turner said Michael will not go up if he does win. Michael said the obvious choice for this week is Alyssa and Terrance. Turner said he is fully on board with it. Michael said he would almost rather Terrance go first. Turner said he wont use the veto unless Michael tells him to, as he would have no reason to do so.
4:01 AM: Micheal told Monte he talked to Alyssa and Terrance first so he couldn’t let them know that they were going up before he talked to everyone, but that is his plan. Monte said he thinks that’s where his head would be as well. Monte said they are probably going to suspect that they are all working together once that move is made, but there should be no issue as long as nobody uses the veto. Michael said his concern was whether or not Turner would use it on Alyssa, but he said that he would not. Monte said Turner has to know that he is public enemy number one next week if he happens to use the veto.
4:12 AM: Monte and Turner talked about needing to take a shot at Michael as soon as they can. Monte said they would look like fools if they didn’t. Turner agreed. Monte said if Michael is sitting next to anyone but Brittany at the end, they may have a fighting chance after what they did to get Kyle out this week. Monte said Terrance is pissed about the way things came out and he is too. Monte suggested that they were calculated and forced Turner’s hand into putting up Kyle. Turner said it was good for Brittany and Michael even though they are claiming that it wasn’t. Monte said they should also take Brittany out if they get a shot at her, as it gives them a chance with jury vote if only one of Brittany or Michael is there.
4:14 AM: Taylor asked Michael who would go up if Alyssa or Terrance win the veto and take themselves down. Michael said he doesn’t want to have to put Turner up but he may have to if it comes down to it. Taylor said put him up and keep him safe. Michael said that’s what he would prefer. Taylor asked if Michael has a target. Michael said he would prefer Terrance go as of now, since he would be more afraid of competing against him in a double eviction. Taylor said she would prefer to see Terrance go as well.
